Finally got to try it after wanting for months. I ended up ordering from uber eats. The oat caramel macchiato was AMAZING. Cheese+beans pupusas, and chicken empanada were also really good. My only complaint is the packaging :( the uber driver was struggling cause the drink spilled all over the bag and I got my jeans stained as well. I also got my pupusas wrapped in aluminum foil instead of a container and I’m at work so I had to eat it out of the foil wrap :(. Definitely need more sturdy cups and at least paper plates for the food. Other than that I will definitely order from them again.
This cafe has it all- coffee, tea, and empanadas!! The flavors are high quality and delicious. I purchased a small iced matcha latte with oat milk, white chocolate and lavender. Honestly the best matcha latte I have ever had. It was rich with the matcha flavor and the barista there perfectly balanced the flavors I asked for so I could still taste the beautiful matcha. Everything was done amazingly to create the absolute best matcha I have ever tasted. Thank you Rivera Cafe USA, I will be coming back soon!!
Finally got to check this place out today!!! Outside and inside is such a cute setup with everything nicely on display and the door was wide open making us feel very welcomed into this cozy cafe. Very vast menu for such a small place with multiple flavors to add and plenty of dairy/nondairy options too! My son tried their strawberry lemonade and the pear juice as well. I had an iced caramel latte with skim milk which was fantastic 10/10! We took home two of their freshly made and packaged dessert treats which he's already been trying to devour all day. Main thing I noticed is the pricing here, extremely inexpensive for such great coffee!! I usually spend the same at my local Starbucks for half the items. Can't wait to try something new next time. Definitely recommend giving this local business a try one morning! OH and very family friendly, totally good to bring your little ones to!
I had heard so many nice things about Rivers Cafe USA so I went to try them. They certainly lived up to all the wonderful things I heard about them....and more. Abby and Gil the proprietors of the Rivers Cafe were so warm and welcoming as we entered for the first time. Abby invited us to try some of the free samples of the delicious cake they had. It was phenomenal. We ordered the Iced Caramel Lattes, along with a chocolate muffin and vanilla cookies. I especially liked how Gil took his time preparing our coffees to make sure everything was right. Both our coffees were off the chart delicious and I wish I could have gone back for a second coffee. Rivers Cafe USA is a very nice place to get your coffee and pastries. As a local, small and independently owned business, they thrive on making outstanding drinks, phenomenal cakes/cookies and providing top notch customer service. Please try them when you can. You will be super glad you did, especially if you are a super coffee lover like me. Highly recommended!
Small Place with lots to offer, from fresh coffee to bakery goods. Comfy area to meet and greet or do some work on your laptop. They take all types of payments; to make it convenient for the buyer. Parking is available on the street.
Friendly staff, didn't feel pressured to order a venti or anything too complicated . Surprisingly great flavor. Iced Caramel Macchiato Sweetness: not overwhelmingly sugary SHOP Local!!
This quaint Cafe pack a punch. From the friendly greeting & service of the owner who's behind the register, to the delicious coffee & treats to back it up. The fair trade coffee comes directly from the owners dad's farm in El Salvador. The papusa's are some of the best I've had. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a treat. You won't regret it!
We drove 5 miles for the coffee. Just because we found it in google. It was true. Here is the nice place. Service is incredible. The coffee ☕️ is great 👍. Nice music 🎶, warm place in frozen weather. Very happy experience.
Haven’t been to this place in a while and I’m happy I stopped by again. Place is nicely renovated and everything I ordered was SO good. A caramel latte with cinammon and oat milk and the tres leches were fantastic. Please go support these local businesses rather than big places like Starbucks. So much more authentic and owner is very friendly. Thank you!
Stumbled upon this gem one morning on my way to work and it’s become my main route ever since! Their coffee if smooth, rich in flavor, and organic. The coffee is imported from her fathers own coffee plantation in El Salvador so you know they handle their grains with love and care. They have authentic Salvadoran cookies with either pineapple or custard filling, very delicious!! Highly recommend. Pictured below is an iced macchiato with one pump of dark chocolate syrup and oat milk, though I must admit that there’s no need for added sugar, their coffee is smooth and delightful. Also pictured is their vanilla cookie -I’ve tried both, pineapple is definitely my favorite!
I went in with my brother, the environment felt like home. I absolutely loved it. The place was super clean and the drinks were incredible. We ordered 2 horchatas and we also brought 2 bags of their original coffee. The owner, Abby, was super sweet! She was incredibly warming and so was the other sweet lady with short hair and glasses. I definitely will be coming back more frequently. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Rivers!!
Starbucks has nothing on Rivers Cafe. This place is the gem of Long Island. Their coffee is ethically grown in El Salvador bringing bold & authentic flavors to each drink. Each delicious drink is served with AMAZING customer service. Abi and her staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. There’s also a variety of mouthwatering homemade pastries. If you’re not in a rush check out their new indoor seating bar and outdoor bistro tables. You can also sign up for their loyalty program and get cool perks! Rivers Cafe has me hooked for life!
Arguably the best coffee I’ve ever had in a cafe in America……1000/10! Having ventured in other cafes as well as being a daily Starbucks customer, I think I may have to break-up with them now I’ve found my new love haha. Seriously though, the owner is super hospitable and takes a lot of pride in her business, you can taste it in the coffee. I think they personally grow and procure their own coffee and teas which is the first place I ever heard of doing so. The prices are so inexpensive for the quality you’re receiving. We ordered a iced machiatto and iced chai (with espresso) as well as a slice of the tres leches cake (which was the best I’ve had, absolutely divine!). The location is a grab-n-go without seating and space-wise it’s smaller than average but a pleasure to visit nonetheless. They have a rewards card too. Can’t wait for my next visit, and count me a regular here :D highly highly recommended ^^ ~
Small cozy place, amazing customer service, food was great, ordered the brunch menu sunrise platter and the iced chai tea latte, it had the perfect amount of sweetness, the portion is great as well, would definitely recommend this place as a great takeout.
Great coffee and their service was very friendly! For those that love oat milk and almond milk, yes they serve that too for your drink. Aside from coffee and lattes, they also serve traditional Salvadoran pastries such as the quesadilla (the cheese pound cake, not to be confused with the Mexican quesadilla) and the semita de piña.

