We live nearby and are so glad we finally made it to this restaurant! Cozy atmosphere, crisp white tablecloths, and attentive service. The food was excellent too (I really enjoyed the salmon carpaccio). We’ll definitely be coming back!
Gorgeous little spot with a wonderful, intimate ambiance and delicious food. The service was first class, and every course was flavorful. The pizza choices have me eager to come back to try the rest on a casual night, while main entrees each look qualified for a special occasion (or just dinner). Prices aren't cheap, but not unreasonable, especially for the quality. Not easy to get to, but parking is reasonable. Looking forward to a return.
Cafe Vico is has some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Great for large corporate or family functions and has a warm atmosphere for a date or two. The moment you walk in you feel like family and the ambiance is great for date nights. The food is well portioned and the staff are very knowledgeable about the wine selection which makes a novice like me very grateful. Will always choose Cafe Vico first whenever I'm in the area and want some authentic Italian food. Had the Porterhouse with Alfredo on the side and was delicious. Don't pass of the opportunity to try good food at Cafe Vico. Not a sponsor, just a man who loves to eat great food.
INCREDIBLE!!! Cafe Vico came highly recommended by a local. We loved it so much, we went back the next night for another sensational dinner. Shout out to our server Danny! He was fantastic and knew his way around the menu like he created it. The seafood spaghetti was out of this world! We had an array of dishes and would order everything agin and against highly recommended food!
I have eaten at this place 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Truly amazing! I haven’t enjoyed an Italian restaurant this much since Mama Mia’s at Young Circle closed. 🙏🏾 So delicious, to the point that I might be on my way there after I finish writing this review. Unbelievable ambience. Piano music is relaxing, and staff’s customer service is superb. Happy hour is something I’ve yet to experience here, but look forward to it just by the looks of the menu. I definitely plan on having my birthday dinner here. 🥳🎂 Jackson and Latauro were very helpful in making suggestions off the menu. I’ve had the seafood ravioli, the chicken fettuccine, salad, and more. You have to try this restaurant.
I attend the weekly Rotary Luncheon at Cafe Vico and the food and service are always first class. Chef Marco and his team go out of their way to make us feel so welcomed. They are the best.
I went to this Italian restaurant for a friend’s birthday, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the fresh pasta to the flavorful sauces, everything tasted homemade and authentic. We also shared a few desserts, and they were the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend for a cozy night out or a special celebration!
This hidden gem features fine Italian cuisine in a quaint environment with semi-private areas for groups and families. Hidden in the corner of a small shopping center the restaurant has excellently food variety and friendly staff. The service is exceptional and you get treated like family from the minute you walk in. No stone gets unturned and you get things your way no matter if celebrating a special occasion or just splitting a salad with your spouse. We’ve tried a few of the appetizers and the calamari is our favorite. Can’t go wrong with any of the entrees and depending on preference you can order seafood ravioli or classic chicken or veal Parmesan. Wine selection is also great.
I am a seafood girl from MA and love my seafood. The Seafood Pasta came highly recommended and it didn't dissapoint...I had to force myself to stop eating it to save room for the Home Made Tirramisu. This is a restaurant I plan to revisit when we go to Ft Lauderdale. The food and atmosphere is AMAZING, and the owner himself makes his way around to all the patrons and makes you feel as if he's welcoming you to his Home. We had an amazing birthday celebration with my Mom.
Huge menu selection, live music, large drink selection as well. There was a large group of us and everyone loved their meals. Excellent service too. One of the best Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale!
Wonderful little gem! My first time here, we celebrated a birthday, and it was the best Italian food I had in many moons! Fresh, delicious, good portions, service was great, atmosphere amazing.. I will definitely go back to Cafe Vico!

Hands down the best Italian food in South Florida! From the incredible quality of the dishes to the warm and attentive service, this restaurant truly stands out. Today, our office ordered Friday lunch for delivery, and it was nothing short of perfection. The food arrived fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—it felt like we were transported to an authentic Italian kitchen. We shared dishes family-style, sampling each other’s plates, and every bite was absolutely divine. It turned our typical workday into a joyful gathering, filled with laughter and delicious food. Whether you’re dining in, ordering takeout, or enjoying delivery, this place nails it every time. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We couldn’t be happier and can’t recommend this gem enough. Do yourself a favor—order today or stop by for an unforgettable Italian experience! I ordered Zappa Di Pesce one of my favorites.

