Tiny Thai is a small, popular spot known for authentic and flavorful Thai food. Many rave about the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Service can be slow due to a small staff, but the food is worth the wait. It's more of a takeout place, but they have a few tables.

Amazing Thai every time! Drunken noodles and pad see ew are very well done here. The spice level is legit so beware about anything above a level 3-4. Only offering takeout as of June 2021.
Amazing food, very nice people. Recommending this place to anyone in the mood for real Thai and the to go containers are perfect because they give you enough food so you have some to take home 😍😍😍
My go to Thai restaurant in the area. Every meal we have had there is delicious! Their dine in is not back open but take out has been great as always!
I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. The service is great and the food is consistently delicious and authentic. It can get a little crowded at peak times, but I've rarely had to wait unless I come with a large group.
Pad Thai lovers , drunken noodles , tom gai are always delicious - spring rolls are delicately seasoned, i don't even use the 'dipping sauce' on them . . . . . . Thai ice tea is a delicious cooler for those who can't 'take the heat' of a three pepper dish . I highly recco this spot on Main Street , Farmingdale, NY
Delicious food at a fair price. This is a family owned business which has been serving our community since around 2004. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood.
Awesome dishes. Everyone of them. Sometimes a bit busy for staff. Been going there several years. Best Thai, better than even ones in city.
Great food every time. I especially love the spicy fried rice and the drunken noodle. Great spicy dishes, packed with favor. Good prices too
the most AMAZING food i’ve ever tasted! great flavor as well as a wide selection and amazing service. the hostess is so sweet and was very attentive to us.
Delicious food + great service! I've been here several times and always have a good experience. Nice tiny cute place, great for a date night.
Wonderful run family restaurant. Nice people. Really good food, always. Lunch specials nice variety. Been going here several years.
Friendly, great food, prik king salmon and drunken noodles, omg, so good...
One of our Thai places closed due to covid and close to home, this is my other favorite Thai place and the staff is kind. Food is delicious and will always come here!
My favorite Thai place ever! The environment is so relaxing and calm. Service can be on the slower side but well worth it and the waitress is so sweet. Amazing chicken noodle and chicken satay! Can’t wait for them to open again!!
The lady in the front, Jennifer, was super nice and welcoming! My family and I share a number of allergies which tend to limit what we can eat but this lady went through her whole menu and gave us a number of options for what we can eat. Wish there was more than 5 stars I could give this restaurant!
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Amazing food and absolutely love the thai tea more than anything. Even appreciate the cute little straw wrappers that were made into a rose for valentine’s day. Amazing service with the best server/cashier. Really friendly and overall a great experience!!!
The food is excellent, and at least for the dinner crowd we've never had a problem. Just be careful when you order as far as how spicy you want it. It's a small place, hence the name "Tiny Thai" but we really like it.
Man, is this place delicious! This has definitely become our go to spot for amazing Thai Food! Super friendly and sweet owners. The food is sooo good! Each bite is so flavorful and honestly just addicting! The portions might seem a little small, but they are more than satisfying! If you want good Thai food, don’t think about going somewhere else, just go here! Worth it!
Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Good Thai place! Service was pretty good as well! They are friendly. I wish the padthai was slightly sweeter, but otherwise, it was tasty. Seating is limited, and portion sizes are small but filling. Recommendation: beef pad thai
The name aptly describes the size of the place but not the portions. Small inside with maybe 8 tables, but amazingly delicious food. We brought a friend here who never had thai food and she loved it. The flavors are bold and the owners are friendly. Everything is made from scratch. You can order from mild to really spicy. We had pad king, pineapple chicken and basil beef fried rice ... it waa fresh and scrumptious. I also love their ginger dressing for the salad.
Delicious, fresh thai food! I got the tom yum chicken soup and chicken musman curry. the curry came with jasmine rice. they only do takeout but there a few tables inside for dining if you'd like to eat there.
Update: Literally the best Pad Thai (Pad Thai Lovers) I've ever had. Ic is after I mixed it together and I love my spice! Delicious Thai food in a small, cozy and comfortable environment. Friendly family-owned/run establishment. Food was not greasy as is often the case with Thai restaurants, and everything was cooked to perfection. We are here from NW Florida and our friends from Maryland joined us at this Farmingdale, NY location. It definitely rivaled my favorite Thai restaurant, which says a lot!
Couldn’t wait to go again! I love Thai food and I tried this place in farmingdale. I cannot be happier to say I loved their red wine and the super delicious drunken noodles. If you are a fan of drunken noodles , then this is the place you have to visit and try. Still can’t forget the taste 😀
I ordered a Pad Thai w/ Chicken and a Drunken Noodle w/ Chicken. Both were outstanding, flavorful and light. I found my new Thai spot, I will be coming back.

