5 stars – Our third visit, and BKK Thai & Sushi just keeps getting better! We’ve been huge fans of BKK Thai & Sushi by Cilantro in Fort Lauderdale for a while now, and this was our third trip—honestly, it never disappoints. The consistency here is truly impressive; every single time, the food tastes just as fresh, flavorful, and spot-on as the first visit. The menu is wonderfully varied—plenty of classic sushi options alongside a deep dive into genuine Thai cuisine. I love that they have an “Authentic” section for the real-deal Thai dishes, and everything we’ve tried (from pad Thai to curries and those incredible specials) feels like it was made with true care and tradition. The flavors are bold, balanced, and unmistakably Thai—no watered-down versions here! But what really makes this place shine is the spectacular, friendly service. The staff is so warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there. They make you feel like regulars even if it’s “only” your third time—they remember little details, recommend dishes with enthusiasm, and just create such a welcoming vibe from the moment you walk in. And can we talk about the open-air top-floor dining area? It’s my absolute favorite spot! Sitting up there with the breeze, city views, and that relaxed rooftop energy is pure magic—especially for a sunset dinner or evening out. It elevates the whole experience. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale and craving amazing Thai, top-notch sushi, or just a place that feels special without being stuffy, BKK is it. We can’t wait to come back for round four. Five stars all the way—highly recommend! 🌟🍣🇹🇭
I absolutely adore this place!! I spent my birthday weekend in Fort Lauderdale and this spot was near by the hotel i stayed at. I walked there two times and both times I was serviced with the most upright respect! They treated me like they had known me for years. I ate on the rooftop at the bar where the waiter ( Miguel or Mario was his name ) serviced me with such care and kindness. He was attentive and quick. If I didn’t enjoy something he accommodated me for it . The ladies at the entry are soooo sweet. I can’t wait to return . I loved everything! Especially the drinks and calamari and soup!
The food and service here is amazing! The servers are very attentive and friendly! Pun is a wonderful server, he helped me navigate the menu and gave me their recommendations based on what I was looking for. The food was delicious, absolutely fresh and well seasoned. I had the Krapao Crispy Pork Belly and the Crispy Tuna Tartar for appetizer, I definitely recommend. I also enjoyed that the drinks served were not watered down. Overall, it’s a great environment and place that you know you will eat well no matter what you choose on their diverse menu. I will definitely be back!
Found this place by accident and it was BY FAR the best food we've had in a very long time!! Fresh, tasty, well presented and absolutely delicious. Sushi was amazing. Tuna tacos... wow!! Drinks were great! Dessert (Thai donuts).... omg!! We'll be back .... probably tomorrow. Look at these pictures!
Absolutely wonderful experience. Our server, Pun, was amazing. He kept our glasses full and smiles on our faces. The torched salmon belly was perfect. Drinks were awesome and we loved sitting on the rooftop. Just excellent all the way around.
Absolutely delicious Thai food! Drunken noodles were to die for! Cashew nut sauce was unbelievable too! And of course wonderful service by Pookky and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you so much!
The crab ragoons were perfection! They were crispy, on point, the filling was smooth and delicious with the sauce that other places make them thick this one was light and flavorful. I had the Kra Pao and it was very tasty. The seasoning of the beef was delicious and the rice w the egg on top made the dish over the top. I enjoyed my meal that night. The server was very nice and polite. I will be back for more!
Peaceful yet lively place with the best spring rolls, red curry and my husband did say his salmon was the best he'd ever had. The driving in Ft Lauderdale is a little wild and reckless too often but this meal has done wonders for our take on the city so far 😌 thank you BKK! 🫶🏾
Absolutely amazing sushi restaurant! The sushi was incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. You can truly feel the quality and care in every bite. Special thanks to our wonderful server Mimi 🤍 — she was attentive, warm, and genuinely kind. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made our evening feel extra special with her great service and positive energy. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making this place one you’ll definitely want to come back to. Highly recommend to anyone who loves great sushi and excellent service!
