Excellent service and their food is perfect. Other franchise locations don't hold a candle to this spot, the bread rolls are puffed up like they should be, the brisket is juicy, and the okra is just right with it's saltiness. Favorite local BBQ spot!
Had the sweetest, nicest experience tonight with Carrier Pkwy, Grand Prairie Spring Creek employees! I would give 10 🌟 STARS! I went by at last minute to get some sliced brisket....about 30 minutes before closing....the employees were mopping, sweeping, etc... a young lady zoomed out of the back room to help me at the TO-GO Counter (she made it before I got there & I had a head start)... everyone was working hard..... my food was ready in less than 2 minutes, and in that less than 2 minutes, another employee asked if he could give me a pecan pie! Plus I should mention, the young lady offered me a drink while I waited! I love, love, love Spring Creek food but the people at this store are just the best....all smiles, friendly, and genuinely nice!!!! Thanks to the wonderful staff! You made my night.
Daughter and I just had dinner here we really enjoyed our visit most of the staff was very nice and friendly Food was good better than the 1 on cooper in Arlington manager was very nice too.
BBQ was great, wife said out of all the place we have been out to eat, this was the best!
I got a baked potato all the way. It was big and delicious 😋.
Outstanding service outstanding food great atmosphere.
This is my 1st time at this location and the staff was soooo super nice, attentive and kind, Plus very patient with me as i had a large order request. I did get the Red head lady's name but she's amazing as well as Bruce who assisted me to the car with my order. Thanks for being an awesome team...the food was just as good as the staff was.
Great food excellent customer service. The brisket was so tender and delicious the ribs had a good smoke flavor taste I had the pepper sausage which was a little spicy the hot dinner rolls with butter was good. The extra large slice of pecan pie was buttery and delicious. If you’re in the mood for barbecue please try them out. I hope your experience will be as great as mine was.
My family and I came here on Father's Day. As first time customers there was no wait we went through the line ordered our food and everything was great!!! Food was hot, fresh, and good! Peach cobbler...Oh...em gee so tasty😋. The only complaint would be the customer service of the young guys serving the meat selections. It was our first time there and they weren't very helpful. I had to prob and ask them what to do and fumble my way through the ordering process rather them.offering a bit more assistance. Other than that great experience.
Had an amazing experience here today. My family gathered today for our March birthday celebrations. I called on Monday and spoke with Bruce to reserve the space and he was very nice and accommodating. When I arrived today I was greeted by the general manager and my family was very well taken care of. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. I will definitely come again and encourage others. Amazing job Spring Creek.
Oh. My. Goodness! This is amazing! I came in and almost left because it was a serving line style. But I gave it a try. And I’m so glad I did! The servers were amazingly nice and cheerful. The cashier, super nice. Sat down to a nice clean table and my food vanished! I’m kind of picky but this was too good. Is that a thing? Too good? Yes! While we were eating, a server came around and offered us free FRESH HOT BREAD! And as we finished, another server came around with free delicious vanilla ice cream! THANK YOU! This place is well worth the try.
It’s decent barbecue for the price!
This bbq place has maybe the best bbq sauce I ever tasted. Their smoked ribs dipped in that were excellent. Brisket really good too. Good seasoning and mix of meat and fat. Really nice atmosphere inside as well. Take your family there. Will have a great time
My husband and I went for ribs last night and truly had the most pleasurable experience ever at Spring Creek. We go here once a month but tonight was exceptionally good! We’re were warmly greeted, enjoyed a generous serving of delicious ribs as well as sides that didn’t disappoint! We were offered piping hot rolls twice. The staff was friendly, seem happy to be there and us dining in! Please support this restaurant and sign up for their rewards program!
It's not just an ordinary BBQ chain. They set the tone for one to enjoy a meal there. Even if I take out, the quality and quantity is good.
Space was very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful & the food was hot fresh and delicious!
This was our first visit to this location and it was very pleasant. We were greeted and every effort was made to accommodate our requests. My husband and I ordered the Monthly Special which was the Pulled Pork Sandwich, two sides and a drink. The meal was reasonable and very good! After the meal, we were able to get a free ice cream cone which made this visit even sweeter! We will be back for sure!
