The Philly cheesecake was so good and melts in your mouth! The jalapeños definitely had a good kick, so if you can't handle heat, pass on the jalapeños. The gentleman at the register was so nice and professional and gave me the rundown of the menu and most popular choices. It was nice and clean inside and a great overall environment to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends. Definitely recommend!!!

First timer here. I wish i didn't wait so long to drop in. I wanted something different from a pastrami burger and a bacon burger so I ordered the Double Smoked Jalapeño Burger w/Fries & Chocolate Shake. Burger Shack is a great spot for great burgers and then some. I wish these guys a lot of success. Service A+ Burger A+ excellent & filling Fries A+ perfectly seasoned Chocolate Shake A+ damn near perfect Keep up the great work

The first thing that impressed me the most was the cleanliness. I posted a picture of the floor. 😁 Food was good I would go back. If you like Triangle Drive-in then you'll feel right at home with this flavor. I think I saw something about military and senior discounts. Fries are good, salted proper. Burger was great. Lettuce is shredded and onions are chopped, burger sauce is good. Ranch is good, it's not Me n Eds, but it didn't disappoint. Will go again, and I will recommend it.

My first time coming to the burger shack. It was delicious and flavorful! The buns weren't thick like other burger spots where you get full off mostly the bread. It was just right! Juicy patty with juicy pastrami and very clean inside as well as the bathrooms. The service was outstanding. Very kind people always offering us if we need anything. I will definitely come back again. They really make you feel welcomed.

Five of us travelled from the East coast, and always prefer to support small businesses instead of chains. Stopped for a quick burger on our travels and certainly left happy with full bellies! Service was awesome. The gentleman at the counter was super nice, personable, and accommodating to some dietary restrictions we have. Food was fresh and came out quickly without sacrificing taste. And the price was super reasonable. Great portions and even better flavor! Great smash burger. If we would ever fly into Fresno again, we will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful food and people. We looked at photos on maps and thought to give it a try. And man we we are glad we did. The food is incredible, specially the philly cheese steak sandwitch. Everything is well made and serving size is good. We asked like a million questions and they were polite with suggestions. Loved the food. Please bring your shop to Los Angeles too!!

This place is wonderful! We've been here a few times now and have tried different items from the menu. Everything has been absolutely delicious. You can taste the char on the burgers, the veggies are fresh, a large fry is enough for 3 people. If you're not in the mood for fries they have other options, we've tried the fried Zucchini and Mushrooms, both so flavorful and crisp. The decor is very modern and staff extremely welcoming and warm. Especially Ajria who was an absolute delight and a pleasure to talk with while we waited for our order. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!

I stopped by here while working in fresno, dude that took my order was solid, I ordered the double smash and fries. The food was on hit, so much flavor and fries were perfect… I’m a big fan of a good smash burger and this hit everything perfect… this is my new go too spot from here on out… Anyone in the area, make this a stop… you will not regret it… Thanks

I’ve been here a handful of times since opening and I really like it. My adult kids really enjoy it too, it’s our alternative to In-N-Out Burger when we cannot make it there. The staff and service is always fast and friendly. The place is nice and clean and has a good amount of seatings. I’ve never had an issue but parking is not the greatest because it’s located in a small shopping center on the NW corner of Ashlan & Blackstone. The food is delicious! The burgers are juicy and with fresh ingredients. The bacon in the burgers are ginormous and they have perfectly fried crinkle-cut fries. I’ve also had the milkshakes and they are good too. Today, I got the jalapeños burger combo meal to-go and again it didn’t disappoint. I’ve also had the Shack Burger and Single Bacon Burger combo meals and both were delicious too. I’ll definitely be returning to try everything else on the menu and recommend this place.

This was our 1st time eating here. 1st off the area behind the front counter where you ordered was so so so so clean and spotless. Very clean restaurant 👌!!! The food is yummy yummy, yummy.. Very filling and fresh. We got a Western Bacon Cheese and fries. Oh, my so delicious. And picture perfect. I would highly recommend this place for a good hamburger 🍔..

*Update Ok, this place is STILL delicious! Way way better than Hodads in San Diego! We've had burgers ALL over California, and I don't know what it is, but their food just hits differently! We ordered the Bacon Burger, Western Burger combo, chicken strips basket (they have the good ranch), 6 piece Buffalo wings and large ice cream cones. 🐽🐷🐖 Ok.. this place is Bomb! I saw someone with a house arrest ankle thing picking up burgers from here.....so that should tell you it's 100% worth the venture out of your house to grab a meal from here. I tempted fate with a heart attack inducing Pastrami Burger, which had more mustard than what I'd normally have on a hamburger, but when paired with whatever delicious pepper pastrami they use, was perfection and worth every bite! My guy had the Bacon Burger, which was equally yummy. The crinkled fries were a surprise treat! I can't remember the last time I had crinkled fries that were crispy AND seasoned well. Also treated ourselves to a vanilla soft serve cone that put McDonald's to shame. So good! Hope they keep putting out good food and don't change a thing. Seriously, try them!

