Restaurant was super clean, waited about 15min for the food to be cooked, desserts were very tasty and fresh and the service by the kind young lady at the counter was refreshing.
Muhammad Hassan is doing very good keep hem✅❤️ he is the best
I had the food today (lamb chops + mixed gyro) and it was very fresh and delicious. Very generous portions too. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service and quality are A+
Muhammad served us very well. He was the best, would come back again. #1 food
I came here with my friends for iftar and had the best experience ever. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting! Can’t wait to visit again soon.
The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the warm atmosphere made it a perfect dining experience.
Great environment! What a change from the previous management. Quality & taste of kababs, tikka & lamb chops was excellent. Improvement in customer service… what else you want. Will definitely come again
Just had the food from this restaurant earlier today and I was very impressed with the portions and quality of the meal. My family also mentioned the flavor and meat of the tikkas & koftas were tender and flavorful. At pickup, I was told that new management had taken over and that the meat is certified zabiha halal.
Hi, I had food from New Area Kebab, it was very good. The workers here are very nice. Okay, and the food is delicious. Okay, come and try it. You will enjoy it.
Very good experience people are very friendly and food has good quality my favourite is chicken cheesesteak and samosa I definitely recommend
Amazing service and all the meats were very juicy. Highly recommend!
Great place. Happy with the services❤️❤️
The food at Aria Kabab is absolutely delicious. The service is top-notch. New management is really attentive, working seamlessly to create a great dining experience.
Very big food selection here and quality food, you can tell they take their time and effort with everything they serve. Portions are big which is great since you get your moneys worth, especially the family combos are a great deal. Staff is very friendly which ultimately makes me feel welcome whenever I order from there. Keep up what you’re doing and making amazing food!
The food is SO good!! And their pizza is AMaZING. They also have very tasty bread that you can buy whole. Faisal khan is my favorite. He's so nice and friendly. Definitely recommend to try their food :)
During my visit to Aria Khabab Restaurant, I had a really good time. The person helping us, Faizal Khan, was funny and nice, even joking that he was Shahrukh Khan's brother. We ordered right when they opened for teachers lunch, and they were very polite and quick to take our order. The food was delicious, and everything came on time. I want to thank them for being so nice and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience! And I will always order from them now on. I hope you guys keep going & always stay like this. May Allah bless you. Jazakhallah khairan.
Best Chicken Kofta I've ever had. The rice was so soft and flavorful and same with the meat! The pizza has also improved greatly, it's thick and moist and very flavorful! Overall, I love this place and it's halal certified by the SBNY! I'll definitely be dining here a lot more in the near future!
I will recommend because I dropped something valuable and in stead of taking it they get it back and I love the food please come!!!
Probably 1 of the best and cleanest restaurants, especially the best chicken Tikka over rice in NYC
I love the new Aria Kabab! The food was delicious and Muhammad was very respectful and kind while serving us. He asked where each of us is from and the service was prompt. 10/10 would come back with my family!
The place is an amazing spot; Mohamed specifically served us and he gave us complimentary dessert, drinks and was very social with us! Definitely go if you can 12/10
Great food, great service, beautiful ambience. Must be on your to do list!!!!
Restaurant was clean. Buffalo chicken pizza was fresh and tasty as well as the rice platter! Will be back again!
Ambience and the Food is very nice. Girl who served me was so polite and she is so kind. Love there pizzas and kebabs. Must try this restaurant. So clean and neat.
This was my first visit and I was impressed with how spotlessly clean this restaurant is! The food was absolutely delicious and the lady behind the counter was so sweet and friendly. I will definitely become a steady customer!