Seriously AMAZING food, amazing flavor, amazing service! As busy as it was for dinner they keep the food fresh and flowing and it's still SUPER CLEAN! On top of all that the manager Cesar Maceda was incredible! He was literally EVERYWHERE doing every single thing behind the counter, serving customers, taking orders, helping in the dining area, communicating with his team and leading them. It was truly a one of a kind experience, kudos to Cesar and his incredible team. 10 out of 10 would recommend to ANYONE! Thank you all for an amazing first experience, will absolutely come back whenever in the area!
1st time I’ve ever been here in the 6 years I’ve lived in TX. The food was wonderful and they give you so much. Loved the girl walking around with fresh, hot rolls too. We took home a slice of coconut pie and some banana pudding and both were delicious too! Everything was good and we enjoyed ourselves! A little expensive for 2 people but enough food to take home for leftovers. PS: it’s not listed below for recommendations, but the chicken and ham were perfectly cooked and both were moist and tender.
Big shoutout to Jayden!! From the hour I was here with my family he was nonstop cleaning, ensuring the place was kept up and tables were cleared and ready for the next guest. Way to go Jayden. Keep it up!
Greatest food I’ve had in a long time, even the young man at the register with the glasses was so nice to me
Spring creek in Grand Prairie on Carrier Pkwy consistently gives outstanding service and great food!! They don’t keep you waiting for a round of fresh rolls either. You can’t go wrong with either of their selections of meats. Our personal favorites are the ribs and chicken! The employees always have a great attitude and are willing to help. Kudos to the team at this location!
My first time there amazing bake potatoe and ribs with also great customer service from the manager Ozzy (cool name🎸)
Today, I picked up dinner at Spring Creek BBQ 4108 South Carrier Grand Prairie,Texas 75052 The food was delicious! A the customer service I received from Jean with A SMILE, Was great 👍
I have been to many of the Spring Creek locations. They are all great! We had ribs and brisket tonight. Excellent!
Spring Creek Barbecue represents the taste of Texas. I ordered enough food to make the return trip home to share with my husband. Comparing the meal that flew from Dallas to DC to the BBQ eat joints in DC, my husband's tastebuds did a happy dance around the ribs, sausages, brisket, and baked beans! Great BBQ! This restaurant was decorated for Christmas, which made my dinner with my sister festive and joyful. Spring Creek is a family restaurant. If I lived in Dallas, I would eat here every week.
Spring Creek is very consistent. Their smoked brisket is very good.
I can’t really speak on the atmosphere because I ordered delivery online and the food was pretty good. I enjoyed the cracked pepper sausage and the tender brisket. Now what had me was the immaculate customer service! They were so polite and understanding! They immediately came up with a solution to my problem and for that I am forever grateful. I have never seen an establishment go above and beyond for their customers. I have never experienced so many team members be so empathetic and attentive. That alone will have me returning.
Fantastic BBQ. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of Coleslaw and a side of mac and cheese. Service was excellent. Sweet Tea was outstanding. The Mac was ok. But the coleslaw was good. The pulled pork was excellent 👌🏽
Walked in to pick up a DD delivery for a customer and the young lady (wish I could remember her name because she is going places!) put everything in the bag and I confirmed the order on my app and as I was ready to leave..., She said, "let me get the door for you".. Lol; needless to say I was taken aback by this exceptional customer service move! Was NOT expecting that at all. I highly recommend this place because management is obviously training their employees correctly. Just imagine how great the customer service will be when you eat there! Enjoy!
The service at the Grand Prairie location was amazing, the young lady at the to go counter had great customer service and opened the door for me as I left with my order. You don’t see that nowadays especially in the youth. I don’t remember her exact name but I know it started with an S. God bless!
Hot rolls are good. No longer all you can eat on sides. Now you are limited to two sides. Corn on the cob is bland, wouldn't recommend. Green beans are good.
