Lovely food at very reasonable prices. I had soup of the day which was lovely while my wife and daughter had gourmet sandwich and halloumi wrap. I’ll definitely return again.
We live around the coast from Mylor Cafe, and walk around for breakfast/snacks/lunch so frequently. Can't recommend enough. Lovely spot. Great people. Fab food. Excellent everything 😊 Gets busy during the summer (understandably) so book if you can.
Fantastic breakfast here as always. Great service from cheerful staff. Prompt service too. My vegan breakfast was lovely, hot! Tasty, even the tomatoes were well cooked which in most cafes doesn't happen. Delicious hash browns too. My partners salmon and poached eggs and hollandaise was, he said, the eat he has ever had, and he's had a few! He said it was really tasty and generous. I would like breakfast here every morning!
A busy and lively cafe on the waterfront at Mylor harbour. I just had a delicious caramelized vegan cake, so I can't comment on the rest of the food. It's a great place for a hot drink on a cold wintry walk.
Consistently fabulous.. Great food, Great service, Great Atmos & view of Mylor Harbour. If you need to relax with a magical breakfast/brunch/lunch plus superb coffee.. You really should visit.
Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Food great, lots of outside tables, relaxed atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful. Coffee best I've had in Cornwall
We call in here regularly for coffee or something to eat after we have done the coastal walk or been out on the boat. The food is good and very plentiful the staff are excellent and I love the setting.
We were recommended to visit the Cafe which is located on the harbour's edge, a lovely area with a stunning view out to sea. We dined on the evening when it was 'Fish Friday' knowing that the catch would be fresh and within hours from boat to plate. The portion sizes were good, lovely presentation and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Highly recommended day or on the Friday night!
We went to ‘Caught at Cafe Mylor’ and it was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu was well priced and offered a good choice. The great tasting food was very well cooked and presented. I would highly recommend this Friday night dining experience.
amazing amazing little cafe in the most gorgeous falmouth harbour town of mylor. amazing staff and super friendly, great range of breakfast and lunch foods and snacks on the menu and delicious food, especially the poached eggs and avocado on toast was a standout for me, great little deck to enjoy and soak up the sun on and admire the quaint little fishing boats bobbing up and down and the blue creek
We live locally and have been going to Cafe Mylor regularly for the past 4 years. Every single visit has been a lovely experience. The staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is always delicious (big portions too!). It’s somewhere we look forward to going at the weekend, and nowhere else really compares now! After going to the wonderful curry night last night, I thought it’s about time I left a review!
We had a private party for 32 people at Cafe Mylor. I have to say that the food and service was the most wonderful I have ever experienced. If this had been a 3* Michelin restaurant in London then the buffet would have been no better. The owners, staff and chef should be very proud. I can't recommend Cafe Mylor highly enough!
Popped in for coffee and cake comming back for our walk, dog friendly staff were friendly and helpful lovely atmosphere and omg the blueberry cake we had was amazing whoever made that need to go on bake off it was just amazing lol . We are definitely coming back to try the burgers 🍔 that's for sure.
Consistently great. Lovely staff, coping well with the busy lunchtime. The food and drinks are good - enjoy them outside with marina views if you can. Parking can be tricky on very busy days, but most of the time you can park in the main car park or behind the harbour
Delicious lunch with lots of veggie and vegan options on the menu. We shared the TLT vegan and one of the specials - ciabatta with beetroot falafels and side salad. The chunky chips are the best! Excellent service, the staff were all so friendly. Beautiful location overlooking Mylor Harbour with plenty of outdoor seating. Would recommend walking the circular route from Flushing (6km) and stopping at this cafe for breakfast, lunch or cake!
Really warm, welcoming cafe. Great coffee.
Great lunch! Excellent food and service.
Supernice place next to the port, good food and coffee. Beatiful terrace and kindly service! Recommendable!
Great little cafe. Had delicious brunch and the smoke salmon was so fresh and a very generous portion. The staff were so friendly and the view was fantastic. Definitely would recommend.
An amazing Friday night fish special. Plenty of space and a chilled atmosphere, combined with perfectly cooked fresh local food made it the best evening out for ages. Will definitely return.
I come in for a coffee from time to time and I’m always treated brilliantly, Izzy has served me every time and she’s fantastic, incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with. Great bacon sandwiches too!
We had a lovely brunch after walking on the beach. Really good food, friendly and helpful staff...and the view was fascinating.
