So cozy can and delicious! ❤️
Really nice shop with great coffee!
1. Great coffee. 2. Great quality beans 3. Friendly owner 4. Skip Starbucks, it’s not even close in quality.
Delightful in every way. Warm smile and friendly greeting- advice and recommendations on what to try- great coffee. Am now stopping in whenever I'm in area.
Great coffee. Very impressed by the cappuccino. Had to buy the esspresso beans to use at home too.
The people working there were so nice, they even gave me a taste of each of the types of coffee, both very good.
I’m so glad I stopped in. The coffee is delicious and this small business is owned by the lovely Abby! I’ll be back every week!
Such amazing service & coffee every time and also for a great price 🥰🥰🥰. Love this latino owned business!
Amazing coffee shop with that local feel! Barista was so nice and makes amazing coffee!
The coffee is delicious and the owner is so personable and sweet. New favorite coffee spot!
Awesome coffee shop. I tried the cappuccino and the yellow honey coffee. And I loved that they prepared my coffee to my liking.
Great place and coffee. The drinks are always top notch and fresh and the staff are friendly and engaging
Best coffee and staff is super warm and friendly. Love having this in my neighborhood!
Excellent service and Coffee; this is the right spot to share a coffee and sweets with friends and family. It’s a must to stop by.
You gotta order any specialty coffee and you'll be amazed at the taste and with the quality.
Coffee is Amazing . This place has a very warm welcome . Thank God I found you 🫶🏾
Where to start? This cafe opened up during the pandemic, and has been a jewel ever since. The owners make an effort to get to know you, it almost feels like you live in a small town, not nyc. The coffee was great, and so needed for the cold weather we’ve been having. Thank you Rivers cafe! So glad we finally have a small business cafe in our area!
Rivers Cafe is literally the best coffee shop, ever! Abby and her staff go out of their way to make you feel like part of the family. Abby is an excellent barista, all of the drinks are delicious, and she truly cares about her customers. The ability to call or text in orders has been livesaving when I have a sleeping baby in the car - they’ll even bring your drinks out to you! This has been the coffee shop I needed in my life! My kids also love going here for their delicious juices and hot chocolate, and the quesadilla pound cake, plus a wonderful visit with their new friend, Abby! What amazing addition to our neighborhood, please go and support them!!! PS: Try the chai latte!!!
I only buy whole bean coffee, and this has been my go-to spot every since I found them. The Yellow Honey is my staple, and I always try a bag of whatever else looks good as well. Traditional Roast is my current 2nd place, with the Costa Rico blend 3rd place. I suggest trying them all!
This area of Long Island is a barren wasteland for quality coffee shops (unless you think Starbucks and Dunkin count). Thank god Rivers Cafe popped up. Real good coffee and espresso drinks and nice South American pastries. Not only that, but absolutely lovely staff. Please support this small business!
Best matcha latte I’ve had in all of New York. And the owner is so kind and friendly. This is the spot for your coffee !
The staff were both super nice and the coffee is delicious! I got a large iced latte and it was so good! They’re very affordable too. I will definitely go back!
Cute grab and go spot for a drink and and a snack. She does offer a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks. As for the coffee, I am generally very picky with my coffee and I brought home some beans from here and I will say the beans are very high quality and I will be making regular trips for my at home coffee needs!
Love Rivers Cafe. It’s a great addition to the neighborhood. Abby is amazing always happy and positive. Always welcoming to the customers. Love the latte’s and delicious variety treats the cafe has!
The best coffee in the area. Friendly and very welcoming owner. Place is so clean and cute. Reasonably priced. Must visit. If I can give them 10 stars I would. Gem
Every visit to Rivers for a latte, cappuccino, etc. has been great. Their coffee is always fresh and tastes great. The staff are so polite and friendly.
This place is a hidden gem. I loved the coffee I got, it was amazing!! They took time to make it personal and made sure I what I wanted. Super great, come check it out!! I finished my coffee in 2 minutes it was that good😂😂
Freshly brewed, best Columbian coffee in town, Owner is very polite, always welcoming. They own their family farm in Salvatore where they produce organic coffee ☕ MUST TRY !!
Super friendly barista behind the register, who customized my drink and made the small space feel comfortable. Will definitely return next time I'm in this area. If it's close by you definitely worth a stop.
Great coffee with an excellent personality coming from the gentleman who was there. This place is convenient and to the point, a fine brew in a perfect spot. Try it out for yourself! Support local business !
