I went with the 6oz fillet with a fried egg and chimichurri sauce. It was delicious. For sides we got the creamed spinach, fries and Brussels spots - absolutely delicious. We tried a few of their desserts but the olive oil cake was by far our favorite. This place is great for groups. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating.
Hands down one of the most luxurious and fantastic restaurants we have been too. The steaks were cooked to perfection, drinks were amazing and the desserts were outstanding. The ambiance is sophisticated and welcoming and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend for date night, Valentines day or just to have a great night
Had a great time here for our 10th anniversary. Food was amazing waitor was attentive. Great atmosphere. Valet for 10 dollars on a Saturday night. The butterscotch pudding was the star for sure.
This is our favorite place ever! We come here all the time! Some favorites to mention: steak, mashed potatoes, any of their drinks & oysters. We have always had the most exceptional customer service and love sitting at the bar. Their valet option is nice especially for super rainy or cold days. In the main dining room their sommelier is super helpful with wines! Highly highly recommend.
Grace Downtown FTW Steakhouse is an exceptional dining experience for anyone who loves high-quality steak and a refined atmosphere. The steaks are perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor, and the sides and appetizers complement every meal beautifully. The service is attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel valued from the moment you arrive. The restaurant itself has a modern, elegant vibe that’s perfect for date nights, celebrations, or a special evening out. Overall, Grace Downtown FTW Steakhouse consistently delivers outstanding food, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience.
We celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary there on Saturday March 7 2026. We started at the bar. Shelby was awesome. Very attentive and personable. When we were seated Cory was our waiter. He did a great job, knew when to visit us and when to leave us to ourselves. Tony, the sommelier, gave us a visit and recommended some wines. Addison, the manager, stopped by and asked how we were doing and if everything was good. We have salad and prawns for appetizers and cod and steak for dinner. Then butterscotch pudding for dessert. Thank you Cory for the recommendation. It was incredible. We had an incredible evening there. We recommend you go and try it for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back again soon.
We were at the Sinclair for an overnight micro adventure and Grace was recommended by the front desk staff. We realized upon entering that the Peach Bowl was just starting. There were 2 seats at the bar directly in front of a TV with the game on. What a delightful surprise - The food was absolutely delicious,(Tenderloin Tartare, 44 Farms Filet, Rack of Lamb, whipped ricotta cheese) Shelby is an incredibly attentive bar tender and took the best care of us. We will be back for sure!
We went here on January 2 2026 for our 44th Anniversary. We had a party of 8. One of the best dining experiences ever. The other 6 are from this are but my husband and I are from out of state. I emailed about a month ago to reserve for our anniversary. The Grace went beyond our expectations. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. They made sure everything was in order for us. If you want a elegant dining experience this is the place for you. Cannot say enough about them. When we are in town we will definitely come back. Went on a friend's recommendation, now easily in my top 3 all-time spots for steak. We sat on the patio as we were worried we would be too casual. But the vibe was welcoming all throughout. I had the Natural Beef filet with wild mushroom topping. Every single bite was OMG-forget who else you're sitting with, chew it slow so you make the experience last-SO GOOD. The mushrooms were plentiful, I didn't need sides, but they are family style so we got Brussels and fries. The fries were nowhere near as exciting as their description. Service was truly top-notch. Shelby was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The staff all worked together so we were very well taken care of. We did not order wine though it was a good list. I appreciate that a good old Michelob was fairly priced. We did not have room for dessert, and they didn't bring bread out to the table - maybe it is only on request, but our meal came out quickly enough so we didnt really need it. Lastly, I have to thank whomever put the extra thought into the restrooms. Real hand towels. Lotion, mouthwash, and toothpicks, right where I need them. Not on the hostess stand on my way out, but in front of the mirror in the restroom. Will absolutely make a trip to FTW just to dine at GRACE again.
I took myself here for my birthday dinner last year! I still remember how lovely of a time I had — I was away from home and wanted to have a nice dinner but it was very important to me to find a place that wouldn’t make me feel odd for celebrating alone! First, the food was delicious, of course. It was expensive, of course, but definitely very appropriately priced for the quality of the food and experience! As a college student, I wanted to find a place where if it was expensive, I knew it was not overpriced, and it definitely was not! The steak and other foods I ate were delicious! The wine selection was also great and their sommelier was excellent and well versed on the menu. Second, the service was lovely and I felt very well taken care of on my birthday. I never was made to feel awkward, out of place, or unimportant. In fact, they made me feel very welcome and treated me with compassion and kindness — even excitement — for my choice to spend my evening there! They were so kind and friendly. I loved the employees I talked to. And finally, the atmosphere was beautiful and very appropriate. It was not anything overly themed or special, but it felt very nice and refined, and tailored to the quality of the restaurant and food. Overall, I really loved my visit. I thank them greatly for the compassion and lovely experience for my birthday!
