Family friendly, Great service, Good food & cold beers. Fair pricing with Amazing scenery. No wait time. Right off the highway great location. They have a big patio with a bar over looking the lake. We chose to sit in the patio area while 99° at 3pm (TX WEATHER) did not feel hot at all…it was super breezy and cool I’m guessing since it’s so close to the water. There’s a small gift shop if you decide to get a small souvenir. We live like an hour away but I believe we will be back to this location.

Why is everything so oily now? They changed their sauce recipe/thick consistency. The original wings are no longer sauced, it’s like a dry rub/oil. However the staff is Friendly and their buffalo shrimp still taste pretty good even though they use to taste better (because of the change in the sauce). And my crab legs came out brown and cold, had to send them back.

The server was great and the vibe is still nice. I was wondering why it was super dead but now I know. The “original” hot just tastes like either spoiled or burnt butter with a hint of spice. I had no idea they made these changes but I am not a fan of it at all. So sorry hooters, I’ve got to move on.

Was here last Saturday. The entire restaurant was not clean. The entire place smelled like it was just wiped down with a musty rag. Every menu was sticky and gross. The appetizer was fine but our entrees came out cold and the fries tasted like they had been out for hours. I would not return to this location nor would I reccomend this one to anyone.

Food was okayish, my shrimp was overcooked and the wings aren’t really hot . The fries were the best. We came in on a slow night and it’s the worst service we’ve ever had. Our server barely came to the table and our drinks were always empty. We waited 30 minutes for the check while she sat not that far from us watching TikTok’s the whole time. She only came to the table once she saw we started standing up. The service doesn’t match the vibe lol. No reason for such horrible service on a slow night.

We ended up leaving did not enjoy date night food was too greasy when you would bite in to it all you could taste was alot of butter my bf stomach started hurting as he cant tolerate greasy/buttery and this had alot , we just left food and drink there , the drink had too much of a peach flavor couldn’t enjoy it at all . We have gone to other hooters locations and always order the same things and its never been this buttery/greasy to the point where we can’t enjoy it . The price was not worth it.

I want to start this off by saying that my waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive and this review has nothing to do with my experience with the waitress. It has to do with the overall experience of the restaurant. To start off the bathrooms were disgusting and had broken fixtures, air vents covered in dust. There was cobwebs in the ceiling. The food which all we got was wings and fries was terrible. I always order my wings, hot and naked and I guess they switched over to a “butter based” sauce that made it to where they are basically void of all flavor, my buddy got the garlic Parmesan with breaded wings. The breading was incredibly thick, and the seasoning was nonexistent. The french fries were the most bland french fries that I think I’ve ever tried as well as soggy. I don’t know what they have done, but they have ruined this dining experience to top it off when I tried to order carrots and celery with my wings. They don’t even have CARROTS. Also, this was on a Friday night at 6:30 PM and the restaurant had people at only five table tables and there was six people at the bar. I would like to comment on the atmosphere but there’s literally no atmosphere in there. It’s just like a restaurant that is given up.

Definitely would give zeros! I ordered wings online with mild sauce they gave me just plain wings. My husband takes it back to get it remade and my wings tasted disgusting and they gave me what tasted like old oil to pour on my wings. Couldn’t even give me fresh fries after having to bring my food back once. Tried to call multiple times and they do not answer, basically wasted our money since I didn’t even eat it.

We visited Hooters today with the family, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing across the board—poor service, low-quality food, and just an overall lackluster atmosphere. Given that the company filed for bankruptcy this year, it's not hard to see why. Competitors like Bombshells and Twin Peaks are clearly stepping up with better food and more attentive service. Hooters really needs to reevaluate its approach if it wants to stay relevant. A major revamp in both customer service and food quality is long overdue.

Outdoor Life

Been here several times, and every time the outdoor bar area is disgustingly dirty, there’s no way it could pass health inspection. Not only is it dirty, but there are consistently ants crawling all over the bar. Also outdoor tables and seating are dirty as well. Gross. I called and talked to the manager on duty, a female named Shaquila, she would not even acknowledge that even bugs all over the bar top were bad, she actually refused to acknowledge anything, and then she hung up on me in the middle of our convo!! Is this what the management of Hooters wants their managers to do to customers who have a legitimate complaint? Also, there were only 3 customers at the outdoor bar and she would disappear for 15 minutes at a time. No one knew where she was. When I went inside, there were at least five waitresses gathered at a corner vaping and gossiping instead of tending to customers. This is a regular occurrence at this location every time I’ve visited.

I went to the Bass Pro location on last night 9/11/25 and I was not greeted at the door. The hostess came over and seated me after I got her attention. I was seated and their were 2 more parties that was seated after me and they were greeted and seated after me, as I sad there for 20 minutes and was not even recognize. When the hostess bought out the drinks for the other parties and I hadn't been recognized I was highly upset. Another waitress came over after 20 minutes and asked had anyone came over and i stated that I was unhappy and I was leaving. I went to the 3902 Towne Crossing Blvd, Mesquite, TX 75150, location and I had superb service. The waitress was Cameron I believe and the managers name was Chris and both made me want to come back to that location and spend my money.

The beer was hot. I asked for A bucket of ice so I could call my beer and they gave me a glass. It did not help unfortunately I cannot drink anything less than cold beer so I gave it to my husband. Food was decent. The service was good. The place was completely filthy. The restroom was so dirty that I asked for my check so I could go home and use the restroom

If you arrive and you are a woman with a daughter and no MEN with you DO NOT expect good service. We waited and waited and waited to be seated and it was not that full but plenty of waitresses waiting on the men but ignoring us ladies. Finally a lady that was starting her shift walked in and seated us. View of the lake super nice! Waitress sweet but took a while to get to our table. Lots of spider webs in the deck so they really don't upkeep much. So the shorts have changed and they are pretty much running around in a thong. Wings were really good! Fries not good , snow crab amazing.Oh and we weren't even done eating the waitress said you want your check?! And just handed it to me. Wow running us off already not even done eating. Not happy at all :(
