Had a simple burger 🍔 for light dinner. Was good and milk shake was tasty. Just about better than McDonald's i think. Not the frozen style that looks like factory made.

The food was very fast and hot. Very tasty steakburgers and nice thin crispy fries. The staff was very kind. The business model has changed for the better in my opinion. I had not been to Steak N Shake for years because even though I always liked the food, the service was not very good and fast. Now all they have are ordering kiosks and the drinks are self-serve. My experience at this location was excellent. Very clean dining room.

My objective thus evening was to get a really good burger that I could get as I expected it to be and Steak & Shake delivered. Also, bonus that it was really inexpensive compared to several of the other places I've been recently charging upwards of twice as much for a burger that simply wasn't as good. Also, I got a chocolate shake, which was also really good.

Food was always good from here. Recommend delivery as I would for every one of their locations.

Probably my favorite burger place in frisco, especially close to where I go to college! The shakes are very affordable especially if you go through the drive thru but they’re well worth it with a meal. My recommendation? The Royal Steak-burger with a strawberry shake

Steak'n Shake is a fast food or drive though option but it's really excellent. The burgers are full of flavor, the beef tallow fries are excellent, and the shakes hit the spot. For a chain, it's 5 stars.

I stopped here with my kids before taking them to see Christmas lights nearby. I had the Frisco melt (my favorite), my daughter had a cheese steakburger and my son had a hot dog. We finished every bite and followed our meal with Peppermint Chocolate Chip milkshakes. Everything was delicious. Most importantly, our waitress, Tabitha, was very kind and attentive - I don't always get this kind of service when I take my kids out by myself. When I went to pay out, I tipped generously because I am always impressed with good service when its just me and my kids, especially by a young person such as herself. When she saw it on her screen, she was kind enough to ask if I meant to tip her that much or if I thought I was putting in my PIN #, she thought I must've made a mistake. I appreciated that she did ask me that, just in case I HAD made a mistake. (You put in a tip on the card machine similar to putting in your PIN if you have a debit card). Overall, I was impressed by the food and the service.

I downloaded the app for the first time and immediately had access to a free milkshake, I placed my online order and headed to the restaurant. Within five minutes of me leaving my house my order was ready. There was a young man sweeping the entryway who welcomed me in. The young man who handed my food to me, was very respectful and wished me a safe ride home. These workers are nice and respectful and they make you feel welcome!

We had a nice, quiet lunch. The staff were very helpful. The milkshake was delicious. Burger and fries prepared just like we asked. The place was clean.

This location has a staff of genuinely caring and courteous people. The service is quick and smooth. I tried the Butter Double Burger. It was delicious.

This chain is dedicated to transparency and bringing back REAL food. Their commitment to removing all seed oils is huge for me amd my family. They are open about where they are at on the website and I commend them. This is also the best butter burger outside of Wisconsin..my wife can attest, she is from WI. Keep it up and I hope more people realize how good this place is.

Burgers and shakes are great. My fries came out cold but were quickly replaced by a new batch. Service was on point. The dining room smells better than the last time I went. The one place that keeps smelling bad is the "foyer".

Best chilli chese fries you can get in any fast food chain. I was surprised to get chilli chese fries and chicken fingers at 11.30pm whereas in the other steakNshake places they denied all the times and told that they took out chilli cheese fries from the menu itself. I often frequent this location and seems to be some good changes. My wife and I recognized a new employee name Ray that made us feel welcomed along with making sure we got what we needed in a timely manner. Place is very clean, food hot and fresh. We love Steak and Shake's beef Tallow fries! My son is obsessed with this place, and it's nice to be able to give him a treat of fries without guilt. The staff is always friendly. We come here all the time and have never had a bad experience.

I personally like a person taking my order, but that was ok with me. There was a lovely older lady bussing tables and a very pleasant staff member. She was very helpful. I don't tip when I have to pay at a kiosk, but will be running out to my car for cash to give to the lady. She was great!

I gotta say - this particular Steak n Shake location really hit the mark. Steak burger was delicious, fries are delicious, and the Cotton Candy Shake I had was just like enjoying a memory. It was perfect. I thought these closed down so when I saw it open- well I'm happy I gave it a shot! I love Freddy's, but man.. really got a run for their money now! Absolute best cheat meal I've had. After working out and being sore this place hits the spot for a cheat meal. Food tastes hot and fresh. I loved S&S as a kid but this honestly is a much better experience. The food is way better, fresher. The restaurants are much cleaner. The employees at the two I have been to recently were super nice and fast. Anyway I could continue gushing but this was well worth it. Get the Frisco melt. It's been my go to for years.