I have been waiting FOREVER for a legit family owned coffee shop to come to the neighborhood!!! I’m sick of chain coffee shops being inconsistent and bitter tasting. My go to drink is a regular iced latte. Well this is the best latte I’ve ever had..PERIOD. I did not need sugar!!!! Absolutely delish and robust. The flan is also to die for. The owners so sweet. There’s a rewards program that’s better than chain stores and the pricing is competitive!!! Ditch Dunkin and Starbucks and get legit home brewed coffee drinks! They also have deserts and other non coffee drinks like lemonade. Etc.
We found this place because a restaurant here in Amityville serves their coffee and we enjoyed it so much we make the trip to Floral park once or twice a month to load up on their incredible coffee. The young lady behind the counter today could not have been nicer and was super knowledgeable about the various beans. We got our usual El Salvadoran, and one of the Coconut flavoured, and the new Brazilian, both of which we haven't tried yet. If you are a coffee enthusiast and you care about the taste and quality of your brew, look no further and make the trip to Rivers Cafe USA! It's also nice to support a local family business offering a quality product.
Got a large hazelnut latte and it’s out of this world!!! I’ve never had a latte that’s so yummy but not overly sweet ! Haven’t tried the food yet but I’ll definitely be coming back ! The small coffee shop is very cozy !
I bought empanadas for Super Bowl. It came with instructions on how to cook, I followed them and they came out perfect. The crowd of people raved at how good they were. While picking them up I had a cup of coffee haven’t had a cup that good in a long time. The service was spectacular and friendly if you’re in the neighborhood give it a visit you won’t regret it.
First time going there and I will definitely be back. The owner was so nice and inviting and offered to make me fresh empanadas when they ran out. My iced coffee came out perfect. I will definitely be back.

I stopped by for a hot coffee with sugar free hazelnut.. omg, it was one of the best coffees I have had. Not too acidic, not bitter, very smooth and perfect. I came here 2 years ago and that time the place was still in early phases. Now it looks very welcoming. I will come back again to try other drinks.

Was walking home from a dental appointment and saw this quite little coffee shop and was amazed by finding a diamond in the rough. Great service and amazing coffee so many varieties reasonably priced. My favorite was matcha green tea latte. They also have loose leaves abs coffee beans to take home.
