Today was our first time at butterfish, and we had a great experience. The employees were very helpful, very nice and patient with us. Not knowing the menu we had a lot of questions, and they seemed very honestly nice and wanting to help and direct us in the right way….. good job employees! The food was delicious and healthy! I got the surf and turf bowl… loved it! We will be back to try more! The food was a little pricey but it’s expected for the good quality and healthy options! The atmosphere was nothing special, but clean and easy to navigate, a little crowded for lunch on Saturday. But still 5 stars! All in all, great job looking forward to coming back!

Butterfish is hands-down my go-to spot for fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted Poké bowls. The ingredients are always top quality — super fresh fish, perfectly seasoned rice, and a wide variety of mix-ins and toppings that let you customize your bowl just how you like it. The staff is friendly, fast, and clearly takes pride in what they serve. Every time I go, it’s consistently delicious. Whether you’re new to Poké or a seasoned fan, Butterfish nails it. Highly recommend if you’re craving something healthy, satisfying, and packed with flavor!

I recently popped in this venue for a quick bite and had a great experience. The dish I ordered was tasty and customer service was very accommodating to my guests allergies. Although we ate during the dinner rush we were served quickly and there was plenty of indoor seating and the restroom was clean. I’d certainly check it out if you want a casual healthy and filling bite.

We got here during the lunch rush, but it was still fast, and the staff were efficient and courteous. They have tons of topping options and protein options. There's chicken for the non-fish eaters plus full vegetarian options. Friendly to kids as well. Also, if you're in the mood for something warm, they have some warm dishes. All in all, super delicious and fresh.

This place was very clean with nice staff. I had a build your own bowl and it was amazing. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. We also had the poke mole and chips, it was so creamy. I also had a few bits of the house special and rising sun. They were very flavorful. 10/10

This is the best sushi bowl with the best ingredients iMO. Right now, for health reasons, I can’t eat raw fish, so I ordered a hot bowl. What they don’t tell you is they don’t have that stuff on the line and your order goes into another queue with ToGo food and you have to now wait for the order to be up and then be made. I don’t really have any extra time and I feel like the menu or someone should tell you your wait time for hot orders. I thought the person taking my order would just go put it together right then, but they don’t. Feeling Disappointed that I couldn’t get fast service today with my current dietary needs.

I love Butterfish, at one i was eating here like 3 days a week. Their bowls are delicious and their choices for toppings are perfect! Staff seems to always be welcoming, it is fast pace chipotle style ordering, but you are not rushed. The only thing that I dislike is their parking situation, both butterfish locations are in very crowded parking lots and also, that they have their crunchy toppings like their nuts right next to the tempura and onion and sometimes drop one or the other in different containers, which I feel could be bad for those of us with a nut allergy, if that were to accidentally happen.

Ambience strictly an upscale fastfood sushi joint, little noisy for me (I'm deaf, lol) but a good environment, clean, proficient serving. Food very good and quickly delivered. Teriyaki chicken on brown rice excellent along with sweet potato fries, mmmm. Staff even took our picture with a smile. 👍

Great options and endless creations can be made there. The spicy crab seems more like imitation crab, but everything else was delicious. It got crazy crowded and a bit loud just after we got there. The kelp salad was delicious, but their "salad" looked like sliced iceberg lettuce. The bacon fried rice was good but lost in all of the other flavors. Over all we would go again, but may not be our first choice.

I have only been at butterfish one time just to go in and out, and it was busy. I’ve ordered through grubhub 3 times. I/3 has been a good experience so far. I only reordered because I like: protein, raw fish, price is decent, and low carb options with added nutrients. I feel like it could be hit and miss based on who makes your bowl. This last bowl I got was perfect and I wish I could let the person who made it know it. Standards should always be this high. The other two bowls were kinda garbage with my grubhub order, and the first was not impressive AT ALL (despite everyone else’s opinions, like in 2020?). This person did so well, I didn’t even notice that they forgot my crispy onions which I paid extra for. 🫠

Place has bad service , people don't show up to work so they have to stop people from ordering takeout. Pretty unprofessional. Could not get my order.

Absolute 0 stars. Never order through DoorDash. They gave me 2 pieces of Beef the size of quarters, the rest of the bowl rice with little to no tempura flakes. Fire everyone.

I rarely leave reviews, but this needs to be said. If you’re looking for traditional Hawaiian poke, this is not the place. This spot feels more like “high society poke” — fancy-looking but far from authentic. There was barely any fish in my bowl, and what little I got was hard and dry. The rice was overcooked, the greens weren’t mixed properly, and the eel sauce was overly salty. Even the spicy mayo had a strange aftertaste. If you want a quick, satisfying poke bowl, skip this place. And if it’s your first time ever trying poke, please don’t let this be your introduction — it’s a poor example of what real poke should be. Also side tip, before going to any poke place look up who the owners are. That will give a good sign if it will be good or not.

Ordered from here about 3 weeks ago and got really burnt onions and left a review. I ordered again on DoorDash for pickup thinking this issue would be fixed and once again the onions are burnt and BLACK. Going to call tomorrow bc I am spending $40 on food and it is barely edible and not enjoyable.
