The bagels are terrific! Staff were friendly and courteous. Really nice menu for breakfast and lunch. Only stopped in for bagels.
Excellent quality bagels and tuna. I had a vegetable tuna melt and my wife had a chive cream cheese bagel. We are from NYC and this bagel place definitely has the closest tasting bagels to NY we found in Florida.
This place is awesome! I enjoyed the deli skillet and bagel. Coffee is great and they kept my cup filled without asking. A happy day that I discovered this place since Broadway Bagels closed this year.
Rob's Bageland is a small chain of Jewish delis owned by Ron and Alicia Elbaum. There are two locations in Coral Springs, one in Tamarac, and this one in Jacaranda Plaza in Plantation. I was shopping in the area and stumbled upon them at lunchtime and I am so glad I did. The atmosphere is a no frills diner with seat yourself booths and tables. The large menu features savory chicken, tuna, and egg salads, premium deli meat sandwiches, homemade soups, corned beef brisket, stuffed cabbage, knishes, and a customer favorite, matzo ball soup. They are well known for their New York-style bagel with their crisp exterior and soft, chewy interior. Everyone here is so friendly. I never had an empty coffee cup or had to wait more than a moment for anything from my cheerful server Rosemary. For lunch I ordered the Reuben and was presented with a sky high sandwich piled with corned beef. It was so delicious and the steak fries served alongside were fantastic too. It was more than I could finish in one sitting. It is easy to see why Rob's is well liked by locals. I thoroughly enjoyed the casual atmosphere, delicious food, and being treated like a welcomed guest.
All I can say is that I’m so glad to have found this place. A real food establishment down to the personalities of the staff. The food tastes incredible and honest prices for what you get. I had a chance to practice with a new camera, photos on a Fuji Film X-T30 II , My IG is at Spartacousart
I wanted a yummy, soft, tasty, savory, flavorful bagel. So I did a google maps search for bagels and found Rob’s Bageland of Plantation I walked in and right at the front was all the bagels I could ever want. I just visited New York and enjoyed a bialy there. So I saw they had bialys and got that. A bialy is like a bagel but thinner and there is some yummy stuff in the middle. David the amazing person behind the counter was very patient as I took a few pix for the review. He answered my questions and even suggested a warming method to preserve the softness of the bialy. I got it with the Special scallion cream cheese. It was soo good ! Little crispy on the outside soft on the inside and the right amount of cream cheese. It hit the spot like a marksman hitting the target. I immediately shared the pix with my family and jumped on here to leave this glowing review.
A real little and delicious corner of New York in Florida. My Mini Nova salmon plate is so delicious and it could be for two persons. Love it!
This plays rated top shelf on all of our criteria. We go to a lot of breakfast places and this meets everyone of our needs great service great food, great people.
Breakfast served with bagel or toast, Grits, oatmeal, hash brown,or fried.. great ham steak. Large, fluffy pancakes. Crunchy french toast very good.
Bagels made in-house fresh delicious locks and creams what else can be said it's just fantastic ! Service was spectacular! Support your small local businesses like this one they deserve it. My lox cream cheese on an everything fresh made bagle is AWSOME!!!!

I love this place. All of the staff are welcoming, and they have the best Asiago cheese bagels. Homestyle meals at an affordable price. There is even a waiter that resembles Joe from impractical jokers....funny enough, his name is Laarrrrrrrrrryyy.
It's more than just bagels here! Enough breakfast options to compete with toojays or flashback diner for a much better price! Their meats are amazingly savory, and they offer goods for sale as well like smoked meats to make your own dishes at home!
I usually stop in after the gym for a Salmon platter which is so good and hearty. French Toast was sooo good. Highly recommend
We love Robs Bageland in Plantation on Sunrise Blvd - they have the best deli food/sandwiches and we also love having breakfast there - their omelets are huge and their bagels are the best! Ask for LARRY - he’s the nicest server, we just love him!! Steph and Jeff
Hidden Diner Gem in an average strip mall. Eggs Benedict were spectacular. Had the Nova Benedict and boy were they good
Absolutely delicious! 5 stars on the French toast and even the pancakes!! Amazing service every time!