Genuinely, one of the best halal pizzas I ever had. I can’t stop coming back here, and would recommend their food! Wonderful staff and amazing atmosphere ⭐️
Customer service was amazing, the guy up from Muhammad Hassan was very polite and the food is amazing
I went last night with my friends for their grand reopening. The new management made the atmosphere much nicer, while also raising the food and service quality. My favorite part was the halal pepperoni pizza, probably the best I've had in the city. Would highly recommend to everyone.
great spot with top-notch service, staff are super friendly and attentive, always make you feel welcomed and valued
We were group of 5. Tried lamb chop, wings. Was great. Milk shake and milk just nailed over everything.
This is the best place in nyc Muhammad Hassan is the best worker there give him a tip
Mohammed Hassan is the best of the best and he should get paid more
Amazing staff and food! I usually go for eats with friends but recently had catered with them for an event. Br. Zaman was super helpful and patient throughout the entire process. He gave me a great price for the big order along with him and his staff helping pack the boxes and loading it into the car. Overall, great experience in every way and definitely looking forward to coming back for regular eats and catering as well!
A Culinary Delight of Afghan Flavors at Aria Kabab I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aria Kabab, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. Nestled in a cozy corner, this restaurant specializes in Afghani cuisine that will leave your taste buds craving for more. The variety of dishes offered at Aria Kabab is truly impressive. From the succulent Beef Kofta to the flavorful Chicken Kababs, and the tantalizing Beef Tikka, each dish was prepared with finesse and authenticity. The platters they serve are a treat for both the eyes and the palate. The Halal Chicken over Rice and Lamb over Rice were particularly outstanding, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. To top off the fantastic meal, Aria Kabab offers an array of delightful desserts. The Baklava, Gulab Jamun, and Tres Leches Cake are heavenly indulgences that will satisfy any sweet tooth. However, the Phirney Bowl dessert deserves special mention; it is simply to die for. The perfect combination of flavors and textures will leave you in awe. One aspect that truly impressed me about Aria Kabab is their commitment to quality and authenticity. They proudly display their 100% HMS certification, assuring customers of their halal standards. This attention to detail is commendable and adds to the overall dining experience. The restaurant's drink menu is also worth mentioning. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing Mango Lassi or any of their cold and fresh drinks, Aria Kabab has got you covered. The ambience at Aria Kabab is warm and inviting, with attentive staff who provide excellent service throughout your visit. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere makes Aria Kabab a top choice for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Aria Kabab to all food enthusiasts who appreciate the rich flavors of Afghan cuisine. Prepare to embark on a culinary journey that will leave you longing for your next visit.
It's an excellent place! I have been here few times and everything is soo great and neat! The kebabs are really tasty and fresh. Service is good. A few weeks ago while i was there a man was extremely rude probably was the customer but they handled it so well. Nice atmosphere.
after the renovation this likes a new place loved the vibe i enjoy going there with friends and the food is so delicious would definitely recommend going here
One of the best Afghan kabab restaurants i’ve been too. It’s literally a hole in the wall! The kabab’s were fresh tender and juicy. The rice especially is very delicious and flavorfull. Along with the oven made roghani bread. Affordable prices for the amount. Do come and try with friends and family. Highly recommend it!
I visited from Miami and try the food at aria kabab house ! The food is most delicious and great hospitality! Must try the wraps and pizza , very delicious! Danish bahi is very friendly , services is outstanding 👍👍
The pizza is really good! Muhammad has really nice and was quick with our order! Hope to come back with my friends again😄
Yo the front workers Mohammad Hassan is very nice at working, I suggest he stays and prosperes in this props to him! Love the service 10/10
Did lunch yesterday Food was amazing. Beyond expectations. Friendly staff The owner himself is a wonderful guy. Had a beef cheese beef burger with pizza on he side Definitely will recommend to try out
I ordered the chicken and beef tikka platter. Food was amazing and Mohammed Hasan at the register was a very nice guy
Good atmosphere, food is well cooked. I had the chicken and the lamb kabob with rice and a side of veggies with peta bread. Rice is nicely cooked and they will bring the food to you while you rest on the table. The boss who works there is super friendly with customers and treats customers like friends. I would recommended this place.
