Friendly staff, tried the garlic butter shrimp combo, includes drink, fries, and coleslaw. It was all really flavorful, especially the slaw. Yes I will get it again.

The food was cook hot for us and taste amazing, just the wait was very long. It was 6:30 and they had to cook more chicken just for 8 pieces. But again, the chicken was delicious.

Love churches chicken there hard to beat just good chicken. Be patient in there it's hard to find good folks to work. We live in a fast pace world were our lovely president is giving so much money away so you don't work. Enjoy and stay hungry great folks and tasty chicken.

Service was fast and good. Lady took my order and within minutes I was eating. As a truck driver we live in a timely manner, so it's important to get going. I liked it and will visit next time I am in town, even if I have to walk a couple blocks to get to you guys. :-)

The dining room was dirty and fountain drink station was very dirty too. They shut down dining room because they only had few employees working that day. The drive thru window was open.

Went to the drive thru and first thing the lady tells us is that it would be a "20... no, 30 minute wait" for dark meat. She said they had a few pieces of white meat, some tenders, a little bit of fries... pretty much a lot of what they didn't have, which was just about everything. I ended up ordering a 3 piece with mashed potatoes and an order of 3 honey butter biscuits. Should've known it wouldn't be fresh. I also ordered a strawberry splash drink they had advertised, which was Sprite with strawberry flavoring. Not hard to mess up, right? It had tons of strawberry flavoring and was so sweet that I couldn't drink it (and I like sweet stuff). I tried it twice and again once it watered down with the ice and couldn't drink anymore. Shouldn't have ordered a large. Anyway, bad drink, hard biscuits, dry chicken... what more do I need to say.

2 years ago I gave it a 3. Today a 2 the biscuits were hard the chicken was cold and a different taste. The other family was also complaining. The girl said it was a new batter mix and customers have been complaining. Well at 59 cents a piece we should be told that they are hard. We probably won't eat here anymore

Chicken was okay, had to wait 15 minutes for a large fry? The people turned up their music in the back without regard for the customers and the fried okra was squishy and inedible. I wish we had went ahead and drove the hour to Corpus for dinner. This is our first time trough this little town, we've been to two places and not had good customer service or good food. I don't think we will ever be back.

I stopped here for five-piece I had a coupon. The guy at the counter did not know how to use the coupon. So the manager came and had a hard time finding it. Then she said it would be 15 minutes I said why I see all the chicken there in the back. Right in front of me. She said not for that price. I asked her what's the difference. She said that they only have three pieces of dark and they weren't going to give me two pieces of white because it cost more.

Lobby, was very dirty only 2 tables clean and restrooms needed to be cleaned there was a spill on the floor in the lobby instead of someone cleaning it they just put a wet sign over it . Will not go there again.

I went with my mom and we ordered 2 three piece orders and also a 4 piece tender order and when we got our receipt it said 36 dollars for those 3 things. We didn’t even get coleslaw or mashed p. We just got the biscuits and fries. We didn’t even get a drink with it and it was so expensive. Also this other time we got raw chicken. My dad bit into a drumstick and blood dripped out. We just threw it away. Horrible service also

I placed an order for some gizzards and fries okra. The gizzards had a good brittle crunch that I liked but the flavor was lacking. The okra, I was charged full price for a small order that was way less than what it is supposed to be and wasnt fresh but reheated in the oil. It was tough and extra golden (burnt) and even had a hint of charring. I dodnt not return to complain for fear of having my replacement order tampered with and I had already been on the raod for 8 hrs and had another 3 to go so the me resolve is to just give an appropriate review. Will not stop there again.

It really sucked. I ordered a combo. A three piece meal. I asked for three thighs... But instead they gave me two and a leg. I didn't get a biscuit because they were out. So they gave me some fries instead. And that wasn't even a full order. I was very dissatisfied. I'm talking to the Corporate Office and the manager tomorrow.