Purchased a turkey club sandwich and it was awesome. I mean really really good. The young lady with the stylish hair who took my order was all so very kind. Thank you again.
Best bagels in South Florida and it's not close. Wish they had one a little south of this location. Davie, Cooper City or Pembroke Pines would be great!
Great food and excellent tnservice. Very friendly and reasonably priced. Some of the best bagels in South Florida
Great service. Not only was the food out quickly but also exactly as ordered. Delicious and served with a smile. Great selection of deli goods also on top of the wonderful selection on their menu.
I love this place!!! Great service, great food and prices are decent. I’ve had breakfast & lunch here can’t go wrong with either one.
Great place for breakfast. I just ordered some takeout bagels, and the young woman behind the counter was very nice and helpful. The bagels were very good. Would definitely recommend.
This place is super good. The service is top notch and the breakfast is perfect and big portions. You will not regret going here to eat.
If you’re Northern Tristate area transplant, and you’re jonesing for some REAL Bagels (water bagels) THIS is the place ! I was gonna go on and on about the pumpernickel but then there’d be none for me…oops! Try a tie die Egg Bagel, we eat with out eyes first! Groovy!
BEST DELI IN SUNRISE , LAUDERHILL, TAMARAC, BY FAR! I apologize for yelling.I just wanted to tell everyone alexander I was. They had the best selection of hot breakfast and the fluffiest omelets i've ever had. To my total surprise, for someone who doesn't eat tuna. They have the best I've ever eaten. Get it by the pound because you won't be able to stop eating it. It's amazing! The manager is great, and on Tuesday's Dave is there, tell him Keith sent you. if you make it out to Coral Springs, please stop by their other location and say hello to Samantha in Lakeview !
Tried this place for the first time, AMAZING! I believe it was the owner who I did my ordering with, super friendly; great charisma, felt like I already been coming there for years. I love their breakfast mess sandwich with the breakfast potatoes. Service is excellent and quick, the place is nice and clean and inviting, my absolute new favorite breakfast spot!
Great place for breakfast. Service is outstanding specially Guy in charged of coffee and water. Food is very fresh. Bagels and black and white cookies are superb
A go-to for Sunday after mass. Excellent food and excellent service. I've never been disappointed there. Make sure to let the "whiskey" man that you're ready for a refill of the good stuff :)
Super nice people behind the counter! Gave me the quarter I was short to get a super hero sticker for my son. Going to try food when I get home, if no update it means food was delicious.
Want to be treated real but in a loving way, this is your place. The whiskey (coffee) is always good and ready to go. The selection is great. They don't pull punches, they will let you know what items aren't made in house so you set the right expectations mentally. They don't care how you feel about artisan nonsense, just that you care about eating well, being comfortable and coming back for more good times.
Good amount of people @ 10am on a Tuesday. One main server for the dining area and she was awesome. Took the time to be warm and friendly while still being efficient. Def made it feel homey. The gentleman walking coffee around was referring to it as “whiskey”. 😂 Could have used more refills during the meal; but to be fair, I was rifling through it. My basic breakfast (over medium eggs, buttered toast, bacon and grits) came out in minutes. Was especially delicious and inexpensive. Didn’t get any of the bagels, a future stop for such will def be worth it.
Three of us were there...Breakfast for me was phenomenal; my friends ate Lunch and they loved it. It was the first time for them and they definitely would come back here ***** they are Open early for Breakfast, and Lunch, but Close every day at 2:00 p.m.
Just can't beat this place for breakfast. I've been coming here over 10 years now for the breakfast special. Always yummy and a good deal. Today I was surprised to see an expanded menu including Captain Crunch French Toast, and yes it has Crunch Berries. :) Delicious. Rob's continues to be my favorite breakfast place. Quick service and great food.
These are the BEST bagels in South Florida! They are always fresh and delicious The staff members are very helpful and attentive too!