Cafe Vico is a fantastic Italian Restaurant. Been there several times. Always friendly and capable staff. Always consistent high quality Italian food. Great place for large parties. Gets really busy so definitely make a reservation. Vico himself has been there every time I've visited, he's a pure gem of the restaurant industry.
I usually come disappointed to any Italian place because my standards for food is pretty high. But this place has pleasantly surprised me. From the carpaccio to their bolognese, it was like being back to Italy. House Malbec was delicious. Dessert was sublime. Profiteroles are easy to make but also easy to mess up, BUT they did a wonderful job. I wish I can remember the name of our server (he checked up on us enough but not too overbearing. Just perfect). Water was always refilled (bussers were professional as well), will be back for sure.
I loved everything about the restaurant. Fernando was an outstanding server and very informative. I sat at the bar. I had the chicken Marcella & Caprese salad. The chocolate martini was the perfect dessert. Highly recommend and I definitely will be going back
I went to Cafe Vico for the second time last night and CAN'T WAIT to go again! The food is SPECTACULAR and the service is SUPERB. Our water glasses were continuously refilled, wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the food is so fresh and tasty and well prepared. The menu has numerous choices of classic Italian dishes and homemade pastas. Three of us have gotten the Seafood Spaghetti - a specialty dish - which includes lobster meat, crab meat, and shrimp in a delicious pink sauce. The seafood in this dish is so fresh and tender and plentiful, the sauce is savory, and the spaghetti is a thick homemade noodle - this all comes together perfectly and is served hot and made to order. Cafe Vico is now my favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!! Try it out - buon appetito!!
This used to be one of our absolute favorite spots when we lived closer, and even now being about an hour away we were excited to return after a few years, especially for the lasagna, which is still amazing. Unfortunately, the service on this visit was disappointing. Our waiter seemed confused about our order and completely missed putting in the appetizers. We were the only ones at the table ordering them, but he assumed it wasn’t happening and never followed up. It was a frustrating misunderstanding, especially for someone who had been looking forward to this dinner for so long. What should have been a special night ended with me feeling hungry and let down. The food remains top-notch, but the service needs serious improvement to match the quality of the kitchen. We truly hope this was a one-off experience, but it certainly affected our overall impression. (Group of 6 people for my husbands 40th birthday)
I started coming to Cafe Vico when it first opened as a tiny one bay restaurant. The owner has transformed it into an Italian Paradise. The food selection is exquisite and the quality is exceptional. I’ve never had anything but an exceptional Meal here. The service is perfect and it’s experience You don’t want to miss. It’s kind of pricey, but it’s worth every penny.
Excellent ambiance.personalized service! Quality, consistently great meats, seafood and prices! Cater to small and bigger groups!
Happened to stumble across this restaurant .I had the chicken parmesan it was one of the best I've ever had before so juicy flavorful my tongue and taste buds were doing the Electric Slide. The only thing that I wish was that they gave a regular size portion to the pasta which was probably maybe a 2/3 of a cup but it was still delicious you can definitely tell that their sauces are made from scratch I would definitely come here again I highly recommend this place and the Malbec wine had was so delicious and let's not even mention the cake that I brought home 10 out of 10 I definitely rate this a five-star
Cafe Vico is one of our favorite spots in all of Ft. Lauderdale. My wife and I discovered this spot on our honeymoon years back. The atmosphere with live entertainment is awesome, and the service is fantastic. My wife swears by their lasagna as one of the best around. All around great dining experience.
First Time dining there this evening, was a fantastic experience! Highly recommend this restaurant. Food, service and the music were great.
Been a fan of Cafe Vico’s for many years. Love their restaurant plus delivery is quick so food arrives hot. Eggplant Parm and Veal Picatta are among our favorites but the meatballs and pasta are also excellent. We also host gatherings in their wine room so order family style on those occasions!
Last night we celebrated my son’s graduation party at Cafe Vico and I must say that as usual the staff, the high quality authentic Italian food, the ambiance and the owners surpassed our expectations! I am extremely grateful to Marco Vico and his wife Eclair for helping us make this important event a memorable one. My guests and family had a wonderful experience! THANK YOU!!
