Superb table service. Great food and a downtown location. It can't be beat.
Been to a lot of Irish puba in my day, and this one is really good. Boxties are great. Service was good, and the atmosphere is excellent. Id come back here any day
Great fun! It’s a favorite of ours for sure! The fish and chips and chicken tenders and fries are always good! The service is friendly even on busy Mardi gras days! We enjoy playing pool upstairs!
An absolutely charming Irish pub. The best fish and chips I've ever had. Very good beer selection.
Stop in for a drink with some friends and was not disappointed. Great section of both draft and bottle beers. Not to mention great service! Mallorie was great to talk to and good at helping us pick the right beer. Big plus, check in and get a free shot. Yeah, it's bartender choice, so be nice to them if you want something good! Ha.
Went fir the bar tenders contest. We'll organized event. We ate afterwards and enjoyed the sliders.
My wife and I love to come here for the brunch! The food is great quality and comes perfectly portioned. The servers are great as well. We’ve also come in the evening to drink and O’Riley’s is always a fun experience. It can get pretty crowded, loud, and can take a long time to get a drink which can make it difficult to unwind, but if anything that shows how much others like this pub too
Spent the day in Downtown Pensacola just to unwind, ended up here by chance ,everything was great, we had the Ruben and Fish &Chips soooooo tasty only take away was we were dinning out and the poor little squirrel made a bad decision to cross the street RIP ....
Brunch is the best. Fast, friendly service. Great food. Bloody Mary just the right spice. Restrooms were clean and loved the sign posted on how to discreetly get help if you have a date going south. (Husband was behaving himself so did not need it.) Outdoor seating available but we loved indoor with the dark wood. Highly recommend.
O'Rileys Irish Pub is one of the best places in downtown Pensacola to hang with friends! They have a wide selection of drinks, including dozens of beers on tap. And their food is really good! It is not just your standard pub fare and it goes perfectly with good drinks and good friends. 😎
Great place to chill. Price on point. Staff is great. Give 'em a chance.
It was a beautiful day at downtown Pensacola and I wanted to eat some lunch outside. Enter O'Reley's Irish Pub. I have been here a few times here and there but normally for drinks. I had the lunch special an Irish coffee and a pint and it was great. The service was excellent, and it was such a pleasant day. I was able to park right in front so it was very convenient to get in and out. They have Halloween theme's set up, but it's subtle and not over the top. I definitely plan on dinning here again. My only complaint which is nit-picking is that they had no chairs without arm rests. As a bigger guy, I'm more comfortable in those chairs.
Every time I’ve gone to O’Riley’s it has failed to disappoint. With excellent wait staff, superb food, and a wonderful pub atmosphere you couldn’t ask for a better place to have a drink and meal with friends. Whether you’re grabbing a drink after work or heading their for a much anticipated meal O’Riley’s Downtown is the place to be! P.S. If you like salads you will not find a better Steak Salad anywhere else hands down.
I had the shepherd's pie here with fried pickles for my appetizer, both came out fresh and tasted very good! Even on a busy day, they were able to take our order in a timely manner. The atmosphere is kind of loud on those busy days, so it may be a bit hard to hear your party, but if you do sit outside, I believe that would help with the noise a bit. The food was great though, it was worth a try, in my opinion!
Very friendly and quick wait staff. The Shepherd's Pie was amazing, the Bangers and Mash was good but the Bread Pudding, HOLY CHRISTMAS was that the best EVER, perfectly sweet. We'll definitely be back and for sure tell our friends and family to go, too. Great job!
Amazing Irish Pub with great food! Boxty's were amazing. Chicken Tortilla Soup and Steak Sliders we're perfect. This place is a lively bar but child friendly for eating and even has pool tables upstairs. Gorgeous atmosphere and has tons of Big Screens to watch football and other sports! There is outdoor cafe seating so you can watch action on street too!
Good food and nice ambiance. Really felt like I just entered an irish pub. Definitely a place to have a nice drink(bottomless mimosa Sundays). I had calamari and the fish and chips they were crispy and fresh and just overall good. One of the best things about the place was definitely my server Madison! She made sure I was taken care of, so for that I give it a 5 star and I would suggest you to try this place out.
We sat at the bar and Laney and Bailie were awesome. They have great customer service, very friendly and personable. Happy Hour 2 for 1 best deal in Pensacola. We ordered chicken tenders with fries. Temperature was great came out hot, fresh and fast. I love this place, severs and bartenders !! Definitely will return for Bingo, Triva, Brunch, or Happy Hour.