This is the BEST bagel/restaurant ever!. Been to Coral.Springs one many times and was sooo happy there was one in Plantation. The food here is consistently very good and fresh. The personnel is friendly and wonderful. I cannot find one thing wrong with this most happy place. We love coming here..you will too. You can't beat it for breakfast or lunch. The soups are very very good also. 🙂
Excellent deli. Great chopped liver. Go every Wed. morning for breakfast, good food wonderful service. Try the cuke salad it is very special. My daughter ordered a Greek Salad to take home. Very large, fresh, wonderful.
I cannot describe in enough detail how much I love this place. We come here for bagels and breakfast whenever we can. Large portions for great prices. I recommend all of their locations to everyone. Better than original house of pancakes, Denny's, IHOP, Lester's, and ever other diner I can think of.
Awesome place staff and food is outstanding PLEASE don't visit i need to have a table available at all times always crowded so yummy
Food is great, bagels are fresh and hot, staff are friendly and accommodating, you really feel comfortable. Best little place around, once you go there, there really is no place else to go
Not our usual, very nice options for sides and good selection of bagels.
Rob's Bageland in Plantation is a long-time beloved family owned restaurant serving up classic New York-style bagels, breakfast, and deli options. Known for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and generous portions, this spot is a go-to for locals looking for a hearty breakfast or lunch. There is also a great Kids Menu too. Located in the Jacaranda Plaza off Sunrise Boulevard just West of University Drive, Rob’s Bageland has a warm laid-back vibe that makes you feel welcome. The staff is friendly, often remembering regular customers by name. This place is busy open every day from 6:45 to 2pm. The bagels here are the real deal—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. There is a large “Deli Case Display” full of homemade dishes and the finest slices of meat and more. While the food and service are excellent, the restaurant itself has a no-frills, old-school diner feel with basic décor. Since Rob's Bageland is such a local favorite, it can get busy during peak hours, especially on weekends. The wait for a table or takeout can sometimes be longer than expected, but the food is worth it. Rob’s Bageland of Plantation is a must-visit for Breakfast and Lunch you will not be disappointed.
First time getting takeout from Rob's. The recommendations were spot on! I had 12 members of extended family in one house to feed. Bagels and spreads from Rob's kept everyone happy!
That was the best omelette I have ever eaten! It came with the vegetables that I love and that included asparagus! I asked to interchange the cheeses. I wanted feta and it was easily done. The potatoes were the best they were crispy and delicious. I am also gluten-free and did not get sick eating there. My friend had a bagel and said it was one of the best bagel he’d eaten all in all a great experience. The staff was wonderful. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the restaurant. I will be back.
BEST breakfast in the area! I always get a bagel with cinnamon smear - unreal! The lunch menu is always a hit, too. Service is fast & so friendly.
I ordered a large order to go for my daughter’s birthday party. The rainbow bagels were such a hit! Bob who helped me was kind, customer centric, and seemed appreciative of the order. I had called a few other places and surprisingly, no one seemed that interested in a larger order. When I spoke to Bob, it was welcoming and we’d certainly go back!
Great Little new york style deli. The low fat tuna salad may be the best I've ever had

Diner style restaurant that has an extensive menu ranging from breakfast to lunch items. The staff members are friendly. The food is good. The coffee is bottomless. When at bageland, try the bagels there are a variety.
First time here... Rosemarie was our waitress... friendly and always on top of things. Coffee always hot and refilled . Had the Rob's Big Breakfast and it was very satifying.

Food used to taste much better. Not sure if something changed with getting more business and rushing the food out. What brings the business in is what’s needed to keep it. Great tasting food
Prices a bit high, but very good service.
My first visit-(thought they were like an Einstein bagel place which is why I never gave them a chance in 5 years) They are Awesome!!! Food is incredible 😋 staff is hard working and very pleasant. Prices are very fair not like other more expensive places- Definitely my new favorite breakfast place and I have high standards for both good quality food and service!!!
Fantastic. Great service. Great food. For $8.99 I had the Lox Bagel platter. I got an entirely separate full plate of peppers and onions and lettuce and a bunch of other stuff including the Lox and cream cheese plus a fresh Bagel to put it all on. Oh yeah Tomatoes 2. It was amazing and I'm from NYC and I give this place five stars
Great little deli/restaurant. Bagels are fresh. Meals are filling. Prices are real good. $4.99 all day specials. Thick french toast. The staff is friendly and it's a regulars kind of spot. Can't wait to try lunch and melts.