Rotary Club of Ft. Lauderdale meets every Wednesday. The food is delicious and the wait staff is very attentive. Great place for lunch meetings.
I was invited to Happy Hour by the owner and it was an outstanding visit. The Lemon drop martinis were fabulous and the happy hour menu was absolutely delicious. I had the steak bites and the lamb chop lollypops and they tasted so good. Perfect with the martinis. Marcos the owner checked in on me several times and made sure I had a wonderful experience. The ambience couldn't be matched anywhere else, it beautiful inside. I CAN'T WAIT TILL I GO BACK!!! Would recommend it for anyone and any special occasion.
Cafe Vico has always been an impressive delicious experience, made all the more so by the attention to detail shown by the staff in crisp clean face masks and fresh gloves. While some elements of service have changed to encourage distancing, and cleaner passage of glasses and plates, the elegance of delivery has remained, the server diligently making sure he has the correct choice of wines between several from the same vineyard, prompt refills on beverages, friendly service that neither lingers to long or appears to quickly. And of course the food, this is a consistent easy pick for Best Italian / Best Restaurant in Broward overall. I have been eating here at least 14 years, I have never has a bad plate, have never had bad service, considering how hard it is to run restaurant in the best of times, it is incredible to see Chef/Owner Marco Vico and his team maintain such a wonderful dining experience for so many years.
I took my parents to dinner here a couple weeks ago when they were in town. We absolutely loved it and I will definitely be returning. Everything we ordered was delicious. Loved the atmosphere and service was amazing. Thank you guys!! 🤩
We attended a special Italian Dinner & a Movie night at Café Vico, and it honestly turned into one of the best nights out we've had in years. We arrived a little early and went to the bar, where we were greeted by a very friendly and accommodating bartender. Even though we told him we were just waiting for the event, he was nothing but warm and welcoming—offering us wine and great conversation while we waited. Excellent first impression! Once we moved into the private room for the event, we were welcomed personally by Marco (the chef and owner), his daughter, and Marco's associate Luciano. Right away, you could feel how passionate and proud they are of what they do. Staff came around quickly with a refreshing beverage, and we knew we were in for something special. The food was incredible—seriously next-level. From the Pane Rustico Toscana paired with Gavi di Gavi, to the creamy Risotto paired with Nebbiolo, everything was on point. Marco’s Il Timpano was absolute perfection, and the Ossobuco was rich, tender, and full of flavor. Every dish felt like it came straight from an Italian family kitchen—but elevated. Throughout the night, Luciano led us through an Italian wine tasting that was fun, informative, and delicious. Marco shared his background and passion with each course—you could see his excitement and pride with every dish that came out. And as if that weren’t enough, we watched the classic film Big Night during dinner—a perfect match for the vibe. What really sets Café Vico apart is the way you're treated. Even in a large space with a full house, we felt like family. Marco, his daughter, Luciano, and the entire staff exude pride, warmth, and hospitality in a way that’s rare to find. By the end of the night, there were hugs, salutes, and a genuine sense of connection. This place is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you, Marco!! – Jim & Elisa
Second time I go to Cafe Vico. The food is slightly on the pricier side but everything is very good. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So far I’ve liked everything I have ordered. This time I went to with the classic spaghetti and meatballs and we ordered the clams casino for the table. All the food was excellent. I recommend.
We had 14 in their utterly charming private room for a family celebration. Chris and Nina helped with planning and reservations and the wait staff were wonderful. They served appetizers of fried calamari and meatballs. Following the Caesar salad we had three entrees, all served family style. The flounder picatta and their house lasagna were both amazing. The chicken parmesan was the okay dish. We brought a cake which they cut and served, but our family meal plan also included tiramisu which a few of our guests enjoyed.
Always a top notch choice. Menu is pricey but the food and service is almost near perfect every time. Old school waiters and waitresses actually tell a story when explaining the menu and know the product they serve. Food was amazing. Very big wine selection if you like that. Several homeade desserts as well.