Will absolutely be coming back! The service was so kind and friendly and the food was incredible. The red curry was the best I’ve ever had and the crab rangoons were delicious too. highly recommend.
From the moment you walk in everyone is always friendly. We like to sit at the bar. Bartenders John and Mario are awesome. There is a bar upstairs (open air) and one downstairs (a/c). They have Happy Hour from 3-6. HH food & drinks are delish and filling. Ofcourse you can always choose from their regular menu which has more yumm choices.
100% recommended. Authentic Thai food. Had their pork bone lemongrass soup, mango (homemade) sticky rice, and a virgin non-alcoholic mango ginger drink. I've favorited this spot as a must return to, so I can try everything else. Thanks to Pun and all the personable and attentive staff for making my dining experience 5 STARS!
Got takeout. Very good. Best crab Rangoons I’ve ever had Another 5 star review, we ate inside the restaurant and the food was even better! Panang curry, pad thai chicken, and service was 10000/10!!!!! So so good! Best in Fort Lauderdale.
This was the most incredible lunch of my life. I truly felt immersed in Thai culture. We especially loved the rice and the Tom Kha soup. We also ordered small dumplings, and they were absolutely amazing. We highly recommend coming here for lunch or even dinner. And the staff is just wonderful. Yes, I used the word ‘amazing’ several times, because this place genuinely deserves it. Переведи на русский
We came to celebrate my daughter’s eighth birthday because her favorite food is sushi and we had a hankering for mango sticky rice! We were fortunate enough to travel to Thailand a few years ago, and the cuisine at BKK held up the standard! Pun was our server and he was delightful
What a delicious restaurant! Probably one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Recommend everything we ordered! Tuna taro and the parmesan scallops were delicious. The duck for our entree was delicious as well! Can’t wait to try more of their menu
I have been to Thailand, and never found a restaurant that even came close to the food I experienced: until now. I could not fault this place, from the food to the staff. Pun is an exceptional server, both professional and personable. All of the staff are pleasant and all of the food is amazing.
Great sushi/sushimi combo for lunch. Nice clean interior and easy parking right off Federal. Pleasant staff, fresh fish, everything you need!
Was staying nearby on Christmas Day and lucky to find them open! The sushi was top tier, super fresh, beautifully plated and generously portioned. Our waiter Pun was very friendly and attentive - really couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared! What made the experience even better was the amazing customer service from Fanny. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place for both the incredible food and the outstanding service. Been here twice and I’ll definitely be coming back!
Walked in for happy. Good deal on small bites and sushi rolls. We sat upstairs that had big TVs and a great breeze. The sushi was good, not great, but the tuna tacos and the khai soi was fantastic. We didn’t need a reservation, just walked in. Great place to stop on the way to the airport
Amazing atmosphere, great service, perfect location with plenty of parking. And, most importantly, the food: simply amazing! The presentation is perfection and everything is incredibly tasteful. Two rolls were more than enough to fill me up. You can rest assured we will be there regularly!
My go-to for sushi and thai. I'm vegan and their veggie roll is perfect for me. They can also modify some dishes to accommodate a vegan lifestyle.
I had a lunch date with one of my friends who frequents BKK for lunch. She talks so highly of the food and staff. I love sushi and was looking forward to seeing for myself. The location is very convenient and easy to park. The atmosphere is nice. We sat at the bar and ordered. The options were plenty; Thai or sushi. I asked for a sushi roll suggestion and we ordered. The food came out quickly and I was very happy. The food was exceptional. The staff are super nice. Prices are about the same as the other local places. Looking forward to returning with Hubs.
