Found this place on Google and I was so surprised, it was so delicious and exactly what I needed. I just got the Turkish breakfast plate and it was a perfect blend of everything so simple and delicious. The women who work there were so kind and hard-working and the aesthetic of the place is so cute. My daughter had the avocado toast and loved it. We will definitely come back.

This hidden gen in Fountain Valley. Cozy and warm place. Woman’s own place and she iknows the bakery. Sweet place to go turkish breakfast and tasty pastries. There is a coffee option too. Sweet place and stuff is very friendly.

Such a cute little cafe with amazing staff and delicious food! We enjoyed the crepes, avocado toast, mushroom omelet and croissant sandwich. The craft coffee and mocha were delicious too!

Hidden gem in a plaza, Canaan’s kitchen was definitely a great experience overall. It started with a phone call, I wanted to make sure there was no wait since we had a busy Sunday ahead of us. The gentleman on the phone said he could hold the table for us since we were going to be there in 6 mins. As we got there, we were greeted and shown the menu. You order in the front and then go to your table and lay at the end at the front as well. I felt a little rushed as I wasn’t expecting to order right away. Everything we ordered was delicious, mushroom omelette was great, fresh with a side salad, low sodium, great taste. My husband had the avocado toast and the cherry tomatoes and some kind of olive oil dressing gave it a refreshing tweak to your traditional American avocado toast. Iced caramel latte was strong (which is good) and the peach tea that U got, was so refreshing! Got a Nutella crepe with strawberries and I wish I would’ve added bananas because I felt like it would’ve been a good combo! We were given 4 Turkish delights 2 pistachios and 2 pomegranate, and there were so good, I’m not sure what the ingredients are but it tasted like a macaron filling, they were delicious! We had an amazing overall experience! I wish the place was a little more ventilated but other than that, service was great and lots of parking in the plaza which is a plus! I hope we can go back!

I recently visited Canan’s Kitchen Cafe & Bakery and had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the staff were kind and welcoming. I tried their homemade pastries and Turkish tea — everything tasted fresh and made with care. It’s a nice spot for a quiet breakfast or coffee break. The prices were reasonable too. It’s not a fancy place, but it has heart. I’ll definitely come back again.

We visited a cozy little Turkish restaurant in Fountain Valley and absolutely fell in love with it. It’s a true family-run gem—grandma in the kitchen with her grandsons helping out, serving up delicious, homemade food with so much love. From the traditional Turkish breads to the omelette, cheese, olives—everything was fresh, authentic, and top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, just like being at someone’s home. We loved every bit of it. I’ll definitely be going back, and I’ll be recommending this place to my friends, family. It’s a spot everyone should experience!

Canan's Kitchen has amazing Turkish breakfast with Turkish tea. Canan did a great job with the breakfast presentation. Turkish bagel, Su boregi, strawberry jam and menemen are so delicious. We felt like we were in Turkey. Indoor ambiance is so good Thank you for all.

We discovered this hidden gem while visiting California with my kids. From the moment we arrived, Ali and his mother, Mrs. Canan, greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality. The cafe was spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return!

If you are around LA and Orange County this is the breakfast place to go to. We loved every food entree we got. Simit is divine, they have real balkaymak and the breakfast items work quite well for both Turkish breakfast and for European style breakfast, too. The su borek is freshly handmade. I found a place to come back to time and time again. This is better home-made food than what we had in some of the best places in Turkey.

first time. lovely experience. everything was very good, but not extraordinary. the avocado toast was pretty bland, couldn’t taste the avocado or cream cheese. the turkish coffee was a surprise - i don’t usually drink black coffee unless it’s very good coffee, this one i could drink it black. loved the candy that came with the coffee. service was basic, more like neighborhood family restaurant style, and they both were on the quiet side. the decor was nice and chic, not so fancy. the place was clean and quiet. overall, it’s good but on the pricier end.

The inside is so beautiful and cozy. Perfect for a girls day out! If you love to take photos it’s the perfect spot. The food and drinks took a bit to come out, but it was worth the wait. Portions were more than enough. The workers are very sweet as well! There isn’t a whole lot of space, but they do have a table for bigger parties! <3

The meat and eggs were really good, i loved their tea☕️ I tried mushrooms and eggs, it was good but im not a fan of mushrooms so it depends on you. The place is a bit old but you will enjoy the experience.