I was greeted by the owner and had a great conversation with her about specialty coffee. Passion, hospitality, and quality. What else can you ask for from a coffee shop?
Just visited to get drinks - iced red eye and iced mocha latte. The owner is pleasant and answered all my questions. The drinks are delicious! So glad we have a local cafe like this in town!
This place is the absolute best! The owner is so friendly, the workers are nice, the coffee is fabulous! They also have cakes and cookies that are delicious. I hope this place stays forever.
Great coffee and they even package their own pods to bring home to your single cup machine. My barista was super sweet and she made an awesome latte.
I love how the staffs are doing their job very well. The baristas also does their job well, The coffee that I ordered is so good. Highly recommended!
This place is a blessing. I’ve been looking for a spot that sells pumpkin spice all year round! It was so good, I had to go back and get another one immediately 🤤 I will definitely be coming back 🎃
This coffee is AMAZING!!! 😍😍 Abby and her staff are awesome and friendly! Service with a smile and such a cute spot
Really nice to have a small shop open. Coffee was very good and the price was so reasonable. Also bought a homemade vanilla cookie -- delicious!!! Great variety of products.
Great place with high-quality coffee and homemade baked goods. I wish they stayed open a little bit later than 2 pm and on Sundays.
One thing is for sure el Salvador 🇸🇻 has one of the best coffees in the world and rivers cafe USA is here to prove my point. come and taste it you won't be disappointed
Amazing flavor In the honey blend. Phenomenal, non portentous flavor. Off the charts cup of coffee without paying for frills and marketing and decoration. Just phenomenal coffee.
Wanted a nice cup of velvety not too sweet strong coffee! Found this gem and the Lady up front so sweet! Recommended a macchiato. Got the vanilla flavor and she made it perfect! So happy found another coffee spot that is worth the beans for your bucks! And service too!
Always love popping into this coffee shop! The owner Abby is the sweetest, her coffee is spectacular. Amazing empanadas and other snacks as well as delicious baked goods. You always need to grab a little treat with your coffee. Great spot, definitely worth a try!
Right now, I am in Rivers Café in New York, and one of the most incredible human beings I have ever met has just served me a black coffee with black sugar. The moment feels almost surreal. The music isn’t just playing in the background it’s breathing life into the space, weaving itself into the conversations, the soft clinking of cups, the quiet hum of the city just beyond the door. The atmosphere is perfect, like everything has fallen into place effortlessly. And then there’s her the girl who attended to me. She’s not just serving coffee; she’s carrying something intangible, something radiant. An energy that turns an ordinary moment into something unforgettable. It’s not just a café; it’s a feeling, a memory in the making.
My husband and I are coffee lovers and like to try new spots for coffee. We had heard of this spot for a few months now, and finally decided to take a trip to it. Oh boy! So worth it!!!! Authentic coffee straight from the beautiful El Salvador ❤️. The place is super cute! I love all the decor, you can really see how proud they are of their roots. The coffee though, WOW 🤩 so smooth and rich highly recommend. We will definitely be returning customers the drive is worth it. We both got the Iced caramel lattes! AMAZING!
Such a cute little spot! Can’t rate for food (I have celiac and was really just here for coffee but they use monin syrups which are gluten free) but the coffee was so good and the cashier (owner perhaps?) was so sweet! I got an iced soy latte with caramel syrup and white mocha drizzle. She even clarified if I wanted the caramel drizzle too or the syrup which was helpful. Locally owned and a really cute spot, would’ve loved to sit for a bit but had to go to work.
Small business but with huge coffee flavor. Not a place to hang has limited seating. I guess most people take to go because of parking. Owner is super sweet and makes your order with care. Coffee has the richness and authentic fresh roast flavor. Dont leave without an empanada if you get there early enough. Prices are not lower than anywhere else but worth it if you are a coffee person.
Love the green tropical tea. The coffee is amazing. I French press my coffee there traditional blend is wonderful. Top notch if you ask me. I also love there ice tea. I always get a large. The holiday boxes were amazing. The chocolate flan amazing. You can not go wrong. I am no longer local to floral park but travel 20 min to come here. Completely worth it every time.
On our way home from running errands, my son and I stopped in to check it out and get coffee. The Cafe has a pleasant look to it. The owner Abby is very friendly and nice to chat with. The prices are good, serving size is great for the price, and my iced caramel latte was delicious. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this neighborhood business. Good Luy Abby. 😊
Saw this place on google maps with great reviews so thought I’d give it a try. So grateful I did- the coffee was perfect. Just what I needed. I’m looking forward to trying their matcha latte. I love supporting a coffee shop like this. Love the quality here and prices are fair. Appreciated the genuine and kind service.