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Davie has just opened this new location in Ft. Lauderdale. We went to try it today and it was wonderful. This new restaurant offers a large selection of traditional Thai and Sushi dishes, but the main attraction is their Authentic Thai menu. This is a selection of dishes prepared exactly the way you would get them in Thailand. As far as I know, this is the only restaurant in Broward that offers this type of cuisine. The selection of dishes is fairly large, so I will be coming back to try more authentic dishes, but today I had the duck noodle soup and it was delicious. The duck was crispy and the broth was full of flavor. Other dishes we tried from the regular Thai menu (Cashew Nut sauce with tofu) and Sushi menu (Volcano roll) were also excellent. Service was as good as what we are accustomed to at Cilantro, friendly and efficient. You are always welcome with a smile, specially by the co-owner and manager Tan. This restaurant is located in what used to be Dirty Ernie’s, just south of 17th street causeway on Federal Highway. The place has been completely remodeled and it looks great. They have only been opened 1 week, but I’m sure they are going to attract a large clientele very quickly. If you are looking to experience something new, you should definitely give BKK a try. Cheers!
Some of the best Thai food I have had in the US. We ordered the fried muscles by rec from Mimi which were phenomenal. The Thai tea was the perfect sweetness. The drunken noodles were great and so was the pork belly dish but the red curry was one of the best curries I have ever had. We had a few a la carte sushimi because we had to just taste the sushi and it was so fresh and delicious. We are here on vacation and debating how many times is okay to go in 3 days 😂 will definitely be a mandatory stop any time we are in the area!
Stopped in for a quick bite, pleasantly surprised that it was happy hour with food & drink specials upstairs on the second floor outdoor seating area. The breeze was lovely. Tony was my server and took good care to make sure I had everything I needed. Super nice guy. All of the staff were so kind and welcoming. I had the veggie roll and cheese rangoon - both were yummy and served up quickly. Spicy passion fruit margarita was on point. Looking forward to checking out the main dinning area!
My husband and I drove by tonight and saw that bkk is now open, and since we love Cilantro in Davie we wanted to give it a try. To our surprise the manager Tan from the Davie location was there. He was as warm and welcoming as always! Mimi was our server, she was attentive, kind, and funny. She was able to pace our food out nicely as we were sharing everything. We started with a house salad with a unique and delicious ginger dressing. Then we tried the Kai Yang chicken which was perfectly done and came with a tasty house sauce. I always order a dragon roll, and it was fresh and large. Lastly, we shared our favorite, green curry. My husband likes it Thai spicy and most places give it to him medium and he has to add more spice. Well bkk gave him a true Thai spice! It was very good and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Our first time eating at Bkk. Everything we had was delicious. Service was wonderful. Mimi , one of the owners was very sweet. It’s less than a week and we are going back .
A recently opened Asian restaurant with an extensive menu of Japanese and Thai cuisine. We visited early in the evening, and it wasn’t very crowded. The service was excellent. We had sushi, and everything was fresh and delicious. We’d love to come back and try new dishes from the Thai section.
Quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. The service is amazing, and food is even better. The staff treats us like family and there’s so much variety on the menu. The tom kha soup is the best we’ve had, and every dish has been incredible. If you’re looking for top notch Thai and great sushi, you’re at the right place. The roof top views and breeze are a plus!
Jane and Pun were excellent! We wanted sushi and Thai, both came out perfect, we enjoyed it so much. Jane was friendly greeting us immediately at the door! She checked on us multiple times! Pun was our server and was very friendly greeting us, and helped us with the menu, consistently checking on us. 10/10 service.
Great place for lunch. We sat upstairs in the rooftop area. Great food. Pun was very helpful with his recommendations and great personal service. We had sushi trio and yum woo sen. it was delicious.
Seeking a phenomenal Thai food experience in a hip bar-like environment? BKK Thai & Sushi by Cilantro is the perfect destination. This massive restaurant, possibly the largest Thai establishment in Florida, features two sprawling floors. Guests can opt to relax at the beautifully adorned bar, indulge in Japanese cuisine at the sushi bar, or venture upstairs to savor open-air seating within a dynamic sports bar setting. The menu boasts an extensive range of traditional Thai options, as well as exclusive offerings like Hoy Jor and Yum Puk Boong Krob appetizers. Our noodle dishes were incredibly flavorful, with the egg noodle being the standout. To cap off our meal, we savored happy hour drinks, which commenced everyday at 3 pm.