Very good food make more better and the customer service like the cashier Mohammad Hassan is the best
The new owners at Aria Kabab (NY Halal Grill) have done a fantastic job. The restaurant looks amazing, and I appreciate how clean and tidy it is. I had the chance to try the pizza today, and it was exceptional. I would definitely recommend it, and I plan to return soon to try more items on the menu.
The new renovated Aria Kebab is great addition to the area with their variety of pizza toppings and creative Afghan and Middle Eastern Dishes on their menu patrons can expect good service from employees who care about the food. Besides the food the drinks range from Indian Soda”s like Thums Up to the ever popular Salam Cola for those wanting an alternative to the Coca Cola and Pepsi Duopoly. The ambience of the restaurant is also spectacular with comfortable seats and lively setting. This is leg up form the original Aria Kebab I wish the owners and employees years of successes with their operation.
I love the Pizza there. It is always nice and crispy.A lot of pizza places doesn't make it like that no more. Pizza chef with red jacket always greets me with a hello , how i'm doing I love the positivity. The entire Staff is so cool there customer services always on point.
Great owner, service, and customer treatment. Highly recommend especially for catering. Very accomodating. On top of it kind, respectful, and cares about food quality. If you care about punctuality, quality, and flexibility - this is the place!
Had a great experience at Aria Kabab! The food was fresh and flavorful, and the service was excellent. Muhammad Hassan was very kind and attentive made the visit even better. Definitely recommend!
Mohammad is a good brother, treated us like family and we always love the delicious food, especially our favorite lamb & chicken kebab over rice, with salad. It is really fresh, tender chicken & lamb. The white & green sauces go perfect with the rice, salad and the perfectly cooked meats. I really like the seating, in the booths, nice read leather look and high quality black with gold streaks-design tops of the dining tables, and nice thin brick wall & beautiful photo/murial-of our New York City on the other main wall! I highly recommend here! - Sid

Excellent food, warm atmosphere, and outstanding service! Maaz was friendly, and so great with our kids — he even surprised them with candies, which completely made their day! It's rare to find service this genuine and thoughtful. We'll definitely be coming back soon and asking for Maaz again! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and even better service.
I came in yesterday and had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. A big shoutout to Maaz he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was served just right. Excellent service from start to finish!
I ordered ahead to stay and eat they seated me right away and brought my food out. Service was excellent and the food brought back childhood memories. I love this place the new management did a great job. Decor seating and the overall atmosphere is so nice and calming. They have such a wide variety of foods that makes me want to come back and try everything on the menu.
I couldn’t be happier with my experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, communication was clear and timely, and the attention to detail truly stood out. It’s rare to find this level of professionalism and genuine care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality and reliability—you won’t be disappointed!
Had so much fun with my friends today. Went here because I heard they renovated and had a Grand re-opening and they must have spent a dime because this place is completely different. Completely new atmosphere, this place looks so elegant and fancy. Great food and they even gave free traditional pakistani sweets (im guessing it was for the re-opening)
Really amazing kebabs. I took the lamb chops and chikken tikka platter and it was pretty good. The portion size was adequate as well.
I LOVE SEEING, GOING TO AND EATJNG AT ZABIHA HALAL RESTAURANTS. Tried a few items and the freshness was amazing. Parking is easily available. Cozy and comfortable seating area. Great witb privacy area for families. Kebabs were juicy. Rice were well cooked and finished with green tea (which should be complimentary like many other restaurants who provide either complimentary bread or tea) it wiuld be a nice change, not an expensive option at all.
The food was flavorful and good in quality, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price, it was way too expensive. The service was terrible: no utensils, no sauces, and zero attention to customers. The place was practically empty, except for a few high school kids hanging around.
