This restaurant is a clone of Taco Bell from the 80's and I was beyond delighted--far superior to anything TB can make now, and it was all absolutely fresh. We were just passing through, but if somehow I'm in the area again, stopping here will be a "must"!

I live in Oklahoma and just recently they have built 2 or 3 Taco Houses for us Okies. It's nice to have them nearby, but call me Mufasa Bc I'd be Lion if I said that I didn't miss the long wait everytime we came back to Oklahoma. For some reason it tastes extra Bomb Diggity when you know that you ain't gonna be able to just drive down the street and score some Crunchies! I do miss the trips me and my family would take down there. The thought of Super Tacos and a Crunchy Tostada W/extra cheese to top off my meal, paired with a Gimongous sweet tea Ala Diabeetus, Taco Casa is simply a place that you must stop and eat at wvrytime you pass by if you don't have one back home. 20 DIABEETUS ⭐''S OUT OF 10 😊

Food is good. Set up like taco bell used to be back in the 70s. Food preparation, themes, and even the uniforms. Food taste like its real and not corporate. Taco bell has gone down hill on flavor and customer service. Taco casa, keep up the good work. I see your sucessful future providing u can stay away from micro managing corporate vipers.

Stopped here on our way home from Oklahoma. Never ate at a Taco Casa before and was pleasantly surprised for a fast food taco joint! The burritos were huge and really good. I also had a taco 🌮 which was also good with a really fresh taco shell. There seems to be several Taco Casa's popping up all over the place. I'll be a return patron at the location near my home or when I'm out and about in surrounding cities where they have one.

Tried it for our first time driving through to Houston. Dine in experience was great! Fast and friendly service. Restaurant was clean which was great. I also liked the fact that the kitchen was open so you could see your food being made. Food was fresh with good flavor! Thank you Taco Casa.

I was greeted as I came in the front door by the smiling lady at the register. I ordered & got my Taco salad fairly fast, asking with my tea. Taco Casa has the BEST fresh tea!!!! I have never gotten old/stale tea at any of their restaurants.

Retro, clean, good quality basic fast food Mexican. Went in for my first visit and was taken back to the 80s based on the color palette of the decor. Very clean and large dining room. The condiment and napkin counters were clean and stocked. I ordered a super burrito and spicy bean burrito to start. Both were hefty and tasted fresh and I didn't feel like I was being cheated like I do at the TB down the road. The bean burrito does not come with onions normally so I ordered another one with onions and with mild sauce. Much better. I also ordered a regular taco and it was good. The entire top of the taco was covered with fresh shredded cheese. Everything was excellent. Service was cool but efficient. They charge a 2.8% service charge on all orders and offer a discount for cash payment. This is a way to get around the law that prohibits charging extra for credit card payments. They even charge the service fee for debit cards which is not right. Otherwise great experience. No trash cans so you don't have to bus your own table. 👍

My husband and I just love Taco Casa. We usually eat from there at least once a week. Never been back to Taco Bell after going there. So much more meat and cheese! Have never heard of this place but we needed a quick bite that wasn't another burger place. Reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. For a fast food style taco place it was good. Flavors are on point and it's not too bad price wise. If you miss the enchirito from taco bell they have a chilada that is better then that. Definitely hit this place up.

This Taco Casa is always a good place to visit. Even though the building is older and showing some wear, the seating area is always clean. They have a young man that constantly keeps the seats and tables nearly spotless, he does a great job and cleans up after every customer. The bathrooms are pretty decent but could use more regular attention. I eat here regularly when I am in town and will continue to do so.

We found this restaurant while traveling from Texas to North Dakota. It met all of our expectations. Fast, very helpful, friendly service at the counter and great food that was reasonably priced. The dining area was spotless and a young guy was doing a great job of keeping it that way! Thank you very much!

Taco Casa in Gainesville, TX is an absolute LEGEND. These folks have been slinging the best Mexican food around since way back in the day, and somehow they’re still operating at championship level. The tacos are loaded like they’re preparing you for battle, the chilada could probably solve international conflicts, and the whole place runs like a well-oiled tortilla machine. Decades later and they’re still the undisputed kings of fast, delicious Mexican food. If there’s a Taco Hall of Fame, Taco Casa owns the building.