We absolutely love the Cilantro’s location in Davie so when we heard they were opening a new location, BKK in Ft Lauderdale we knew we had to go try it and we were NOT disappointed! This location’s menu has all of our favorite Thai and sushi dishes PLUS a menu featuring some additional authentic Thai dishes which were amazing! We asked our server Mimi, to help us select some options for dinner and let me tell you we all were disappointed when we got full because we just wanted to keep on eating, it was sooooo good! The manager, Tan, as always, is wonderful, they really make you feel like family. Can’t wait to go back!
Eddy, upstairs bartender was amazing. The food was the best for the other 5 sushi spots in a 2 mile radius. Good service. Fun place! Will come back!
This is a fantastic spot for Thai food and sushi. My wife ordered the vegetarian Pad Thai and loved it. I tried the BKK tacos (appetizer), dragon roll, and torch roll—all of which were delicious. Our waitress, Susie, was outstanding—very attentive and even recommended the matcha crème brûlée, which turned out to be delicious as well.
Amazing service , food and hospitality !!!!! My friend and I came here after going to another high level 5 star restaurant on a roof and we left bc the service did not add up to the money we were paying - we decided to go to BBK Sushi and Thai Cilantro and we were greeted by MiMi and her beautiful smile and served by the SENSATIONAL Mario !!!! You can tell they love their customers bc there were so many regulars there . Mario and Mimi - THANK YOU so much for EVERYTHING !!!! We came for delicious food and left feeling like we had the most incredible experience !!! I will def be coming back !!! Thank you thank you !!! Daniela Drake
My new spot for authentic Thai food. I’m Thai and I’m not working here and I like this restaurant a lot. The restaurant looks so clean and modern and they also have rooftop and full bar. I like the food here, sushi also really good and I definitely come back. You won’t regret it if you are looking for authentic thai food. I didn’t have food picture bc when the food comes we finish it fast.
My husband and I tried the new Thai/sushi restaurant that opened up in the old Andy’s Grill/Ernie’s BBQ. The sushi was very fresh, the people were very accommodating and friendly and there is a full bar. The scallops parmigiana was excellent as was the tuna tower. Great addition to Fort Lauderdale.
Best of the best! Friendly and professional staff, pleasant atmosphere, and best of all, the food is incredible. I haven’t ordered anything that wasn’t OMG good! Don’t miss the amazing upstairs dining/bar patio.
Finally tried BKK Thai & Sushi by Cilantro on Federal in Fort Lauderdale. Authentic, delicious and amazing service. Tried a different type of papaya salad because why not? Lychee martinis were excellent, Tom Yum was different because not tomato based broth, papaya salad was excellent…I went random and didn’t get the traditional Thai…mine had anchovies, green tea crème brûlée was soooo yummy. Their medium is hot and I loved it. If you aren’t spice crazed, get mild. I like my nose to drip with Asian food lol. Run don’t walk 10/10 I’m going for happy hour next!
So, this Thai food is legit! 😋 I'm Thai and I love finding good Thai food, and this place is amazing! For starters, we got the Yum Pak Boong Krob, which is tempura watercress with shrimp and a sweet and tangy lime dressing. The second dish was Yum Woon Sen, which is spicy glass noodles with shrimp and minced chicken. Moving on to the main course, we had Bamee Pu Moo Dang, which is egg noodles with crab meat and roasted pork on top. My favorite dish was the Kra Pao Crispy Pork It was so flavorful and crispy I highly recommend it! Everything was phenomenon it reminded me of being back in Thailand.
We dined at BKK for the first time this past Thursday night. Pun was our server and he was an absolute pleasure! He was so informative about the entire menu and gave us great recommendations. We had such good conversation with Pun throughout our dining experience. We cannot wait to come back and dine with him again! Thank you Pun❤️
Dinner at BKK was fantastic - we stopped in on our way to the airport. The service was excellent, the food was delicious and the overall experience left us happy that we chose to eat at BKK. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a great meal!