No words to describe how great this place is. Amazing food, service and peaceful atmosphere. My family and I love coming to eat dinner here
Unbelievable Thai food. My favorite Thai food on Long Island. Have been coming here for over 20 years. It's disappointing that it is more take out than restaurant, but the food is incredible. Very reasonable prices. I recommend Bag of Gold and Curry Puffs for appetizers. Basil chicken or any curry.
The Parang Curry with basil and string beans (chicken) is outstanding. Also love their Drunken Noodles!
Deliciously authentic Thai. The name doesn't lie: it's tiny. The flavor, however, is big. Have patience with the sole waitress as she deftly manages table service and a brisk take-out trade. The food comes out quickly and never disappoints.
Great food and unforgettable service. I can understand why many people say it's bad, but I've come to appreciate the sparkplug personality of the sole waitress, and a big reason we come back is because we love her so much. I do agree that they need to hire a second waitress, as this place is always packed and can get too tough for one person to handle. Food is always consistently good and is a fantastic place to get in and out for lunch. I think most times I've been here we've been seated and out the door within a half hour. Waitress isn't always the most attentive, but you get what you want if you can flag her down, and the price is fantastic for quick, delicious thai food.
I am very surprised and disappointed to hear that so many people have had rude service at this place. I have been here about 6 to 7 times and the service can be slow especially when they are busy they are very slow (small staff) but they have always been very polite to myself and all my guest. The food here is very good, we normally order several dishes and do a family style type eating so as to sample the different foods. I think the food is really worth the trip but I am not an expert by no means of Thai food but several of my guest who are better suited have said the food was excellent and they have gone back bringing others. I have suggested the place but have not heard about rude service but they all have said it is slow but not awfully so. I do suggest the place but with caution due to so many poor service complaints. Place is small so not great for a larger group.
My husband and I love Thai food. We've visited several Thai restaurants, but this one is the best. We went to Thailand for the first time this year, and this place is an excellent representation of authentic Thai food. Don't be fooled by its portions—there is more than enough!
Amazing Thai food! The owners really know what they're doing here. Everything is extremely flavorful and delicious. The portions may seem small but they're the perfect size to keep you full and satisfied. The woman who works here is so sweet and kind! It is take-out only though, so no sit down dining. Definitely give it a try if you're looking for authentic Thai food.
Great food and really nice people! You can sit there but mainly take out since Covid.
Finally found my authentic Thai fix! Great little spot on the corner of Main St. Very nice staff and incredibly delicious food! Their Thai Iced Tea is a bit on the sweet side but I’m sure you can ask for less sugar. They have reasonable portion sizes based on the area and their food was very fresh! Will be back to check out their curry options! Ordered 2 appetizers, a fried rice and a pad Thai, came out to about a tad less than $50 for 4 items and a drink.
This was a last minute lunch decision, my first choice was closed. But what a surprise. My friend said it was good, I thought it was amazing. It's tiny and busy during lunch time. Service was slow, but it was worth the wait. I ordered the pad Thai with chicken. I was asked how spicy I would like it from 1-5. I said 4 and it was perfect. Thai was authentic and portions were generous. My lunch came with two spring rolls and vegetable soup which was delish. I can't wait to go back and now I have a new favorite lunch spot.

The food is outstanding! The dining room no longer has table service. While I was able to eat there, it was disappointing.
Food was fantastic, drunken noodle and panang chicken curry are highly recommended. Would be 5 stars but the service was lacking. Took about 15 minutes before the waitress took our drink order...with 3 tables sat.
I've been going here for over six years. Other than it being tiny and sometimes hard to get a table during peak hours, this place is consistently good and one of the best Thai options in the area.
Great place to get thai food. people are pretty hard to understand but its still great. they also have a take out menu. Great food services for anyone that likes thai.
A quaint little spot with limited seating. Food is good but takes a bit to come out. They will crank up the spice if you really want... The flaming options are always a fun little show, though maybe a bit overpriced.
It’s a very small place which is take out only. They have 2-3 tables you can eat your take out food at. My ratings are based on the food which is pretty good and flavorful. I like their soups and pad thai. My only issue is it was $15.95 for the small container pictured which is about 4x6”, so in my opinion a lot for the amount you get.