I treated my friend to a birthday celebration at this restaurant, and we lucked out by arriving during happy hour. The atmosphere, food, and drinks were incredibly inviting, creating a cozy and delightful experience. However, what truly stole the show were the drinks and their presentation – they were simply out of this world. I chose the passion fruit martini, while my friend chose the grapefruit variant. Not only were the flavors exquisite, but the way they were served added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. The glasses themselves were a highlight, and if you're interested in recreating the same aesthetic at home, you can find them here: https://amzn.to/3ZnXAyE The pricing is quite reasonable, making it a worthwhile investment. I highly recommend making the journey to this restaurant; I personally drove over an hour and ten minutes to get there, and it was absolutely worth every minute of the trip. It's a fantastic place to celebrate special occasions or savor a delightful evening.
You guys saved my Valentines Day , I was able to setup a Surprise Candle lit Dinner for my Girlfriend. Everyone was booked and they were too busy for take out but Cafe Vico made it all possible and it was extremely delicious. We ordered the Seafood Risotto & Shrimp Parm. SHE WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY & CRIED A LITTLE, So, Thank you. I Got the perfect reaction.
First time there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Full bar, large selection of food that was delicious. We were a group of 10 celebrating my birthday and were seated in the Wine Cellar which is a private room. We had excellent service and appreciated the chef/owner Marco coming in to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and offers a large bar area, as well as a big main dining room and private party rooms. Looking forward to my next visit there 😁
We were there for happy hrs. Steve the piano man added to the atmosphere. Bartender ,Raphael took care of our fabulous drinks & appetizers were awesome. Will be back .
My wife and I discovered Cafe Vico shortly after its opening in 1996. It has become our go to restaurant for close to 30 years when visiting Fort Lauderdale; even driving from other parts of Florida mainly to dine there. The food and service are exceptional and the owner Marco, is always there to make sure your meal is just right. The food is served HOT seconds after coming out of the sauté pan every time I dine here (no cold or lukewarm meals here). It is noticeable and appreciated. Signature Italian dishes like Shrimp Scampi and Pappardelle Rappini are text book perfect. The Gnocchi Quattro Formaggio is beyond any gnocchi I've ever eaten, with a light pillowy texture and creamy cheese sauce. To add to the meal, they serve homemade rolls and garlic oil, which are to die for, we can't stop eating them. For dessert, the Blueberry Creme Burlee is fantastic and the Chocolate Mousse Cake is decadent. After 29 years the food has been consistently exceptional. The restaurant has a nice ambience with a classy lounge for cocktails before or after dinner in a separate room. I can't say enough great things about this place, it's one of, if not the best restaurant for Italian cuisine I've ever eaten.
Food was fabulous! Ordered take out for our team at work. Everything from the appetizers to the salads to the entrees were amazing. Love Cafe Vico!
We have eaten here before and they serve great Italian food. The atmosphere and the decorations are really nice and interesting to look at. Tonight we had Chicken Parm and Chicken Piccatta, Ceasar salad and the soup of the day which was vegetable. The food is always good and the bar top notch. That soup was fantastic. It was nothing that I expected. My wife ordered it and we ended up swapping with each other because I liked it so much. Definetly a great place to take someone on a first date. Its tucked away in the corner of a shopping center but the outside really fools you. The inside is really decorated nicely and they have big rooms for private parties. Go eat here!!! Did I mention that soup.....omg....it was so good!!!
We loved it. Party of 14! Beautifully decorated restaurant. Great service! Food was fresh and on point. Meatballs,;chicken parmesan, lasagna were all delicious!
Went here at 7pm and I ate outside. The servers were nice, attentive, gave space while I was occupied which I appreciated. I got three dishes and all were served at a decent time. The atmosphere was peaceful and cute. while we were outside you can hear the inside music which was nice but not overwhelming. I would come again

I can’t say enough great things about Cafe Vico!! It’s always a wonderful experience dining with them. My husband and I recently got married and hosted our wedding dinner in thier private dining room. Nina and Marco treated us like family during the planning process. The night of the dinner the staff was excellent and they executed so well on the food and the service . It was an amazing event and am very grateful for this gem of a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!
Our server, Jackson, was thoughtful in his care and recommendations. He was knowledgeable and detailed about the menu items and wine pairings. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. The food was prepared with a unique twist on traditional dishes and was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend.