The customer service was great. When I ordered my food i couldn't make up my mind the young lady was very patient with me. When I walked in to pick my food up everyone was very welcoming. The food was good but the customer service was top notch
I came to Spring Creek to have dinner with my family and I would like to shoutout Jayden!! He is a huge part of the cleanliness and up keep at this location! His attention to detail and fast clean up definitely do not go unnoticed. Great Job Jayden! I wish I could leave you 10 starts!!
We came to Spring Creek this afternoon for my mom's birthday since she requested ribs and knew there was a special before 2pm. Right when we walked in, we were greeted by the staff & assisted in a very welcoming & kind manner. Even when my mom budged for a senior discount (which they don't offer but that's okay, lol) the employee was very polite. The food was amazing, had great flavor, and was fresh. The staff even offered us fresh bread multiple times and helped us each time we came to the checkout area for something. We will be returning based on the great experience!
Visiting the area and found this location about 3 minutes from my hotel. People and staff were very friendly. Not a very long wait in line. Cafeteria style ordering going through the line ordering your meats and sides. Best part about the whole experience was the unlimited dinner rolls. They were absolutely awesome probably could have made a meal out of just those they were really really good. To me plate brisket and sausage was good with the sides. Plenty of seating throughout the building. Definitely recommend if you're in the area to stop in and give it a try for lunch or for dinner. I don't think you'll be disappointed
The food is great as usual. The prices have gone up, but the portions seem to have gotten smaller. The bread is usually why I go there. I love it, but they were only doing a tray at a time when the restaurant was pretty busy in a Sunday evening. I got a really bad roll with my initial order, and only one roll the whole time I was there! I like the food, but it's getting too expensive. The whole bread thing was supper disappointing!
The brisket was excellent; the baked potato was good. The tea was too sweet; when I went to get a refill they were out of both (sweet/unsweetened). It was a 15 minute or more delay to get a refill. Finally, I was able to serve myself and mix the perfect blend of sweet and unsweetened tea. The lemons were plentiful.
I order two meat meal with brisket combination and ribs, sides of pinto beans and slaw. The brisket was moist, tender and flavorful. The ribs had a few that were a little dry for my liking but still good tasting. The other ribs were bigger and thicker so more juicy. Beans and slaw were good. Customer service was excellent. Staff answered questions when asked. Decided to get the peach cobbler and ice cream to go after meal, this was excellent. Would stop again when in the area.
Food was pretty good. Alot of kids work there, so there was too much playing going on. There were tables not cleared with plates and cups still sitting there 15 minutes after the guess that were sitting there left. But under than that it was ok. Note, no one was rude or anything.
Food was good. Typical Texas Barbecue. Service was fast and tea refills are free.
The peach cobbler was burnt and ruined the good taste it normally has. The rolls are not as good as they used to be. The ones making the rolls don't make them as often or come out as often like they used to, to serve you more.
I love the loaded baked potatoes at Spring Creek, and my son enjoys the fresh, hot, unlimited rolls. This restaurant is located in the middle of both movie theaters. They also have great coupons for buy one get one free meals. Pay attention to your coupons in the mail. Had my favorite today. The loaded baked potato and enjoyed the holiday decorations.
Memories of college when I was going to UTA and going to the location on Cooper Street. Love the special sauce. The rolls are great as well.
Good food. Good friendly service. Have eaten at a SCBBQ twice. Satisfactory experience both times. Meat was very good, but not exceptionally outstanding. You have unlimited refills on their side items. That I like! These were tasty, but again not your grandmother's homemade cooking. Prices were reasonable and the portions were large. Hard to get a five star rating in the competitive land of Texas BBQ.
We were craving BBQ, and Spring Creek was the closest BBQ place. We have never been here before and like trying new places. It was a Friday night around 7 p.m., and the place was practically empty, usually not a good sign. The atmosphere is very inviting. The servers seemed very disinterested in work, as if we were bothering them coming in to eat. Not all the staff was that way. The lady making the rolls was super friendly and had a great attitude. All the meats were very good, tender, and tasted great. The beans were ok and we were told the potato salad had no onions in it and found out it actually did. Overall the BBQ itself was good and I'd recommend a visit to Spring BBQ.
