This is one of the best Thai restaurants to visit if you live around Gardena. I’ve ordered their house special fried rice to go several times—it’s really good, although the portion size feels a bit small compared to the container. Still, I definitely plan to go back. On my most recent visit, I ordered two house special fried rice (medium spicy) to go. However, both were made with no spice at all. When I called the restaurant, they asked me to bring one portion back so they could check it. I drove all the way there, only to be asked where the other fried rice was—I hadn’t brought it because they specifically told me to bring just one. In the end, they replaced only one order with the correct spice level instead of both. So, if you’re placing a takeout order, make sure to double-check your food before leaving. Otherwise, you might have to go back to fix the order.

Had a nice dinner here at Bowl Thai. You order your food upfront like Rubio’s, and they bring your food to your table. We had their crab fried rice, the texture and seasoning was good it wasn’t dry. We also enjoyed the shrimp pad thai, and they were very generous with the shrimp. Will definitely be back to try other delicious dishes.

Was craving Thai food and was on our from LA to Orange County. Found this place to have excellent reviews on google. We ordered pad Thai , basil chicken and shrimp fried rice. The food tasted extra ordinary. Haven’t had such amazing food in a long time , that not only tasted exceptional but looked great as well. The service was awesome as well and so was the ambiance. Would definitely recommend.

Newly opened, with limited menu. Good food as expected from Bowl Thai. Nice, clean simple decor. The chicken bowl as pictured was very good. The chicken was cooked well with a little char to add to the grilled taste. The marinade was was a light and delicate flavor not over powerful with additional dipping sauce provided. The sticky rice was speckled with purple rice and perfectly complemented the chicken with it's chewy texture. The papaya salad, fabulously contrasted the chicken with it's crunchy texture with a slight peppery hotness. Looking forward to trying the new items the next time. Worth checking out. Been awhile since I have been to this gem! Larger selection off the grill and still great down home taste!

First time there today and it didn't disappoint!! Very good and friendly service. Clean restaurant and good seatings in and outside. We ordered Grilled Chicken with Papaya Salad, Grilled Pork with Spicy & Sour Tamarind Dip, and Larb Pla (Fried Tilapia Fillets topped with some lemongrass, greens and Thai herbs lightly dressed with spicy, tangy and a little sweet dressing). This Larb Pla is a million times soooooooo sooo good!!!!! Must try!!!

Food is so delicious! Every time when I eat here it tastes like my first time, always awesome. Cashiers are friendly and your order is done really quick, you don’t need to wait long. Interior is simple but clean and tidy. I recommend this place if you want delicious food, nice service and really good experience of Thai food

I was too hungry to even take pictures, first time eating here after I googled food near me. It sounded good so I gave it a try. It's a nice place, casual, the food was fantastic I had the chicken satay with the green papaya salad and sticky rice. A great portion of chicken, I wished they either gave more rice or more salad. Did not disappoint. Plus the peanut sauce with the chicken 👌. The salad was refreshing. I will go again.

Their chicken fried rice was unbelievably good! They give you large portions for the price, and the overall taste of the fried rice was amazing. Definitely a must try if you're looking to eat at a Thai restaurant.

Don’t even think twice, just come. It’s delicious, portions are big and filling, flavored to perfection and fall off the bone. But always check the time cause they close between lunch and dinner!

Nice place, casual dining. Staff and servers were very nice. We have liked Thai food for a long time, our go to item is Satay Beef. The last few years, a lot of Thai places have removed it from the menu. Bowl Thai Grill has one of the best Satay Beef plates that we have every tried and are so happy to be able to go and eat our favorites. Thank you for such a great experience, we will be back.

The employee gave me an accurate pickup time, and everything was ready as promised—smooth experience overall. Ambiance: When you walk in, it feels like a fast-casual Thai spot. You order at the counter first, then find a seat. The space is clean, though the lighting is very cool-toned; I prefer warmer lighting if I’m going to dine in. Food: Pineapple curry fried rice (3.5/5): Good flavor with chunks of pineapple and chicken. Generous portion size. Chicken satay (3.5/5): Flavor was okay, a little on the dry side, and they provided more dipping sauces than necessary. Beef pad see eew (3.5/5): Tasty overall, but better suited for dining in—the rice noodles stuck together and broke apart by the time I got home. Overall: Flavors were decent, proportions were fair, and service was efficient. Still, nothing really drew me in to come back regularly.

This was our first visit and we were excited to try it. When we asked for menu suggestions, the cashier seemed rushed and a bit impatient. We were also told no alternatives could be accommodated. Hoping this was just an off day, as first impressions really matter.

Food is decent here, but service for a Sunday lunch was extremely slow, and we and waited for about 30 minutes. Finally our bell rung but they only brought one of the dishes. For the other it was another 10 min wait. It seems they bring out dishs in random order to random tables.

Tabels and chairs as well as the forks and spoons look terribly poor. The floor is ruined. The young, slim, light-haired waitress was very professional- kind, knowledgeable and friendly, and I can say only best about her! Overall, my experience was bad. My Thai place have been the Dragoon Fly on Rolling Hills, for many years, now. However I happened to be in Torrance, and it was already around 8 p.m. and I didn't have enough time to make it to get to the Dragoon Fly, until its closing for the day, so I found this place online according to the reviews. Unfortunately, it seemed like a bad idea.

Found a metal staple/wire in a laab to-go order. My boyfriend bit into it and was bleeding. We contacted the restaurant and were not offered any refund or resolution. Very concerning food safety issue and poor handling of the situation. Will not be back.