I discovered this spot while heading to Whole Foods to grab a few items during a quick overnight stay in the area. The place looked great, so I decided to order takeout to share with my family back at the hotel. It did not disappoint! Ordering online was super easy, and the menu offered a fantastic variety. We chose sushi and Thai food, and everything was incredible. While waiting for our order, I stopped by the restaurant, sat at the bar, and chatted with the friendly bartender, a recent transplant from Colorado who shared a bit of his story. The hostess thoughtfully asked if we wanted extra chili paste (which was amazing), and of course, we said yes. Overall, it was an excellent experience from start to finish—convenient, delicious, and just a stone’s throw from our hotel. Highly recommend is an understatement!
Such an amazing restaurant with a wide selection of delicious options. Pad see ew is my favorite and they make it to perfection. Their sushi rolls are also so fresh and flavorful. Their staff is very friendly and the entire atmosphere is super welcoming. Will continue to come here whenever I’m craving Thai!
Delicious food and outstanding service! We came here for lunch and were blown away by the flavors—everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly portioned. The lunch menu offers a great variety, including impressive vegan and gluten-free options. A fantastic spot we’ll definitely be coming back to!
Saw this place driving by and decided to give it a try. It just opened and was their second day. So happy that they have authentic Thai menu, hard to find. We decided to have it to go. Very friendly staffs. Food were amazing, papaya salad, best I've ever had. Grilled pork & beef salad were full of flavor. Took pic before & after :-) All gone. Now we have to go back to try the sushi & more of the Thai menu. Some ppl posted sushi pics and they look amazing. Can't wait to go back and dine in. Update We went back to dine in and saw rooftop open, decided to try it. It was a very nice atmosphere, nice breeze & fun experience. Mario bartender was great. Love the happy hours, plus we can order almost all dining menu.
Super fast service, great plating, options, and atmosphere. The roof top was a cool option in the evening and the lighting was perfect. There are 3 television screens for people to watch games on while they dine. I ordered the Spicy Mango Margarita, coconut shrimp, and the BKK roll. The server P Pun was on top of things. I will be sure to come back and send friends this way.
This is by far my favorite restaurant. Ed is always my favorite bartender Very attentive and personable Their Sashimi melts in your mouth. KamaKazi Salad is very fresh and packed with flavor. Hamachi Kami is one of my favorites as well as the Parmesan Scallops. If you want the freshest sushi This is the place to go
Omg! This is a must experience in authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine. Not to mention the rooftop seating and bar. For starters the Chai and Green tea was delicious. The wonton soup taste like it was made from scratch with chicken, shrimp, fresh green onions. The salt and pepper duck was amazing and the shrimp tempura rolls were just amazingly special. As if the experience could get any better you have an option of seating upstairs on the rooftop with a separate bar and an amazing bartender (tell Mee Mee we said hello) overlooking the City. All we can say is wow!
Great experience at BKK Thai & Sushi! The food was excellent, and the service really stood out. Our waiter, Boss, was attentive, polite, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the meal. He made sure everything was just right and checked in at the perfect times without being intrusive. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
Amazing! I will definitely be coming back and with friends / family. From the atmosphere to the service to the food. Kitchen and sushi bar extremely clean, sushi is delicious and delicious on par with good pricing. They have a great bar of both spirits, sake, beer and wine selection. There is also a rooftop bar where you can enjoy a meal anytime or a romantic vibe at night. The service was fast and no errors. I will be coming here again and again after this visit!
We came here on the way to WholeFoods and so glad we stopped in! Mimi, our server, was kind and attentive the whole meal. Made great suggestions and she’s a great server. The food was so fresh and fabulous! I did sushi and a tom yum chicken but next time a full entree. My new favorite Thai place! Check it out, you won’t regret it! We sat on the patio, if you like cars, you can enjoy the view.
