Really delicious and can’t get healthier.

Service was quick and bowl was very good. I liked the options and substitutions because I’m on a low carb diet. I got the small berry bowl (larger than what I expected) with no banana’s, and requested almonds instead of granola. I don’t know the exact net carbs but it was very tasty.

Going out is a treat for me, so when I wanna treat myself- backyard bowls is where it's at!! Best one is the GOLETA location, because all the bowls are prepared on point- seriously the best. The place is cozy, friendly- even there GREEN STAR coffre is delicious! 5 stars;)

So yummy! They have gluten free granola and allow a lot of modifications and add-ins to their bowls and smoothies. I will definitely be coming back!

This is an awesome place. An amazing store. Awesome people. And their bowls; THE BEST. I love how fresh everything tastes, and the Acai at the bottom. My only complaint is in the price. 10 dollars for a small bowl is expensive, but it is a meal, so I'll take it. I understand that all of the ingredients have to be fresh in the bowl(That is why it tastes SO DANG GOOD) But I wish that there was somehow a cheaper alternative. I support their choice to have high prices, though if the employees are treated well and the bowls are high quality.

I had heard about backyard bowls and thought- oh another new idea. yeah. yeah. but eventually went with a friend. LOVE IT! I go about twice a week now and sample all the bowls. I especially like the Diego power bowl. It's affordable, organic, delicious and the staff is always friendly. It's great to see all the young crowd there. Hope this is the wave of the future...

Large portions, great taste, fair prices. The staff was very friendly and adept at customer service. The interior design was pretty, and allowed me to relax and enjoy an açaí bowl for breakfast.

I think that for acai bowls, Backyard Bowls is bar none. Everything is so fresh and blended perfectly. My favorite is Diego's power bowl. The only complaint I have is the same complain I have of other acai bowl places: it's fairly pricey and not that filling. I feel like I'm paying 8 or 9 dollars for a snack

Good açaí bowls, although they can be somewhat costly, but they always hit the spot. My favorite is the Santa Barbara bowl and the Hercules smoothie.

The bowls are great as always, but the place is sad, not a great/interesting decoration. Just another plain local in a plain mall. You guys should work on that field and make a whole experience for the costumers.

I used to really like this place. The food is great, but the service has unfortunately taken a nose dive. There are not enough staff. It took over 35 minutes to get my order- 1 small berry bowl. (The cashier told the person behind me the est wait was 15-20 mins!) This was not during rush hour. At all. It was 3pm. Only 2 people in front of me in line. Everyone around me has been waiting for ages. Real bummer. Oh, and to top it off.. they got my order WRONG. :/

Honestly what is up with backyard bowls recently? Wait times are insane! Customer service was ok at most. I got here with plenty of time to spare and ended being late to class for 2 smoothie bowls? It doesn’t take 30 minutes for 2 small sized smoothie bowls. Never coming back.

Been waiting 40 minutes for an açaí bowl. After another customer asked why his order was taking so long, they told him that they’re sorry but their blender is broken. Would’ve been nice if they had let customers know that before they put in an order, not after.
