Best Golden Corral anywhere is on Galveston Island. It's been my favorite for almost 30 years. If I had to offer any suggestions, I couldn't find one thing to suggest., from the Manager to the young people cleaning the tables. The food is fresh and plentiful. Rest dooms, clean.

This is the best Golden Corral I have ever been too. My kids and I love it and they have been talking about it since our trip in 2023. We are headed back soon and they said they want to eat there at least twice on our visit!

Emmanuel the manager truly went above and beyond to please and leave a customer with a smile. He is an asset to this location and will be the reason I return knowing we will have a great experience and excellent customer service. Thank you Emmanuel! Its a tradition now that we come here every time we visit Galveston..a few times every summer. The food is always good. The service is always good. They never hurry us along or seem irritated that my family takes an hour or so to eat. I love buffets and this is a great one!

Golden Corral Buffet in Galveston offers a wide variety of delicious options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The Grill House section really stood out especially the beef steak. I tried a medium rare piece and it was cooked perfectly tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Angela took amazing care of us throughout our lunch. Even though she was clearly busy, she never missed a beat constantly checking in with a smile and asking, “You guys okay? Need anything from me?” Her service made the experience even better. We paid $38.71 for two adults, including two fountain drinks, which felt like a great deal for such a satisfying lunch. And of course, we made sure to leave a big tip to thank Angela for her wonderful service. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Galveston and craving a filling and tasty buffet!

Best breakfast I've had at Golden Corral in a long long time!

The buffet was super fresh , fully stocked, big variety of foods, and very tasteful. It was very busy still at 9pm but we were across the road from the beach . which this is what pleased me even more so that with it so crowded and busy that all the staff was still able to keep up with cleaning tables , preparing food and keeping it out on buffet, refills were kept decently full. My only downside if this place was the restroom. It was nearly unusable. Sewage or so.egging smelled and was visible outside of the door in the hall and the floors ,toilets and trash cans were a nasty mess. The rest of the restuarant wasn't nasty like this. It seemed fairly maintained. I would go back for the food for sure.

So impressed with the Veterans Day free dinner offer. So many veterans in uniform or with mementos of their service. The dinner was fantastic, I always enjoy the roast beef, the large chunks are moist and full of flavor.

The food at this restaurant by the Galveston neighborhood is exceptional! They have some food or desserts, like delicious beef patties, chocolate ice cream, etc which you can't find anywhere else. High quality!

Staff here are kind courteous and on their game. Any spill or issues were dealt with immediately. A credit to this chain of restaurants. Food was delicious and usual wide variety with a taco bar I'd never experienced at other locations. Will DEF return.

The food was actually pretty good. I hadn't visited a Golden Corral in at least 10 years prior to today. Spent about $80 for my group of 4 and everyone was satisfied. Absolutely loved the variety!!

Where else can you get fried catfish, okra, chicken fried steak, chop steak, cheesey taters, Mac and cheese, a hamburger, meatloaf, ....... It's a great way to replace all those calories you spent swimming in the ocean all day.

I've been to this location on a number of occasions, but both the food and service were exceptional this past visit. I came here for breakfast and was surprised by how tasty everything is. The food was displayed well, seasoned and the service was awesome. I'll come back here again in the future for sure.

Walked in and it was pretty full on a Sunday! Everyone was wearing gloves to grab the food which to me is great! Our server was polite and attentive! Me and my brother enjoyed our meals but our favorite part was the steak! Medium rare is my favorite and it was so delicious. Not too chewy but just the right amount of crispy-ness on the outside! The welcoming environment and exceptional customer service made our visit truly unforgettable. The prices were very reasonable. After a 7-year hiatus from Golden Corral, I'm delighted we chose to visit this particular location.

Was not expecting the food to be as good as it was. 12 bucks for senior and it was well worth it. Save room dessert as you will find some amazing dishes. Whether you want salad and fruit or pot roast and potatoes they have everything and more.