I can't speak to the atmosphere because I went through the drive thru, but the food here is so good. The last time I was here, the line was wrapped around the building so it was a bit of a wait, but not too long. The person who took my order was friendly, even though they were swamped. I was even more impressed when I got to the window and saw what appeared to be a bunch of teens or young adults running the show. The prices are good, the food is great, and the staff is friendly. Can't ask for more than that!

My husband picked up dinner and realized when he got home that our Cheladas, Hot Sauce, and Jalapeños were missing. He drove back and I called the store. I spoke with the manager (an older female that's been in the industry for 34 years). She was extremely sweet She apologized profusely and was so genuine. She even found some Taco Bucks for a future purchase for our troubles. She personally made sure each item was delivered the second time which instantly made my husband happy. Thank you so much and if I can get the manager's name, I'll update my review. Customer service is difficult to navigate at times, but she's clearly an experienced professional!! Taco Casa, you better treat her right and pray she chooses to stay with you. 😁

Not being familiar with Taco Casa tacos I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the two super tacos I purchased. Store was ready to get in and out while on a road trip north. The restroom was spotless. If I get a chance again in the future I'll stop for something else.

Prices a little higher than before but still very fair for what you get. This is not a place to come for authentic Mexican food, it's very much American type, very plain. The quality and portions are excellent though, and the restaurant is kept very clean, no stale tortillas or wilted veggies. If that sounds like a good time, you'll be happy here. The Super Nachos are a winner.

The food here is food, that's about it. Depends on what you want, it's either ground beef and beans in a burrito, or ground beef and bean in a taco. it's all the same just a different delivery system. But it is tasty and a fast lunch. It is starting to get expensive but still worth it as long as they don't raise prices. Make sure you stay close to a bathroom for an hour or so after you eat there. It's not as bad a Taco Bell, but still a good precaution.

I visit Taco Casa frequently and the food is always good even if a little greasy. However on this occasion I stepped up to the register before I was 100% ready and talked about a selection, then considered another item. The store was not busy. The cashier had keyed in the first item already and was perturbed when I was waffling and ended up changing my mind. I understand that as soon as an item hits the queue screen, the team starts fulfilling the order, but it would have been better for the cashier to hold off her entry and confirm my choice before she entered anything. I'll be more sure in the future but a little patience is always good when dealing with the public.

Food was fine, and sweet tea okay. What is bad right now is the road to taco casa. Hope it is done soon! Only 1 lane open, and I was 7th in line to order, plus 4 more waiting for food. Took a long time compared to other times I've been there. When the road is fixed, I'll be back.

The owner of this facility does not recognize military veterans or police or firemen's discount. So I do not frequent this place that often. The iced tea is always warm 🙄

First bad experience. Cashier very friendly but didn't know the menu well enough to explain a supreme burrito, food was just barely warm, ordered a Beef Burrito which I thought was the Supreme Burrito and 3 soft tacos. Order was not correct. Now you have to pay a surcharge if you use a credit card, not very customer friendly. These surcharges are already figured into most prices on the menu and then to get charged again on top of the menu prices. I also realize you get a discount if you pay cash which is great, buy what does there need to be any surcharges of any kind. I take the time to visit Taco Casa to eat and then extra fees, come on! Also, the sign about the surcharges could be much bigger to see and read. I have eaten at this Taco Casa many times and have driven quite a few miles to eat at this Taco Casa but I may reconsider next time and eat elsewhere. Store was clean and seemed well staffed but experience definitely gets 3 stars this trip.

The Restrooms needed attention and smelled like someone exploded. Food was made fast and we did not have to wait in line. The lobby was clean and had all the things we needed to go with our meals. Thanks for doing all you do to make customers happy.

I sat in the outside lane for 7 minutes waiting for the man to take my order while the lane closer to the building has 4 cars orders taken & getting their food.

I think this was the most disappointing super burrito I have ever eaten at taco casa. Sour cream waited to make appearance at very bottom and really skimpy on the lettuce. I don't do tomatoes or black Olives but never had a burrito just basically hurriedly put together. Do better. All I have to say.