I always look for independent coffee shops in an area and it always pays off, especially in this case. Barista was warm & welcoming. Got an iced latte which is INCREDIBLY delicious. My diabetic father was also very happy that he was able to get a cappuccino with sugar-free syrup, which a lot of places tend to never hold. TLDR? I highly recommend stopping by for a coffee!
Their coffee if smooth, rich in flavor, and organic. Absolutely delish and robust. The flan is also to die for. The owners so sweet. There’s a rewards program that’s better than chain stores and the pricing is competitive. Also pictured is their vanilla cookie -I’ve tried both, pineapple is definitely my favorite! Each delicious drink is served with AMAZING customer service. Abi and her staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied.
Move Over Starbucks! Rivers Cafe has incredibly smooth farm to cup beans that have a beautiful balance of flavor. I love how the beans are grown by family in 🇸🇻 El Salvador. I like truth so I take my coffee ☕️ black. The taste of both the traditional bean and yellow honey are what I have been searching for. Cheers to many years of success in Floral Park! I highly recommend!
Family business. Super cute coffee shop and the best coffee I’ve ever had!! Many options such as non-dairy milk, and sugar free syrup. The owner/barista is so nice and friendly and makes the best coffees! :)
I had a Groupon to try this place. It's a tiny place but the owner makes each cup of coffee individually. They had some pastries but I chose the flan which my husband and I enjoyed very much. The coffee beans come from Central America. I enjoyed my cup of coffee and will come back again.
Fresh and delicious coffee and excellent service. Rivers Cafe USA is a treasure. I had been looking for a new coffee shop after my usual spot sadly, burned down. I have tried their latte and cappuccino. Their bakery items are tasty as well. Definitely recommend Rivers for the person who likes really good coffee.
What a wonderful way to start my morning! As soon as I walk into Rivers Cafe USA I am greeted with a genuine smile and attentiveness! I enjoy random chit chats with fellow coffee lovers and being able to also order Salvadoran delicacies! I highly recommended this coffee shop full of delicious drinks, food and so much Love!
I love the coffee here. It is amazing. The customer service is fantastic almost like ur family. She tries to remember what you like and nails it almost everytime. I love my coffee with oatmilk and agave so delicious. 😋
I've been going there since they first opened up and let me say, if I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Everyone there is so kind and they show excellent skills of professionalism, quality, and importantly pride they take in their business. From the iced lattes to fresh teas everything is made super fresh and tastes amazing. Also to mention they get all their coffee from ethical sources! Best coffee spot around.
Was walking by with my dog and decided to try this place out. The latte was amazing and the Salvadoran bread was a delight. Better, cheaper and less crowded than Starbucks! Will definitely be returning to check out more of their menu options.
The staff at Rivers Cafe are super friendly! I usually get my morning lattes from here and it tastes AMAZING! The coffee beans that they use brings out the taste in the drink. Floral park needed a place like this!
Barista was sweet and welcoming, they have a nice variety of coffee and tea. I had some homemade cookies that were delicious. FYI this is not a sit down place, there is no bathroom. Very small area so keep that in mind with social distancing. Will go back again.
I have been waiting FOREVER for a legit family owned coffee shop to come to the neighborhood!!! I’m sick of chain coffee shops being inconsistent and bitter tasting. My go to drink is a regular iced latte. Well this is the best latte I’ve ever had..PERIOD. I did not need sugar!!!! Absolutely delish and robust. The flan is also to die for. The owners so sweet. There’s a rewards program that’s better than chain stores and the pricing is competitive!!! Ditch Dunkin and Starbucks and get legit home brewed coffee drinks! They also have deserts and other non coffee drinks like lemonade. Etc.
I stopped by for a hot coffee with sugar free hazelnut.. omg, it was one of the best coffees I have had. Not too acidic, not bitter, very smooth and perfect. I came here 2 years ago and that time the place was still in early phases. Now it looks very welcoming. I will come back again to try other drinks.
Saw an atricle on my google and knew i HAD to try it. Just went there for the first time today and it is the cutest little place with the friendliest service!!! The flavor selection was amazing ... pumpkin spice "out of season" need i say more??? And the size of my macchiato for the price was well worth it. This definitely was not my last visit. <3 Thank you Abby!