I'm not a fan of these GC buffetts (my wife is though), but I have to take exception to this one. The service was good, friendly staff, clean buffett lines and dining area and most of all, I was impressed with the food quality and selection. Everything was fresh and full. I can't imagine trying to stock a buffett and keeping it clean and fresh, but they did. If you're a fan of buffets, I highly recommend this one.

A great place to eat, has almost everything; seafood, regular meals, desserts (including cakes, ice cream, smoothies, cookies, sweets, and etc), and vegetarian food. The only disadvantage is that the drinks have to be bought by separate, though the price is reasonable since they are refillable. Waiters are considerably nice and often check if you need anything. I paid approximately $23 for a great meal with drinks and everything. But you can get whatever you want, except for drinks, for as cheap as $17 if you are +18. Kids and seniors have discount.

Best golden corral I've ever been to. It's been a long time since I've been to one but everything here was great. Steak was better than longhorn steakhouse! Also the mini corn dog are better quality than pappasitos. Great yeast rolls and desserts. I'm glad we came her instead of doc Holliday. I have a picky child and it was well priced for a delicious meal. And quick easy walk from the Baymont inn.

Great buffet all of the fresh salad item were fresh and crispy. The clam chowder had a good texture and taste with proper proportions of clam and potatoes. Steamed vegetables were not overcooked, sausage and bbq chicken were perfectly spiced. Good meatloaf and steak and the bbq rib meat fell off of the bone.

About $22 a plate with drink. It’s a lot of food to choose from, steaks, chicken, homestyle, bbq, all the fixings, salads and a ton of desserts. The rolls are great. The staff were nice and kept my tea glass filled. Take out might be less expensive then eating in.

Our waitress was spot on! The steak was tender, cooked just right, great tasting. Fried okra a little salty for me. Our granddaughter is an expert on Mac n Cheese, but she very much disliked it. The roast beef was great tasting. Not much of an atmosphere here. Seemed everyone was loving the chocolate dipped strawberries.

This is not my 1st visit to this location ! The price was only 10$, they offer a variety of food items to choose from . I had fresh and good foods . They even had items that are normally served for Thanksgiving but now it’s a middle of December. They also had a big variety of desserts, I personally had chocolate covered strawberries , an apple and peach pie . The Sweet Christmas music was playing and their team members were working around to make sure you have a satisfactory experience! I strongly recommend this location! I been to a lot of Golden Corral ‘s,and this place is the BEST Golden Corral that we ate at. The front person charging was nice . When you walk in to this place, you notice all the hard workers everywhere and the food was so beautiful displayed. This place was on top of the game with making sure the food was hot and filled . My husband and I was so impressed that we had to try everything.It was around 1:30 on a Tuesday, we live 45 minutes away and just wanted to try Galveston Golden Corral. And the drive was worth it. We even saw the manager going around checking the food.Whoever is running that restaurant, is doing an excellent job. Keep up the good work employees and management.We will be back very soon.

But the salad bar had tons of Nats and there was a hair on the mushrooms. And the ceiling leaks on you while at the buffet. But over all it was still delicious. No other complaints. Nice clean restrooms as well. Easy location to find.

This is the only restaurant that I’ve been to after the reopening of restaurants that I’ve felt a real attempt to keep their customers safe. Gloves are worn once by customers then discarded. The crowd is controlled with barriers and directional arrows. The food was fresh and flavorful. Good job GC.

My experience in Golden Corral was awesome especially its unlimited bbq & steak night when we dined here. A lottssss of food options that made my tummy soo full & thrilled. Steaks & Pork BBQ ribs are the best I had. Crews are great! Place is very inviting. A lot of parking spaces. My only concern is their comfort room, not clean. That’s why Im giving them 4-stars.

Haven't been to a GC in years and it did not disappoint. Steak is juicy and cooked just right. Very good variety of just everything. Clam clowder, fried chicken, nacho and taco bar. Wish we had one closer to home.

