I went here for Taco Tuesday and it was great! I wolfed down 5 tacos and left happy and full. I recommend the carnitas and chicken. The servers were friendly and fast to refill chips and drinks.

Best Cucumber Margarita I 've ever had. I strongly recommend this beautiful restaurant for delicious Mexican food and Cocktails.

Best overall restaurant in town, especially if you’re looking for good Mexican food, good service, and a good drank. My favorite: the #44, breaded shrimp with rice, sautéed corn, salad, and flower tortillas. Wash it down with a cucumber margarita. I love that Mr. & Mrs Melgoza + family share a bit of their culture through food and service. Feels like home every time I go there ❤️ - they treat you like family.

Went on a Saturday afternoon it was not busy , our food was hot and fresh. Very tasty 🤤.

Authentic Mexican food! They have the best tacos for taco Tuesday and the service is great. You can't go wrong with the margaritas and chips and salsa. The kids seem to settle in once the food comes out. Two large TVs help when the big game is on the pricing is reasonable.

Always great service and really good food. Atmosphere is always good. Make you feel at home. We drive from Palmdale just to have lunch here. And always stop here on the way to Ventura. Topa Topa IPA is so good and the margaritas!! Don't believe any of the bad reviews. Not expensive at all. Very reasonable in price.

Vallarta is an old establishment in Fillmore that has been serving excellent food for decades. While it has an unassuming exterior, it's a cozy place inside with friendly staff. I personally really like their fish soup, but their sandwiches are also great. And they are famous for their Margaritas as well. I think it's in Fillmore, my favorite Mexican restaurant, highly recommended!

Love this spot everybody tells you to go towards this other place on the west side of town, but this is the place to be great service great food and most of all love the atmosphere

We LOVE it here! Just purchased a new home in Piru and someone recommended Vallarta and we're here at least once a week! We love the staff and the carne asada tacos are EVERYTHING!

Cadillac Margarita is on point! So many margaritas to choose from, and they're all delicious! We love this spot to grab a drink and share a meal while catching up with friends. Would be good if they remodeled the bathrooms...

Got pick up here. Reasonable prices and the burritos were large with tasty chicken. Simple though (rice, bean, meat).

A few years ago, I gave this place higher reviews. Unfortunately, this is not the case. This time, food was decent, but too high priced for what we got. I ordered albondigas and got 1 albondiga. Gone are the combo plates. Service was okay, but clearly, if you're not a regular, you are ignored Most likely, I will not go here anymore.

Like it because owner is really kind and sweet. Family works in the restaurant so the experience is fun. Busy on the weekends. Breakfast and salsas can be better. What they are famous for is their margaritas. Off the highway so it may be hard to find parking.

I will give this place a second try... my entree (chilaquiles with two fried eggs, refried beans and breakfast potatoes) was a bit too salty. But the portions were good, service was great, and I loved the colorful and inviting atmosphere.

We moved to Fillmore about 5 months ago and finally tried this place now we come here at least once or twice a week. Food is good, prices are decent, customer service is great and did I mention the margaritas are delicious! Not once have I had a bad experience. 2 days later....OMG what just happened!!! The first part of my review was all good then 2 days later I invite my parents and brothers for dinner come to find out the prices went up way up, our bill was over $200 and we didn't even order big meals. We each had a margarita so 7 total.I was so disappointed 😞...i use to come here twice a week not anymore! It was good while it lasted. Now to find a new restaurant...hard to do in this little town.

Nice place for a meal. A little on the noisy side. I had tacos. Delicious but they need to drain the meat before putting it into taco shells.

Noisy acoustics. Very slow, inattentive service. Hard to get drinks refilled. Okay food. Some items not in stock, though you are not told when ordering that dish... until it arrives missing items. Disappointing and uninspiring. Sad as we wanted it to be great.

The servers were friendly and polite. Our food was good but really greasy. We didn't finish our food so we took it home and while eating it found a sunflower seed inside the burrito someone should be fired for that.

Horrible service. Server was rude and causing the whole time. Our party got no silverware, napkins and some of our food was incomplete. S/o to josefina who came out of the kitchen to give us a much better service.

Rice was literally cold. Tortilla soup was pee color and obviously watered down and two long hairs in my chilli Verde. Good Cadillac Margarito though. I've had good meals there but who the hell is running it now?? Not going back again.

I went in for some ground beef tacos. They brought me these tiny little tacos. And they charged me $5 per taco. I ordered 3. Plus tax and tip. $20. Go somewhere else, don't throw your money away.

Everything was awful & not fresh. Very disappointed as my friend told me they were good before. Didn't like the vibe of people eating there now. Their margaritas were like smoothies with no alcohol. Think they've changed employees or something, but the ceviche was simply not fresh.

It took forever to receive our food!! Food was way too salty for my taste and not worth the price. Chips and salsa was okay. Won't be returning.

Staff was OK. Food was bland and super expensive. The waiter dumped soda on my daughter, nothing more than an apology and a couple of napkins. $92 for 3 burritos, 2 enchiladas and 5 drinks plus a mess on my daughter. Totally not worth it and we won't be back.

I grew in Fillmore, the food here was always good. NOT tonight is was horrible and the service was horrible.