I have been to this restaurant 3 different times already. I always order the Philly Cheesesteak combo with no mushrooms and extra, extra seasoning on my fries. I am even planning on going back there this upcoming Wednesday evening with some great friends of mine to introduce each of them to this fantastic restaurant. I even ordered a Milkshake from my most recent time that I was there and it was freaking AMAZING! The Owner/Cook is absolutely SPECTACULAR at what he does! He is a One Man Show that always knows exactly what he's doing. Every single time I have ordered my food, it has always been fresh, as pictured, and made to order. On top of their already excellent food on their menu, their staff always treats their customers like human beings, with kindness and respect. Even though this restaurant is located slightly in a rougher part of town, this establishment still treats everyone fairly and equally, like they are family with outstanding customer service! Anysa is a delightful worker who works there who always exhibits professionalism and compassion for others. She has a very good spirit, very kind heart, and a very positive attitude. She is efficient, hard-working, patient, and consistent. Whoever her parents are, did a wonderful job raising her right. I am very satisfied, 100 % with this restaurant's overall atmosphere, environment, their food, their service, and their convenience. This Restaurant is the Best Kept Secret in The Entire Central Valley of California. You will NOT be disappointed😊. This Restaurant deserves WAY more than just 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and even more than just Two Thumbs Up 👍🏾 👍🏾. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This place is the BEST place to grab a burger. Full stop. None of those pretentious burger places even come close to how good this food tastes. The customer service is AMAZING, the guy behind the counter is absolutely fantastic at his job and sets the standard for how I expect to be treated at all establishments. Everytime I come to Fresno I make sure to make a stop here and it never disappoints. The vibes are immaculate and the food SLAPS like Mike Tyson. 10/10 no complaints.

The food was decent, and the prices were reasonable for what you find nowadays in 2025. Had the chili cheese fries, and the phili cheese steak fries, with the m&m twister. The chili cheese fries were better than average compared to a lot of places, although in my opinion the phili cheese steak topping didn't go too well with the fries in my opinion (just the combination taste-wise, the meat and onion/peppers were good). Only one real issue is that the bathroom was pretty dirty and had a stench bad enough to affect the appetite. It's worth coming back to in the area.

This place was recommended to me by a friend...and omg...very crispy cheese sticks, onion rings, deep fried mushrooms, and fries. Those fries are seasoned so good it makes you want to order 2 large fries per person. I did ask for the burger to be extra cooked but it wasn't...so I'm taking a star off for that reason only. Buns could've been toasted a little longer to prevent soggyness by the time I was able to get home and enjoy the meal...the taste of the burger though was very good...will definitely be back as long as the burgers are cooked a little longer and toast the buns better next time.

Sorry, I really don’t understand how these people are leaving 5-star reviews. We came here for the first time because the In n Out across the street was too busy. The service was fine, the atmosphere is fine (nothing great, just fine - the faucet in the bathroom was nice and there was immediate hot water, but there were no paper towels), but the food was mediocre as can be. The burger patties seem like they came in a frozen 10-pack, and the fries seem just like standard crinkle cut from Sysco that you can get about anywhere (which is fine, but it’s just fine). I might give a 2.5 star rating if I could, but feel like 2 is fitting. I can make better burgers at home, and again, there’s an In n Out across the street. I don’t wish it upon anyone, but I don’t see how this place is gonna last.

This could have easily been a five star review however when you choose not to make a situation right and instead accuse your customer of lying when shown proof, you will lose customers. We ordered from door dash. On door dash it showed that what we ordered came with fries. When we got it there were no fries. When I called they told me if I could show them they would make the fries. I drove back down there, showed them the app and they proceeded to tell me that wasn't their restaurant even when I showed that I had just picked up and they acknowledged they forgot our ranch. They still argued about giving me the fries. Really? Fries are worth an unhappy customer. Bad publicity? They relented and have me one and home I went to a Cold burger. Their food was good, but they way they treat customers ruins everything.

Was there today and had to leave without finishing our food because a few guys came in and were smoking dope in the lobby. There were other families there as well. Tried to make the employees aware without any luck. I also tried to call to let them know once we left and was left on hold. Just beware going to this spot. The customer service also needs improvement but the food is overall not that bad.
