Great option when inside the park. Place has an old world ranch style decor and features local art. The food and drinks are good. I recall the salad portion being very generous and the cocktail had quite a kick! Big shout out to our server, Debi. Amazing sense of humor and comic timing, she made our visit memorable with her quick witted jokes! She could have her own show!
A good spot to eat and get gas in Death Valley which had few facilities. Excellent service and the food is good. Price is reasonable considering the remote location. The other popular facility, Furnace Creek, is much more expensive and in my opinion lower quality.
Honestly didn’t expect much from a restaurant in a national park because vegan food is always a struggle but of course, not usually as much in California. 😌 These guys did not disappoint. Even the soup of the day was split pea soup and it was vegan; no ham to worry about! They have a plant-based “chicken” patty that can be added as the protein to the main dishes and a bean burger which they told me was vegan. They also have vegan cheese for the pizza. In short, the vegan options were surprisingly plentiful and I couldn’t be happier. This is the next best thing to an all vegan restaurant (which is preferable) but at least we have many options to choose from!
Absolutley amazing. Food is fresh and tastier than any other food place ive been too. Waiter was amazing and made sure we enjoyed our meal and got everything wr ordered. Atmosphere was great with not to many people but not to little people, but the music was a bit quiet. This id a very kid friendly space and the kids menu is full of variety and options. Inside is wonderfull, with photos of death valley, decorations like flowers, and a beautiful chandelier. 5/5 stars if you are in the area and want a meal definitely come here.
We visited last Sunday on our way to Death Valley. The drive from North Las Vegas was a bit long, so we were really hungry when we arrived. Luckily, we found this restaurant inside the park. The service was friendly and quick, and the food was surprisingly good! I had a chicken wrap, and my husband had a hamburger — he loved it. I honestly didn’t expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to offer a wider variety of healthy options and side dishes. Overall, a great stop!
A few vegetarian and vegan options but definitely tasty, well made and awesomely edible. It was good to eat some hot vegan food in the middle of the national park. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegan food in the middle of the national park. And it's wonderful to see the vegan dishes are really plentiful and are really well made. I sincerely hope they will expand on the vegan/vegetarian menu here further.
What a surprise in the middle of the desert. Had delicious elk chili with gluten free bread and salad. Great service too
Great place to stop and eat if visiting Death Valley. Good was delicious, came quickly, and service was great. Near the mesquite flat sand dunes for reference. I got a wrap and it was very good!! However, fries tasted a little stale so maybe get a different side. Place is big on the inside so large groups would probably fit. We didn’t have to wait for a table and went around 8pm.
Got there early, beat the crowd. Menu is kind of limited but the ribeye was perfect and the pasta with shrimp was enough for a lunch tomorrow. Loved it after hiking Mosaic Canyon. Draft beer machine was down but more than enough choices in cold bottles.
The place is amazing. It looks really great. But the food is another level. I have never tried fish’n’chips as perfects as this ones. And the BBQ wings were super delicious. We are on the road for 5 days and this place made us believe in tasty food again!
I stayed at Stovepipe Wells during my visit to Death Valley. They served good food considering the different restaurants I've tried in the national parks. Their portions were huge and had great flavors. The staffs were very friendly and attentive to your needs. They offer a breakfast buffet that was $10 per person and worth starting the day and then exploring the park. I would recommend people dining here if you're staying in the area.
A surprise in the middle of Death Valley. The food was delicious. I had the stuffed peppers, which was very tasty. Good service. Prices are on the high side, but what can one expect at this location? The view is great, with the sunset behind the mountains surrounding Death Valley.
This is definitely where you want to eat when you come to Death Valley. The food is really good quality and delicious - the portions are massive for the price. The burgers are delicious. We came for lunch and then drove back from The Ranch for dinner - we were not paying $30 again for a lackluster buffet at The Ranch. They were understaffed but so friendly and the food still came out quickly. For dinner we sat on the Saloon side which was just as good! Atmosphere was nice too!

Dec 27 2024-Jan 5 2025 We stayed at Stove pipe for 9 days. We were a bit concerned about having breakfast and dinner every single day. Our previous National park dining experience had been courtesy Delaware north at Sequoia and Kings canyon. The food served there was marginal at best. Our expectations at Toll road were totally exceeded. The food was great as was the service. We ate all our breakfasts there, a buffet. A wide verity of well-prepared food starting at 7am. We ate all but 2 dinners there. Not a ton of choices, but all excellently prepared. Way better than our previous experiences and way better than the dinner buffet at Furnace creek. All of our servers were wonderful, cheerful and friendly. A couple of them stand out though, Bobby for breakfast (he agreed to my using his name), "D" at breakfast and "V" at diner. I did not ask them about using their full names. You can't go wrong staying or dining with the Powder company based on our experience here.
This restaurant is a life saver , friendly staffs , nice hot food look at that pizza really huge and tasty good!

Middle of nowhere inside Death Valley National Park, this is definitely the best restaurant we visited during our 4-day stay. Nicely decorated with movie posters and rustic feel. Waiter was super friendly and welcoming. Food: Burgers were cooked well and tasty. Pickel and fries/onion rings(+$2) came with the burgers. Highly recommend the Ancho Tortilla soup(a little spicy) and the buffalo chicken wing. The best meal we had inside the Death Valley National Park.
It was a surprise to find such a good breakfast buffet inside a national park. The owner of the restaurant greeted us during the meal to ask us how the food was, and even brewed a darker roast of coffee when we commented on it. All of the food was delicious and for $13.99 it was a great deal. Would definitely stop in again for a hot meal. I dinged one star just because the pancakes were kept on the heater a little too long and were a bit cool when I tried, but everything else was excellent.
A very pleasant surprise for a midday refuel after an early morning of hiking before heading out again in the afternoon. The menu offers tons of great options—we ordered a pizza that was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was especially pleasant, informative, friendly, and proactive, which made the experience even better. We would definitely return if visiting Death Valley again!
After coming in to escape the rain and very tired we were sat quickly and the waiter was very attentive. The wings were amazing more than I expected from a little Death Valley stop. The burger and fries were excellent and the cookies and milk were also much better than expected. The cookies seemed to be made there they were warm and soft. If you ever stopping by Death Valley give it a try.
A great place to eat in Death Valley! The food was amazing, and the staff were kind and helpful. I am gluten free, egg free, and dairy free and they helped me easily find options and were very knowledgeable and helpful!

We ordered the bison burger and fish and chips. My husband didnt like the bison burger, the blue cheese was overpowering everything and it was too much sauce that it was hard to it. The fish and chip did its par not too bad. Overall, the ambiance of the place was great and the server was really nice and jolly. Everything is of course pricey but that is just the way it is since there are limited option. Alrhough the food was not perfect we enjoyed the place. It was in a nice location near Mesquite Sand Dunes. It also has nearby gift shop and general store.

The burger and fries were good and the side salad was great. Server was good. Everyone was nice and helpful. The crowd, which I guess I was apart of, will be tourist. If the park was busy, expect unruly children of others around. Hostess did her best but they need a different station for Togo orders so that the Hostess can do her job when the rush comes in. IMO.

Edible food, the highest compliment I can give. Had the veggie pasta. It had no cheese, mostly squash as the veggies. Sauce had tomato chops/lumps. Arguala was put on the side, didn't feel it went well with it. Added the plant based chicken which was a rip off. 4 thin chops with the blandest taste. There was a garlic bread put on top the pasta. Not crisp or toasty, just a soft mushy piece. The service was slow, took 20+ minutes. Microwave pasta is faster and tastes better.