We had very good meals at Steak 'n Shake. Steak 'n Shake is incredibly under rated. Our burgers and fries were made fresh to order. The lettuce, tomatoes and pickles were all fresh and crisp. And the food was tasty and flavorful. The dining room was clean too. I highly recommend this Steak 'n Shake location!

I had not been to a Steak and Shake location in many years. There are hardly any around anymore. There was no line in the drive thru when I pulled in. I placed my order and after around 5 minutes, my order was delivered to me. I ordered the single steak burger with fries combo and substituted my drink for their Red Velvet Oreo Cookie shake. The service was friendly. The store from the outside looked nice. When I got home to eat the food, I noticed that the steak burger was smaller than what I recalled it to be in the past. The burger was good...the shoestring fries were ok...the container could have had more fries in it..the fries I received were mainly short and cut off. The red velvet Oreo Cookie shake was delicious. I have always known their shakes to be good. I may go to visit the location again.

Their food is kinda smaller than preferred but tastes much better than McD, the Milk-shakes are BIG, w many flavors. Their trashcan is too small, they should expand the hole 🕳️ to fit the size of the trash can. Went to restaurant with family this weekend. Service has changed to kiosk ordering,self food pick up, and self seating style. The food was good and hot. The only issue was very few tables were clean enough to sit at. We found one and wiped it down so our family could sit down. Bathrooms smelled like sewer backup. Some maintenance and cleaning is needed. Overall still had a good experience.

For a fast food restaurant, this place ranks pretty high. Burgers are smash burgers with a nice char and good flavor, although i feel like it kind of got smaller over the years. Fries are freshly cooked to order and taste great with their fry seasoning. Too bad this is the only location because it's honestly better then the bigger franchises. With them getting rid of their $4 meals the value isnt there like before but honestly everything is expensive nowadays. Service here is top notch with friendly workers that rival establishments like In N Out. I'd def recommend you give it a try if you've never been. Double bacon steak burger with garlic butter on bun, large fries, and drink shown in picture.

I rate 4 stars on the food because the fries were not fresh/hot. This is a childhood place I frequent several times a month with family. I believe it was in Indiana somewhere we used to go. I was super excited when I saw they were located down here. Burgers 🍔 delish, and the Biscoff shake was amazingly yummy!!! I will sacrifice my lactose intolerance for one of those on my next visit. Steak n Shake used to be my go-to place for a burger and a great shake. There are very few locations that remain open. They are notoriously known for their poor service no matter the location. Their shakes are still some of the best out there. Just be patient when ordering food.

The location was literally empty. No customers at all. Empty parking lot. Kind of in a dark area. The lights in the outside were broken just lit up steak and not the rest of the name. While the food was fresh. The fries were very bland and lacking flavor. And the burger looked smaller than it used to be. They need to give this place a little more life because i couldn’t even enjoy my meal there felt like I was in a bad neighborhood. It would have easily been a 5 stars if it was not for the weird feeling I got being there.

I decided to stop on my way home. I ordered a large cheese hamburger combo. There were about 2 cars ahead of me, but there was a significant wait after placing my order. This was fine as I assumed one of the vehicles may have had a large order. However, I was disappointed that my fries were not fresh or hot. They were lukewarm at best and chewy once I got to the bottom.

If you look at the reviews and food pictures from 5 years ago, that seems like better times. Perhaps a different owner? Why don't you go back to that? There are so many other options, you just have to do better. I do like the food, but it is not as good as it could or used to be these days.

I used to love this place but find it far less tempting since it's become a mostly self serve restaurant. The waitstaff was a huge part of why it felt different before, now it's just sad. Seeing only a few employees sequestered in the kitchen with almost no interaction with customers just gives an overall depressing feel.

Wanted to try steak and shake as they are now using beef tallow vs seed oils for frying. Had a cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good and the shoestring fries were just ok. Selection of soft drinks was average with no healthier organic options like Mooyah. Don't like having to order from a kiosk vs face to face.

Ordered with a delivery service. It was on time. And the food was warm. Had the Frisco Melt. Definitely not something to have if you are looking for a "light" meal. It was deliciously wrapped in grease and I did not care at all. I will say that the food seemed 'squished' the fries were okay but maybe something happened in transport? I also remember the sandwich itself a bit bigger than I remember. Perhaps something changed with the menu? Those are the reasons they got three stars this time around.

