Well balanced meals in flavor and portions. Nice variety on the menu for food and drinks. Eggs Benedict are great but today the chef was a little off and gave me hard yolks. They offered to replace but I figure nobody is perfect so the flavors and friendly staff made up for the minor issue. Vivian, my waitress is on top of everything and is worth a generous tip! I'll be back next opportunity.

Hit up Mimi's Cafe and wow, what a vibe! Big shoutout to Vanessa, our server – she was fantastic. Super friendly and knew exactly what to recommend. But let's talk about the real star: the Banana Foster Waffles. Best. Thing. Ever. Perfectly crispy waffles with this mind-blowing banana foster sauce that was just the right kind of sweet. Seriously, it was a game-changer. Between Vanessa's top-notch service and those insane waffles, I'm already planning my next visit. If you're ever at Mimi's, do yourself a favor and get those Banana Foster Waffles. Trust me, you won't regret it!

My wife and I have been to this Mimi‘s several times and every time I’ve come, the food is always good. I had the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was excellent. My wife had the bacon, walnut, bleu cheese salad 🥗 She enjoyed her salad, happy wife happy life.😋 We also had the raisin carrot cake Madelines , delicious!

Ordered thanksgiving dinner takeout for the family! Excellent food! Everything was package in a big box, and comes with heating instructions for the microwave and oven. Of course, the turkey needs to be heated in the oven 😉. Would definitely do this again. 10/10, would recommend to anyone.

My family and I celebrated Mother's Day last Saturday at Mimi's. The food ordered by all 6 of us was delicious and arrived promptly. Our server was delightful; she checked frequently to see how we were doing. My daughter and I especially loved the hot vanilla lattes. I would love to go there again. There's plenty of convenient parking close by. It's definitely a kid friendly place.

So about my experience At this location. The wait wasn't too long and we were able to eat inside! that was exciting after a whole year of eating outside or restaurants being closed. The hostess was really nice the manager/supervisor was excellent The cleanse of the restaurant was great, however we were a little disappointed and felt somewhat uncomfortable with our server Joseph. He just came across being rude. From what I noticed he was trying to be very formal and overly polite? But he over did it to a point where it cameout Condescending. Food came out on time and it was great! But we were just a little turned off with this gentlemans personality. Over all our experience was OK. Always a go-to for quick and delicious breakfast. Quality isn’t blow your socks off great, but it will fulfill any breakfast cravings you may have. The muffins are always great, and they make a good cappuccino as well. Don’t come here often for lunch and dinner, but I do like the French Dip for lunch. For breakfast, I recommend any of the eggs Benedict’s or the French toast. Thank you again!

Tough to gage a restaurant on Mother's Day. Seated 45 minutes after reservation time. Took a long time to get our water, and a long wait to order. Reasonable food prep time after our order was placed. Most of our group of 8 enjoyed our meal.

Mimi's Cafe at Sierra Lakes Parkway —-A Mixed Bag with a Sweet Ending My recent breakfast visit to Mimi's Cafe on Sierra Lakes Parkway had a slight hiccup, but overall, it was a pleasant experience. As a vegetarian, I specifically requested a vegetarian menu and clearly communicated my dietary preference when ordering. Unfortunately, the vegetarian sandwich I received came with bacon. While the waiter quickly apologized for the mix-up, it was a bit disappointing. These things happen, though, and I appreciate the swift apology. Despite that initial stumble, the food itself was quite good. I particularly enjoyed the French toast, which was a definite highlight. Beyond the food, the staff were genuinely nice and had a great attitude, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant itself also has a nice environment, making for a comfortable dining experience. I'd say Mimi's Cafe offers good food and a pleasant ambiance, even with the occasional ordering error. If you're in the area, it's worth checking out, especially for their French toast!

My husband LOVES cinnamon roll french toast and he tries it everywhere he goes. Once we saw Mimi’s had it, we went. Our girls love the “dirt” (chocolate pudding with Oreos and gummy worms) on the kids menu. The mimosa flight came with the juice separate and a small champagne bottle. My husband and I liked we were able to taste the juice before adding the champagne. Now, the cinnamon roll french toast didn’t beat Coco’s (I know!), but he said it was pretty good. I got the crab cake eggs Benedict and it was sooo good. I was shocked! I’ll be back!

