This restaurant was recommended by some locals and was a pleasant little surprise. Dug gave fast friendly service and recommendations. The food came out fast and hot during the lunch rush. Pizza was very good, Garlic cheesy bread was some of the best I've ever had, a definite must have. If you find your self in Foley, or at the OWA find The Brick Oven. You won't regret it.
Great pizza place. Always thankful for local business that make chain franchises avoidable like a plague. Crust and ingredients were fantastic. And the brick oven imparts such a delicious flavor on the crust.
Highly recommend the meatballs and pizza — both were fresh and the portions were generous. The sauce was amazing and really brought everything together. Great service was provided by Jenn, who was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!
Me and my family vist mostly every holiday to visit our Grandparents. Everytime we are down here, we love trying new things. But, we visited the Brick oven last time we were down here, and enjoyed every bit of it. We decided to return for a 2nd time and it was Even better! Me and my dad got the Brick oven. It is a spicy pizza with cheese, pepperoni's, italian sausage, chopped and grilled. Red peppers, spicy tomato sauce, and much more! I would definitely recommend it if you are into spice, and can stand some heat! The service was great, our Server was very friendly and even gave us a warning if we could handle the spice. Thank you Brick Oven, for the amazing food, service, and wonderful atmosphere.
Absolutely delicious! The entire family enjoyed the pizza. The wife and I split a large"Brick Oven" pizza- pineapple on her half only. That pizza was the best pizza I've ever had, I even enjoyed a slice of her half that had the pineapple and let me tell you, next time I'll get pineapple on the whole thing. I've never liked pineapple on pizza but the slight sweetness of the pineapple along with the spiciness of the pizza was perfect. We visit family here every 3 months or so and this place is now on our list of places we go as a family every time we come down. Edit for 12/26/2025. We came back. Food was just as good. Didn't see the owner this time but obviously he has built confidence in the team that runs things when he's actually getting a moment with his family. He should hold them tight knowing the team he developed did an amazing job. Props to your team sir. It was perfection
By far my favorite pizza place in Foley! My husband and I eat here frequently, and our favorite is the Specialty Cheese. It has five different cheeses! We also like to get it well done so its extra crispy. The beer is ice cold, and my favorite dessert is the cheesecake. We go during lunch time and it isn't too crowded. Service is top notch and I highly recommend you stop by if you haven't already!
The Best pizza I’ve ever had!!!! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. This GA couple will mostly definitely be back next year. Please don’t change a thing. Thank you so much!!!! 😊
Our party of 8 was looking for a solid meal after a day of shopping so we got on Google and appreciated the reviews for The Brick Oven. Well, from the moment we walked in, Doug greeted us with such kindness and warmth we felt right at home! He helped us order the perfect amount of food, kept our drinks refilled, made our kids crack up and recommended Lava Bread, which you shouldn’t pass up! Our food came out super fast and we all left full and happy. Thank you to The Brick Oven and Doug! We highly recommend this spot!
Some of the best pizza in the area. Sat down for dinner and got instant, friendly service. I ordered the Brick Oven pizza. The pizza didn't take long to be brought out. It was hot, fresh and really tasty. I especially loved the thin, crispy and crunchy crust it has great bite. The brick oven baking makes a big difference in the quality of taste and crust. If you want some of the best pizza in Foley, check this place out. It didn't disappoint me.
A few days ago we grabbed a pie and a calzone from The Brick Oven. We were very impressed!!! The crust had that perfect balance of chewy and crispy, and the toppings tasted fresh and flavorful. We went with the “build your own option” to include mushrooms and extra cheese. The calzone was the best I’ve had in ages (also mushroom). The mushrooms were perfect and the sauce was zesty without being overpowering. Nothing tastes as good as a brick oven style pizza. Definitely hitting this spot up again!
From the time we walked in the door to the time we left the experience at The Brick Oven was amazing! Our waitress was outstanding! She was attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and our food came out so quickly! The pizza was the best pizza we have ever eaten hands down, and we love pizza! We are so sad we did not find this place earlier in our trip! My husband even ordered a large pizza to go just to have it for the next day! The crust is so yummy and the perfect amount of chew, and the topping section is amazing! It was really busy and our pizza came out so quickly and was super hot! Love this place and will be back many times in the future!!
Seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. Grabbed the chicken, bacon and ranch and I’m polishing off the leftovers as I write this. The chicken was tender, the bacon was crispy, and the house-made ranch sauce is incredible. The crust is crispy on the outside, a great chew once you’re into it and not super thick. I can’t wait to come back!
In the heart of the town, there’s a place to be found, Where warmth and coziness abundantly abound. “The Brick Oven,” with its charm, does invite, Making every guest feel just right. A place where the staff, with smiles so wide, Ensures your dining pleasure, with no detail aside. At the core of it all, the oven made of brick, Where culinary magic happens, quick. First came the Lava Bread, oh so bold, A fiery treat, not for the cold. Like a pizza, but with a hot sauce twist, An appetizer you simply can’t resist. Then the main event, pizza took the stage, With sauce so divine, it’s all the rage. Twenty out of ten, I happily rate, A flavor so perfect, it’s hard to debate. Incredible all around. The waiter, Steve, was amazing! He was very friendly and talked with us about customer favorites! The food.. wow! Joe was cooking in the kitchen and he knew what he was doing!! All fresh, homemade ingredients and you could tell! I highly recommend this establishment for some great brick oven style pizza!
I saw this pizza place was voted best in the county so I wanted to try it. We walked in at 7:30p and were rudely greeted with “to go?” Ummm, no, we’re were hoping to dine in. “We close at 8pm”. We were begrudgingly offered a table and told if we could eat and scoot we could order. I really wanted to turn around and walk out of the door at that point and wish I did. We annual come to Baldwin County, and that was by far the rudest we were ever greeted. We ordered cheesy garlic bread which was pretty good. Feeling rushed we ordered the aloha pizza add mushrooms. It arrived quickly (without the mushrooms) and it was ok. It had a nice undercarriage. We left BEFORE 8pm, thankfully! Employees already had their coats on. I’ve never felt so rushed to order & eat in my life. If you’re going to have a business based on customer service, I’d think you’d be OPEN til closing time, not wanting to walk out the door at 8pm sharp. There are a zillion places to eat in Foley, I don’t think we’ll be going back here again. We like to visit local places when we travel and try to hit the best places, but being in and out the door in like 30 mins or less is not our ideal scenario for dining out. I wish we patronized someplace else that was more welcoming. ** If you’re still reading, I OVERWHELMINGLY write GREAT REVIEWS, but if you’re not welcoming when we walk in the door, you’re already starting off in the hole! **
Had a wonderful day at OWA and stopped here for dinner before returning to the resort. I ordered a meatzza calzone. Not the best. It was quite dry and crispy. On the other hand, the pizzas that were ordered by others in my party looked delicious. So, I was happy that they enjoyed their meals.
I love this place but it started to get pretty pricey. I was craving their lava bread, so I called one in and was shocked to find out it was $30 for pretty much a pepperoni pizza when I picked it up. It’s not a pizza it is an appetizer hence the lava bread. Pretty disappointing and dissatisfied.