Overall fine, not bad not great. The drive thru line went by pretty fast. Kids soda is very small (think 1990s kiddie size). Hot dog was grilled nicely but they forgot to add ketchup on the hot dog. I was surprised to hear that they won't mix and match shake flavors...If all shakes are the same price it doesn't make sense to deny someone from getting half mint and half cookie dough shake.

Great place! quite busy but serve good food. I love their milkshakes especially. You can sit at the bar and watch them prepare burgers and hotdogs for the fun of it.

The only reason I give service 4 stars is because the lady who took my order and gave me my food in the drive thru was really nice. Sounded like she may have been losing her voice this day and she still had a positive attitude! We waited over 30 minutes in the drive thru (3rd car in line) for our meal. I didn’t see anyone with a big order, so I’m not sure why it took so long. After leaving I then realized they gave me the wrong burger. Luckily, I liked the burger they did give me so I just stuck with it. Service time wise, this place has never changed no matter how many chances I give it. I won’t be back.

This place has really gone downhill. Gone is the unique old-time diner feel. You order at a screen, seat yourself, and there is little to no contact from employees. No one welcomed us or even thanked us for coming in. The quality of the food has also gone down, although the shakes seemed to be pretty good. I am not sure how much longer this place will be around.

We went through the drive through at 10pm to get shakes on a Saturday night just to be told they stop making shakes at 10pm. You are literally called steak and SHAKE? Never had this problem at any other locations.

Summary: 2 stars The food is decent - definitely better burgers than McDonald’s, with more toppings options too. But this place suffers from a chronic lack of good service. I always end up feeling like no one cares about me, that the servers are avoiding me, and that the place is so disorganized that there’s somehow 4 or 5 employees in the dining room at one time yet none of them are available to take my order. Food comes out very slowly and you often have to ask for it, or else they’ll forget and it will sit for 20 minutes. Food: 3 stars The burger was good. However, I wouldn’t recommend the seasoned fries, they just dump a bunch of seasoning on the pile of fries after they put them on your plate, so you either get no season or a mouthful so intense it’s gross - see the attached pic. I also got a strawberry chocolate shake, which was good. Service: 1 star Not good... very slow. I was seated and someone came by to take my drink order almost immediately. But I said I needed a few minutes to decide on my food, and then I think my server forgot about me? I waited more than 15 minutes before he came back out into the room, and then he took an order at a table directly behind me and walked back into the kitchen. He came back out a few minutes later and went back to the same table directly behind me, and then I had to flag him down as he walked back to the kitchen in order to get him to take my order. I do think he felt guilty about forgetting me, because he brought me a refill almost immediately after that even though I had barely made a dent in the first drink (see attached pic). At that point I was kinda frustrated so I began timing things on my phone. The burger and fries came out pretty quickly (7 mins 32 sec) - no complaints there. But after I finished the burger, I ordered a milkshake and began timing with my phone again. After about 17-18 minutes, I flagged down my server and asked if my milkshake was being made. He said he would go check, and he came back with it almost immediately. Final time from order to delivery was 18 minutes and 21 seconds, for a single milkshake. I kinda wondered if it had been sitting there for a while and he just forgot to bring it to me? It could have been coincidence I suppose. But service here really sucks.

Took 5 minutes to be sat and it was slow. Maybe 5 tables with people in them. Took forever to have them come get our order and then 35 minutes to get our food. Hopefully that is worth the wait. The shakes were great, otherwise it would have been one star. Send your waitresses to charm school and hire faster cooks.

We arrived at 10:00 in the morning sharp for breakfast, the dining area was empty when we were seated. The coffee my mother received was cold, & they took more than 15 minutes to bring me my orange juice. 20 minutes after we were seated, a family of 6-7 arrived & they were served their food more than 10 minutes before they brought ours, when our order was pretty simple! Not only that, but they received water with their ordered drinks. They didn't accommodate us & my mother saw the cashier touching food that was about to be served. My mother specifically requested toast to replace the biscuit for her meal with salsa while we were placing our order, & not only did they bring her the biscuit instead, but they kept forgetting to bring her the toast & salsa while they we're "fixing" her order & didn't even bring her the toast until she was completely done with her meal, when she wanted to have it with her sunny side up eggs that were hanging from the side of the plate, & didn't even bring her salsa at all, & when we got our bill, they charged us extra for the side of shredded cheese when the waitress told us that it came with the meal! My mother & I were pretty upset with the poor service we received. I understand if they we're low on staff, but it wasn't THAT busy to excuse them from the type of service we received. I guess there's that old saying "cheap food = cheap service" that applies to this place. Will never eat at this location again.