Deb and Madeline are great waitresses. Very Friendly and take great care of you while you there. The food is good and doesn't take long to get made and brought to your table. Gui the bus guy is very helpful, friendly, and makes sure you have plenty of coffee throughout your visit.
Food is good and fairly priced. Staff is always polite friendly and attentive.
I had a pleasant visit, arriving At 11:30am greeted by a friendly face(cashier) waitress #4 and bus boy was very friendly. Clean! I ordered build your own omelet, grits and lightly toasted garlic bagel with a tall glass of water, order was nice and hot,the cream cheese very smooth and creamy the bagel was so delicious, soft, fresh and practically melts in your mouth. I have not tasted a bagel like this before.comparing to all others Bagelland is the best!
Good food for an average (doesn't break the bank) price. It's a place you can still find a really good Bagel.
I had the Nova plate which was delicious. My hubby had the pastrami sandwich that was so low fat it was tasteless. When asked for pickles, we’re told they ran out? Odd considering it’s a Jewish deli. We’ve come here for years but like many places, prices are high and quality isn’t what it used to be. Please bring the pickles back!
As a recently transplanted new Yorker my expectations were maybe too high for a NY style bagel, not bad but more like middle of the road.
Nice employee's, basic diner menu including breakfast and lunch. Over priced for the basic food. I ordered half order of biscuits and gravy and bagel and it was 12.00. When I came with family you can easily spend over 40 just on 3 people for breakfast, which is too much as nothing special about food or place. You can get same type of food at Denny's for half the price. Sorry, but 1 biscuit isn't worth $7 ridiculous
I spend over $32.00 and the young men wouldn't give a piece of bread at no charge. I bought the delicious Brisket, over a pound at $18.99 a pound, no ajou , and the Matza Ball soup which wasn't even filled to the top with just 2 balls and again not enough soup in to fill the container at $8.99. To the owner, Mr. Guy must one day be a waiter, he is always #1 and first to serve!

VERY disappointed in this place that used to seem to give generous servings. My 14.99 Nova Platter was sliced way too thin, the bagel was small and they have gone to one tomato slice (I have 2 bagel halves) and want to up-charge $1 for an additional slice?!? Their GREAT staff was embarrassed and all said they were powerless to do anything and suggested this review. I HATE an owner that runs a place on the cheap and puts his entire staff through this! FIFTEEN dollar breakfast plus coffee and cannot get a slice of tomato? Owner...WAKE UP man!
Coming back after pandemic we were rushed out of the restaurant and the woman that was closing that day was cursing non stop and didnt care that patrons were there and the young man behind the cash register didnt feel that it was imporrant for him to wear a mask despite everyone else having to. Our waitress was the only saving grace to our experience. I was extremely disappointed especially having been a patron for many years.
I'm giving it one star for the gentleman who goes from table to table offering whiskey (more coffee) and who gave us more service than our server. He's a joy, seems to be the only one keeping control in a hectic environment and the only one who gets it. Whatever he gets paid, he deserves more. The other star is because the omelette wasn't awful. Wasn't great either but hash browns are inedible. It's a shame we don't have a really spectacular deli in west Broward.
The only reason I’m giving more than one star is because I actually like this place and their food. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years with my family and just recently I have had a bad experience every time I go in, just for a pickup order. Whoever the young girl is that they have working their front desk has managed me to help me leave in an unpleasant mood every time I’ve been assisted by her. I wasn’t aware it was part of good customer service to be snarky to paying customers. Not once, but three times have I been greeted by her without a smile or welcoming approach. Not to mention the underlining attitude she gives you when you ask her something. I tend to go in on a short work break and don’t expect in that short time to be rattled by some employee that seems to dislike her work position or quite frankly just customers in general. The fact that I ordered just a bagel online to ensure it would be ready and arrived 5 mins after the 20 mins asked and it still wasn’t ready, blew my mind. I would suggest giving her a little retraining on being an advocate for customer service rather than deterring your customers away.