What a lovely Italian restaurant. They have a beautiful downstairs dining room and a upstairs dining room. If you have a large party, this seems to be the place to come. Also, an upstairs balcony if you choose to sit outside, and enjoy these beautiful evenings that we have here in Florida. The staff was accommodating friendly, and very helpful. The dishes that we chose to ordered were delicious and cooked to perfection. I recommend the grilled octopus. The homemade rolls were fresh and served warm. The manager came over several times to make sure everything was to satisfaction. I would recommend this place .
This is a very upscale Italian restaurant. Bar area was clean with a decent selection of drinks. Live music was playing. We ate outside under the tent and it was a very nice place to be. For the food part we had excellent service from a very professional staff. We had a variety of appetizers, all of which ranged from competent to downright delicious, though none of them particularly memorable. Table bread was acceptable with a nice garlic sauce that went with it. My main course was the seafood ravioli which had crab meat and ricotta filling with a lobster cream sauce. You only get 8 but each one is more heavy than they appear. The pasta was black from squid ink and cuts nicely with a fork. The crab part tasted genuine. It was a little hard to distinguish the lobster taste in the sauce once you bite in but generally it's a nicely assembled dish. Overall I would say the food here isn't really mind blowing but it was a fun experience. For the price it's honestly not any better than a mid class Italian restaurant in a bigger city suburb. It's good for bigger parties that like to drink though.
Excellent gem. Began with the warm and friendly greeting by the hostess and continued with the beautiful decor and the service by Danny and crew in the front original room was superb. This is how a top-notch restaurant is run. The food was delicious to cap off a tremendous evening.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, and Marlon's service was spectacular: very attentive, with a unique personality, and he made some amazing margaritas. I hope to come back soon and have another enjoyable time with my friends.
If you want an amazing home cooked Italian meal than Cafe Vico is definitely the place. The food here is absolutely amazing and the presentation matches the flavor. Tried quite a few things and everything was on point. I had the clams casino, salmon carpaccio, fresh pasta, braised short rib, yellowtail snapper, and tiramisu. Everything blew my mind and I can’t wait to go back and try the carbonara. They also have one of the best meatballs in South FL. Love this place.
Marko gave us wonderful service. The bread, the olives, Parmesan cheese and garlic sauce are the best in town. The special was a snapper over angel hair pasta. Best I’ve ever had. Tiramisu for dessert followed by Limoncello. Marko was exceptional. I highly recommend!
Hands down recommend Cafe Vico’s. We had our office Christmas party on Thursday night. The restaurant felt like I was really in Italy again. A very quaint restaurant. The food was excellent and so was the service. Everything was fresh and clean. Very rarely does the owner come over and ask how everything is, your food your service, and he couldn't have been more pleasant. The wine they served was not by the glass it was when you. Glass was empty they refilled it. I checked the everyday menu and the dishes were adequately priced.
Great Italian restaurant. The owner Marcos, makes it a point to visit those dining in this great restaurant to ensure that you are completely satisfied. The food is always delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is marvelous. It’s like being in Italy. Love the place!!! Bill Callahan
Have made Cafe Vico my special go to restaurant for years now, not just for the wonderful food, but the best service, ambience & feeling as if you’re dining @ someone’s home. They now added pizza to the menu which offers a great blend of the freshest vegetables, meats & sauces! Marco & family have made Vico the destination & even have live music!
I ordered two meals so I had one for two separate nights and they both came and were delicious. Just as wonderful as if I had been in the restaurant. Thank you! Sometimes it’s just lovely to eat at home but be treated to such delicious food.
Can't speak to prices because we were brought here for a birthday party but service was phenomenal. Many waitstaff that were always circulating to make sure every need was taken care of. Delicious food. We had chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna bolognese, and am we're delicious. Kudos to the writers, bartenders and manager for keeping such good staff.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Vico, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The beautiful decor and warm ambiance immediately stood out, and the live music made the entire evening feel special and authentic. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh, you could genuinely taste the quality in every bite, especially the crisp, flavorful vegetables. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and I have no complaints whatsoever. What made the experience even better was the hospitality. Marco, the owner, personally walks around, greets guests, and takes the time to talk with you, which adds such a welcoming and personal touch. The staff was polite, attentive, and quick to bring refills, extra condiments, and fresh bread without us ever having to ask. If you are looking for authentic, high quality Italian food with a great atmosphere and outstanding service, you must visit Cafe Vico, you will not regret it. I am already looking forward to my next visit.
