Mohammad is a good brother, treated us like family and we always love the delicious food, especially our favorite lamb & chicken kebab over rice, with salad. It is really fresh, tender chicken & lamb. The white & green sauces go perfect with the rice, salad and the perfectly cooked meats. I really like the seating, in the booths, nice read leather look and high quality black with gold streaks-design tops of the dining tables, and nice thin brick wall & beautiful photo/murial-of our New York City on the other main wall! I highly recommend here! - Sid

Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and outstanding service! Maaz was friendly, and so great with our kids — he even surprised them with candies, which completely made their day! It's rare to find service this genuine and thoughtful. We'll definitely be coming back soon and asking for Maaz again! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and even better service.
I came in yesterday and had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. A big shoutout to Maaz he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was served just right. Excellent service from start to finish!
I ordered ahead to stay and eat they seated me right away and brought my food out. Service was excellent and the food brought back childhood memories. I love this place the new management did a great job. Decor seating and the overall atmosphere is so nice and calming. They have such a wide variety of foods that makes me want to come back and try everything on the menu.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, communication was clear and timely, and the attention to detail truly stood out. It’s rare to find this level of professionalism and genuine care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and reliability—you won’t be disappointed!
Had so much fun with my friends today. Went here because I heard they renovated and had a Grand re-opening and they must have spent a dime because this place is completely different. Completely new atmosphere, this place looks so elegant and fancy. Great food and they even gave free traditional pakistani sweets (im guessing it was for the re-opening)
I LOVE SEEING, GOING TO AND EATJNG AT ZABIHA HALAL RESTAURANTS. Tried a few items and the freshness was amazing. Parking is easily available. Cozy and comfortable seating area. Great witb privacy area for families. Kebabs were juicy. Rice were well cooked and finished with green tea (which should be complimentary like many other restaurants who provide either complimentary bread or tea) it wiuld be a nice change, not an expensive option at all.
The food was flavorful and good in quality, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price, it was way too expensive. The service was terrible: no utensils, no sauces, and zero attention to customers. The place was practically empty, except for a few high school kids hanging around.
I am so upset… I give them 3 stars because I used to come here all the time and it was my favorite. Last time I came, I ordered a Sicilian slice and the dough was still raw. I realized because the pizza was so chewy and sticky in my mouth. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it could have been just a simple mistake or because the Sicilian slice is usually thicker than usual. Nope.. I came back and got a regular slice and the dough is still raw. I’m literally able to pull on it. It’s not the cheese because I take off the cheese on my pizza. Not happy at all. I also asked to use the restroom, and there was poop stains all over the toilet. I took a picture of the bathroom because it was BEAUTIFUL before I realized how dirty it was. Absolutely disgusting.
I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years, ever since the original Afghan owners ran the place, and I’ve stayed loyal all this time. But today will officially be my last visit. From the moment I walked in, it was the most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had. I was greeted by this guy aggressively saying, “Make sure you’re walking on the carpet, not the floor.” Ummm… okay? Then I asked for a chicken cheeseburger, and he kept insisting I meant a Zinger burger — which turned out to be wrong. He also had a really difficult time understanding me. I had to repeat myself three times, and instead of trying to listen, he looked frustrated with me like it was my fault he couldn’t understand. To make it worse, he was making pizza dough with his hands while touching his phone — which was just nasty to see. Everything he said came off aggressive. When I went to grab a soda for my combo, he said, “Make sure it’s a cheap soda from the right side, not the left.” Then when I asked for the bathroom key, he handed it to me harshly and said, “Make sure I get it back.” Like, what am I gonna do with a key?? And when I went to grab a drink for my dad, he yelled, “HEY, make sure you pay for that!” What happened to this place? I got the wrong food because of this guy’s “helpful” suggestion. Terrible experience — and I’ve been coming here since I was in high school Replying: Yeah you’re suppose to have certain manners when you’re in the restaurant business. It’s “Try to stay on the carpet please we don’t want you to slip” not “Make sure you’re walking on the carpet, not the floor” Also I’ve never had the cashier tell me out loud to make sure I get a cheap soda. I’ve been getting combos from this place since highschool and I’m a 26 year old man now. In addition he told me for certain I was talking about the zinger burger when I said the chicken cheese burger with koofta meat. You need to do something with this grumpy old worker
I used to come here for tasty Afghani food, as well as pizza and burgers; several years ago I remember the food being fresh and delicious. Remembering these very old experiences, I came back but found out that the old management moved out to Albany and this restaurant now has new management. Unfortunately, the experience here is now completely different. We came about an hour before close time and were told that the chef already left so the only thing available is pizza (we were told intially that some other items are also available but as we inquired further they were not able to prepare any of the requested items. They didn't even have hummus and bread). It was pretty disappointing since we drove about thirty minutes to get there, expecting to be able to pick at least a few items they claimed to serve on their menu. We ordered three slices of the chicken pizza. The worker heated up the slices and then dropped one of them on the floor. The pizza looked like it had been out for quite some time; it was so hard that the worker struggled to cut them into separate slices. It was extremely salty and not fresh. To add insult to injury, they charged over 4 dollars for each chicken slice. The restaurant's new management is totally unprofessional and either does not respect customers or is just too incompetent to fulfill the basic needs of customers; I cannot think of any other explanation for the terrible service and poor quality. It is such a shame that what was once a great restaurant with such tasty food is not even a shell of its old self due to the new management. We were given some sweets on the house before we left but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the terrible experiences we have had with the new management.