The food was fresh n hot.... going into woman's bathroom, there was a worker with long brown hair wrapped in pony tail. She ran her fingers under water n dried off n went back behind counter and disappeared. Clearly states how to wash your hands especially of your in food service. Was just passing through the town.

This locations portions are about 30% less than an average Taco Casa. If you prefer more tortilla than filling this is the spot for you.

Stood in front of the register for at least 10-15 minutes before an employee took my order. Numerous employees seen me standing there but never acknowledged me. Finally placed my order and went to sit down to eat. Idk if any other reviews mentioned this but the food tasted like cleaning products. Couldn’t even eat the 3 items I paid for due to the taste. Ordered the Super Burrito minus tomatoes and olives, and I’m sorry but it’s not supposed to be as thin as Taco Bell’s bean & cheese burritos. It was sadly not edible due to the chemical taste. Ordered a soft taco and same thing chemical taste. Ordered Frijoles and couldn’t get past the taste of old beans (like they were from the day before). Unfortunately wasted money on food I couldn’t consume. I was traveling through after I got off work & stopped for a quick bite to eat. Walked away after throwing out the food I did purchase. Only plus side was restaurant lobby was spotless. Bathroom (women’s) needed a good scrubbing and cleaning up toilet paper off the floor. Lobby is bigger than my local location so that part was a plus. No big trash cans to clean up your trash. I was told by a former employee that you leave it on the table, and an employee throws it away.

Food is good, but don't come later in the evening. Though the posted hours are 10 AM to 10:30 PM, I've had an employee stand at the end of my table and watch me eat at 9:30 PM when I was the last customer in the place. The same employee, a very tall skinny kid, rushed to the door to lock me out at 9:30 one night a couple of weeks ago. Tonight, the same kid turned on the air conditioner at 9:30 to run people out when it's 35 degrees outside. Close at 10:30 PM? Think again, Roy Upshaw!

The people working the drive through are awful. There’s an old lady up there that will ignore you and then call you rude when you try to get her attention. She messed up my order then ignored me after I tried to get her to talk me after believing she’d hung up on me. After she called me rude, I drove up to the window and asked the man what her name was, he smirked at me and then walked away. They’re very unprofessional. You don’t call customers rude after ignoring them. I was so upset that I’ve actually contacted corporate about this matter and I’m not sure I’ll be going back to this store. It seems every time I go someone is rude. Not to mention all of my food was poorly made and simply thrown into the bag.

No big deal,im sure I've ate worse. Decided to inspect the rest and found another crawling thru cheese. Ok im done, meal ruined. Decided to keep digging, found 3 more which then i took pics(pics are on photo page). Take it back to store. Was refunded money only on chilada, not burrito(which i kinda understand, since i ate it)...but it would put me a little more at ease if refunded everything i spent. I'd be lying if i say i wont EVER go back, but definitely no time soon. Then if i do it will be just for nachos(chips&cheese only). Taco casa should've never moved off of Grand Ave🤬

Doesn't even deserve one star, usually not a bad visit but to begin the guy at the drive thru cut us off mid order, then went inside and the simpleton behind the counter was to distracted to hear the order right. I asked for 2 tacos and he gave us 2 taco salads then when we told him we didn't want the taco salads we wanted tacos he just pretended we didn't even speak. They did however go back and redeem themselves they refunded our entire order.

My family and I went through the drive thru, I was attempting to order when the lady on the speaker couldn’t hear me, I tried elevate my voice so that she could, when I was told “ that’s enough” I explained to her that I was speaking where she could hear me, and then asked to speak to the manager when she said with a very Smart Alec tone “then pull to the window then” so I went inside to speak to the manager who was very dismissive and didn’t care what I had to say! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I am very disappointed my family and I have eaten there for years! We won’t be back until they clean out the Riff Raff, complaint filed through corporate!

Can't really tell you if this place has good food or not, the others do, because I got tired of standing at the front counter being ignored. When you acknowledge someone it makes a huge difference. Sad too I wanted tacos.

Ordered a nacho with jalapeños and got a cup of nacho sauce, a lot of chips, and 2 cups of jalapeños. Did you notice I didn't say anything about the meat, because there wasn't any. Alot of taco sauce tho.