I did not know that steak 'n shake has fallen so far. If I am from out of town and typically don't get to enjoy steak 'n shake. The last closest one that was used to be near me was in New York City. It has been a long time since I had some so I wanted to stop in while I was in the area on travel. This location not only had a terrible smell when I walked on the front door, but I could tell that it's not been cleaned for a while. The fact that you got rid of the cashiers to save money and just hire kitchen staff only goes to show me that you were in dire straits. The fries were undercooked. The burger was decent, however it was not the best bun in the world as it was soaked in that garlic sauce. The fact also that you have to scan a QR code for a soda is going to show how much Penny pinching is going on at this location. I should have known as soon as I pulled up and didn't see anybody in the dining room that I was in for a world of heart. My milkshake also was not fully blended and had full ice cream at the bottom. This was not the steak 'n shake that I remember the past, I will have to just sit there and live with my memories.

went in the drive thru tonight and had to wait 20 mins for three burgers, had to come inside to get a refund. when i went inside there was only one person working the store the person on the grill had to stop cooking to come give me a refund, while i watched some black girl in the back just staring at customers while i could see the place was packed. also some other tall black guy who was eatting a brownie and staring at his phone. while i heard another black girl saying homophobic things in the back. i'm surprised the one person who was actually working sticks around for this. i wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, makes no sense you guys would only have four people on shift on a saturday night before the super bowl, yet seems like you guys wanted your grill person to do everything. pathetic. do not eat here, the customer service was awful outside of the one person who helped me. and if i were an owner or a manager at your store, those three people who did nothing to help the team out would have been let go at the drop of a dime.

They were running on a slim crew (most likely the fault of the company itself, not employees). The food itself was good, but way over priced. Shakes are no longer in fun glasses and instead are just in a Styrofoam cup. Condiments and seasoning are no longer kept on tables either. I'm serious when I say it was like a weird alternate experience remembering how busy it used to be and now it's just a sad ghost town. The employees were friendly and working hard. This is clearly the fault of the company itself.

Received the completely wrong order. I ordered a number 5 plain and got a burger that was not a number 5 with everything on it. To top it off, the fries were freezing cold. I would not recommend eating here.

I pulled into drive thru approximately 1030pm. I sat for abt 2 minutes before I had to blow my horn to be acknowledged. Immediately was told the shake machine was down. I finally was able to place my order (3pc chicken finger meal). Clerk said it’s too late for chicken fingers. I had previously been told they couldn’t be ordered after 1130pm. So I questioned the discrepancy. Clerk said it depends on the night. Which makes no sense. It appears they close the fryer and shake machine down early to speed up closing procedures. If closing time is midnight there’s no reason chicken tenders and shakes can be ordered at 1030pm. I will definitely be calling to speak to the store manager to get clarity on what/when items can be ordered.

We had an order for 5 people. Our burgers came with no vegetables at all. Cheese fries had no cheese, we actually went back to get cheese. One person ordered chips, but they didn't have any... So they replaced them with fries with no notice. Both employees and manager were completely dismissive. If I could, I would give zero stars. Terrible.

The price for the quality and quantity of food is ridiculous. I spent $40 for 2 meals and a shake. The fries had zero seasoning and they no longer have the steak n shake steak burger/fry seasoning at the table to help add flavor to bland food, the only way to get seasoning is to buy a bottle, in other words I have to now pay an up charge for seasoning 🫩😮‍💨. I hadn't been to steak n shake since 2020 so I was unaware of the changes no more $5 Burger and fries, no more side by side shakes, shakes only have one size now so no large, medium, or small, and everything is ordered from a kiosk which doesn't allow for customization. Overall probably won't be going back and will give remaining gift card balance to some else. I'm starting to understand why so many closed empty stores are sitting with signs on windows.

Well usually an old school fan. But fast food 101 pack the bags correctly. Hot chili does not go in upside down or sideways your lids and packaging simply is not that strong. This location needs serious help. Had a bag completely obliterated in my car and I felt the eat taking the bag from the window. Burgers were overcooked as well. So overall this trip complete failure on all levels.