The food was worth the wait for sure. We ordered the fish and chips. The fish and fries were cooked with expertise. Flavoring and batter was light...hard to explain. We would eat their again. After eating we felt nourished, not full and sleepy. Great job O'Riley's Irish Pub Cooks. The house salad was fresh but the toppings were minimum compared to the amount of salad. I would suggest that it be buffed up to compare with the rest of your menu items. The condiments must have been home made...YUM?? The dressing, tartar sauce and cocktail sauce all tasted like their signature special.
We always enjoy eating here. Food is usually very good. It's definitely a bar atmosphere but you can sit outside which is really nice in good weather.
This bar is a VIBE! We had SO much fun here. This was by far my favorite bar in Pensacola that we went to. It is certainly worth checking out.
Great little Irish pub in Pensacola proper. I was looking for a place to play darts with a cork board verses an electronic board. This place was highly recommended, so I took an Uber to check it out. The service was great and the darts room was perfectly secluded for concentration on my game. There’s plenty of indoor seating and a covered patio outside the front entrance. They had a trivia game going when I walked in the bar. I watched a little and played along before my darts. Lots of good fun! Thoroughly enjoyed my evening.
Down here in O’Riley’s is a hole in the wall spot. Now for starters if you ever come here definitely find Kai the bartender for a fantastic green tea shot. The wings are incredible and the fish and chips are delicious. I didnt take a pic of the food because of the bills and broncos game but this is a great spot for good food and Cold beer!
Noah had such a great positive attitude and gave great service! Cat was AMAZING as always! Anders took his time making sure the place was clean. We will definitely be back :))
When someone says “pub food”, we might think “salt, grease, and crunchies”. Not here. This was solid, restaurant fare. Excellent food, attentive service, and an ambiance that allowed you to talk and still follow the sports action. I ordered a small grilled wings with BBQ sauce. My wife got a generous Caesar salad, and our guests got an interesting take on a burrito and a seafood platter. The orders came out together, hot and tasty. Our server, Ms Colby, was efficient, congenial, and accommodating. Change your attitude about “bar food”, O’Riley’s is really good.
O'Riley's Irish Pub is an old standby that offers sidewalk (and dog friendly) seating, perfect on a beautiful spring day in FL. The food was mostly good, our server Sara was great! We had the Irish Bacon Bits (gives these a skip, too much fat), Shepherd's Pie, which was excellent, and the steak sliders which were quite yummy... and the girls LOVED their pup-cup.
Overall, it was a fantastic brunch, great service, and tastey food. You must have the banana bread. We asked for more. I was glad our original stop was too crowded. I would definitely make another stop here if I'm in the area. Thanks to the staff for making this a memorable brunch for me and my daughter.
Went on a Sunday afternoon sat outside. Had the half pound burger and it was one of the best burgers I have had. If you want to people watch sit outside. Went during Pensacon so we got to see all kinds of people dressed up and they had a replica game if thrones chair inside. There is inside and outside seating. The food is your typical pubs food. They also have a wide variety of beers & ipas to choose from. They also were serving Mimosas.
It's a Wednesday evening with nothing to do and decided to stop by Bailie and Laney were the bartenders they were amazing. It was a little busy but they handle crowd very well. happy hour is awesom…

Very nice staff. Darts and pool. Outdoor seating with heaters in winter. Great beer and liquor selection. They have draft beer as well. There is a fee for darts but you can play as long as you like. They are the nice metal tip darts, no broken plastic junk. Couch lounging area with multiple tv screens. Arcade games, a second bar and pool tables are upstairs. Only downside is it is PACKED on weekends. Like elbow to elbow push your way to the bar wait an hour for a pool table packed.
I liked the burger and the service was real good. Came on a Sunday so it wasn’t too loud here. Only issue is they don’t honor military here. That’s alright though I had a good experience. I’ll return if I’m downtown again
We usually sit outside, people watch and enjoy our time while waiting on meal. The sliders whether steak or pork are really good and a great price! We have taken a lot of our out of town visitors there for a meal. They have all loved it!
My first time here. It is what you want when you are looking for an Irish pub atmosphere wise. The service was great, the beer was cold. The food was very good. The were steady busy but not crazy (you have to wait to even get in) busy. I certainly would eat here again. If you are in the area give them a try.