Went here for take out the first time today after driving by almost daily for the last year. Ordered bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel with home fries. Unfortunately the sandwich was made with cheap liquid eggs that didn’t have much flavor ( cooked very thin and folded up like McDonald’s infamous folded eggs), bacon was low quality with a mild flavor and the bagel itself was lackluster with a texture closer to regular bread than a properly made bagel. On top of it all they charge you a 4% fee if you pay with a card which is outrageous to pass that fee on to the consumer like that, I don’t know how they’ve been around for this long but their days are probably numbered since much better options are literally right around the corner.
Arrived at 2:40 pm today (Sunday) and was promptly told they closed in 15 minutes. Being in a restaurant, I thought it would not affect the service. I was wrong. The waiter was very snappy when trying to take our order twice, and ultimately at 3:03 pm asked to close out the bill for the register while we were still eating. I have never been rushed in a restaurant before and certainly never nudged 3 minutes after closing. It certainly will be in my mind when choosing where to go in the future as I don’t support places run properly.
The bagels were not fresh they look like they've been laying around all day and they tasted like something you bought from a supermarket not real good BJ's wholesale has better bagels
Normally, I just only buy the bagels and the smears that go with it. If you're lucky enough to get the good bagels in time. After a certain point in the morning, the options are iffy. It's a timing thing. It's usually busy, but the good stuff only lasts if you can come early enough. I never really sat down to eat, however, but I've been on the hunt for a good breakfast. Rob's big breakfast is what seems like the main option as a breakfast platter. I know this place is known for their Ruben sandwiches and bagels to go, but this is a breakfast place, and it should have a good breakfast. This was not it. Systematically, the whole thing screamed mediocrity... My eggs were supposed to be country scrambled (scrambled in the pan), but this was traditional scrambled (prewhisked with cream). It had no seasoning whatsoever. I know there's salt and pepper on the table, but I can guess why they didn't add any at first because the bacon was super salty. It had this weird appearance that made it look raw with the lack of color, but it was rigid and oddly crispy despite its look. It was greasy, but had that air fryer texture to it. The sausages were sad. Small, dry, and slightly overcooked with no snap at all. The ham looked like it was taken out of some prepackaged deli slices they sell as lunch meat. It had a peculiar chewiness to it that made me wonder why? One or two slices of Canadian ham would have been a better alternative to this Lunchables meat. The oatmeal was alright, but it was practically nuclear as it scorched the crap out of my mouth. They sent my cinnamon raisen bagel to hell. Must have forgotten it in the toaster or something because it came back from the beach with a sunburn. God damn, this was burnt. The raisins were about to become ashes. No mercy was given. The waitress never checked up on me. The guy refilling coffee skipped me multiple times, and I didn’t get refilled at all until after I asked for a check. The refill was also stale. As the kids say, this meal was pretty mid. For the entire price of coffee and breakfast, it came out to 24 bucks. With inflation, these are typical prices for the majority of breakfast places, but this is not worth me dining in for. Which is sad, because I know this place could be better. Or maybe it's better for certain clientele. I'm not making any kind of claims, but this place seems to be particularly better for a few demographics of people that I won't slander. I would rather be wrong on this, but it is what it is. 🤷 My advice? Come in really early for the bagels, or if you come in late, then try their sandwiches. Skip the rest.
They forgot my order and it wasn’t even busy. They don’t toast the bread or put anything on the pastrami sandwich. It’s just supermarket bread with pastrami.

Loved this place until today. Sat down with my family, waited 15 mins before we got up and left. 4 couples came in after us, all received a warm welcome, coffee, and a menu. We didn't even get a "Hi". Thanks Rob's.
So so not worth the time or money. I remember back when my grandparents where alive we'd do Saturdays after Tempel...in the 1990s the owner was a Big Mouth show off with fancy cars Today the foods isn't worthwhile while we where down visiting SAD Cutting corners right down to the cheap toilet paper & no soap in the restroom didn't we just get out of a global pandemic
I was once a long time patron. My family and I will never return to this place ever again, which is a real shame because we've been coming for so long. The manager needs to be fired asap (don't know her name because she flat out refused to come to our table even after being asked to by both the waitress and the busser. She's a spanish woman with black hair). She flat out refused to do her job as a manager and showed blatant disrespect to both customer and staff alike. I hope Rob reads this review and promptly fires her before he loses any more long time customers.
