I walked in late afternoon just before closing and the staff was very friendly and highlighted some popular items for me to choose from. I went with the Chizzer cheese steak sandwich. It was a really delicious sandwich. They have screens with pictures of their sandwiches and sides, all looked really good. There is a nice inside and outdoor seating area that are well kept and very pleasant. They included a rewards card for a free sandwich after 10 as well. They close early, so get in before closing! Would definitely recommend Nick's to anyone in the area.

Friendly owner/operators with superb food. The Philly Cheesesteak was sinfully good with fresh peppers and onions and perfectly seasoned steak!. The bread was a fresh soft sub. Loved it! Pro tip: add bacon👌

Walked in with the holiday weekend in mind and mixed up the days on their specials which are of course is a bang for your buck but also a good aid for those who are super indecisive like me. Love it here and can certainly say i won’t stop coming back for some more.

Honestly banger place. Prices are top notch. Food is as homemade tasting as it can get. Their bacon is truly crispy, cheese everywhere, so yummy. Def a spot to stop by and try. Come with no expectations and it will probably blow you away. PERFECT Hangover food. And most importantly the staff was SO nice. Very pleasant people. I wish them the best and we will definitely be coming back.

They provided helpful recommendations and made delicious food, allowing us to dine in and enjoy our meal. The cheesesteak was great and we will be back next time we are in town.

Felt like home. I needed some comfort today and nick’s delivered. Had the breakfast plate. now I’m full and my fix for grits is satisfied. Staff was friendly and I appreciate that they know regulars by name. I will be back!

I've been in Florida for five years, and this is the first shop I've been to where it reminded me of the Philly Cheesesteaks up north. Gale and Kenneth are awesome, very welcoming, and know how to make a sandwich!! Highly recommend.

I've been coming Mr. Nick's for years and the staff is wonderful and the food is great. Love that the selection and the various deals. One of the best spots to eat in Ft. Lauderdale - and it's great to support a LOCAL business.

I was not planning on coming here, but I went to two restaurants close by that were closed and saw this as a last resort - so by sheer coincidence I had the best burger I’ve had in YEARS! These people that look like a family business have got the perfect chill spot selling Fancy restaurant quality, flavor, and love in a place that is reminiscent of a chill old diner. Nothing Fancy crazy or flashy but the Food is on point - it’s like it should be on Diners, Drive-in’s, and Dives or something on the food network for wholesome food. You can probably come here every day for lunch and order the daily special and you won’t break the bank and have tasty food every day. I will be back.

I love Mr. Nicks shop. Its consistently flavorful much better than most sub places for sure. The environment is very welcoming and the people who work here are so sweet. Its an easy place to access even if you aren’t walking distance, as its located right next to the public parking garage. My brother and I go often during our lunch break and its always a great experience!

Nice little sub shop. Service was good and the sandwich was average. Nothing amazing. Turkey roast beef but the roast beef was very fatty.

Food was delivered on a timely fashion, and tasted pretty good. All our subs were 6 inches instead of foot long as expected. But who pays $13.85+tax for a 6” sub? We called the store to clarify, no one seems to remember how to answer the phone over there.

I ate here a couple times last year, food was delicious and quick-got it all the time when I worked nearby. Also they had given us some free delivery coupons which were great. Not sure what happened this time. Girlfriend said guy on the phone sounded like he was on something. Her 6 sub was missing all of the toppings. Whatever, we have some of those at home. Opened up my footlong buffalo chicken sub, and everything was forgotten. No blue cheese (comes standard), no mayo, olives, seasoning, anything we asked for. Didn't even cut the chicken. I needed lunch so ate a $13 "sub" of white bread, 2 whole chicken tenders, a little lettuce and tomato. Had to bring out the cutting board and cut the chicken myself. They did send us a replacement sandwich for my girlfriend, which was nice I guess Also, despite no expiration date on our free delivery coupon, they said it was no longer being honored and had the delivery driver confiscate it. I would have picked almost any other place in the city to spend my $25 on.

I’ve been here twice before and the weight has been long, but it’s completely understandable due to the amount of people I see cooking the food. But I’m very disappointed today because I ordered a breakfast sub expecting it to be done when the estimated time said it was supposed to be. I even came a little later to give a buffer, But I still hadn’t gotten the sub After 25 minutes of waiting. I checked on it twice and they said the reason was because I ordered breakfast during lunch hours, and they’ll get started, it’ll only be a minute. but it just seemed like they completely ignored the order because My order was the last ticket. That just made me 20 minutes late to school. Had I known, I wouldn’t have ordered that, nor would I have waited. It would be best if they would change what is allowed to order at what time on the website,

While visiting home, I decided to go by Mr.Nick's. When I walked in the young gentleman with dreadlocks and the young lady with braids gave me looks as if I was a nuisance for walking in as they sat at the tables by the windows on their phones. Then as I placed my order the older gentleman overheard and had to correct the cashier multiple times on my order. Such as I requested no mayo but the cashier did not know mayo was not on the philly cheesesteak and I requested mustard and the older gentleman again had to ask the cashier to ask what kind of mustard. This all should have been a sign for me to just walk out but I didn't. Just to get my "philly cheesesteak sub" home and discover it was just ground beef in melted cheese!!!! The former owners you received thin steak slices cut up and their subs were delicious. What a shame the food or service isn't anywhere near as good!!!!! Never again 👎