I am so upset… I give them 3 stars because I used to come here all the time and it was my favorite. Last time I came, I ordered a Sicilian slice and the dough was still raw. I realized because the pizza was so chewy and sticky in my mouth. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it could have been just a simple mistake or because the Sicilian slice is usually thicker than usual. Nope.. I came back and got a regular slice and the dough is still raw. I’m literally able to pull on it. It’s not the cheese because I take off the cheese on my pizza. Not happy at all. I also asked to use the restroom, and there was poop stains all over the toilet. I took a picture of the bathroom because it was BEAUTIFUL before I realized how dirty it was. Absolutely disgusting.
I came in just to grab a chicken slice, nothing complicated. But the whole vibe in this place? Rushed, and like they couldn’t care less if I was there or not. No “hey, how’s it going” just a dead stare and a “next.” I get that it’s busy, but being polite doesn’t cost extra. Food was okay, but the energy in there made me want to just grab my stuff and leave as fast as possible. It’s like you’re bothering them by being a customer. No warmth, no welcome — just a transaction. If you’re someone who actually values being treated like a human when you’re spending your money, just know what you’re walking into.
Stopped in for some rice and chicken and decided to dine in, thinking I’d take a break and enjoy the meal. But honestly, from the second I walked in, I felt like I was in the way more than I was welcome. The staff barely acknowledged me — no greeting, no smile, just a vibe like they were doing me a favor by letting me order.
Food was raw chicken kofta wasn’t cooked properly food took 45 mins to come and they forgot my task. And carrots don’t come back ever again waste of money and food couldn’t finesh
The way they were serving food, wasn't hygienic. The Asian guy with glass who made my pizza it was not cooked even properly. I saw he was using his left hand on the food and no gloves on his hand. Some people ordered the food and wait on their seat. They don't see properly how they are serving. How he can touch someone's food by the left hand!!! Even i see another guy he was cleaning the table by spray and wiping by cloths, right after cleaning without changing gloves he is servings food. Sorry to say I will never be there.
I came here for the first time with my friends and this dude with the long beard(probably pakistani) after 10 minutes to decide what we gon order…he goes like “we only got pizza” and had like a slight attitude. WHY MAKE US 10 MINUTES IF PIZZA WAS THE ONLY THING LEFT?!? And no APOLOGIES TOO!!!
I came in trying to order the ramadan special chicken over rice which was $8. when the total came up it was above $10 + tax. i asked him why he added 2 dollars and hes saying thts the tax. horrible costumer service
The most disgusting kabobs I have ever eaten, I don’t know if it was old or what. The outside texture is hard and rubbery it felt like it was either over cooked or fried after being grilled. The rice was in big clumps. I will never eat here again or recommend it to anyone not worth the money
These people selling uncooked food today, I bought pepperoni wheel , inside the pepperoni wheel pepperonis are uncooked and you will clearly see the totally uncooked dough inside of it, this is totally unhealthy no good for stomach, I don't know how they sell uncooked stuff without making it sure that food is well cooked and healthy and good for serving, it can be like a food poisoning ,I hope they gonna read this complaint and will show that are responsible food vendor
Buffalo Chicken pie tasted off, like it wasn’t fresh. Overly strong seasoning trying to cover it up. Very disappointed."
I don't recommend this restaurant..soda more expensive than world 😀3 doller plus tax proximate 4 doller next door soda is 1:50 cent , chicken over rice 15 doller . I told the cashier nobody sell in America 3 doller plus tax soda he said but we do..my advise to New customers Evan don't think to come this location to buy anything..
They need real chef/and someone on front for cashier always giving stuff short food is way too regular dry tasteless . If you’re foodie you know what it is .but yeah it is better than gyro kart.