Super juicy and tender ribs. Best deal if you have a voucher for a buy one get one free ribs dinner. Loved their pickle options and unlimited hot buttered bread. Kids loved their sweet corn and macaroni and cheese. Enjoyed the customer service. Minus one star for a not so clean men restroom and no paper towel.
Passing through town and took a recommendation from a local. Restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was fine for a barbecue joint. My brisket sandwich was so fatty I could not eat it, however my French fries were pretty tasty. My wife and daughter both got chopped beef, one was okay and the other was not nearby as good. My other daughter got the ribs and said they were pretty good. Overall it was underwhelming and a little spendy.
Atmosphere was fine. Food quality has seriously deteriorated.
Services good food could be better it's always starting to get expensive now and they want to upchard you for everything
I literally I’m stilling waiting for my order and not much communication. I just spent over $1,500 on a catering order, never once was offered a free drink as I wait. I received a disturbing call on Wednesday from a rude man asking if I really did place an order and what time, and what location. It was more like an interrogation versus confirming my order. He asked if I was serious about me picking up my order and again, if I knew where I ordered it from. I asked if he treated all clients that cater this way and if there was an issue with my order. He said the only was him having to confirm my order. I told I had my receipt and that I would be bringing it just in case of an issue came up and he asked that I do that.
Stopped here yesterday and the food was…okay. The smoked turkey and potato salad were good but that was about it. The brisket and the pulled pork just fell flat. Green beans were a little weird tasting? The one nice thing you can say was that the meal wasn’t expensive and the staff was very patient and nice. Also: they have Trump posters inside the restaurant. I like to support business that give me a nice dining experience without their politics in my face.
Went for dinner since we were staying at the hotel next door. Walked in and was originally being helped by a very nice young man. In the middle of helping us the GM, Caesar (got his name from one of the employees), walks up and berates the poor guy saying “how long have you worked here? And you let us run out of sausage? How could you let us run out of sausage.” Kid looked so defeated and just walks to the back without saying a word. Then Caesar proceeds to ask us again what we are having and serves our plates. Presentation was quite sloppy and half my sauce was spilled on the plate. Seeing the way he treated that young man really left a bad taste in my mouth so it was hard to enjoy my meal. The brisket was tender and had a decent flavor profile. Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft just with bigger noodles. Definitely not homemade. None of the sides were anything to write home about. The bread was honestly the best part of the meal. Hope the GM realizes that as the general manager it’s HIS job to know what’s going on in every part of the restaurant. It’s HIS fault they ran out of sausages and baked potatoes, not the poor kid who makes $10/hr. You don’t correct your employees in front of your customers. You address those things in the back out of ear shot and view of the customers. Absolutely poor management skills on his part. Do better Caesar.
Rib plate was good and you can’t go wrong with the monthly Duncanville Value Pack coupon ( buy 1 rib plate get one free) they also give the options to get any meat other than the ribs. However the macaroni and green beans were not very flavorful. Potato salad and corn on the cob were great. We will be back next month. Our meal was $22.50 with 2 rib plates and one soda, one water.
The food was very good, but at first I bought an order of fries for my son, I grabbed chicken for him which was immediately given to me in the hall. I grabbed for my meat and sausage, I finished eating, my son also (only the chicken) and they never brought the fries to the table. When I complained to the manager for being late he apologized and promised to bring my son's fries. Another 15 minutes passed and he didn't bring the fries. I returned to complain and there they brought me the french fries. After too long.
Well it was clean. The food was not worth $20 for chopped beef and 2 sides. The BBQ was lukewarm. The mac and cheese was somehow off. Added lots of pepper to make it decent. The bread was good. I kept hoping a bread person would show up with some bread, but nope. It seems like all chain BBQ joints are losing that something that made then good.
