Osteria l’è Maistess is an institution of good, milanese cuisine. It is one of the few places who has managed to keep high quality standards over decades. The food is Devine and the service just fabulous. The place itself is very traditional... very classic style .. old wooden furnitures ... nothing to fancy but nice.

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely garden - ask for a table outside when booking! Seasonal menu with excellent dishes and generous portions. The staff is a bit rushed but helpful and friendly. If I can offer a suggestion, as a vegetarian, it would be nice to have a few dishes More available (some vegetarian dishes on the menu weren't included and put on the menu even though they were available and very good!). The interior is also very beautiful; a lovely restaurant, highly recommended!

Excellent osteria located in a property that once belonged to the Medici family. A charming village, you'll never believe you're outside Milan. Very refined cuisine. Extensive wine list. Mushroom appetizer and mushroom first course. Everything was good. Even the classic homemade tiramisu to finish was excellent.

A restaurant and osteria I knew by name....we had lunch today. Excellent food, carefully prepared, delicate, and of good quality. Attentive and timely service. The place is very quaint; I was told it used to be a tavern.... Vintage pieces, sideboards, a Singer sewing machine, a fireplace, lots of photos—in short, a very comfortable location. Adequate price. We'll be back and I recommend it.

Very pleasant location on the veranda overlooking the small but well-kept garden. Normal portions, well prepared and presented. Wait times are sometimes a bit long considering the amount of food. The wine list is reasonable. The quality/price ratio is quite reasonable. A bit chaotic in the dining room and the staff are unfriendly. A shame.

Poco entusiasmante. Piatti della tradizione in alcuni casi rivisitati in modo anche interessante. Purtroppo non convince il palato. Antipasti buoni, carne annegata nell’olio.

Rapporto qualità prezzo molto deludente, ambiente caloroso e carino ma sedie scomode a starci seduti. Prezzi da osteria in Brera. Spiace ma esperienza da non ripetere.