I stopped by this morning for the first time for a caramel macchiato (for my mom) and matcha latte with almondmilk (for myself). Abby was so kind and asked how I liked my coffee and matcha. She was so welcoming and the coffee and matcha were so delicious. It's so nice to start your day with warm, kind energy and to top it off with the most perfect drinks. This was by far the best matcha and coffee I've had in this area. This will be my new morning go-to spot :-) So glad i found them! Thank you so much Abby! - Jessica (Also my mom loved the macchiato - she said it was perfect! In her words it was "way better than Starbucks").
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cozy spot with a friendly atmosphere and delicious hot chocolate! We were on the run this time but look forward to stopping in again soon.
Finally got to try it after wanting for months. I ended up ordering from uber eats. The oat caramel macchiato was AMAZING. Cheese+beans pupusas, and chicken empanada were also really good. My only complaint is the packaging :( the uber driver was struggling cause the drink spilled all over the bag and I got my jeans stained as well. I also got my pupusas wrapped in aluminum foil instead of a container and I’m at work so I had to eat it out of the foil wrap :(. Definitely need more sturdy cups and at least paper plates for the food. Other than that I will definitely order from them again.
This cafe has it all- coffee, tea, and empanadas!! The flavors are high quality and delicious. I purchased a small iced matcha latte with oat milk, white chocolate and lavender. Honestly the best matcha latte I have ever had. It was rich with the matcha flavor and the barista there perfectly balanced the flavors I asked for so I could still taste the beautiful matcha. Everything was done amazingly to create the absolute best matcha I have ever tasted. Thank you Rivera Cafe USA, I will be coming back soon!!
Finally got to check this place out today!!! Outside and inside is such a cute setup with everything nicely on display and the door was wide open making us feel very welcomed into this cozy cafe. Very vast menu for such a small place with multiple flavors to add and plenty of dairy/nondairy options too! My son tried their strawberry lemonade and the pear juice as well. I had an iced caramel latte with skim milk which was fantastic 10/10! We took home two of their freshly made and packaged dessert treats which he's already been trying to devour all day. Main thing I noticed is the pricing here, extremely inexpensive for such great coffee!! I usually spend the same at my local Starbucks for half the items. Can't wait to try something new next time. Definitely recommend giving this local business a try one morning! OH and very family friendly, totally good to bring your little ones to!
I had heard so many nice things about Rivers Cafe USA so I went to try them. They certainly lived up to all the wonderful things I heard about them....and more. Abby and Gil the proprietors of the Rivers Cafe were so warm and welcoming as we entered for the first time. Abby invited us to try some of the free samples of the delicious cake they had. It was phenomenal. We ordered the Iced Caramel Lattes, along with a chocolate muffin and vanilla cookies. I especially liked how Gil took his time preparing our coffees to make sure everything was right. Both our coffees were off the chart delicious and I wish I could have gone back for a second coffee. Rivers Cafe USA is a very nice place to get your coffee and pastries. As a local, small and independently owned business, they thrive on making outstanding drinks, phenomenal cakes/cookies and providing top notch customer service. Please try them when you can. You will be super glad you did, especially if you are a super coffee lover like me. Highly recommended!
Small Place with lots to offer, from fresh coffee to bakery goods. Comfy area to meet and greet or do some work on your laptop. They take all types of payments; to make it convenient for the buyer. Parking is available on the street.
Friendly staff, didn't feel pressured to order a venti or anything too complicated . Surprisingly great flavor. Iced Caramel Macchiato Sweetness: not overwhelmingly sugary SHOP Local!!
This quaint Cafe pack a punch. From the friendly greeting & service of the owner who's behind the register, to the delicious coffee & treats to back it up. The fair trade coffee comes directly from the owners dad's farm in El Salvador. The papusa's are some of the best I've had. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a treat. You won't regret it!
We drove 5 miles for the coffee. Just because we found it in google. It was true. Here is the nice place. Service is incredible. The coffee ☕️ is great 👍. Nice music 🎶, warm place in frozen weather. Very happy experience.
Haven’t been to this place in a while and I’m happy I stopped by again. Place is nicely renovated and everything I ordered was SO good. A caramel latte with cinammon and oat milk and the tres leches were fantastic. Please go support these local businesses rather than big places like Starbucks. So much more authentic and owner is very friendly. Thank you!