Food is great, service atrocious. Won't take phone order before stroke of noon, doesn't pick up the phone after noon, even if she does, complains she's too busy, puts the phone down, never picks it up again. Business tip: the customer is always right, if you're too busy to take all the orders coming in, you can make more money by hiring enough people to do the job. Our time is precious, especially lunch time. That's why we pay you. I won't bother trying to get lunch there again.
Very small portions for the price. One cup of rice with an order of green curry? You need to order multiple entrees. Okay food but there is better out there, especially for the price.
Sad to say that I been here numerous times never had a. issue food always top notch till today. I went for lunch with my son. Lunch specials come with spring roll and salad. The waitress asked if I wanted soup or salad. I ordered salad, and that was the first issue. The peanut dressing did not look or taste like normal peanut dressing and tasted horrible. The main course came which I always get here. Drunken noodles with chicken. My son got same only with beef. It tasted like sour chicken. Sauce was really off and not normal. My son said same with his. We both started feeling awful stomach bloat from over salted rancid tasting sauce. We got home both took turns being stuck on the bowl with violent diarrhea and horrible gas. Thank God got it out of my system but not feeling the best. WTF happened did they change cooks. Look I know it's a linch special but this was total garbage. come on your better than this. I'm in total shock a d wish I could get my money back. Can no longer reccomend this place after this
I have had bad experiences every time I have been here. The last time I had Red Noodles, but they didn't even bother to stir the noodles so the sauce would cover them all. And they never close when their official hours say (i.e. When they feel like closing). Who closes at 8:45? People who don't want customers, that's who. And if that's the case, how do you think the service will be?
Was there this week for my nephews birthday. They orderd a noodle dish with shrimp, it only had 3 shrimps the other one ordered it with meat could barely see the meat. Over priced for this area. Will not be returning again.
It's a sit down restaurant but, you don't get served in real plates. Instead we get served in take out containers. They do not bring the food to you, you have to get up and take it from a table that has a partition and the table is in the middle of the small restaurant. The food was alright, I expected better, portion of food was small. The best part was the curry puffs appetizers. As far as water since they are not using glasses or plates instead they give you a bottle of water and they charge you $2. For it. Truthfully I would not go back.

The food is good. The service sucks. If you want to order out don't order out from here. They need more than 1 idiot at the counter. Good service is as important as good food. The only good Thai place around here & the service sucks. Won't be coming here anymore.
The woman behind counter refuse to let us eat there because we were in work cloths ( construction ) even tho there was no one there. She said you wanted take out you cant stay and eat. Keep in mind the place was empty we would of been the only 2 people there. A week later i tryed to place a 11 meal order and pay with a card over the phone so our nephew could pick the food up on his way over and she said no you must come in and hung up so there goes that $200 plus order. Food is fantastic but customer service sucks.
I went there today at 2pm EST and my first time being there I felt as though I was being ignored. While the waitress is running around all over the place collecting dishes, wiping the dishes and servicing other customers, my request was simple, when I ordered 1 dish on to go, it took 5mins until I can finally have my order (the waitress/cashier was never courteous to mention the lunch specials for today or introduce the menu for MY first time there). She says 15mins, and while waiting those minutes, I helped myself to a seat, and while the place wasn't so packed, asking the waitress to try the Tom Kha soup took more than 5mins when she was walking around, cleaning the tables, putting them away.... I get it, she is the ONLY one on the floor, but really, where is the courtesy of letting the customer like myself know I am here willing to place another order while waiting patiently? It wasn't until when she's sorting out the dishes and 5mins of waiting for my other order, I began to rise up and ask for soup and sarcastically says 1min. There is a lack of communication for any customer waiting patiently for the order and asking her about placing my order as she walks around back and forth.... again, felt being ignored to the point my experience of being in this restaurant was NOT a positive experience. Secondly, the Tom Kha soup and the Curry green sauce with chicken were horrible. I felt as though the Tom Kha soup isn't rich, but watered down, like they heated up the coconut milk add a few spice and that's it.... the curry green sauce is another thing, it's sweet, spicy and watered down, again, I felt as though I am ordering a takeout from Chinese food where the quality of the curry does not keep me satisfied let alone the customer experience. I certainly hope that the direction of the restaurant can take this review seriously and try to overcome the challenges by slowing down and cater the people individually as well as upping the quality of the food. Catering the people individually would be to ask the customer to see how the food was and how the person can tell you what the foods are without having to rush, rush, RUSH!
