Regarding ordering a photo cake. Tried ordering a couple of birthday cakes. The first cake ordered, the lady was rough to work with. When I went to pick it up it took about 10 minutes to find it. We got it and it was exactly what we ordered. The lady did a great job! Then a couple of days later I ordered another cake. They told me to email the picture. I did, I called to make sure they had it. They did not. I tried again, I had the wrong email address(my fault). I emailed to the right address and called to make sure they got it. The lady said she would talk to the cake decorator and would call me back. I waited two days no call. Called them and left a VM and said I have only a couple of days left to ensure I had a cake for the birthday party I would need confirmation by noon or Id have to go elsewhere. NO call ever. what a total disappointment. I have been going to this store since the 80's but had I messed around with these folks anymore my child may not probably would not have a birthday cake for her party. I had to go to the North Olmsted store.

this place is absolutely terrible. i feel like im in the 7 circles of hell EVERY-TIME IM HERE. the employees here could care absolutely less about paying any attention to you. they will look you dead…

Had too much buissnes. Took too long to even get my food. Bad buissnes, would never recommend

waited 45 minutes for ice cream after a mobile order , the ice cream was placed in the freezer and given to us freezer burnt

Family came in today for lunch. They ordered some burgers and hotdogs and fries. Order was given to them wrong, got curds and fries instead. Waited 30 minutes was told burgers were being remade. They were NOT remade. Grandmother tried to get a refund and was told even tho they messed up, and then lied, we are responsible for the curds we ate that was given to us. No refund. Out of courtesy, those should have been given for free for being their mistake and making a family wait 40minutes for food they never recieved. The lady was extremely rude, kept talking over everyone with an attitude like the food we paid for inconvenienced her. After wasting 22 dollars ended up at McDonald's bc everyone still hadn't eaten. Was it that hard to remake an order and say I'm sorry for the mix up? Instead they blamed us for their mistake and refused to fix it? Lame and a waste of time and money. At best this location runs like crap and your manager needs retrained on basic customer service. Was planning on getting gift cards for the holidays but we will not be back. Can't believe this is how you treat families and older members of the community. Fail

I just left there and ordered extra oreo in my blizzard just to find like maybe one crunched up cookie in it. I paid for extra and pretty much got no cookie in the blizzard and I haven't been there in a while and now I remember why. Waste of my money will not return to that location again.

Dairy Queen in Elryia, Ohio is owned by the same in Avon Lake, Ohio. I would recommend everyone if you like Dairy Queen go to the Avon Lake store. As a senior citizen I went in ordered food fries and blizzard, prices high food and drink shrunk for 8.00 Second, sat on a place where I was away from others. Only 5 people total. Young people moved across from other side and moved by me, kept staring made me feel uncomfortable. They had no food. Then they got up and went back across the restaurant. I let the Young lady washing tables I felt uncomfortable. The young people sitting there asked to clean their table. They continue to laugh and stare over and I finally said hello and laugh back. The girl cleaning the table went to them and told them what I had said. I went up and told her why did you say something to escalate the situation. Went to the counter let the manager know. She spoke to the two young people who was apparently with an adult. Why were they going from place to place sitting? The manager never came back to talk to me. Young people have no respect for senior. I did call the Avon Lake store explain everything about what occurred. She said she was the manager and let the store owner know! Took down my information and might receive a call. Highly doubt it. People are becoming more uncomfortable and aware because of surrounding.

Incompetent cashier. I pointed to the item on the menu and told her what I wanted twice. Refused to listen and rang up my order wrong. Went on break right after ringing me up maybe she was too excited to go. Worker needs better training. The food was meh. Not a lot of flavor and frankly the burger patty tasted burnt. Will not be coming back.

Absolutely the worst dariy queen. The incompetent workers need to be fired. I got my blizzard no problem, but i had to ask for my food after waiting 10 minutes. I never received my drink. I'd advise everyone not to go to this location

The service has gone down hill. This is the fudge topping I paid for. Kind of funny, but sub par. I love this place and hope they get the wait times decreased and service improved soon.

My wife and I get DQ a couple times a month for ice cream. The quality of the service and product has declined over the past few months. Last week we both got a sundae in the inside and noticed that 4 people got their order that was in line behind us. No big deal, so my wife politely asked about our order. The young lady gave her an attitude and rudely asked what she ordered. She seemed annoyed by this and in a rush poured the ice cream crooked so it was nearly falling over the edge. She also put way too much chocolate syrup on it. We asked for lids and she threw them on the counter at us. We didn’t want to make a scene so we just left. Tonight we ordered a banana split and a sundae. We pull in the parking lot to eat. The whip cream on the sundae was completely dissolved and the ice cream was half melted. The banana split had the pineapple and strawberry thrown on in a way that it was dripping off the side even with the lid on. The ice cream was 50% melted. I love DQ ice cream but unless Elyria DQ gets better we will go to Avon Lake in the future.