The place is all about location and vibe. Food was just okay and the servers were short staffed so everything was taking time for the order to come
Overall a good experience. At first the service was slow but I guess the lady did not know we were her table and then everything was coming out fast. The shepherds pie was obviously older and not made fresh but it was still good I bet fresh is amazing. We made friends with a squirrel outside who was begging for food and it was adorable lol. Will be back.
Highly Recommend the ruben burrito. Bangers and mash were eh, ok. Kinda bland but ok for lunch, I guess. Prices were spot on for downtown. Service was excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the dog friendly atmosphere. Would definitely go back. So we came back 1/7/23 for an appetizer and a couple of beers. We decided on the "bowties"...again they were eh, ok. Not mashed like the menu states but shredded potatoes...bit of a difference upon biting into. The Service was great. Sat outside and enjoyed the walkers by and the dog friendly atmosphere. One thing that put a damper on our visit is they wouldn't allow us to convert 5 single beer purchases to a bucket for the cheaper price....where EVERY place we've been to will gladly do that. Just doesn't make good customer sense? 🍻 CHEERS!
Cool Irish pub that reminded us of our trip to Ireland earlier in the year. We stopped in for a guiness and we're happy to have it poured correctly. Can't speak about the food we only drank.
Pool tables upstairs separate room for darts, bar downstairs, and outside seating. Philly cheesesteak was pretty good. I think it’s worth a visit.
We sat at the bar for brunch. The bartender was really nice. One of the best bloody Mary's I've had. The food was really good too. We ate chicken and waffles. My only complaint is that the chicken was cooked in the same shortening as seafood so it smelled and tasted of shrimp or fish. I like seafood allot so I was ok with it but my granny has a shellfish allergy so it's something we always think about even if she isn't dining with us. Overall I like this place and I'll be back
Quaint Pub I stopped at for a few hours while solo away from a friend group while we were all down there for a friend's funeral. Great selection of drinks, and 4 7-foot tables (although the felt is a bit ratty, needs to be redone at some point, and they cost 1.50 to play 1 game) plus a pinball machine on the second floor.
The wings were big and fresh! I just wish they had more sauce on them, mine were lightly coated. The environment is nice but people smoking outside while you’re eating is annoying. Good prices though I would visit again!
Go for brunch!!! A $4 mimosa and the corned beef hash with over easy eggs is a great start to a day downtown. Seems to have slightly changed since we were last here, though. Outdoor seating and good weather elevate the experience too. Now that I think about it, go here for a night out too - always energetic in the evenings!!
Not a bad place. Usually easy to get a seat, and food is good. The service generally is good. We enjoy sitting outside which is well covered and good for people watching. Inside is a little dark and slightly dank, a typical Irish pub feel. There is a big area for darts and casual hang out (couches, etc.)
We went on the day of the 5k so downtown was packed and of course everyone was in their Irish best and painted green. We seated ourselves as directed and a server came over within a few minutes to wipe off the table and get our drink order. Despite how busy they were, we were attended to and received all of our items in a reasonable time. We shared the Cajun egg rolls which were okay but not really flavorful. I got the Caesar salad with blackened shrimp which was also okay. It wasn't much salad, just spread out on a big plate. I liked the homemade croutons but that ended up being the main ingredient in my salad. Overall, their menu prices are reasonable for being downtown.

Great bingo night to spend after our meal at Jackson’s. However this Tuesday evening, the bartenders were extremely nice and the drinks good. Only qualm was seeing the bartender slide the check back across the bar without an ending greeting and proceeded to get ONTOP of the bar and start laughing and giggling with friends. Something you would only witness on Bar Rescue 🤢
Great beer and polite staff, although one young lady didn’t know anything about the fish on the menu bc she “doesn’t eat seafood.” Food was good except Cajun pasta shrimp should be blackened before being thrown in and the french fries are of the very lowest quality; ironic for an Irish establishment. Clean place though and decent ambiance. When in doubt, location makes up for everything.
We were there 2 times this week. 6-30 and 7-6. Service was very slow outside. The servers walked around like they didn't know who was assigned to which section or tables (past server here). It was obviously unorganized. We watched on 6-30 as 3 tables got up and left after no one ever acknowledged them...ever. We had to go inside to find our server to get our check. On 7-6 I had the lemon pepper wings and wow! Overpowering SALTINESS!!! I like seasoning on my food but that was way over! There was so much it glistened in the lighting! Drinks were ok. I've had other items on the menu in the past and LOVE the Philly cheese steak (a little salty too but yummy). Seems service is problem though. 3-4 servers coming outside with no idea what tables are theirs!