Can't say I did not expect that due to the hiring sign in front of the place saying every position is needed. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied. I feel like the prices per plate were more expensive for what it was. I didn't care for the crepes. The filling got too warm and turned into curds. For paying $19 for 2 and barely finishing half of one, I was disappointed.

The experience at Mimi just isn't the same anymore. The service is good, the place is clean. I sent the French onion soup back because there was hardly anything in it 😕. The cook threw a few grilled onions in it to fix it! Portions were fair on main course. Paid almost $60 for a sandwich and roast beef dinner with ice tea . No alcohol was purchased.

Haven’t dined here in a while and I’m disappointed. I used to love the quiches, they seemed freshly baked. The one I got seemed heated in a microwave, funky tasting and the crust was not flaky. To help with the flavor I asked for salsa and it was in the smallest container ever, so I had to use it sparingly. To top it off, the potatoes served with it were old and tasteless. Used ketchup for those. What happened to Mimi’s? I don’t think I will be back. The service was good and people nice though.

The food was ok. Could've been more flavorful. My biggest complaint is the service. I ordered the 3 course meal, and everything was brought out at once, giving me no time to enjoy each course. I hadn't even finished when the waitress came to ask if I was ready for the dessert. I had to say not yet. Then later when she brought it she also brought the check. I totally felt I was being rushed despite the place being nearly empty. Not a good experience.

Looking to find a solid breakfast spot close to my house, I finally decided to try Mimi's Cafe. We went in early on a Friday morning and was surprised to see it so busy. There's was some kind party/gathering going on in the room next to us, so for it being 7:30 am, it was as loud as a dinner service typically is. Waitress was kind and walked us through the breakfast options well. Manager was very engaged and walked around helping tables where needed. Food was pretty good, just different than what I was expecting. I ordered the Chipotle breakfast burrito and the salsa it comes with tastes like marinara sauce. Different, but it wasn't bad. My wife enjoyed her food as well as the early-morning mimosa. Nothing really stood out about the menu or or the food, but the place was charming and the staff was friendly and that's what will bring me back to try the dinner menu.

First time here. Almost no wait time for a late Saturday morning. Service was great. The food, not so much. I was in the mood for chicken and waffles, but I what I got was not satisfying. They gave me two small thin pieces of chicken with the waffles. Out of any place I've been that has served chicken and waffles, this place takes #1 in giving you the least amount of chicken. Sad thing is that the chicken was actually good, but they are stingy on the amount they give you. The waffles tasted fine, but needed more syrup. I also got a mocha latte which honestly just tasted more like a hot cup of milk. Couldn't taste the chocolate or the espresso. If I ever come back, I would get something else.

Place was not busy at all. Greeted by the hostess who seated us promptly while wearing the gloves she was wearing to bus/clean tables. Not too sanitary to touch silverware wrapped up in napkins. Food was mediocre at best, but our server Anikan was adequate. While waiting for our food, I noticed several tables that needed busing and were still not cleared by the time we left 45 minutes later. The restaurant wasn’t very clean. The mirror looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while and had an unknown dried substance on it. Seats looked stained and could use a good cleaning. Not the Mimi’s I was used to and won’t be going back to this location.

We got to the Fontana location at noon, and the place for the most part was empty. They had 1 waitress for the bar and restaurant for the lunch hour. My shrimp/crab pasta was tasty! But sadly, almost cold. I never send my food back for fear of retaliation. The waitress was very sweet, so we don't fault her and left her a very nice tip.