We went there for a very large party and I can't believe the professionalism, the kindness of the staff, the quality of the food, and how beautiful the atmosphere is. The owners are very kind, accommodating, and friendly. We were offered many different menu options and they were all outstanding. Absolutely love the place and we will absolutely be back. We highly recommend 1000%
We had an amazing experience at Café Vico and couldn’t be happier with how we were treated. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and genuine. Fernando in particular made us feel truly welcome — attentive, kind, and always making sure everything was perfect. You can tell when someone really cares about the people who walk through the door, and that made a big difference. But what really made the night unforgettable was the music. Listening to such a talented musician like Danny O was something special. His performance made us sigh more than once — emotional, powerful, and full of soul. The repertoire was intense, beautifully chosen, and incredibly well performed. What impressed us the most was his versatility. He sings in Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, and French with such ease and authenticity. We’ve honestly never seen a musician with such a wide range of genres and languages, all delivered with so much feeling. Every song created its own atmosphere, and the whole place seemed to pause just to listen. It wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. Great food, wonderful service, and unforgettable live music. We will definitely be back!!! Thank yoi Marco Vico
Once again Florida’s strip mall restaurant offerings continue to amaze me. We’ve found more gems in unassuming locations in two months here than we had in years in New York and Connecticut. Food was excellent, nice well dressed house salad and delicious pasta fagiole, a very large bowl of the latter with thin pancetta slices to enhance it. Cocktail menu was broad and both were excellent, pricey, as was the rest of the menu but the quality was there to justify it. Service was superb, our waiter Mandolin was excellent throughout the meal. Water and fresh baked bread were brought to the table ahead of the menus and the timing of meal components was perfect. The seafood ravioli were in squid ink pasta which was a nice touch, and the flounder limone was delicious and perfectly seasoned, while the sweet potato purée on the side was to die for, wish there had been more! Forgot to take pictures, sorry. Decor and ambiance were wonderful, dark and cozy but in a good way, large bar with not too loud live music, we could barely hear it in the separate dining room. Was busy on a Saturday night, but not too loud. All of the staff said hello and goodbye and thanked us. Men’s bathroom was clean and the walls were plastered with framed photos of attractive female celebrities which was a cute touch. Overall a great experience if you don’t mind spending a bit more for quality food, service and ambiance.
I don’t even know where to begin with Cafe Vico’s — this place is truly something special. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elegant without feeling stuffy. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale; the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable but also know you’re in for an incredible dining experience. The service? Impeccable. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do and truly care about their guests. And the food… absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. It’s the kind of meal you think about long after you leave. But what really sets this place apart is their integrity. I accidentally left my wallet there, with cash inside and when I returned the next day, they had it safely set aside exactly as I left it. Not a single dollar missing. In a world where that kind of honesty isn’t always guaranteed, it meant more than I can say. Amazing food. Outstanding service. Beautiful environment. And incredible people. Cafe Vico’s has earned a customer for life. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent gem. Began with the warm and friendly greeting by the hostess and continued with the beautiful decor and the service by Danny and crew in the front original room was superb. This is how a top-notch restaurant is run. The food was delicious to cap off a tremendous evening.
I ordered some delivery for lunch. The food arrived just warm, not the fault of the restaurant. The fried calamari was a bit chewy, and there was no lemon. The lasagna bolognese had some good and bad elements. The bechamel was excellent and the the pasta was cooked perfect. The bolognese, however, was a little too celery forward which overpowered the rest of the dish.
Stumbled upon this restaurant just driving by and looking it up on my maps. We took a chance hoping they had a table for two on a busy Saturday night of a 4 day holiday weekend. 1st glance. Looked very busy and packed with a great atmosphere. Has different rooms that could both be used for private parties and two of the main rooms had live music. We were seated on the outdoor patio and seated within 10 minutes of arriving. All the food plates we saw passing by looked delicious. Once seated is the only hiccup we had to our entire meal. Staff was a bit slow in getting to take our drinks and our order. Not to bad though as it was a packed house. We received some bread and an oil garlic mixture but no silver wear. Took to dipping the bread with our hands. I did ask for some napkins, was handed a napkin but no silverware. Our appetizer arrived and with it two seafood forks but they are tiny for our stuffed clams (casino clams) we laughed and proceeded to use just those. What turned out to be the head chef passed by and asked if else needed anything - we did - we politely asked for utensils. He then then turned toma wait staff and asked them to get it for us. Then a few minutes later he asked another waiter . Finally they arrived. We had each an entrée and then shared a dessert. Very good food.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and service. Loved the stuffed artichoke, lasagna, and seafood ravioli. Good wine selection.
