First off, I love Greek food. Second, my wife loves crawfish and Cajun spice. Cajun Greek managed to hit all the necessities for a great family outing at the beach. The food was genuinely good across the board. The dining staff was attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The menu has a great variety, and the kids’ menu had everything our kids wanted. My son even said it was the best pepperoni pizza he’s ever eaten. The crawfish were large, fresh-looking, and spiced just right. I had the crab legs — and while I don’t claim to be a crab leg expert, I can confidently say they were delicious. The tzatziki and feta appetizer was outstanding. And the sweet tea? Perfectly sweet without being syrupy or gross. Side note: our two-year-old declared the crawfish “too spicy” — which gave us a good laugh. The bathrooms were clean, and we noticed several other families with small kids, which made it feel even more welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu. Highly recommend for a family-friendly spot in Galveston.
We came here and had some of the biggest and best oysters I've ever had in my life. The catfish was the best I've ever had as well. Alyssa was a great server who knew a lot about the menu and when we asked her to surprise us, she chose perfectly. We loved the dessert called chocolate suicide. 10/10 we will be back.
The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. We got the Gyro and fries along with the Shrimp Diablo appetizer (which made a filling meal and was delicious). The bartender was great & so were the drinks. We will definitely come back when we are on the island.
Excelent place. Delightful environment. Highly recommend RED SNAPPER ( Blackened ). Service was amazing. A bit pricey but worth it. Quality and freshness of food was out of this world.
Shrimp Mediterranean is the dish to go for. Great food and great people. Will come back the next time I’m in Galveston.
Fantastic Happy Hour not to mention their everyday menu. Don’t let the small outside fool you. There’s plenty of seating and service is always great!
Tonight we ate at Cajun Greek and had such a wonderful experience. It was my very first time trying crawfish, and our waitress, Darlene, made it absolutely memorable. She was incredibly kind, patient, and informative, even taking the time to show me how to peel the crawfish. That personal touch really made the experience special and made me feel so comfortable trying something new. The food was fantastic. I honestly felt like I was in heaven eating those crawfish dipped in special seasoned juices! And the onion rings were outstanding as well, easily the best onion rings I’ve had in many, many years. Perfectly cooked and delicious. A big thank you to Darlene for her amazing service and for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
This has easily become my top dining spot on Galveston Island. It’s not about fancy presentation here—it’s all about incredible flavor. If you love a truly outstanding crab cake, this is the place to go. Our server, Cisco, knew the menu inside and out and provided friendly, efficient service. The mix of Cajun and Greek influences was a pleasant surprise. The gyros were exceptional, easily comparable to ones I’ve enjoyed in Greece, and the Greek salad was fresh and crisp. Even watching another table enjoy crawfish added to the experience. We left impressed and already planning our next visit.
Very good food. Found this place on accident . My wife had the blackened shrimp po-boy. It might be the prettiest po-boy I’ve ever seen (not that po-boys are supposed to be pretty, but it was a good looking po-boy.) Waitress was very patient with my indecisive questioning. I got the gyro. It was good, not great, but “I’d eat it again” good. But what was lacking in the sandwich was forgotten when I ate the fries. They were phenomenal! They were tasty, crispy, and not hardly a hint of grease. I couldn’t keep my wife’s hands off my plate. We will go back just for the fries. She went on and on about the fries. Very fun atmosphere,.
What a local find! Simple local atmosphere hides away some amazing dishes: the Boudin with Gouda and rice was a flavorful start. The Mediterranean sea bass was wonderful, and the Mediterranean Shrimp (18 of them!) with mushrooms and onions over Cajun rice was as surprising as it was delicious. $30 each for the entrees is a steal for the flavors we experienced. If you’re in town the night before boarding your cruise, this one’s a winner.
The crab bisque was delicious! Our server, Chris was very attentive and gave us good recommendations. We loved the sea bass, potatoes, and the butter white wine dipping sauce! The peel away shrimp were tasty as well. The hush puppies were a bit on the dry side, but overall a great meal.
My husband and I are apart of the Galveston Dining Club and this month’s president chose Cajun Greek. We had an amazing experience! The food is always amazing… Alyssa took care of our large group and she was fantastic! Our goal is to support Galveston owned businesses and this was such a great experience ACROSS THE BOARD!!! Thank you to the staff! 💕
Bottom line is, the prices were very fair (actually surprised us it did not cost more). The food was amazing. It's one of those things. Try it, and you will like it. (We loved it) We got this big huge platter for 8 people. It tasted even better then it looked. Never had Greek/Cajun . But it was epic.
We decided to try Cajun Greek because we were craving catfish, and the reviews sounded too good to pass up. They definitely delivered, the quality matched everything we read in other reviews. Our server, Abraham, was friendly, welcoming, and informative, which made the experience even better. We ordered the fried flounder, the gyro with catfish, and a kids’ catfish meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful... well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
Food was very good. We brought our baby and it was a fun lunch atmosphere. The kids meals are generous portions. Honestly younger kids could easily split it. The popcorn shrimp kids meal was 10/10. We also had the shawarma and the classic gyro. All was very good. And the waitress was courteous and did a great job! Glad we went. Only thing is next time I would probably skip getting lemonade as fountain drinks are $5
Without a doubt… I’m speechless!! There are so many options a mix of Mediterranean and seafood to choose from, and absolutely everything, appetizers, vegetables, spinach 🤤, the fresh and deliciously seasoned fish, the creamy crab cake, the flavor of the boudin balls, everything is full of flavor and absolutely delicious! On top of that, Christian’s friendly service, helpful suggestions, and patience made it a great experience to repeat in Galveston 👏🏻👏🏻