Addison, Will, and Shelbie made our anniversary extra special! We love this place and the atmosphere, but they are the ones that made it truly top-notch! The scallops were delicious! You can never go wrong with the toad in the hole salad. The carpaccio was new to us and loved by both! I definitely recommend it! And as always, my dirty martini was amazing! I love the blue cheese, stuffed olives. They also use 1888 pressed olive juice for those! We are looking forward to going back! Thank you so much, GRACE!!! You never disappoint!
Wonderful food with excellent service. Everything was exquisite, from the mouth-watering bread to the pound-on-the-table-good (sadly seasonal) creme brulee preparation of blueberry compote with Meyer lemon ice cream. We really enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Compliments to the Chefs and to our wonderfully attentive server, Brenna.
Came in just for drinks at the bar and was blown away! The atmosphere was perfect—lively but not overwhelming, with music at just the right volume so you can actually enjoy a conversation. Shelby, the bartender, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and really knows her craft. We had a dirty martini, and it was one of the best We’ve ever had, complete with the perfect ice shavings on top. Can’t wait to come back!
Enjoyed this meal so much! Toad in the hole salad was delicious and different and filets were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Spinach and artichoke casserole with panko and Parmesan topping was rich and creamy and heavenly bacon wrapped onions with blue cheese made our dinner amazing! It would be nice if noise from the bar was set off from the dining room but service was great! Had a free dessert for my birthday which was a brûlée banana with chocolate ganache cake and white chocolate espresso ice cream! Wow!!
Found this place based off of reviews and Resy. it did not disappoint. I sat at the bar and Shelby took care of me. She was phenomenal from start to finish! Took the time to learn my name made wonderful recommendations and was very attentive to me at all the other patrons while simultaneously training a new staff member. I had been eyeballing the scallops on the menu prior to arriving, and they did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked and loved the little potato underneath the cream sauce. The salad was super flavorful! And would definitely get again. If I’m ever in town again, I would revisit.
The food was great, if having steak add the truffle butter, trust me! The Mac and Cheese was really good and the fresh baked bread yum. The music was a great added addition to dinner in an upscale dinning environment. It wasn’t over crowded so I did think there would be more people there. Hubby liked the zucchini but I give that 3/10. We would absolutely return. Ohhh my lemon drop was spot on.
My husband and I decided to try this place out for our anniversary. The food was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, and my husband ordered the steak. The menu had a variety of items. The staff was attentive and polite. The atmosphere had a romantic vibe. We received a free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. I would definitely come back again.
Fantastic place for a birthday celebration. 🎂 Staff was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. Managers came by to ensure we were pleased and knew what we were eating and drinking. They also knew our names. Kinda like The Bear. Grace makes their guests feel special. The Toad salad is different and worth it. NY Strip was on point. Scallop was amazing. Oh, that bread. Free dessert for the celebrant. Olive oil cake is the bomb. Reservations are suggested. Recommend!
I'm going to start off by saying I have no complaints at all about my experience at this restaurant and that doesn't happen often. The steak was cooked perfectly, came out warm, and it was delicious. The Capellini Nero tasted amazing and complimented the steak well. I ordered the half portion and got extra lobster added at the recommendation of the waitress. I got the toad in a hole salad and it was a very interesting and tasty salad. It reminded me of breakfast. The dessert was free because I was celebrating an anniversary. They do the same for birthdays. I got the Texas olive oil cake and it was so good and fresh. That's saying something because I rarely ever get dessert. They definitely put a lot of attention to detail into their food. The waitress, Mariah, was polite, had good recommendations, came at the right time, and was knowledgeable in the menu. A+ for the service and for the food. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a nice simple fine dining experience.
We were there for a special occasion in the weekend. Reservations and communication with hostess was a breeze. Ambiance was nice. Parking was difficult but valet was available for $10. Food was ok, nothing or of the ordinary. Prices are what you would expect $$$. Service was lacking. We were there for 2hrs. Slow but we were not in any rush. Overall probably less that a 4 star for what you'd expect from this level but I'd like to give them a chance.
We recently dined at Grace and overall the experience was mixed. The rest of the food was good and met expectations, and the service was okay — not bad, but not particularly memorable. The main issue was the $250 seafood tower. It came with one lobster tail, eight shrimp, and six king crab pieces that were closer to the size of snow crab. For that price point, we expected a more substantial presentation and noticeably larger portions. It honestly looked more like what we would expect from a lower-priced version. We asked multiple times whether we were served the $150 tower instead of the $250 one because the portion size seemed off. That confusion took away from the overall experience. The other dishes were fine, but for $250, the seafood tower felt underwhelming and didn’t match the price.