03/05/2026. As I was driving to home and feeling hungry, I asked Google to pick an Afghani restaurant on the way. It picked New Aria Kabab house. Never ever tried it before. So I ordered Chicken Tika / Chicken Kofta to take out. The food tasted terrible. The chicken meet was completely dried and looked like it was heated up more than once. Or it may have been sitting in the cold storage for too long. I spent $16 bucks and the food looked and tasted old. Wasted my time, money, and lost my appetite. I called and complained, even though the guy said he will refund the money. But not serving the right in the first place will always have a bad taste in my mouth. I will not go to New Aria Kabab house ever again for bad food and so much inconvenience. Shahid Diwan
I always eat here and it’s always great. But I’m GIVING ONE STAR because of the rude brother who was working there on 1/15 @ 10:30 PM. We walked in reading the menu for 10 min and he didn’t mention that the kitchen is closed. It was a brother with a patchy beard, medium build. If the owners are reading this, please speak with him on this. JazakumAllah khair
I ordered an 18" cheese pizza. Mind you, Ive been ordering it weekly for the past 2 months. Today the pizza cheese had dark splotches on it. Looked like they reheated a pizza and burnt the cheese. I called the restaurant and stated this and this guy has the audacity to tell me this is how hes been baking the pizza for the past 2 months. I would've complained sooner if this was the problem. He wouldnt admit he had given a stale pizza and gave me attitude. Thyve lost a customer and got a review with their shitty customer service.
I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years, ever since the original Afghan owners ran the place, and I’ve stayed loyal all this time. But today will officially be my last visit. From the moment I walked in, it was the most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had. I was greeted by this guy aggressively saying, “Make sure you’re walking on the carpet, not the floor.” Ummm… okay? Then I asked for a chicken cheeseburger, and he kept insisting I meant a Zinger burger — which turned out to be wrong. He also had a really difficult time understanding me. I had to repeat myself three times, and instead of trying to listen, he looked frustrated with me like it was my fault he couldn’t understand. To make it worse, he was making pizza dough with his hands while touching his phone — which was just nasty to see. Everything he said came off aggressive. When I went to grab a soda for my combo, he said, “Make sure it’s a cheap soda from the right side, not the left.” Then when I asked for the bathroom key, he handed it to me harshly and said, “Make sure I get it back.” Like, what am I gonna do with a key?? And when I went to grab a drink for my dad, he yelled, “HEY, make sure you pay for that!” What happened to this place? I got the wrong food because of this guy’s “helpful” suggestion. Terrible experience — and I’ve been coming here since I was in high school Replying: Yeah you’re suppose to have certain manners when you’re in the restaurant business. It’s “Try to stay on the carpet please we don’t want you to slip” not “Make sure you’re walking on the carpet, not the floor” Also I’ve never had the cashier tell me out loud to make sure I get a cheap soda. I’ve been getting combos from this place since highschool and I’m a 26 year old man now. In addition he told me for certain I was talking about the zinger burger when I said the chicken cheese burger with koofta meat. You need to do something with this grumpy old worker
I used to come here for tasty Afghani food, as well as pizza and burgers; several years ago I remember the food being fresh and delicious. Remembering these very old experiences, I came back but found out that the old management moved out to Albany and this restaurant now has new management. Unfortunately, the experience here is now completely different. We came about an hour before close time and were told that the chef already left so the only thing available is pizza (we were told intially that some other items are also available but as we inquired further they were not able to prepare any of the requested items. They didn't even have hummus and bread). It was pretty disappointing since we drove about thirty minutes to get there, expecting to be able to pick at least a few items they claimed to serve on their menu. We ordered three slices of the chicken pizza. The worker heated up the slices and then dropped one of them on the floor. The pizza looked like it had been out for quite some time; it was so hard that the worker struggled to cut them into separate slices. It was extremely salty and not fresh. To add insult to injury, they charged over 4 dollars for each chicken slice. The restaurant's new management is totally unprofessional and either does not respect customers or is just too incompetent to fulfill the basic needs of customers; I cannot think of any other explanation for the terrible service and poor quality. It is such a shame that what was once a great restaurant with such tasty food is not even a shell of its old self due to the new management. We were given some sweets on the house before we left but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the terrible experiences we have had with the new management.