Awesome restaurant with a great variety of options to suit any tastes. The service was great and food came quickly. We visited this place twice while we were here it was that good?
Our family ate at this restaurant in July 2025. It was delicious! We enjoyed a family style meal with savory shrimp and delicious blue lobster. This restaurant is on our list to revisit next year.

The Cajun Greek restaurant in Galveston is really great to visit. It’s very popular on weekend nights. And of course that means when we got there we had to wait to get a table. For the most part it offers good food a good prices. But just know that a lot of their food is oily and heavily salted. I like the restaurant, but I have to be prepared for stomach ache after due to the heavy food. I always enjoy their gyros And tzatziki Sauce. They also have very reasonably priced bottles of wine. It was a great place to bring a group because it’s a reasonable.
Food was very good. I would definitely come back if I was in the area again. I had blackened salmon & my husband had sea bass. Both seasoned & flavored really well. The mixed grilled veggies were also good. We had a party of 12 and all the food came out at the same time. We all enjoyed it. GET THE BOUDAIN with Gouda!!
Got a fried shrimp po'boy for $18.99 and I had the biggest portion from our table. Hubby got a grilled flounder, and it was thin, about as wide as some standard sticky notes, and as long as a dollar, but nearly double the price 🤷🏻♀️ Both delicious though! Nice thin breading on the shrimp, well cooked. Our server was nice, but we only got checked on once after getting our food, then we got the "any dessert? Okay here's your check"--no refills offered. Cute atmosphere/decor, and the place smells appetizing. Hush-puppies have some after-spice, otherwise there wasn't much of a cajun menu or spicy smell to the place.
Food is consistent and fairly fresh tasting. Prices have soared. I wouldn't get the shwarma again. It was dry and not as flavorful as some of the other items I've had here. My aunt loves the place, so we'll be back. Plates are decent portion sizes. Packed when we were there on a weekday. Servers were friendly and attentive.
Great, casual place that is on every Best of Gavelston list and deservedly so. Like others, I compared this with Katie's, which I had a few days ago and I liked Cajun Greek much, much more. The peel …

The food is good, everything is very tasty. But – we arrived during happy hour to save money, but the bill didn't reflect this "happy hour" discount anywhere; we had to pay the full price.

Ordered shrimp gumbo to go $26 plus two cups and 4 crackers. Do not get to-go orders. Very disappointed.I I can only afford to go during happy hour there 4-6. We still spent $45. .
Not quite what I expected...the portions are generous. We had the Seafood Plate and the an order of 1.5lb of blue crab...dusted with Paprika. 🤮Who's idea was the paprika, its gross. Literally a heaping of paprika on top of fried crab with no flavor whatsoever. The seafood plate wasn't bad but the stuffed crab on it was horrible. It tasted like Spanish rice with shrimp in it. The lobster bisque wasn't bad but it was a tad on the thicker side. My husband said its different from what he remembered when it was a smaller place. I would definitely consider a revamp on the fried crab. The flavor just isn't there.
Super big unflavored crawfish! Had my hopes high, and left us disappointed! Crawfish was nice and clean, however for that price?? Not a good buy. Wouldn't recommend the crawfish.