If I could give -1 stars I would. HORRIBLE!! DON'T EAT HERE!! I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich on a bagel with eggs and sausage and it arrived undercooked. Bagel was hard. Hot chocolate was made with water and out of the Swiss miss package. The potatoes were completely inedible and burnt and charred! Horrible food. Very disappointed. I have had better food at the hospital where I work. If I didn't take it to go and check the bag at home I would have brought the food back for a refund. I will not be going back and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Came in at 11am on a Sunday morning, 2 servers which were way over their head. Completely out of bagels at 11:30? How is this possible? You are in season and church is just out so the place got even busier after we arrived. Bagels tasted like they were made from croissant dough, a toasted bagel shouldn’t be flaky. The best thing about this place was the bus boy who did most of the work cleaning tables and helping customers with drinks. Will never be back!!! Save your money and drive by to the next bagel shop.
Placed an order and half of the order did not show up correct. The manager insisted that we ordered wrong and that the price we got was with tax but that did not align with the receipt that we were given. Manger was hostile and did not want to fix the order or make adjustments for THEIR mistake, he was extremely rude and does not belong in customer service. Will never order there again Broadway Bagels is better anyway.
I come here twice a week to get a bagel with lox, cream cheese, and onion, never had a problem. Today Reg, made two bagels for me but he used Lox spread. After realizing this miscommunication I went back in and said to Reg, "I'm sorry but I think we had a miscommunication, I asked for lox, sour cream, and onion, and you gave me Lox spread. He said that I asked for Lox cream cheese, so I told him "look there clearly was a miscommunication can I get new ones? He said "I gave you what you asked for" and refused to make new ones. So I said " I don't want to argue anymore, please get me a manager", after he had me stand on the side for several minutes, he continued to argue with me. I said "There was a miscommunication, you are blowing out of proportion, and please get me the manager." He said "I am the manager..." I will never come here again. Ps my mom died this morning, nice to be treated this way by a total stranger
The only reason why I gave it a 1 star is because you can't give no stars. Been here twice with my family. Food is AMAZING !! BUT SERVICE is horrible ! ! I was just there with my family seated. We waited 15 minutes for someone to serve us. Noone came. While waiting, people came in and sat themselves and got served right away... I highly recommend ordering out from here..
We try this place for a 2nd time and they gave us a lil sample of the white fish to try n they was a hair in it. The 1st time my mom find a hair on her plate with her food. We will never go there again.
This will be the last time I ever order from this restaurant and I hope this review will encourage others to not support this business either. My main issue wasn't the fact that they cheated my exact same order for the 2nd time(the 1st time I truly believed was just an oversight but after 2x you realize it's intentional and their way of saving costs)My main issue is the condescending, rude, and interrupting poor excuse and failing miserably at his job manager named Ben. Ben does not know his own menu and wants to argue and rudely interrupt his customers when they complain that for the 2nd time their order is missing items. I ordered a 1st cut 9oz corned beef sandwich that clearly states in their online menu on their own website that it comes with a potato latke for the approximate price of just under $17. That is not a cheap sandwich. I also look forward to having the latke with it. Today I called and asked to speak to the manager(Ben) about why my order is once again missing the item it clearly states online that it comes with. He proceeds to argue with me as well as rudely interrupt , and proceeds to tell me that it gives me the option of 3 choices for my side and I didn't pick one so they just threw coleslaw in the container. Well that's simply not true and again Ben doesn't know his own online menu. Ben is correct about some of the sandwiches on their online menu & order form giving you the option to choose your side, but this particular sandwich does not. The only thing you can choose is the type of bread and whether you want 6oz or 9oz. It ALWAYS comes with a latke and does not offer you the option of a side choice. Now keep in mind this is set up like this on their own website and online ordering. I invite Ben to learn his online website order system so that next time he be more prepared in his knowledge before being condescending & rude to a customer that just paid $17 for a sandwich that is supporting his business that keeps him employed. I rarely would ever comment on this stuff but I work in this industry and have for over 20 years, and am very well aware of a business that appreciates and respects their customers and the ones that don't and are trying to pull one over on the customer as well as use short cuts to chop down their food cost by cheating the customers. Btw there wasn't even 1 packet of mustard in the bag, nor a napkin or utensil. Again I work in this