I went in to pick up my online order today. The food was okay but not the usual meaty, tender ribs they normally serve. The ribs were skimpy and small and the baked potato was under cooked. To my surprise, once I arrived home and open the bag, I realized my order was not correct. I ordered one St. Louis style rib dinner and one Baby Back rib dinner. Inside there were two rib and chicken dinners which was not what I ordered. I also noticed that the bags were tied very tightly. The food is usually better than the food I received today and they usually get my order correct. Please be sure to check your order before you leave if you order online.
I ordered the chicken and brisket plate with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was delicious and juicy but the brisket was a little dry. We waited for rolls until halfway done with our meal. When we tried to ask one of the ladies for some, she rudely replied that they were baking more and she would go around and hand some to everyone. It took them a while before they did. They were good. I just didn't like the fact that they don't have them ready for you to eat with your meal.
I used to love Spring Creek but I've noticed that it's going downhill. Food is not up to par. I ordered the sausage and ham and they gave me the bits and ends and little chopped up pieces. You used to be able to go in before covid and get refills on vegetables and sides and get charged the same price now you're paying the same price for food that's not up to par and only one serving of vegetables. The tables were filthy. There was no one cleaning the tables there was nowhere to sit there was water all over the floor. The restrooms were filthy. No tissue. Spring Creek is one of my husband's favorite restaurants and he doesn't like to go out to eat very often. So I was very disappointed in all the things that we saw. We asked for them to clean a table and a guy was going to come and clean it. And the manager told him to continue what he was doing to not worried about the tables. That seemed kind of rude. But he was following orders from the manager that told him not to clean the tables. Can you send someone else out 5 minutes later to clean the tables.
The restaurant manager shared concerns about a high turnover rate among management. I inquired about the previous manager's absence. On a Saturday evening, there were approximately 10 customers in the restaurant. The location has the potential to generate more revenue if marketing efforts were enhanced. Signage, flyers, and balloons could be used to attract more customers. The initial greeting was friendly but perhaps overly enthusiastic at times. The brisket was well-peppered and the ribs were seasoned well, both meeting the standards of Texas-style barbecue. Unfortunately, the restaurant's location, tucked away off of Carrier Parkway, may limit its visibility and prevent others from enjoying its culinary offerings.
Went there for lunch with all my coworkers food was not as tasty as usual the ribs were very dry the bread was over cooked too crispy over all not a good experience.
Well the only reason I go there is because of the rolls. Evidently they don’t hand out rolls anymore. The entire time I was there and I waited 20 after I was finished with eating to see if they were going to hand any out, NOPE. The bbq is average best but the rolls are excellent.
I’ve been here a couple of times and while the food was good there are some things that rubbed me the wrong way the biggest one being the way some of mangers speak to the staff there they’re so rude and mean 🥲 they do this in front of the line when you’re getting your food so i can only imagine how they are spoken to behind closed doors…super disappointing
Skimpy plate them ribs was starving, brisket cooked to long the sausage, taste, more like hotdogs and I can’t eat hot dogs so after a few bites I felt like I wasn’t going to keep it down so maybe there just highly process like hotties who knows, the sides were not the best very lack luster and mediocre. Food is affordable, but you do get what you pay for. The customer service was nice, but when I called for my curbside order, no one even answered. I think I’m giving it two star just because they were nice and the price is not bad but the food was in my opinion nasty I didn’t even finish it
The food was just okay—nothing memorable. The ribs were good, but the green beans were cold. The dining area was a mess, with dirty tables everywhere and only one person trying to keep up with cleaning. No one even attempted to help us find a clean spot, despite clearly seeing us wandering around. What really left a bad taste was the tip being added at the counter. For what? You have to get your own refills, and there’s basically no table service. Feels like you're tipping for nothing. Pickup orders standing around complaining their order were already over 30 minutes late. Disaster and we were the only ones in line , not busy just very bad time management. As for dessert, the banana pudding was a letdown—just two vanilla wafers buried in a cup of overly whipped pudding. This was our first and last visit. Definitely not worth the hype or the price.
$26 5 Ribs had no flavor like they was cooked in a oven, beans had more peppers and onions in them potato salad no flavor. No need to tell me to contact anyone else I won't be back.