Food was not what we expected...not really what we consider Irish Pub food. Bacon wrapped shrimp was undercooked. Fish and chips weren't crispy. Shepherd pie was ok but had no flavor and large chunks of meat.Drinks were very good though.

The drinks are fine and service is too, but the food is unremarkable. We had the pork sliders and a Cobb salad. Stick to burgers and wings and the nice selection of brews and you'll be ok.
Fish and chips and the fries looked and tasted like they was cooked earlier and reheated although the waitress (Emily) was nice... the lack of freshness made the food consumption average at best if not below...
Sercice was poor. There were less than 10 guests. I ordered at the bar drink and food, sat outside. Received my drink....after 30 minutes still no food. I asked the waiter to check on that. After 60 minutes still nothing. A bit closer to an hour an half I go inside to ask about my food the same waiter picked up my order. "Aw....I thought you received it by now." ?????? I was like no. So I stayed inside to be 'visible' within those 6 or 8 other guests. 😃 food was on the table in 10 minutes and my last drink was a complimentry. Ps: some guy at the bar had to wait 45 mins for his appetizer.
Went there at 7 pm on Thursday. 2 stars for location and an ok sweet tea. I ordered the Reuben Burrito. My wife ordered the Shepherd's Pies and my daughter ordered chicken tenders. The food came out late and really looked hurried. Both mine and my daughter's plates had fries that were really over done with burnt pieces making up the bulk of both our orders. My wife said her dish wasn't very good either. The server didn't make up for the poor food and service other than to give excuses and not take charge of the situation. We promptly asked for the bill, paid and left. We didn't finish any of the plates ordered. That's how bad it was. I had hoped for a better experience.
We ate there Friday night and enjoyed the outdoor seating. It was gallery night and crowded but the green crayon server seemed way to and very slow. We sat there for 45 minutes before even being checked on for drinks. It took another 20 minutes just to get our drinks. I ordered the 20 piece chicken wings and have them grilled. They shorted me on the wings. Which was quickly taken care of. But the wings themselves were very burnt and lacked any kind of seasoning. The tomato basil soup is very thick the consistency of spaghetti sauce. The boxties and the Cajun Chicken pasta we're very good. We sat down to eat at 6:00 and by the time we got our food and ate it. It was about 7:45 and had started to rain so we were not able to see any of the gallery night.
Got dinner here with the wife. Waitress forgot to bring us menus. We asked if she could wipe down our table. She never did. I had to do it when she finally brought out some napkins. Then she forgot our drink order so we had to re tell her we wanted a Coke and a Water with lemon. Never got my lemon and the water tasted weird so I ordered a soda. After a long wait we got the calamari appetizer it was unimpressive and skimpy portion. After another long wait they brought me out the wrong food. Finally got the correct food and was not even good. I got the Reuben. The wife got the BLT both with fries None of it was good or with the wait.
Worst service I have experienced in Pensacola. \nAfter we seated ourselves the waitress arrived. \nPlace was pretty empty 4 on a Tuesday. \n\nOrdered margaritas as that was the taco Tuesday special. …
Another bar where the waitress watches you sit, then walks by and ignores you. I would pass this place by.

Our server was amazing! The food was gross. The water was gross. Our boxties were overly cooked as well as the fries. Tasted liked they were fried in dirty oil. Hamburger was like rubber with absolutely NO flavor. Again, our server was FANTASTIC! Hire new kitchen staff.
Girl with the hat at the downstairs bar yesterday evening was extremely rude for no reason. Regret having left a tip.