Made an opentable reservation. Was sad to find out that you had closed a location but that information was not relayed on opentable. Nonetheless the food was excellent AGAIN. The vicotini is always worth it. My only complaint is that the happy hour pricing only applies at the bar. We were ordering our 3rd drink when that was relayed to us. A little disappointing especially since had we not made a reservation the bar was already full.
Yes very good long established local Italian restaurant. Live Music. We had octopus, branzino and veal picatta. One of the few places left with live music. “Danny Del Ray”. Photos taken in bar w blue haze If your Looking for more high end go to casa de Angelo 1 block away. Recent price increase 6/24 wow. Try Cafe Europa on las olas Where the locals go Local reviews by a local for over 50 years.
8/5/19- Wow, what a great staple . HH with a piano player . Happy Hour food menu from prices it’s half off that . We started with a bottle of wine . Then we had off HH food menu, their baked clams, very tiny but they sure were tastey. Yes plus Baby lamp chops that came with mint jelley . They were so nice and tender . We they order of regular menu , my friend made up her own dish which was chicken Schiaparelli which is not on the menu real Schiaparelli is on a bed of spinach with the brown sauce it was huge and very good plenty leftover for the next day for lunch the music was fun the people were nice the bartenders were very nice and helpful . Will define go back . Great atmosphere 5/26/18- again had a fabulous time . Live music was really good even danced. Started with some wine then ordered off their HH food menu. We had Beef carpaccio escarole and beans, Margarita flatbread small happy hour size and the charcuterie ( meat and cheese platter). Good time and yes again owner very visible and he even stopped at the table again old school. Fun by all
I went and tried this place the other night based on my mom's recommendation it was nothing short of great the sevice was on par with the great atmosphere and it was Soo good we decided to get s gift certificate for my sister and her soon to be husband for a Valentine's Day dinner I certainly will be back to this place
This is our second time eating here. As always the food and the Resturaunt did not dissapoint. Although we used a Groupon, the prices are great without it. The staff was very attentive, and the Owner even came to tend to our needs and make sure we were taken care of. I was stationed in Italy for 8 years and this food is as close as it can be to Italia!!
Wasn't sure about this place, but the reviews were great. It's definitely a dark, yellow lit, old school restaurant vibe. It wasn't that busy either.... but was a weekday (and yes, they do the 80s piping on their potatoes, again old school). BUT... food was fantastic and we were very, very happy with our meals. Service was great as well, although I think he tried to give us too much space and time in between courses 🤔. Still though, solid experience because of the food. Definitely good wine list to pair as well, and they DO have gluten-free options. Pics are a bit dark because of the lighting overall, but know... food was super good.
Homemade pasta like the parppadelle and ravioli are excellent. Decor and ambiance are perfect. Service is excellent. Prices? Like much of Lauderdale, overpriced. Rolls served with garlic and oil can make up for a lot. Get the parppadelle with sausage, broccoli rabe, and garlic and scarf on some rolls with garlic oil. Great restaurant with live entertainment and great ambiance.

The red sauce was very sweet. Almost felt like somebody dropped a large bowl of sugar into the red sauce when making it. The waiter was very nice, but management should recommend that staff tells people prior to ordering that the red sauce is very sweet, I would have chosen differently. I am sure there are other items on the menu that are delicious, but I don't recommend the chicken parm.
I had high expectations from this place after seeing reviews . Unfortunately what I received was not what was expected. For a decent size container there was minimal food 3 little meatballs and a giant slop of tasteless sauce. I’ve had better spaghetti and meatballs in a high school cafeteria then this. Very disappointed and for almost $25 your better off going to chic fil a. Would give 0 stars if possible .
