Played here through the summer and now through the winter. This track will test your skills. I believe it’s the most slept on course in DFW. If you ever make it to Eagle Mountain/ Saginaw, this course is well worth a try. You will feel welcomed as soon as you walk into the Club House.
What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful course for a reasonable price. Loved that the back 9 felt like a completely different course.
This review is not about the golf course but about the staff! We had a roofer stuck on the roof due to a ladder failure a couple of streets away. We Called the pro shop and these guys showed up to help us out immediately with no questions asked! Thank you guys for saving my roofer from having to jump!
Player’s course. Tight fairways where errant drives will cost you dearly. Greens are fast but don’t look it. Back 9 better than front. Very enjoyable! Highly recommend. Some negative reviews really put it down but don’t be dissuaded. If u love golf u need to play this course. Highly recommend!! 3 hour round on Sunday morning. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Really cool course, the greens were fun. It was wet but we live in Texas. Really nice staff, will be back.

I was out here for the Beat The Heat scramble today. Course is in best shape it’s been in, in years. Fairways clean and greens shaped up. Definitely put this course in your regular rotation.
First time playing here after years of looking. Excellent experience. Friday afternoon paid $40 (!) w a military discount. Overall condition is as good as one can find except in higher end (usually) private courses. Excellent greens. I’m a 6 index and we played blue tees. The course is very short, but they figure out how to keep the rating high w tight tee shots and challenging greens. Great looking community out here. I’ll be back.
Golfed over the weekend. The course was clean and well maintained. The greens had very consistent speeds. After the round, I could not locate a lost item. Riley and his staff in the shop and golf shed went above and beyond to help me and followed up promptly. They did this while a tournament was underway! Thanks to all; I recommend and will be back again.
A large group of us went out there on Sunday afternoon to play a some games. Our OUTSTANDING experience began with the super outgoing and helpful team in the pro shop and just kept going from there. The fairways were in nice condition and the greens were INCREDIBLE - so SMOOTH! We played 18 holes on a Sunday afternoon in just under 4 hours…sweet pace of play. I highly recommend this The Resort Golf Course.
Greens in great condition, rolling quick but true. Played awful in this crazy wind. Breakfast tacos are killer too. Hats off to whoever whipped them up. Will come back in spring/summer.
Course has been in great shape all year. They have done a phenomenal job with this place. The staff throughout the entire club are all amazing. Great price for such a good course.
My wife and I played on May 9,2025 . We had a 9:40 tee time . Everything about this course is first class . First thing your going to like is the the golf carts . It’s like riding in a luxury car . Most comfortable seats I’ve ever sat in for a club cart. They have a driving range and the course is in great shape . The only thing wrong is the bunkers but the head pro said they are in the process of getting them fixed . Other than that you will not be disappointed. So go on out there and test your skills on a fair but challenging course!!!
Played this course during a tournament. Super fun! Well taken care of. I had a great time. I cant wait to come back!!

The new Chef is cute, and taco bar has been outstanding recently, will definitely eat there again anytime 🫠

Well, it’s a gorgeous day and the greens are green and the golfers are having a great time. When I have some time, I’m definitely gonna play as a beautiful course.

Just wanted to write this in response to some reviews recently that almost made me not want to play here. I was very hesitant on playing after seeing reviews, so glad I ignored them. The course was in WAY better condition than expected and the greens were surprisingly great. The practice green was a little rough but on the course was great. The fairways seemed to have done a complete 180 from experiences last week lol. It was my first time playing here and I will be back. Round was about 5 hours but it was a gorgeous day and I expected everyone to want to play. Staff was awesome.

played there today and found course in poor condition. greens were hard and very bumpy. fairways are tight and also hard dirt. this course was in better condition a few months ago when we last played here. as it is today, I doubt we will return anytime soon.

It’s 2025 and we’re still gatekeeping with antiquated collar rules? Are you kidding me? You’re not Augusta. Great job growing the game guys. I showed up today in a Nike Golf Shirt. It does not have a traditional collar. I’ve included a screenshot of the shirt in question from Nike’s GOLF collection. The model is even wearing golf spikes. It’s not like it’s a graphic tee or something. It’s a Dri Fit modern performance golf shirt. I’ve played at multiple courses (nicer and more expensive than this one) with shirt without a single question asked or eyebrow raised. The antiquated rule is one thing. But the timing is even more egregious. Traveled 20 minutes with my 2 year old and got there at 6 PM knowing the course closed at 7 PM. I had called ahead making sure it was ok that I brought my 2 year old son with me and stated that I wanted to take the last tee time of the day so that we didn’t slow anyone up and I could be the last one on the course and stay out of everyone’s way. I showed up purposefully with only an hour to play knowing I wouldn’t even make it through 9 holes. It’s really that much of a detriment to the credibility of your establishment at 6PM that someone wears a non collared shirt for 5 holes? What an absolute joke.

Embarrassing slow. Play out here all the time because family lives on the course. Today will be my last time. Pace of play is terrible. Backed up 3 people deep on every tee box after 8. Marshall came out once to look around and did nothing. Half decent course but not worth the wait.
Everything is from a bag in the freezer, and I know for a fact no one is checking dates. They're more than likely selling spoiled products..
I recently played this course and, honestly, it was pretty disappointing. The only real positives were that the greens were fantastic—they rolled fast and true—and the clubhouse was very nice. Those were the only high points of the day. However, the rest of the experience was frustrating. Not Fun to Play: The course is extremely tight because of all the houses lined up along the fairways. It doesn't feel challenging in a fun way; it just feels overly restrictive. If you're a long hitter, forget using your driver. You'll be hitting long irons or hybrids off the tee constantly just to keep the ball away from the hazards or the nearby homes. It really takes the fun out of the round. Fairway Conditions were Awful: Maybe it was just October, but the fairways were in terrible shape. They were seriously chewed up. I often found myself with a bad lie—even in the middle of the fairway—due to dead grass patches, bare dirt, or even big puddles even though it hadn't rained recently. It was hard to get a good strike all day. Overall, it wasn't the resort experience I expected.