Stumbled upon this gem one morning on my way to work and it’s become my main route ever since! Their coffee if smooth, rich in flavor, and organic. The coffee is imported from her fathers own coffee plantation in El Salvador so you know they handle their grains with love and care. They have authentic Salvadoran cookies with either pineapple or custard filling, very delicious!! Highly recommend. Pictured below is an iced macchiato with one pump of dark chocolate syrup and oat milk, though I must admit that there’s no need for added sugar, their coffee is smooth and delightful. Also pictured is their vanilla cookie -I’ve tried both, pineapple is definitely my favorite!
I went in with my brother, the environment felt like home. I absolutely loved it. The place was super clean and the drinks were incredible. We ordered 2 horchatas and we also brought 2 bags of their original coffee. The owner, Abby, was super sweet! She was incredibly warming and so was the other sweet lady with short hair and glasses. I definitely will be coming back more frequently. I recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Rivers!!
Starbucks has nothing on Rivers Cafe. This place is the gem of Long Island. Their coffee is ethically grown in El Salvador bringing bold & authentic flavors to each drink. Each delicious drink is served with AMAZING customer service. Abi and her staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. There’s also a variety of mouthwatering homemade pastries. If you’re not in a rush check out their new indoor seating bar and outdoor bistro tables. You can also sign up for their loyalty program and get cool perks! Rivers Cafe has me hooked for life!
Arguably the best coffee I’ve ever had in a cafe in America……1000/10! Having ventured in other cafes as well as being a daily Starbucks customer, I think I may have to break-up with them now I’ve found my new love haha. Seriously though, the owner is super hospitable and takes a lot of pride in her business, you can taste it in the coffee. I think they personally grow and procure their own coffee and teas which is the first place I ever heard of doing so. The prices are so inexpensive for the quality you’re receiving. We ordered a iced machiatto and iced chai (with espresso) as well as a slice of the tres leches cake (which was the best I’ve had, absolutely divine!). The location is a grab-n-go without seating and space-wise it’s smaller than average but a pleasure to visit nonetheless. They have a rewards card too. Can’t wait for my next visit, and count me a regular here :D highly highly recommended ^^ ~
Small cozy place, amazing customer service, food was great, ordered the brunch menu sunrise platter and the iced chai tea latte, it had the perfect amount of sweetness, the portion is great as well, would definitely recommend this place as a great takeout.
Great coffee and their service was very friendly! For those that love oat milk and almond milk, yes they serve that too for your drink. Aside from coffee and lattes, they also serve traditional Salvadoran pastries such as the quesadilla (the cheese pound cake, not to be confused with the Mexican quesadilla) and the semita de piña.

We found this place because a restaurant here in Amityville serves their coffee and we enjoyed it so much we make the trip to Floral park once or twice a month to load up on their incredible coffee. The young lady behind the counter today could not have been nicer and was super knowledgeable about the various beans. We got our usual El Salvadoran, and one of the Coconut flavoured, and the new Brazilian, both of which we haven't tried yet. If you are a coffee enthusiast and you care about the taste and quality of your brew, look no further and make the trip to Rivers Cafe USA! It's also nice to support a local family business offering a quality product.
Got a large hazelnut latte and it’s out of this world!!! I’ve never had a latte that’s so yummy but not overly sweet ! Haven’t tried the food yet but I’ll definitely be coming back ! The small coffee shop is very cozy !
I bought empanadas for Super Bowl. It came with instructions on how to cook, I followed them and they came out perfect. The crowd of people raved at how good they were. While picking them up I had a cup of coffee haven’t had a cup that good in a long time. The service was spectacular and friendly if you’re in the neighborhood give it a visit you won’t regret it.
First time going there and I will definitely be back. The owner was so nice and inviting and offered to make me fresh empanadas when they ran out. My iced coffee came out perfect. I will definitely be back.

Was walking home from a dental appointment and saw this quite little coffee shop and was amazed by finding a diamond in the rough. Great service and amazing coffee so many varieties reasonably priced. My favorite was matcha green tea latte. They also have loose leaves abs coffee beans to take home.

The Café appears friendly and welcoming. The coffee is mid. I would highly recommend Family Bagels 2 store fronts down. Way better coffee and fresher food!
I did not enjoy my latte at all. It tasted like water and I couldn't taste the vanilla flavor or the espresso at all. I do NOT recommend this cafe
If you’re looking for bland coffee and a personal swarm of flies to accompany you while you sip disappointment, this is the place for you. Regret that’s all I have