Came here while traveling and was worried about stopping in too late but wanted to try before leaving the area because the hotel staff recommended. Everyone was great and the food was pretty good. I liked that there were mocktails and SO many options. I loved the atmosphere and would recommend to those in and visiting the area.
BKK is every bit as good as Cilantro Asian Bistro in Davie, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! The menu offers some unique options, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far. The Hamachi Kama, a perfectly crispy grilled yellowtail jaw with a delicious ponzu sauce, is a standout—I loved it so much I ordered it both times I’ve been. The Hamachi Hotto roll is also a must-try, and I highly recommend it. The Duck Noodle Soup is hearty and flavorful, a perfect comfort dish. And the Red Curry, a classic Thai street food, is something I always go for. The vibe at BKK is relaxed and welcoming, with a breezy second story that’s great for enjoying a meal while watching sports on the TV. Tan, the owner, is super friendly and takes the time to greet his guests—it’s clear he’s passionate about his food and his customers. Definitely a great spot to enjoy some delicious Thai and Asian fusion dishes in a laid-back setting!
Shout out to my new go-to Thai spot for serving up authentic dishes! SomTam Tray is a must. It’s such a great combination with a reasonable price. Scallop appetizer called “white lotus” is AMAZING. Lunch menu available daily and they even have a happy hour!!! Could not recommend it enough :)
Amazing food and outstanding experience. We visited bkk after being regulars at Cilantro and this place exceeded expectation. Authentic Thai food is amazing and the vibe is impeccable. There are multiple bars including a rooftop bar. John took great care of us and gave amazing recommendations! Thanks all! We love it here
Wonderful dining experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. First of all, the establishment itself is beautiful with Bangkok art throughout. There is a rooftop level and a downstairs level and downstairs hosts a sushi bar and cocktail bar. The food was deliciously authentic! We tried the crispy bokchoy, house salad with ginger dressing, a spicy tuna roll, crab fried rice, and chicken pad thai. Every. Single. Dish. Was. Phenomenal! Definitely will make this my regular Thai spot moving forward. Next time, I’m sitting up top!
We got take out here. The drunken noodles were one of the best I’ve had! So flavorful and not greasy at all. We also had the red curry and a sushi roll. All the food was great- highly recommend!
This was my first time going to BKK Cilantro and I had such a great experience. I sat at the rooftop bar upstairs and it was such a nice place to eat at in Fort Lauderdale. The food was very good and I would definitely recommend this food spot! 10/10!!
Very kind staff. Excellent location with free parking. Food is exceptional. We're currently ordering several more dishes to take out because it was so lovely. Happy hour drinks are also available from 9:00 to midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. I only had a beer so I didn't get a chance to try but they look lovely. Another happy addition to South Broward.
Excellent service and excellent food and drinks! We arrived about 20 min early for our 7pm reservation but was greeted promptly and warmly by the staff and got seated right away no problem. Our server got our drink order I went with a lychee martini and she had a slightly dirty martini grey goose for both. We started with the salt and pepper crispy pork belly. Omg delicious very crispy pork belly with a plethora of flavors. She had the coral reef roll and spicy scallop roll which they made for her off the menu as they usually only serve it 1 at a time. She loved it and so did I. I had the pork kra pao medium spicy with 2 eggs. Omg so delicious! The manager Mimi came up after dinner and we talked for a while. She was very sweet and gracious. I usually go to larb thai isan but this restaurant really did such a fantastic job and personally the kra pao to me was better here. Definitely recommend it!