industry so I understand not over doing the condiments, napkins, utensils etc because it can be wasteful and costly to a business especially right now with the pandemic, BUT at least give the customer 1 of each. I also have to say that the quality of corned beef has declined since I first started coming here. The meat had absolutely no flavor which is not normal for corned beef. It's a shame to see a business that used to be very good has allowed their quality of food and management go completely down hill. It's those things that put places out of business. There are too many other delis & restaurants around to not treat customers with consideration and respect. This business is essentially stealing from their own clientele & cheating then to save money internally. Oh yeah I almost forgot the best part. At the end of my conversation Ben tells me next time I order online that I need to call the restaurant and tell them to put the latke in the order.😳🤣 Ok so now I need to call the restaurant and tell them what their job is and how to do it. This kind of defeats the purpose of placing an online order doesn't it? Isn't that your job Ben? To learn your own menu and what comes with what as well as train your staff to know that? Your team is only as good as your management so that speaks volumes about why I'm missing items for the 2nd time. Well it's never going to happen Ben, because I will never order from you again. I will also be sharing this review on other sites, my social media, and telling as many people as possible. Hopefully next time Ben might be a little more respectful of his patrons.
The breakfast food is good. The service is a bit iffy. The deli food is not very good. They advertise Carnegie Corn Beef. I had eaten Carnegies Corn Beef for many years, and it was the best. Carnegies went out of business several years ago, and what they are calling Carnegies, is just using the name. The corn beef is not very good. Their prices are high and then they add a 4% convenience charge if you use a credit card. This is a business expense and is included in their high prices. it would not surprise me if they tried to add an electrical charge or a cleaning charge. Even the packaged corn beef at B Js is better. The best corn beef in the area is at Pomperdales on Commercial in Ft Lauderdale. They were out of Pickles, but did not give a discount because of this.
I ordered takeout and not only did it take 40 minutes to make 2 sausage sandwiches but they were made incorrectly I called directly after opening the package and was told there is nothing they could do that mistakes happen. I asked to just refund my money back to the card and was informed that they cant do that.
I’ve been going to that place for a long time, even though it’s been a long time, since I’ve been there… I sat down and I explained to the waitress, I just wanted two pancakes and some eggs along with bacon. She explained , sounds like you want the such & such slam. Kinda like a value slam at Denny’s for $5.79 (ish), so I went on to eat my breakfast not thinking about the bill, and then it arrived… It was $18.79 for the pancakes bacon and two eggs with a cup of coffee, so before tip it was almost $20 -for a breakfast actually should cost half the price … and to boot, the pancakes were not good at all. They were dry thin and without butter. So, I just want to warn anybody if you’re trying to save some money, but you want to eat some good pancakes -just go to Denny’s, don’t make the same mistake. I did walk out paying $24 for breakfast, and regrettably could not leave the TIP I normally would, and I wanted the cheapest/or close to that they basically had, that’s all. Sorry if I offend anyone just wanted to put my experience down for all to see. :(
I usually don't engage in such writings of reviews but this must be shared. My hubby and i went in today for brunch. i ordered a Greek salad with bagel chips minus the onion and he ordered a chicken salad with Swiss cheese on a bagel. (I'm writing this so the owner knows full well where this review came from). Our food arrived, mine with onion his without cheese. No problem, waitress took the salad to remove them. (This is when the no cheese was discovered). The salad arrived again, very disorganized. I had a suspicion that it was the very same salad "pawed" over to remove the onion and it was. There were bits of missed onion throughout it. At this point my husband called over the waitresses showed her the onion. She stated "The owner made this salad" and asked if i would like something to replace it, I stated no thank you. This burnt me up. I had it removed from the table and off the bill. My hubby reluctant finished his lunch on my insistence. Now, I understand food costs are high. Don't offer it on your menu. When a person does not eat onion, they especially do not eat red onion! I went to go pull off the onion when it arrived the first time but there were not only rings of onion, there were diced pieces throughout the salad. As an owner, this situation should have never happened. I own a business and customers ARE #1... without customers we would not be in business...especially a restaurant. The mere fact that THE OWNER PAWED THROUGH MY SALAD TO REMOVE ONION and send it back out to me, lacked humility and was appalling. We have been going here for a few years and you have now really put your food costs higher because you have lost two customers for sure.