One of my favourite places for breakfast. Very peaceful, and the ingredients have always been high quality and cooked to perfection. Make sure to book as it's busy year round.
Set in a beautiful place, staff very polite and friendly. Good absolutely delicious, large portions, can even ask for a doggy bag if you can't eat it all (I did) will definitely go again on our frequent trips to Cornwall
Absolutely loved our meal at Cafe Mylor tonight! Brilliant food, amazing fresh produce, creative menu (the crab linguine, scallops, mussels and fish & chips was insane - to be fair everything was delicious!). Service was also brilliant and dog friendly so a bonus! Would recommend you get down there for the Friday night dinner, it’s not to be missed!
Called in for coffee and a snack on Wednesday 11 October. This was one of the best lattes that I have ever had. It was perfect for my taste. My snack was delicious too. The views from inside the cafe were beautifull looking across the harbour. The staff were pleasant, helpfull and efficient. Cafe ambience was quiet but nice.
Lovely, welcoming and friendly staff, great food and coffee. Managed to get tables a couple of times over the last few weeks as a walk in but it's already really busy. Worth booking to ensure you get a table as the season progresses
Not only does Cafe Mylor have a lovely view, the food was delicious. We managed to get a seat right out the front and ordered a veggie breakfast and a bap. There were pretty of dietary options and felt spoiled for choice! A nice little spot in a harbour, the staff are so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to this little spot when we are down in Cornwall again! :)
Really nice little cafe. Space inside and outside. We had a toastie and some pancakes. The toastie was really tasty and a good size. The pancakes were light and fluffy and came with several toppings. Would recommend.
Stopped here for a pint after a sail and the staff were really friendly. I believe we were served by Eva (sorry if thats wrong!!) but she was so nice and friendly. Good place for a drink after a long sail
Stunning location! We ordered scambled eggs & toast with a Cappucino . I ordered the breakfast bap with a Chai Latte. It was delicious. Staff are courteous and friendly. Will definitely pop in again.
Expected more after reading reviews, can tell the ingredients are decent quality however execution is fairly poor. Breakfasts were mostly cold, beans stone cold especially. Flat mushrooms were not peeled so unpleasant, grilled tomato didnt see much grilling..microwaved scrambled eggs. Bacon was really good, and hogs pudding delicious. They did give us a deep fried veg/vegan sausage In hopes we wouldn't notice but I didnt say anything couldn't be bothered. Hit and miss, however I think people remember the stunning views of harbour rather than food.
Great cafe, in a fantastic location. Went for breakfast and sat out on the terrace overlooking the marins. Would have happily given 5* if only the veggie sausages, in what was a premium priced breakfast, weren't those cheap and nasty ones of potato and mixed veg... what a let down in an otherwise great experience. Very busy, so you need to book and the car park is coins only!
We keep our boat ⛵ at Mylor . Used the cafe a lot over the years which has always been good. This summer got very disappointed with the breakfast after twice using the cafe on separate days both times the breakfast was only luke warm with cold beans. Even after sending them back they still didn't come back hot. It's a shame as food always used to be served hot.Not what you want when paying over £30 for two breakfasts. But above all the staff are all very courteous.
Went with partner for his birthday treat, and was told the wait for our lunch order would be around 45 mins, which was fine with us as we was going to have a pre food drink. We sat and waited and waited, watched other customers arrive, order food and subsequently receive their food. After 1 and half hours went to ask about our food, was told that the order hadn’t been put through to kitchen. 🤷🏻♀️. Was offered money back or another wait. We opted for money back and left very disappointed.
Such a shame - lovely setting, nice cafe, great food. However despite serving until 4pm, sat for family coffee and cakes and invited to leave at 16.10. We were served in takeaway cups (normally cups/saucers), music switched off, hoovering around us and then all the customers being shouted at across the cafe that the cafe was now closed and they are closing up ….10 MINUTES LATER - 16.10!! Poor customer service. As a local customer won’t be heading back, will pop to a more friendly cafe.
Out for lunch with friends, usually a nice meal. My teapot leaked everywhere and leaves in my cup. Second teapot wasn't much better. Had poached eggs on toast (burnt toast) along with their water out of the pan that made most of the toast very soggy. Eggs were runny and white very wet. Had to hunt for own cutlery no advice offered where to find them, and had to ask for butter for toast. Wont be returning soon!! Simple meal slapped infront of you. Disappointed 😞