If we could give BKK more than 5 stars, we would! As a couple who spent a month traveling through Thailand, we honestly never thought we’d find a restaurant here that could transport us right back to Chiang Mai, Bangkok and a myriad of other cities and towns but BKK did exactly that. We ordered the Khao Soi, Tom Yum, and the Mixed Vegetable Stir Fry, and every dish was a home run. The Khao Soi was rich, fragrant, and beautifully balanced, comforting in the exact way Northern Thailand does it. The Tom Yum packed that perfect bright, spicy, tangy punch, and the stir fry was fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. A huge shoutout to our server, Pun, who was phenomenal. We asked for recommendations for dishes similar to ones we had in Thailand, even if they weren’t exactly on the menu, and he absolutely nailed it with spot-on suggestions. His knowledge, hospitality, and passion elevated the experience even more. If you’re craving truly authentic Thai food or just want to feel like you’ve hopped on a plane straight back to Thailand, BKK is the place. We already can’t wait to come back! 🌟🇹🇭✨
My husband & I are regulars at Cilantro in Davie so when we heard they were opening BKK Thai, we couldn't wait to check it out & it did not disappoint!!! We tried our regular rainbow roll add cream cheese & it's our new go to location for the best Rainbow Roll in town. We also tried the Pad Thai lunch special which was deliciously lip smacking good! We are looking forward to checking out the roof top bar when it opens up. I'm so excited for this new spot & the staff & owners are so very friendly too. Try it, you won't be disappointed!
Excellent fresh sushi at a very reasonable price! The BKK roll and Sunset roll were tremendous! Sunset roll is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The crispy salmon skin hand roll was perfect. Mimi and Pun took wonderful care of us at dinner and treated us like family. They were attentive, friendly, and took extra time to recommend a dessert that would accommodate our kid’s allergies. The next time I’m in Ft Lauderdale I am absolutely stopping in for lunch or dinner. 10/10
Love every dish!! The food was fantastic with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. ❤️Great service from Tik ! and Cartoon ! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended. ❤️I tried❤️ BKK Taco , Isaan Sausage , Moo Yang ,Yum Nam Khao Tod , BKK salt pepper duck , Salt and pepper , Crispy pork belly , Som Tam tray, Scallop parmesan Kamikaze salad ,Fantasy roll, Sunrise Roll.
The food was absolutely delicious!!! For appetizer we asked for the crab Rangoon and spring roll which were hot fresh and yummy! I also had the torch roll since I am a salmon lover and it did not disappoint! We were greeted with smiles as soon as we walked in the door and the staff is so friendly and very attentive. Pun and Mimi are literally the best you have to request them when you arrive. BEST SUSHI IN FTL. I wish I took photos but it was too good to waste any time. Just come and see for yourself!!!
Super cute interior, they have a very nice upstairs bar if you want to enjoy being outside, they were very accommodating for me being a party of one, with a puppy in a travel crate. The food was so good, had the Thai tofu wrapped dumplings along with , the crispy rice with tuna , my entree was the garlic sauce and I was accommodated to mix chicken with steamed tofu 🤤 was so good ! And the lychee martini was perfect, not too sweet ! I finished off with the mango sticky rice , it was in peek season , sweet tender and warm, perfectly sticky rice with warm sweet coconut and sesame seeds. The biggest compliment to my experience however, was my server Jane, from the very beginning, she was on point, so friendly , professional, she wrapped my whole experience together perfectly, please do visit here because everything was wonderful 💜 the prices were very fair too!
This place has been consistently great whether you wanna hang at the bar for Happy Hour or just find a nice place to chill and soak in the breeze while you drink, eat, and watch people mad at being stuck in traffic. The bartender is ALWAYS EXCELLENT. I'm a sucker for pretty much any sushi, but my partner loves their Thai curry as well!
I went to BKK Sushi with my daughter for my birthday lunch, and it was truly a beautiful experience. She casually mentioned it was my birthday just once and to my surprise, the staff came out at the end singing “Happy Birthday” with the sweetest “cake” made out of orange slices, so thoughtful, especially since I have celiac disease and eat strictly gluten-free. The quality of the sushi was absolutely top-notch, so fresh and flavorful! The service was outstanding and even the owner or manager came by to personally greet us and join in the birthday song. Their kindness, attention to detail, and warm hospitality really made my day. 🥰 Highly recommend!