Customer service horrible. I was waiting on an order for nearly 10 minutes. If it hadn't been for a regular customer, I'd probably start acting up. So while I'm standing there, the guy had already put burgers on the grill, because they were on there for longer than I was waiting. I'm just watching because he left the grill and was mingling with customers! I'm looking like what about those burgers dude??!? I complained and the Manager did the order over and was very apologetic about everything! Seems like she need to be CLONED, because everyone else is so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!! Steak ‘n Shake on Preston Road in Frisco, Texas, has earned one of the most unfortunate reviews I’ve ever had to write. I’ve reviewed many restaurants over the years, but this experience stands out as particularly annoying and even physically painful. On Christmas Eve, I placed an online order that said it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant at 4:53 PM, only to find both front doors completely locked, despite people inside eating and others trying to leave. Patrons were trapped inside, and those outside, including myself, couldn’t get in. A woman inside attempted to get the staff’s attention, but no one responded. Finally, a staff member with a headset let out the people who were stuck and allowed me inside after I showed my online order. At the counter, I was handed my food and was already frustrated by the chaotic situation. As I tried to leave, another employee had locked the door behind me. I walked into the locked door with such force that I tweaked my shoulder, causing significant pain. The same staff member with the headset nonchalantly opened the door for me without any apology. To make matters worse, when I got home, the burger patty was flavorless, and the fries were room temperature. I was genuinely looking forward to revisiting Steak ‘n Shake, having just moved from the Midwest where it was one of my favorite places. This experience has completely soured my view, and I won’t be returning to this location. If I could give it -5 stars, I would.

Im sorry. This restaurant has been a nightmare for me for several different reasons over the last 6 months. They have messed up orders up countless times. Mistakes happen so i just check them now. I am currently in the front drive thru winder going on 20+ minutes. I ordered 1 bbq bacon with double cheese. Plz FIX THIS PLACE.

Says open until 12am but after 1030pm they don't let you eat in even though there is no signage saying that. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Hopefully the other 20 something people that got the same treatment leave a post for corporate to see how they are chasing customers away.

I came to pick up a door dash up front was empty with guest still had to wait nearly 20 something minutes with 2-3 people being in the back for some reason. I didn’t see them come up front until the last 4 minutes I was in the store. I’m going to be really honest and say young people need to start treating jobs more than just a paycheck because this was absurd.

On November 13, 2025, I experienced a hostile and unprofessional incident with General Manager Aaron Gaudreau at Steak ’n Shake #0519 (3440 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX). I informed an associate that we were dining in and politely requested a small container for my cheese fries. Instead, I was told I had to pay for chili, even though I was not ordering chili. When I asked for clarification, Mr. Gaudreau became combative, raised his voice, and yelled at me for over two minutes, which I recorded. He repeatedly told me that if I didn’t like his “policy,” I could leave and go eat somewhere else. I told him more than nine times to stop speaking to me, yet after I sat down, he left the counter, approached my table, and continued yelling, saying he had “been here since 11 AM,” taking his frustration out on me. Immediately after refusing me, he gave free containers to two customers and gave my mother one as well, showing targeted and inconsistent treatment. His conduct was harassing and created a hostile dining environment. Please investigate and review store video.

We ordered door dash tonight and the entire order was over an hour late and when we FINALLY got it. It was completely wrong. My girlfriends burger had cheese on it when she's allergic. My hotdog had mustard when it says no mustard on the receipt. Everything was spilled in the bag. The food was cold(this is the only thing that's probably doordash's fault).

Erin, manager just informed us at 1030 that we cannot dine in, even though the door says lobby is open until 12. Stated we had to order & leave. Yet, there is a lobby full of people eating. When I asked why door says until 12... she stated she was telling us (a group of 7) & another group that came in after us of 6... that we could order to go only & leave. Extremely rude & unprofessional. Especially given online listing & the door both say lobby open til 12.

I ordered Garlic burgers, Absolutely it is rediculce , They add garlic and salt on top of the bun! it was sssoooo bad! After i came home i feel sick! and I don’t know what is that.

Food was cold. I asked for no whip cream and no cherry on my tuxedo (sorry we don't do that) lite chocolate shake..I got both. My burger was cold and burnt. Very rude young women..won't be back.