If there was ever a place to show how to not act to customers, O'Riley's is the place. I typically have a laid-back attitude/mentality, and their incompetence was even frustrating me. It was unbearable and straight-up embarrassing. The chefs did cook up some good food, but unfortunately, it's not worth the hassle of the service. The only way I'd ever return would be due to a night out on the town, and accidentally stumbling in, not realizing. Service: 0/10 Food: solid 8.5/10 Atitude: 0/10 Overall: Chefs 9/10 (deserve the tip) Waiters/waitresses: 1/10 (should be tipping the customers to deal with the attitude)
Would never patronize this place again The staff is some of the rudest that I've ever met young lady at the door 8 minutes before 10:00 we walked in door was open wife wanted to use the restroom and we wanted to eat she chased us out said we couldn't and was as rude as I've ever seen a person be in a restaurant Will highly not recommend this place to anybody and you can definitely believe we went down the street had a great breakfast at bodacious. In case management wants to see who the staff was it was Saturday May 17th at 9:52
Loved sitting outside but the service was slow and not good and the food was poor. We had fish and chips which did not have a beer batter coating, it was more like a cornmeal coating and they were over fried and greasy. The dill sliders were also over fried and not good. The service was slow, it took forever to get our drinks and then when our entrees were served, 2 of us got our meals then five minutes later the rest of the entrees came out. And they were not hot so obviously sat waiting for a pick-up. Nothing could be sent back because we were headed to an event at The Saenger and didn’t have the time. Too many other options to ever try this place again.
Went on 7.1.26 for my second time playing poker. Bought food and a diet coke. Coke needed refilled so when she got the tables order I asked. She delivered the drinks to everyone around me and didn't bring mine. Asked again she wrote it down with the guys next to me order. She then brought his order. I asked again. 40 mins later I left poker early pissed. Asked for my check and she had the nerve to bring me the diet coke with the check. Also the urinal was flooding the floor but they can't help that . They can help having terrible servers. Won't be back.
Garbage service in a dive bar. Bartender was gone forever came back and chatted up a customer after looking at me and declined to help. Will not be back.
If I could leave no stars I would! Me and m fiance showed up at 9:20 pm looking for a quick Irish bite and some good drinks... we waited 10 mins to get service while the three bartenders were chit chatting in the corner. ( none of that was even the major issue!) When our bartender came over, we asked if we could get a food order in as it was now 9:33 and google shows the kitchen closes at 10pm .. the bartender straight up lied and stated that kitchen was closed and always closes at 9:30 pm.... then she got short with us... we ended up having to leave and go the better resturan down the road Graffiti pizza!! Wich id like to add is a great lil pizza/ bar spot and the people are always up beat and supper awesome!!! Don't waist your time in this dingy, overly loud, sour towel smelling bar where your good times come to die .
I hate to say it. O’Rileys has switched to Swai for their fish and chips. They had the best fish and chips around. Swai will not pass as Cod. Please switch back!!
We waited over 10 minutes with no server, so we went to the bar to order during happy hour. When the tall, skinny bartender finally came, she was rude and said, “I know it’s faster for you to come up here, but I have two sides of the bar to attend to,” in a frustrated tone. We just wanted to take advantage of the deal while enjoying time with our family visiting, but her attitude made the experience disappointing.
We have been “regulars” here for several years, mostly during the day or early evening hours, and have always been treated very well by the waitstaff. However, the last two times we’ve been there have not been pleasant, and we most likely won’t be returning. The first time was a few weeks ago. We like to eat outside for the atmosphere, and there were several open tables outside. We sat down and waited. We waited and waited as 3 waitresses kept walking by us, not even acknowledging we were there. We couldn’t even get their attention to ask for help. After 10 minutes we left. If they had been busy or understaffed, we could understand. We tried again last Saturday. Saturday is the day we have usually been going for at least 5 years, after going to the Palafox Market, during all seasons. We’ve never had a problem. They had a college football game on, and it was so loud you could hear it over a block away. It was just as loud inside. We noticed that none of the customers we usually see on Saturdays were there. My husband asked if it could be turned down just a little, and a waitress (who wasn’t particularly nice, and seemed bothered by us) told us the game had to stay on. We didn’t ask for the game to be turned off, only to turn it down some. We enjoy watching all sports. We couldn’t hear each other talk, and had to keep repeating ourselves. If there was a break in the game, and it happened to get quiet, you could hear the Irish music playing, but as soon as the game came back on it was gone. Why bother playing the music? Finally, she said she would ask inside. She came back out and told us it couldn’t be turned down, and “the boss” just left. Obviously, they thought we were too stupid to know there has to be a volume control. Our waitress was one we recognized, and she apologized to us. It was miserable, so when our food came we immediately asked for to go boxes and our bill. We went somewhere else. It appears they are trying to attract a different clientele during the daytime hours to compete with the places down the street, and the loyal customers are being made to feel unwelcome. We have brought out of town guests here, including friends from overseas multiple times. This establishment will not be getting any more of our money.