Ordered dinner for my household... the brisket was not delivered so I called the store... they said "Oops we forgot it" I asked for a resolution... they said "oh just have door dash give you a partial refund"... For me to reorder the brisket cost me MORE than they refund!!
We’ve been coming here for decades. Today it was the last time. We ordered our food, did not get what we ordered and when the manager came to our table he accused me of not paying for it. Never asked to see the receipt or nothing. This guy was extremely rude and cannot understand how he is a manager. His name is Bruce and the GM, Cesar was even worst. What horrible individuals they have running this establishment. Missed treating customers and treating then as “Thieves”. My wife and u were humiliated in front is so many people.
I've been going to this location for years. Never have had a bad experience. Today I saw poor leadership and laziness. No communication between the cooks in what was available to eat. When we asked for more bread said needed to wait 7 minutes. We waited patiently, asked for the bread after the time had passed. Told they had to make more, none in the oven. This location has gone down hill. I really hope there's improvement before I try again.
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had buying food from Spring Creek BBQ. I ordered my food and requested that the baked potato not include chives. When the food came out, the baked potato had chives on it, and the chicken dinner I ordered was burnt as well as the rolls. The server said they could fix the baked potato as well as give me another order of chicken. This was sent back and I noticed that the server on the line was removing the chives from the baked potato intending on bringing it backed to me as if it was fresh. When I confronted her about it, she attempted to give me a fresh baked potato which is what she should have done in the first place. There was absolutely NO INTEGRITY in her actions. The manager got involved and said, "we don't train them that way". That didn't and doesn't fix the issue. How many times did she do that to other customers? I promptly got my money back from this transaction. Spring Creek, people are spending their hard earned money to eat out considering the present conditions within the economy and they deserve a good experience. I understand that this may not happen to everyone but it happened to me and I witnessed it. Spring Creek, please keep in mind that everyone who buys food from your establishment should get and deserve the best customer service possible.
I just received my order from spring creek,to start with it arrived ice cold the ribs very tough as was the beef the sausage was ok also they didn't send the cobbler, very frustrating for 38.00 they did offer to replace the order of witch I'm not interested in It was delivered thru door dash.
This particular Spring Creek was at one point the best one in DFW. When I worked in the area we would eat here multiple times a week. If we were near another Spring Creek and wanted BBQ we would drive to this location. We’ve even came to this location to celebrate birthdays. We’ve told everyone we know how good this place was. Now I wouldn’t recommend it, at least not when these employees are here. The last couple of times have left a bad taste. Not only because of the quality of food but because of the lack of customer service. A week ago we came for the lunch special. We ordered brisket and ribs. The ribs were fine, but the brisket not only lacked the usual flavor but it was cold. I came on lunch break and didn’t have enough time to go through the line again. Another group of customers were also unhappy with the brisket because of it being cold. They got new plates. My stomach hurt the next day so much that I didn’t come to work the next day. However I can’t be certain it was because of this place, but I know it didn’t help. Today we came with the whole work crew. (+$100 ticket). The African American gentlemen would not only chop the meat, plate it, and bag it but he would also hand it out. The bus boy kept busy with the tables, but they were the only two actually working. When we ordered, the employees, pictured sitting down, rushed to the line to help us, however they got our order wrong and they were not listening or paying attention. We saw their attitude and work ethic and figured it wasn’t worth arguing or making a big deal about it. We wanted two meat combos instead only got lukewarm brisket. They didn’t have a baked potato available which is my preferred side that I couldn’t get because they were out. After “helping us” They sat down and talked and joked around. At first I thought they were on break. However, they would get up only to ring someone up, so they had to be on the clock. 20 minutes after we sat down; being more than half way done with my lukewarm meal. I realized we had gone without any hot bread being offered, had to us. I had to ask one of them for fresh bread. Although I wasn’t sure he heard me because he didn’t nod or so much look in my direction after I asked for bread. Keep in mind that is something that Spring Creek is know for. Other times, a Hispanic lady, at this location, would ask us 6 or more times if we wanted bread. She would continually be making and handing out bread; something customers not only enjoy but expect at Spring Creek. Even if we only want one or two rolls it’s nice to know we could get more if we wanted. One of the boys sitting flirting with that blonde threw the bread in the oven only to promptly sit back down. That’s how I figured he had in fact heard me ask foe the bread. When we finally were given our bread(employee not wearing gloves) it was both burnt and undercooked: Squishy, gooey middle and burnt, crisp outside. The worst part is how they treated the bread basket. They hung it on the back of a chair that they were sitting in. Only to be moved to the floor as shown in the picture. After some time they just place in on the counter by the oven where it always is without so much as a wipe down. I don’t know if that is against health code, but I know I wouldn’t want to eat anything out of that basket or anything prepared on that counter. Restrooms have mold although the floors weren’t sticky and everything was stocked. Date of visit March 5, 2021 2:20- 3:00
They will give you the wrong items. Always check your to go order before leaving the restaurant.
