The Chick-Fil-A in Foothill Ranch is excellent! The chicken nuggets, waffle fries, Mac and cheese, and fruit cups are always freshly prepared and absolutely delicious! My two toddler sons and I go to this location approximately twice a week, and every visit I am always impressed by how good the service is and how incredibly CLEAN everything is. My sons absolutely love coming here, because the food is so yummy and they love playing in the indoor playground. Additionally, the owner of the Chick-Fil-A is amazing! She is very kind, helpful, and generous with customers. She takes the time to talk with my toddler sons every visit and it is evident that she truly cares about providing guests with a great experience! This is literally the BEST Chick-Fil-A location, and I highly recommend checking it out!
Quiet and welcoming. Service was excellent and efficient. We ate outside in the picnic area. DT was busy but moved fast, mobile collection was also available.
The Foothill Ranch location Chick-fil-A is attentive service, and clean facilities. One of the standout items on the menu is the classic Chick-fil-A sandwich, which features a lightly breaded chicken breast served on a toasted bun with pickles. The chicken is always juicy and flavorful, and the bun is soft and fresh. All of these items are made with the same care and attention to detail as the classic. The waffle fries are my favorite, and the lemonade is always. One potential downside of Chick-fil-A is that it is closed on Sundays, but it’s nice that they think of your employees. I recommend coming to this location better than the location and orange.
This location is usually well run. The younger staff seem a little distracted, I had to wait for my order longer than expected. I actually watched them bag my order because it wasn't busy at the time and when they were done they didn't call my name, it just sat there for a few minutes while they served someone else. But they got to it eventually so all is well that ends well.
I real want this place to be a success, but I just dont see it. Having to wait for coffee to brew at 9am seems a little lack. Always get a well appreciated welcome but after that, it is a crap shoot on the customer experience you recieve. There are times when it seems they dont know how to work the register. I recently asked for a #4 combo and then had to explain what is in the combo. Then had to ask twice for sauces. Are the employees not trained on the product? I get it... small nit picky stuff. But I really enjoy having it there, as it is really convenient. But I dont see it being around much longer. I hate seeing retail leave this area Especially with a better store down the street
I had a disappointing experience during a recent visit to this location while picking up two mobile orders—one for myself and one for my husband—via the drive-thru. After confirming both orders through the intercom, I pulled up to the window and was handed only one. I waited, thinking there may have been a mix-up, only to be asked, “Is Ryan in the car with you? No? Then I can’t give you his order.” I was surprised, as I’ve never encountered this issue at this location or others, including the Woodbury branch. The staff explained that because one of the orders included a free sandwich, they could not release it unless my husband was physically present. I asked if they could cancel the order and restore the reward to the account so we could pick it up elsewhere, but was told that wasn’t possible. In the end, they reluctantly gave me the sandwich while saying, in a condescending tone, “I’ll give it to you this one time, but next time I won’t.” The entire interaction felt unnecessarily patronizing, especially given that this hasn't been an issue in the past.
Pulled up to go in to order my food I seen worker go to his car as he was walking back to go in he was blowing his nose and wiping he entered the restaurant after me not one time he stop at sink to wash his hands he goes through the double doors to the back instead of washing his hand at the sink that was next to the double doors. Said something to one of the team leaders and all she had to says was oh we have a sink in the back. asked for a Sausage Burrito meal get a chicken with a lil sausage in it, gas to high to return it had already left bou thanks for the double meat tho🤷🏿♀️
Today I bring my son to there. They said today is a play day. On the table have some game. My son wants to play it. I ask if we can play in the store. The man looks like a manger. He is very kind and approved us. But the game is very big ,we cannot play on the table. So I think maybe we can take it home. I see someone on the social media said they sometimes give it to the kids. So when I bring it out the man said we shouldn’t bring it home. So sorry I did not ask first. But that thing makes me feel bad. I will never been there again.