I wanted so much to give Grace a good review. We had visited them a while back and had terrible service. Today, we tried the bar service and it was just alright. My fries came out barely warm, the mushroom toast was soggy, and our burger fell apart, too dry. What we DID like was the pear martini and the lemon drop martini. So good job to the bar tender and to the manager for checking in on us. Our server got the deed done, but there was no friendliness extended or connection made. We loved the ambiance and the location. Maybe we’ll try them in a couple of more years.
We thought this restaurant had the weirdest vibe. Maybe it was the night we were there, or maybe it was just our moods, but we both picked up on it. The mushroom toast was delightful, but my ribeye was just meh. Not to mention it was $108! I like a good medium rare steak, but it was a little underdone for my liking. I could only eat half of it. And for $108 I would expect a pronounced spinalis and there was none. My wife’s filet was overcooked. She likes it medium-medium well and it was past well done. And the whisky peppercorn sauce was horrid. Usually one of her favorite sauces and it was garbage. We should’ve gone to Capital Grille around the corner. Our mistake for trying a one off spot, the reviews seriously fooled us.
The food was good. Coming from years of personally working in fine dining, the service was horrid. We were sat, waited over 10 minutes, and flagged down a manager just to get water. The manager ended up apologizing and taking the order himself. The waiter took over, and he was absolutely disorganized, inattentive, ineffcient, and clearly either didn't know how to wait tables or didn't have great training before being released on his own. He blamed everyone and took zero accountability for being late to our table. Then, he delivered the food, gave my wife a side of French fries as her meal, which was ordered for my young daughter, and gave my daughter a medium temp filet mignon. Then, when corrected, he blamed the manager for writing the ticket order wrong. Again, as a waiter in fine dining for years while in college, auctioning off food or delivering to the wrong person was unacceptable. In summary, pretty hard pressed to return based upon this experience. There are many great restaurants in the DFW and service usually is the separating factor for me. Unfortunately Grace did not meet expectations or come close.
This is an edited version of my previous 5 star review. DO NOT EAT HERE. Last night my husband and I went here to celebrate his birthday. He enjoyed his malbec and steak. I enjoyed my mixed drink, the 7, and we both enjoyed the appetizer of oysters. When the French onion soup came out, it was boiling hot. Most soups should be hot, but this was over-the-top lava hot. After letting it cool, we were greeted with a bland mixture of blah. It just wasn't good. After the soup bowls were picked up, we waited at least 30 minutes for our mains. During this time, our server did not check on us one time. We were not given an explanation, an apology, a time frame, nothing. Another server had to refill our waters - TWICE. We finally received our mains and our side dish of spinach artichoke dip. My scallops were seasoned with the richest sauce known to man. The potato (??) mixture under it had an awful texture and consistency. I tried to finish my last scallop because of the price, but after chewing a bite or two, I had to spit it out. I apologize if I left a mess in the table. The spinach artichoke side was far too salty. It was inedible. We should have sent it back. With the trifecta of poor food quality, the terrible service and the ridiculously high bill for a party of two, we will NEVER be back. I would rather eat at Taco Bell and risk explosive dysentery and I promise I'll tell anyone with an ear the same thing.
Upon entering you’re usually welcomed by the hostess such as, “Good evening or Happy New Year or Welcome to Grace! How may I help you?” Nope. We did have a reservation and were led to a table in the middle of a high traffic area. One of us has hearing aids so we requested a quiet table by the window which after several conversations with staff was approved. When we sat down, one of our guests who brings her own water for medical reasons, was rudely told by the waitress that’s not allowed. When she tried to explain it’s an accommodation, the waitress became even more upset. The waitress got the manager, who was very professional. He explained the rule that you cannot bring your own beverage containers. He finally found a solution which was for our friend to pour her water into a wine glass. He then offered to give us another server. As we waited for our new server, we observed our original server talking to the new server in an animated manner. It was obvious she was relaying what had transpired. Our new server was professional, but it was so awkward and we were just wanting to celebrate New Year’s Eve at a nice restaurant downtown. Total buzz kill. But the food was good, although the bread took way too long and plates and utensils were taken away much too swiftly. What was planned as a festive occasion turned into staff confusion. Accommodations are real. Teachers and counselors are used to accommodations, I just wish the restaurant was kinder in their approach to providing a safe space where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Grace?