First time here and this restaurant did not disappoint. The ambience was clean and lighting was perfect and the staff was so friendly. Pun our server was so sweet and gave great recommendations. Mimi was so sweet and talking to her about Thailand was so insightful and now I want to plan a trip!! The food was great, staff is amazing, it just feels so nice to be here. Definitely returning.
We love this place. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Sushi is excellent, and to be honest, there isn’t one dish here that hasn’t been 5 star good!Service is friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. The upstairs outdoor patio is amazing — such a great atmosphere and perfect spot to relax. Definitely coming back…over and over again! FIVE STAR!!
I had a fantastic experience at a Thai restaurant in Fort Lauderdale. The place has a beautiful two-floor setup with stylish decor that sets the mood perfectly. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. Our server, Cartoon, was lively, friendly, and full of great recommendations that did not disappoint. One of the best suggestions was to check out the view from the second floor — I can only imagine how stunning it must be at night. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, warm service, and an incredible atmosphere, this place is a must-visit!

Sat on top floor outside. Waiter was not busy and nearly over attended to us but was kind and helpful. Food is tasty and fresh but not my favorite for comparable Thai restaurants in the area. Prices were a bit high, plenty of selction. Atmosphere was pretty looking out in the open air. Not super crowded on a Friday evening either.
So, after reading all the great reviews, last night’s dinner was a bit of a disappointment—maybe just an off night. We started with the fried bok choy, which tasted good but wasn’t freshly fried—it was warm at best. The eel and avocado roll was mostly rice with very little eel for $10, which felt skimpy. The crab rangoons (five for $11) were mostly cream cheese and not hot, comparable to takeout quality. The service was excellent, and the drinks were well made and enjoyable. For dinner, all three of our dishes were served warm or cold .I had the duck ($36), which was okay but seemed reheated, sitting on a bed of lettuce. For that price, I would have expected at least a proper salad. The rice was also only slightly warm more like cold but food tasted okay. The cashew nut chicken was very flavorful, but again, the dish was mostly cold except for the chicken itself which was warm . The red curry was the standout—probably the freshest and hottest dish of the night. Overall, the service and drinks were great, but the food didn’t meet expectations. Maybe it was an off night, but after the rave reviews, we expected more. The server upstairs did ask us how was dinner and I did tell him it tasted good but everything was cold he said ok smiled n walked away...Overall wasn't worth $260 with tip n 2 drinks each
Save yourself the disappointment!! I tried BKK Thai and Sushi because I was told it was better than my regular, Kubo and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. I was told they did authentic Thai food so I ordered the Isaan and the Khao Soi. These were always our favorites while in Northern Thailand, so I was looking forward to it. The menu states “Chicken thigh with egg noodle”. Expecting pieces of chicken thigh in the curry I opened the pot and found a lonely soggy drum stick drowning in the sauce. It felt I’d been sent a severed limb as a warning to pay the ransom otherwise the rest of the chicken will “sleep with the fishes”. I thought this must’ve been a mistake so as I was only a 2min walk away I went back and said the menu states chicken thigh, and this is what I received, showing them the drum and hoping they’d make it right. All they could say was “sorry, this is how it comes” and I was sent on my way. I went back home and removed the meat from the bone so I could eat my curry. Much to my further dismay, the sauce tasted like it was out of a jar and the noodles had the texture of wet card board. The Isaan couldn’t have been further from authentic. The distinct smell of wet socks was a sign they used too much fish sauce and it tasted like it was made with pork belly that came from a pig killed when Thailand was still called Siam. Safe to say I will never go back to BKK Thai and Sushi. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Kubo.

Waited over an hour for our order and they wouldn’t discount it. It was order for delivery through Grub Hub and grub hub was unhelpful and our order was 2 hours late. Still waiting. Hopefully it gets here and I don’t have to tell some very hungry people their food isn’t coming. Our dog Bean is also very sad her owners are hangry.