I don't usually write reviews but this is the WORST experience I've ever had at a restaurant for this specific location, have never left this angry before. Went to go pick up a mobile order for my sister that she PAID for and both team members and manager absolutely refused to give me the order because the "account holder has to be present." Wouldn't accept screenshots of the receipt, wouldn't accept calls to confirm the order, offered zero flexibility/refunds and had the AUDACITY to ask me why my sister couldn't pick up herself and I ended up leaving without the order after 10 minutes of arguing because of how stingy the staff was being. Wasted my time/money because the staff refused to give me my damn sandwich over a stupid "policy" they made up, over something that's not even specified on the app. Didn't even get the order refunded. Absolute pathetic and unprofessional service, I've been to at least 10 other locations in the OC area and never had this problem, will never come back to this one again. I thought Chick-Fil-A prided itself on customer service, yet there was zero interest/sympathy in meeting customer needs. Entire staff just seems to revel in power tripping and denying customers their food. I read previous reviews and seems like the exact same thing's been happening to other people lately. Upper management either needs to fire people or make changes because this location is accumulating a lot of angry customers lately and losing money soon.
We frequently order food for pick-up here. Today, the managers decided we need to have the account holders in-person and we cannot take their food for them. They’ve never hinted at this before, and there was zero flexibility Thanks for ruining all 6 meals!
Refused to provide us with the mobile order meals that we had paid for and showed the app for. Apparently this Chic-Fil-A location will not allow you to pick up mobile orders for other individuals EVEN THOUGH WE HAD THE RECEIPTS SHARED. The sign only says we need the receipt on our phone - WHICH WE DID! Feels like they are making up their own rules and have blamed "meals being stolen" in the past. A bummer, but we won't be ordering to this location any further.
I visited Chick-fil-A and experienced extremely poor service and unprofessional management. I waited in the drive-thru line for approximately 10 minutes before placing my order. After doing so, the employee put me on hold and returned at 8:04 PM to inform me that they could not take my order because the store was “closed.” I explained that I had been waiting in line, but instead of honoring my order or offering what food was still available, I was told they had run out of food. To make matters worse, the drive-thru was coned off after the vehicle behind me, leaving me trapped in the line. I was forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while the cars ahead of me were served, even though I was denied service. When I reached the window, I asked to speak with a manager to share my frustrations about how poorly the situation was handled. The manager was dismissive, rude, raised his voice, and repeatedly cut me off instead of listening. This experience was unacceptable and unprofessional. This location’s operations and customer service have significantly declined, and I strongly encourage a review of their practices and management.
I came in today for lunch with a group of 4 students with disabilities. I had ordered fries and a combo for my clients. Upon receiving the food, I said thank you cheerfully to our server, whose name is Mark. I have been a customer here at this location many times, including today. Upon being thirsty, I asked for water, and Mark hesitantly gave me the water cup because he thought I was an nonpaying customer. Never thought I would be met with such a negative smug attitude simply cause I asked for a water cup. Never will I come to this location again.
I am a regular Chick Fil A customer.. My family and I sometimes eat twice a day at Chick Fil A. On 6/5/25 we visited the Foothill Ranch location, once I arrived home I realized our order was incorrect. I immediately called but the store was closed, so I called the next morning, on 6/6/25. I was told that the cares team manager would give me a call. Over there course of a few days I hadn’t received the call, so I made another attempt a few days later and again today, 6/11/25. I finally received a call from a very arrogant, rude and unconcerned cares manager, Karen Marie. It’s disappointing to have to resort to this, and what’s worse is she didn’t care that I was calling corporate to make a complaint, or leaving a negative review. I feel bad for the owner of this store.
Unfortunately, there is no customer at this location. The food tasted old and refried / burnt. Management refused to resolve my concerns because I couldn't return the food the same day. No remake or refund was offered. That's NOT the way you keep customers. You are way better off going to any other location than this one.
Definitely the worst chick fil à I’ve ever been to including east coast area. The meat is not juicy at all, but quite firm and sooo thin. Furthermore, asked the personnel (while picking up from the drive through) if I can eat inside and he said yes. When entered, the lady said “sorry we cleaned the area half an hour earlier today, so no eating inside”. Went inside Canes across to eat my sandwich.