Horrible first experience, I ordered a 3meat plate for $23 and practically got nothing sausages were sliced very slim brisket looked like a pinch of scraps which was too small to even get flavor out of it the 1 1/2 rib and potato salad was the best thing on the plate
Went here on Saturday for dinner. The meat was dry and didn't have fresh rolls. Took my 5year old to the restroom and there was NO toilet paper. I called the manager on the phone from the RR to please provide toilet paper... She said no we cant take you any do that you are inside the restroom. Really? Horrible experience with my son!
I go to Spring Creek at least twice a week and always get the sliced brisket meal. Today when I opened my sandwich on my lunch break at work I noticed there were only 2 slices of brisket and the rest was just chopped up bits. With the price of my sandwich which is $15 just for the sandwich, I want to get my moneys worth and don’t appreciate being taken advantage of.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! Been coming here for as long as we have lived in Grand Prairie (15years). Used to come often on Sundays & today my family & I were enjoying our ice cream & a man there CHARLES, came to our table & told us that we were told there was an “end” time & that his “next party was arriving. Keep in mind we weren’t even in here for an hour AND we were the only ones in that back room, every single other table was empty. Also, we’ve never been given an “end time”. It’s ridiculous that someone would basically come ask us to leave when they’re restaurant is more than half empty. Will never come here again, service is poor poor.
Food was horrible and the manager didn't t care! I've been going here for years and won t be back! Food is horrible for the price and service stinks!
Spring Creek Barbeque Grand Prairie failed me today. An order for 2 XL family meals were ordered ahead of time for my family's Christmas dinner tonight along with 1 pound of baby back ribs and a slab of st Louis ribs, totaling $270. They call me 20 minutes before pick up asking me to substitute the single order of chicken. Mind you, I placed the order ahead of time to reserve my food. I am currently inside of the restaurant waiting for them to pack up the order and plenty of folks are tearing up that unavailable chicken. Be careful pre-ordering here for your next event.
Only thing good here is the bbq sauce! Spent $25 on 5 small ribs that barley had any meat on them with no flavor! Boiled and not smoked... what a waste of money
Spring Creek use to be so good sides was unlimited meat was always fresh and hot. The staff was friendly and polite. But now Spring Creek has went downhill and has no dignity. Staff and managers always different and unfriendly definitely not polite and does not show any Texas Hospitality. The sides are not the same anymore they give you little portions and no unlimited sides but your paying 25 for a rib plate to get 4 little ribs 2 little sides and a hot roll. The prices has went ridiculously high for the meat not to even be hot or fresh always taste like last week warmed up meat. Lunch specials has 2 items that cost 17 and up then they will give you a lunch portion when you can pay just 1 dollar more for the regular meal. If you ever want good BBQ here in Texas trust me don't waste your time here you will be disappointed.
Have been a customer here for a while and this is the first time the ribs smelled porky on the point of being bad. (Food safety) Don’t know what happened to the previous manager but the guy today 9/11 was horrible, rude and unprofessional. He spoke badly to the nice staff, mismanaged and have no customer skill. I’m a fan but y’all have to do better. Train him or please replace him .
