Tasty burgers and casual vibes. I had a Spicy cucumber for appetizers, it’s delicious and freshly. Smash burger combo come with selections of sides which I had onion rings, it’s so good with good portions and price. I would recommend this place and definitely come back ;)
I am from south africa and I have to say the food here is phenomenal, me and my wife usually come here-the place has a great atmosphere and a welcoming aura. The servers are attentive and bring out the best service through the Asian culture. Its a small cozy are that is not busy yet, I employ you to try it out❤️ and please tip the servers😊
I couldn’t help but try a burger from this place, because it seemed such an odd combination of menu items. This is one of the best burgers you will ever have. Stop looking at reviews and order a double cheeburger combo from this place. So good.
Great place! Everything is handmade on site. Great veggie dumplings and home style tofu. Really kind barman / waiter. 👍🏼👍🏼
Amazing service and the food is superb. YOU definitely get your money's worth! My picky eater loved it as well .
Really good burgers and dumplings. Friendly service. Needs more veggie options

I was hesitant about the combination of burgers and dumplings but decided to check out the restaurant based on the reviews. The ambience reminded me of an old tavern with dark booths and TVs showing sports. I tried the Kai Burger with its well-seasoned beef and crispy bacon, which was quite satisfying. The pan-fried dumplings with shrimp and chives had a nice crunchy skin and a tasty filling. Overall, the visit was a pleasant surprise, showing that burgers and dumplings can indeed go together.
We’ve been three or four times now and each time we’ve been super impressed. Their smash burgers are on point (and I’m comparing to the smash burgers we typically get in Manhattan and Brooklyn) and their dumplings are great (and we know our Chinese dumplings). We love their cheeseburger dumplings (although wish it had more cheese to them) and tried their soup dumplings tonight and were really surprised that they’re as good as some of the best we’ve had in Flushing. The prices are incredibly good as well. Finally had to write a review - highly recommend
Absolutely delicious food and top notch service! Family-friendly and comfy atmosphere. Kids had a smash burger, fries, and fried calamari. The spicy cucumber was delicious, and the dumplings were all wonderful. Happy hour on weekdays get you BOGO drinks until 7:30pm.
Just tried this place randomly after work the other day, and I LOVED the burgers! I got the double with bacon and the steamed vegetable dumplings; both were amazing! The atmosphere is calm, relaxing, and seems like a good place to chill and have some good food. I'll be back in Great Neck in a few weeks, and I will DEFINITELY be sampling other items from the menu!
Awesome happy hour deals, even on the weekends. Service is attentive and super nice. Having such a unique combination of Asian and American is a dream come true. As a burger snob, I was impressed with their smash burgers. Their beef with mushroom fried dumplings were also the best I've ever had
Came with the family to support local businesses and wanted to try out Kai Burgers. They were very tasty using fresh meat patties. Kids approved 100%. We also got their wings and they were nice and crispy as well. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice quality burger spot to try out in the neighborhood.
Double burger was juicy freshly made .Beijing Noodles and soup dumplings again made fresh on ordered . I only wish they had some spicy combo or sauce that and cilantro will give the food more of an explosion of flavor. I recommend this place.

Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service. Food: - Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal. - onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order. - soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in. Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.
If you’re in the mood for burger and Chinese food, this is the place. East meets West with an Irish theme. I thought it was kind of wacky, but it all works. Great, happy hour drinks, owner, and staff is very down to earth.
Good place to stop by for lunch in Great Neck! The Kai burger, double patties, is $18 but they make the patty fresh for each order. I loved the beef mushroom gyoza and can’t wait to come back for the other dumplings. The dumplings were crispy and juicy and my parents kept saying how the skin was perfectly thin. The salad and cucumber appetizers were super fresh too. Definitely a good spot if you’re craving burgers or dumplings!
Went in for my 2nd visit and decided to give a review. I ordered the Kai burger and my wife ordered their new menu item Beijing Noodle. Server told us they had new chef from Beijing and knew how to make the noodles authentic. Service was prompt as the restaurant was pretty empty around 11:45 am on a Thursday. There seemed to be a few take out orders though. The environment like an neo-retro bar with music from the 80's playing. It's pretty cool. 1) the Kai burger combo was a $21.99 before tax and tip. Although the namesake of the restaurant is based on its burgers, I wasn't overall impressed by it for the price I paid. Ingredients were fresh but the burger meat was a bit too smashed and had some burned tastes to it. Also the double meat patties weren't cooked consistently throughout. The sauce and condiments in the burger reminded a bit too much like a McDonalds Big Mac. The bacon and mushrooms that came with in the burger got overwhelmed by the sauce and dlightly chares bits of burger patty. The fries and can of soda that came with the combo were not very impressive, though I suppose they are necessary add-ons when eating burgers. They did try very hard though on this burger as it looks very good. Taste needs tweaking though. 2) the Beijing Noodle was top notch. Noodles were well textured and nicely warmed. The Cucumber toppings and meat sauce were also very good. I wanted to actually eat these noodles more. The Chinese centered dishes are very good. Overall I would rate this establishment a solid 4/5. Their prices for their burger is not cheap and I expected a little more from the combo. If they included fries and a drink with the burger for $18.99 instead of $21.99 it might be a little better deal. A decent lunch around the area for a burger with fries and drink would probably run around $15-$16. Their Chinese centered dishes are much more on point and fit the area along with what other Chinese establishments have been doing. Their dumplings and noodles are great. I commend them for striking out and trying something that the Chinese community here probably have never considered. But as a restaurant where "Burger and Dumplings" are part of your name, they need to step up the burger game. I remember during my first visit when they first opened that the owner said he wanted to directly compete with nearby Peter Lugers ‐ to give the Chinese community of Long Island an excellent steakhouse experience at a more affordable price with dishes that also fit Chinese taste. On next visit, I will be excited to try their steaks and other Chinese dishes.
Just tried this new Burger place. The dumplings were amazing. French Fries were crispy, crunchy delights in my mouth. The burger was really good too. The "Monster Burger" was a 1# burger and really was enormous. The only thing I would do differently next time I go back is adjust the spice level on the burger to each of our liking. It was quite spicy.
Will return. A nice little eatery with a vodka and whisky bar (no wine 🍷 ). A side from the bar food, they also serve dumplings, with good vinegar (not sweet!), which we came here for: not bad, the chives are very fresh. Will return for more. Wish them luck, to survive long term. Pretty floor tiles. Street parking.

First time getting kicked out of a restaurant during a weekday at lunch! Three coworkers and I went in for lunch, we were not acknowledged or greeted. We sat ourselves and got our own menus. The waiter passed by us 2 times before coming over and saying what can I get you. There were 2 other people in the place so it was not busy at least in the restaurant. Something was off with the waiter. Don’t want to get anyone in trouble but the feedback is needed. We were between 3 different dumpling orders and finally settled on 1 kind. We each ordered burgers and 2 people ordered them as combos. The waiter brought us the 1 order of dumplings we ordered. Five minutes later he brought us 2 more orders of dumplings (the other options we were considering but did not order). We politely said we didn’t order these dumplings. He said yes you did, I heard you. He never repeated back the order to us so he must’ve added all 3 orders of dumplings. He said he’d take it back to the kitchen. He went back to the kitchen and we heard shouting and he came back and said the kitchen is refusing service. We were all so confused. He asked us to leave and we were still in shock. One of my colleagues said we’ll take one of the additional orders of dumplings since it had already been made but then we’ll cancel one of the burger orders since that wasn’t made yet. We were trying to compromise and still salvage the situation but then the kitchen staff opened a little window and shouted at us, have a nice day, you can leave now. We were still confused and shocked because we never raised our voices nor were we demanding anything. We literally just wanted to grab a quick lunch. We were confused if we should pay for the dumplings that we did eat but they asked us to leave again so we left. For whatever reason they escalated the situation into something that was very unnecessary. There are plenty of good reviews so I’m not what happened but we received terrible service. The place was also dingy and the initial experience with us having to seat ourselves should’ve been the first cues to walk out of there but we were kicked out instead. Still super confused and shocked.
