Graeagle Restaurant is a local favorite known for its friendly service and generous portions. Stacy's blue my ty's are a hit, and the pancake sandwich is a popular choice. Some find it pricey for basic food, but many rave about the breakfast.

Tip: It's a popular spot, especially for breakfast, so be prepared for a full house. Great place to walk around the millpond after eating.

The food here used to be top notch they have lost it a little bit still pretty good food. Service from the waitresses is top notch very professional ladies.
I didn't eat here but Stacy makes the best blue my ty's I've had yet. I know that's not how it's spelled, but that's how I'm spelling it 🔥💯🤑😎
Always a great breakfast. Closed for the season as of November 11, 2024. They will reopen in March. But the Knotty Pine tavern next door is still open....
Our party of 4 came in on a very busy morning, the hostess, Daphne, was smiling and very friendly. The cook even came out and asked a clarifying question about our substitute order, and was also smiling and accommodating. The food was delivered quickly and was exceptional! 5 star service and food, highly recommend.
Great family owned restaurant. Dogs are allowed on the patio. My 13 year old son had the breakfast burrito which was delicious and huge, he couldn't finish it. My husband had a huge scramble, daughter had pancakes and I had the special. Service was fast and friendly.
We were camping at Clio RV Park and went looking for a place to have breakfast, we found Graeagle Restaurant and ended up being served by Marcie, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and they killed it, food was great! Marcie was great! we went back the next morning and same, same, all was great thank you, see you in the spring!
I love this little restaurant! We've been going there for as long as I can remember. Excellent food and service! And super delicious bacon too!
Host and server were very nice. Took orders for our entire group and allowed all of us to pay separately without fuss. Appreciate that
Great food and service. Definitely a local vibe. We were there for 4th of July weekend, so it was very busy.
We had a great no-frills lunch here on a rainy afternoon. Food was tasty and as described, and came out quick for how busy it was. Outstanding service. Local wine and beer available. We’ll be back!
Excellent. This place was busy, but we still were taken care of pretty quickly. The chicken fried steak was delicious. A great place to eat
Great local restaurant with variety of food. Friendly and quick service
Funny enough I stumbled upon this place on a motorcycle trip where I wanted to use the bathrooms at the closed gas station next door, so checked this place out. Not wanting to use the facilities without buying anything, just got a soda, but the staff was friendly and the food smelled good. It was only mid morning, so if it were later I would have had lunch. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely make this a destination.
This is the place I always come for breakfast when I'm here. Consistently good across the board! The food and service are great! I normally come here with a group, but this time I was solo. I was seated right away and attended to quickly I ordered a Scramble with a pancake on the side. The food arrived so quick! It was really shocking. It's not like the place was empty either. This was on the weekend. Both my dishes were great! The prices here are also very reasonable and portions are generous. So great value for your money. Something that is getting harder to find.
Loved it. Amazing food, excellent service. The restaurant is located on one of the most beautiful lakes in California. And well worth the trip.
We got married at Twenty Mile House this past July, and visited Graeagle for their wedding fair in April. In total, we probably ate here about 5 times and have nothing but great things to say. It has a very local feel and you feel like family, even just having gone there once. Their food is great, plenty of seating, outdoor space is nice. We had large groups and small and they were always more than accommodating. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Graeagle!

Great food. Large quantity and friendly service. Probably the best we have had since moving out here.
The pancake sandwich is a favorite of my son. The sausage patties are from the meat counter at the Graeagle General Store. I even bought a whole blackberry pie and an Apple pie slice and strawberry rhubarb slice. So good!
Experiences vary, but for our visit it’s a great stop. A relaxing place, the community inviting. The eats were yummy! After eating walk around the millpond.
Warm environment, the staff were friendly and helpful with food allergies. Sadly we're only in the area once a year but we will visit again. The food is great and at a really good price for the serving size!
Loved this spot! Great little town in the Sierras, small town charm. Owner was the waitress, she's been there for over 40 yrs? Solid breakfast, go there with confidence!
Definitely a locals spot, really good breakfast! Seated right away despite being a full house.. host was super friendly and welcoming. The fried steak burrito was amazing 🔥
Had a last minute reservation last Saturday. Staff was super accommodating and service was great. Lasagna is one of the best I’ve had.