Dirty, is all I can say. Been here twice and always out of everything bagels. Servers were nice but $8 for coffee and a bagel with cream cheese. No taste to the bagel or cheese.
Been passing by for a year now and I said to my husband....let's finally try it. The food was so bland....no flavor at all. I also got a terrible feeling once I went to pick up and the man behind the cashier was not wearing gloves, proceeded to swish whatever crumbs were all over the food prep station. Must be a trend because those crumbs were everywhere all over the floor behind the cashier. I wanted to get a refund because it was soooo nasty that they could do that....what makes me think their kitchen was any cleaner. I could barely eat my food thinking of how dirty the floor was and the station that my food was prepared on. Also, if you want to catch cancer on the way in from the amount of people canoodling and smoking cigarettes right in front of the door....be my guest but I will not be returning.
Good service. Terrible food. Home fries came to the table burned and when i mentioned this to the server, her response was "they either come like that or sometimes they don't". The eggs were slightly over cooked. Meal wasn't enjoyable...and my wife said we'd should never eat there again.
The service was absolutely horrible. If you’re black they’ll literally ignore you. I came to enjoy some breakfast and as I walked into this establishment there is a sign that says “seat yourself”. I waited ten minutes at the table and absolutely no one walked up to my table. I had to call and place my order over the phone. I told him I was forced to place my order over the phone because no one had acknowledged me and as I was explaining what happened there was no remorse or an apology just pure excuses. I also waved to him so he could see I was physically here. After I placed my order with him he made a sarcastic remark and said “see you soon”. So because the workers at the establishment wanted to be rude, after I placed my order over the phone my plan was to wait patiently for them to make it and after I waste their time and resources I was going to walk out. But of course they gave me the food for free. And of course the food was disappointing and bland. Avoid this place save yourself the headache.
Been going to this restaurant for 5years. Today was my last day. I ordered a cheese and tomato omelet, and it came out after twenty minutes, almost well done. And burnt. If you know anything about eggs, once they are overcooked, they have no taste. I picked apart my omelet trying to find a piece that was not burnt. After five minutes, I gave it back to the waitress and said this is not cooked well and chose to just eat my bagel. Here's where it gets interesting, getting to the checkout line. I shared with the owner that I did not care for my omelet. And that the $14 omelet should be taken off my bill. At that point, the owner started arguing with me.Saying I ate half of it, and that he's not going to remove. Arguing with me telling me that I should have gotten something else. I told him I was picking it apart.Trying to find a place that was not burnt. He said, I saw what you did to the omelet and it looks like you ate three quarters of it. I laughed, and I said, being here for 5 years and one time letting you know that my omelet wasn't cooked, right? And you're arguing with me over taking it off the bill. Nice to know that the customers are always wrong in this restaurant. That's probably why, on a sunday morning at nine thirty. He has half of the restaurant open for tables. Beware.
I only got take out and was only there 2 seconds. I ordered 1/4 lb chicken salad and 1/4 lb egg salad. When I got out to my car I went to eat them bc I was really really hungry. I was very disappointed. Both egg salad and chicken salad were horrible. Absolutely 0 flavor - none. And how about no mayonnaise at all? So how do you have chicken salad with no mayonnaise? I don't even know how that's possible to eat..... So, just figuring - as my mom used to say, God rest her soul "well, cross that place off the list".....(Besides, the menu prices looked very expensive as well)