They messed up my order TWICE!! I spent a little over $60 and I had to correct them on my order TWICE! I ordered a 20pc dark with 3 sides and a 12pc tender. FIRST, they rung up my order wrong because I didn’t want the biscuits. They rung it up that way anyway. I corrected them, politely mind you, and they give me the side I was missing. I go home thinking I had everything. NOPE!!! They didn’t give me the tenders!🤬🤬 I call them and tell them I don’t have my tenders, I’m still being polite at this point, and they give them to me. I come home to see that the tenders are SMALL AS HELL!! LIKE WHAT?! If I’m gonna pay a lot of money for some chicken, I would like to expect to get some actual decent sized chicken! I’m debating on going back. The worst thing was, THEY WEREN’T EVEN BUSY!!! Get it together churches, very disappointed. On a side note, this is the most troubling thing that I’ve ever experienced since going to that place for food. Still, very disappointing.

Worst Church’s Chicken that I’ve ever visited. I travel for work. Church’s is my road trip food. EVERYONE working there was rude and nasty. ALMOST cancelled my order but I passed another Church’s 30 miles prior and I was starve. DON’T GO THERE. YOU WILL KNOW WHY IF YOU DO.

The chicken was not done and smelled very bad. The okra was the only thing close to eatable. The soda cups has a greasy film in them. I had take out and I was to far down the road to go back.

I was driving home and was so hungry that I stopped to get some chicken and okra. The chicken did not taste good at all. It had pockets of very yellow fat and was dripping with grease.

Ordered the 3pc meal, spicy. Only after I paid was I told that there would be a 17 minute wait for the spicy chicken, no big deal. Waited 30 min. and didn't even get the spicy they gave me original. And on top of that it was the smallest pieces of chicken I'd ever seen, the lady who took the order was polite, so they get a star for that, but the lady who informed me of the wait and brought my food was not very polite at all and the chicken was mostly crust, no meat. I will not be eating here again.

I've been to this location twice now and both times I've been told they are out of just about anything. How do you run out of chicken when you are a restaurant that specializes in chicken? The employees here are rude and definitely aren't too bright. The restaurant it's self was absolutely filthy, tables that hadn't been cleaned in hours and even the trash was so full it was spilling on to the floor. This was my last visit here! Do yourself a favor and choose a different restaurant because this one is just a disgrace!

This is the second time we come through here and have an issue. The first time we came through here it took us a long time to get our order and all of the employees were sitting in the lobby eating. This time there were only two employees and we placed our order and waited almost 25 minutes while other people were coming in with larger orders and getting their orders and leaving. Ed we only ordered a two-piece chicken and a three piece tender and never received it. When I asked for my refund they quickly put the order together and slid it out to me on a tray. I told him I wanted my refund and we left. We love churches Chicken but we will never stop at this store again.

Wow!! I'm so glad I just saw Margaret's review about a roach coming from the ice machine. I'm not from around here, but I was thinking of getting food here about 15 minutes ago from there. I think I will settle for a tv dinner out the grocery store down the street at this point.

Don’t eat here! There was a huge cockroach that came out of the ice machine!!! No telling where all there are roaches crawling around. So disgusting! Glad we didn’t touch the food we ordered. We got a refund. Also the bathroom toilet wasn’t flushing. This restaurant needs to be inspected by the health board inspector.

Took 30 minutes to get a 3 piece meal at the drive thru. I was the only car in the drive thru. Finally when I got my meal, was told that they were out of chicken and were frying more that is why it took so long. The place wasn't busy, and not once was I told why such a long wait time. Customer service is definitely lacking, the worker at the window couldn't have cared less.

The service was great. But the food was just awful. Inedible and expensive. We got an 8pc meal, with a small order of jalapeño poppers, and pickled jalapeños for $35. The chicken was soggy, not crispy at all, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. It tasted like it had been fried in old, rancid oil. The mashed potatoes were decent. We couldn't even finish the chicken, threw it out because it tasted so bad. 0/10