Good solid breakfast. Great staff
Super friendly staff with good service. Big space. Sat down without any wait time on a Saturday morning. They didn't allow us to join tables for a group of ~10. They did help us split the check in the small table groups. Food was decent - got the job done. However it was very expensive for what you got. We spent $60 for 2 people for 2 plates of egg dishes and a cinnamon roll, coffee, tea. You can walk around the small town or see the lake afterwards.
Ate here for the first time and it was very good. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was very good. Their Orange Juice was really good. It can get busy there so just be ready to wait a little. But we will definitely eat here again when we come back.
The food was good. Small Town atmosphere. Our waitress wasn't very friendly. Wasn't rude but was obviously more friendly to those that live near by and come in often. Tourist are just as important.
Remodeled in 2014, it's a great place for breakfast and lunch -- dinners too, but not as much atmosphere for dinner as we like. Food is really good! Try their homemade meatloaf sandwich, eggs Benedict, hamburgers . . . They're all tasty. And the desserts sound fabulous -- just not on our diets.
Breakfast was really good...Bacon Avocado Scramble. The coffee wasn't as good as I had hoped. Service was good too. Very clean.. Good spot for breakfast. No experience for lunch, but if it's like breakfast, you will be happy.
Summer time here is great! Plenty of outdoor seating, and a beautiful grass park next door if you have a big group. Graeagle is a wonderful small mountain town with lots of activities and this is a perfect stop to get a good meal to feed that appetite.
Probably one of the best eggs Benedict I've ever had! Now the service and attitude of the waitresses are less than to be desired. They were rather rude and not very accommodating but the food was good.
A breakfast joint that allows dogs to sit outside with their owners. Dog friendly. The food is good, but breakfast is hard to do bad in the first place.
Great local spot for breakfast and lunch. They’re open from 7 AM to 2 PM every day - same hours for the Knotty Pine Tavern next-door.
Had pancakes and they were decently good. Very fun American diner vibe. Nice people. Pretty busy place.
Good food and awesome service, the Biscuits and Gravy are spicy and delicious. A little pricier, but the coffee refills are free 👌

Service oddly swings from genuinely warm to a bit gruff, depending on the visit. Food is good but expensive as you'd expect in a mountain tourist town.
If you are looking for a place to eat while in Grayeagle this is a good stop. I had the cheeseburger and fries and they were delicious. The burger was cooked just right and it was a really big portion. I had take out so I can vouch for the sit in service. It did take a while for the waitress to notice me at the counter but once I ordered the wait was short and they packed everything I needed for my takeout.
We had breakfast, I had Bacon / Avocado Omelet. It was fluffy, just perfect. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pancakes, ham & eggs. Our waitress was very efficient!!
Only stopped for a coffee. Fascinating place with various items relating to the local Native Americans. Although foreigners from Britain we felt welcomed and looked after.

This town is amazing. This restaurant needs some kitchen love. The food was edible but not great. I ordered a hamburger which comes on French rolls which was okay. The meat was very dry and very, very, bland. The lettuce was taco shredded and fell all over when I tried to eat it. Same with the tomatoes. There was no salt on the French fries but they were cooked well in very clean oil. The FF themselves were good quality. Everything is there for greatness they are missing some personality in their food. A homemade "Burger" sauce, some seasonings and less time on the grill and I could have overlooked the rest of my burger. The service was great and the place was clean. My son and hubby had the tacos. Which they said we're good but bland and hard to eat. You have to double up on corn tortillas or they fall apart. The portions were good sized and the prices are reasonable. .
I ordered the Chile burger. I did not expect it to be served open faced with the burger placed between the bun. Some of the Chile beans were under cooked. My wife ordered a wrap and said it was mostly lettuce. Each dish was $15.00 plus our drinks. Overall, the waitress was friendly and prompt and we will give the place another go, but we won't order the same meals.

Cute restaurant but very basic food with few healthy options. We were there for breakfast so may be better for lunch/dinner. What you would expect from a small rural restaurant (Waffle House like). If that’s your jam then you will love it. Service was super fast but not particularly friendly. Enjoyed it but likely won’t go back.

Not very impressed. Both waitresses were very nice and pretty attentive. My kids enjoyed their burgers and chicken strips. My French dip was bland, had no horseradish (or any sauce for that matter). Literally just slapped some dry roast beef into some bread. Au jus was meh. My salad was good. My son got soup and it was full of chicken bones. He was scared to eat it half way through after several bones. For the very expensive ticket ($100) I would expect the food to be better. Disappointed to say the least.
The staff were friendly. Sitting by heater was a bit warm. The ingredients seemed out of a bag. I got the graeagle burger; it had shredded ice berg lettuce, my tomato was withered on a dry boogie bun. French fries were bland. The bbq burger had too much bbq sauce. There is a check out fee to the bill.

My family and I stopped on our way back from camping at Gold Lake. Cute small town diner. I ordered a breakfast burrito, my wife got a pancake sandwich, and my daughter got a blueberry pancake. Everything was great, until I got home and realized later that evening that I'd gotten food poisoning, which I hadn't ordered or wanted. So 1-star.
Under cooked very expensive food served by completely indifferent servers in a cold & breezy environment.
Wish we were able to enjoy a meal here. The food looked delicious. The customer service could use some improvement though. I walked out and ended up enjoying lunch somewhere else. We felt more like a burden than paying customers.