3440 Preston rd. I spoke with a worker whom was a white male and told him gnats were in the ketchup tube. He did nothing and went back to work. So I saw another worker and ask him was a manager working and he said yes. I asked him to ask her for the white males name so I could file a written complaint against him. The manager looked at me and kept talking to her coworkers. I finished eating and walked up to the counter and asked the manager hey didn’t your worker tell you what I said. She responded yes but you are supposed to come up here and ask me yourself. I said so you didn’t want to know what the problem is and why I wanted his name. I told her that she is so unprofessional to the highest level. She is the worst example of a leader. Please check the video. Management needs to do better on their management selections.

I hadn’t eaten at a Steak ‘n Shake in years, and was really looking forward to eating here. My daughter and I got the same thing: grilled cheese and fries. I should mention this was late afternoon - we were the only customers in the store. I was shocked when the Mexican woman cook came and slung the tray on the counter with an “I dare you to say anything” look on her face. Both sandwiches were burned. Not a little, but burnt black. And the fries were cold and hard. Not even a little warm, they were cold. We’ll never come back here.

i just went in today not that long ago and the workers here don’t know what they’re doing. ordered 2 burgers and they went back there and made whatever they wanted and gave it to us. took them forever to get my order wrong too. place would be awesome if it just completely had a new staff. 11/6/25 time 5pm. get them kids off the schedule please🙏.

I normally don’t complain about the food here but this visit, I was given a chicken tender that was rubber. The breading fell right off and grease POURED out of it. It wasn’t edible. To make things worse, the seats were covered in grease that ended up getting all over my clothes and not a single employee was doing anything. I can now see why this place barely gets customers anymore.

Had 40 minutes until close and was staring us down instead of making our shakes. I understand how it feels when customers come in within the last hour before closing and you just want to go home however it is inappropriate to just stare at us and make faces and call us annoying to your coworker as if we can't hear you 5 feet from us. They have plenty of time to close still and should not be working in this industry if they can't handle customers coming in when you do not want them to. This place definitely needs better customer service!!

To begin, I just want to state that I know what it’s like working in the food industry and I understand trying to close a store. However I came in 40 minutes before they closed to order 1 shake. I was stared at and uncomfortable while I waited. I tried to stay out of the girl mopping the floors way but that wasn’t good enough? The lady in the back asked me to move very rudely not even the girl mopping? The worst part of the whole situation was the another girl who decided to come out to the lobby and talk to the girl mopping to say that I was “so annoying” for ordering FORTY minutes before closing. Don’t work in the industry if you can’t handle proper customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst food experiences we've ever had. We ordered two plain burgers, and every single one came loaded with everything—mustard, pickles, the works. This was not just a mistake; it was dangerous. My stepdad is severely allergic to mustard, and his burger was covered in it. To make matters worse, the order took over an hour and a half to arrive, and when it did, the food was stone cold. We tried to get help, but the general manager, Aaron, was completely unhelpful. He refused to offer a refund and just handed us a corporate number that didn’t even work. Unacceptable customer service, unsafe food handling, and zero accountability. We will never order from this location again, and I strongly suggest others think twice.

I gave this place a try, and I honestly didn’t care for it. I love the atmosphere with the whole diner esthetic, but that’s where my praises ends. The service is……..fine. It was neither good nor bad, it was average at best. And while the food tasted ok at first, it had this really bad after taste, which is just bad. Trust me, Beef Tallow doesn’t make the fries nor the chicken tenders better. In fact I’d argue that it’s what created the nasty after taste. Because of that and the Beef Tallow being the real culprit, I have to say that it’s in the bottom 3 worst fast food chains I’ve ever been to, including both White Castle & Chick Fil A.

Absolutely ridiculous. We went to Steak ‘n Shake expecting, you know… an actual burger. What we got was a sad, lonely patty thrown between two buns no lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no pickles, no sauce, not even CHEESE. Just meat and bread. That’s not a burger that’s a punishment. And don’t even get me started on the service. The place was practically empty, but somehow it still took forever. We stood around wondering if the employees forgot they work in food service. Honestly, it felt like a prank. I’ve had faster service and better burgers at a gas station. Save your money and your sanity go anywhere else.

Walked in to a sign telling me I had to use a kiosk to order. No one greeted us. the only interaction I had with the employee was calling to get my order. Chili fries are not good. I expected some chili, not beans and brown liquid, not palatable cheese and limp undercooked fries. Your prices are overpriced for the quality of food you provide. I guess this will be my first and last time having steak n shake.