It was pleasantly busy during lunch, and our kids enjoyed the huge selection of entrees, sides, and desserts. I haven't been to this kind of place in awhile and I was concerned about it being bland, or the picky eaters not finding anything they liked. But they really had a little of everything, and nothing we tried was bad. Also the wait staff were super sweet to the kids, and made sure we had everything we could need.

Nice classic buffet layout? Staff was very inviting and pleasant personalities. Our waitress was very attentive. They had a decent variety of various dishes. Being by the ocean I expected a better seafood variety than what was presented. Battered shrimp and like three styles off fish. The shrimp had the tails left on and battered so be careful when eating the battered shrimp. The steak though was excellent very nice and tender. The other available courses where all very tasty. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Wow! The dinner prices are absolutely outrageous! I paid about $20 just for myself. I only ordered a buffet with Coke. I love the food at Golden Corral; always have since I was a child, but the enjotment goes away when the prices are just so high. The facility was clean and the service was exceptional, however. I love the variety of food they offer. Would I come back? Sure, but not for dinner. Lunch perhaps.

Lunch was good. Chicken fried steak was a bit small but understandable for the buffet experience. We were really looking forward to the steak but found out steak is served for dinner after 4pm. Other than that the experience was great with the company I had to share the experience with!!

Not super busy when we arrived. The young man at the register was doing a great job of multi tasking with the customers and other duties. Good selection of salads, entries and sides. Plenty of desert options. Our server Tiffany was awesome, rarely saw her standing still. She was always keeping an eye on her tables.

I went to Golden Corral recently, and overall, it’s a solid buffet option. The food selection is great—so many choices, and the prices are really reasonable. The service is decent for a buffet, nothing too special, but just fine. My main issue was with the meat—what they called steak was more like a meatloaf—same kind of ground meat used for burgers. After eating, I felt pretty bloated, so while I appreciate the variety and the value, I’d say it’s more of a 3.5 for me.

It's pretty inexpensive for an $18 buffet. That's only a little more than a Wendy's combo. The food is okay, with some passable, some poor, and some decent. Fried chicken was super salty. Salad bar not the freshest but good variety. Clan chowder surprisingly not pure water. I haven't been here in years and heard it was recently renovated. Unfortunately no new items. Some Asian dishes are gone. Chocolate fountain gone. The soft serve is still there at least. And there's a new icee machine with several flavors. Service was attentive.

The waitresses were huddled up, talking, not checking on the customers. One had an air pod in, talking on the phone. If this is the type of service that you all provide, you don't have to worry about us coming back. The staff always states people dont tip, well with this kind of service they dont deserve a tip. This is the definition of sub-par service. My advice is don't wait until a person gets loud to try and put your best effort forward, do that from the time they sit down. Thank you!

This is the worst quality food eaten by the worst quality people who are so used to being mistreated by life that they find the subpar service to be a kindness. Is the food tasteless? Burned? Undercooked? Yes, to all of them. It's just awful but it definitely helps you maintain the caloric intake needed to maintain that 40+ BMI

The breakfast is very harmful to your health, the bacon is overly salted to the point that it made your tongue burn just from tasting a piece. The ham is just boiled and cold, without that crunchy touch of a good leg pork and seasoning. In the end, I didn't eat anything that characterizes a good breakfast in the usa. I only ate salad and some pancakes.

I was celebrating my 50 th birthday and the server was rude. I accidentally dropped food on the floor and server asked me to pick it up imedatly. I was going to pick it up before I left. But.. I guess it was his job to embarrass me on my birthday in front of a room full of people. It's not like I turn 50 every day. Thanks to Golden Corral my birthday was ruined! Just think I was excited to come here for my birthday I had been waiting for 3 months. Thanks for the worst 50th birthday ever!

Everything had sat out so long it was cold or looked like it had been ran over. It was absolutely disgusting. You would think with a thousand options something would have been edible. WRONG! Asked for a water twice and was brought a soda both times.