We’ve had Mimi’s a handful of times and every time it’s been great. Today, we walked in at 12pm and the host Janet mentions there was a last minute huge party and the wait will be longer than usual. She said it’d be 20 minutes. That’s fine, we put our name on the waitlist and we walked over to the Dollar Tree. We came back to the restaurant at exactly 12:14 and we asked where on the waitlist we were at. She said she took us off the waitlist because she called us and we weren’t there. That was annoying, because why would you quote 20 minutes if it’s not 20 minutes. Or why wouldn’t you say “around 20 minutes” “10-15 minutes” something? She said exactly 20 minutes. We put our names back on the waitlist and she said it’d be 5 minutes. She calls 3 more tables, and we’re sitting for more than 15 minutes. She says one more couples name and she’s calling out so quietly that the couple in front of us can’t even hear their name being called, she almost gave up their seat. We then go to the podium again after a couple had just walked in and were going to be sat. We said “hey, we’ve been waiting now for FORTY minutes.” And the server who is going to take the other couple is there waiting and says, “it’s okay, I’ll take you guys now” and Janet tries to quietly say “I called them and they didn’t show up” like miss girl? We came to the podium twice. She would constantly leave her spot and as people were coming in they’d wait around for the host to come. Idk where she was disappearing to. It was truly aggravating, she was trying to justify a forty minute wait at Mimi’s? When people were coming in and getting sat almost immediately. She kept telling people as they walked in it’d be “20 minutes” and they’d get called within 5 minutes. Thankfully, the server we had was very kind. Took our order, drinks, and it was fine. There was a hair in my ranch and he apologized and quickly brought out another. It was just okay. 6/10. Janet sincerely needs more training.

We have always patronized Mimi's with no issues and loved it. Today was embarrassing. Today we had out of town guests so took them there for lunch. Nine of us. We have never had to wait so long for our food to arrive...45 minutes. All we ordered was salads and sandwiches with fries. Nothing that would take forever to cook. The restaurant had a lot of empty tables...so being over crowded was not the problem. When we recieved our food the fries were cold. Our waitress would reach across in front of someones face and ask us to pass the food down. We spent quite a bit of money, and to bring our guests there and have keep apologizing for choosing Mimi's. Like i said, embarrassing!

Bad experience today. Took FOREVER to get our breakfast. 30-35min. 1 waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, & 1 breakfast combo. Eggs came cold & sent them back. No apologies from Mgr. either. They weren't even busy! Thumbs 👎

We froze! The temp outside was 61 degrees and it was warmer than inside. No heat, very unpleasant to sit there and you were so cold you couldn't wait to leave.

***updated, I was around the city and I give a try again, this time was different, breakfast was good just one thing, update you way of payment, not receiving wallet payment? Google payment? Samsung payment? Apple payment.......... I had always liked going to this restaurant, even though it is outdated, it is cozy and the food is good, but today's service was terrible, the hostess took us to a table that we did not like, we asked for another one and with bad attitude, she told us that we would have to wait 10 more minutes to have the table ready, they were empty, we did not understand why to wait, we waited and nothing, we asked if she was doing it on purpose and she said that the table was not ready yet but with mucking face, we left here disappointed, without eating and we entered the cracker barrel with much better attention, that makes a difference when they receive you well, it's nice.

Worts service ever!! Who ever wrote that severs and hostess are "extremely friendly" either is their family members working here or that day was her lucky day unfortunately for me and my son was terrible!! I don't visit this place often but my son wanted to try the new pain perdu with berries the server was totally aphatetic and careless I asked for coffe and there was no silverware no sugar and no creamer at my table what I'm pretty sure she was aware of it and even tho she didn't bother to ask if I needed anything she didn't offered us bread as she did to her other tables I clearly saw her been nice attentive and all smiles with her other customers I guess she just assumed that because of my race I would not tip her I felt neglected and discriminated till after almost 10 minutes of waiting finally I catch the managers attention and I asked for a new server this has been the worse experience I've had at this location sevice is one of the main reasons customers come back either she does not know that or she just do not care and stereotypes people

My son picked me up a turkey sandwhich from this place. The French fries were thrown on the sandwich making eveything soggy. The meat is not oven roasted like it says it is. It's wet turkey probably from a can. The bacon barely cooked. The thing was gross. The Mimi's Cafe in the high desert has higher standards. Silly me thinking this place would be the same.

No one showed up to greet or to sit us. One room was completely empty another room there were 2 tables with customers. We waited for 10 minutes and left. Sad it used to be such a good and popular restaurant. Bad service means bad management. I would not be surprised if Mimi’s is out of business one day. Hire the right people to save the business!!!

Nothing like getting the bare minimum from a server who won't even ask if we need anything or check in. First and last time I'll be coming here. Btw chicken and waffles is nothing more than chicken strips and boxed waffle mix.
