My wife and I stopped for early dinner on our shopping trip and had a great meal. This beautiful restaurant has left the best impression I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal. Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. I loved there new Christmas set menu, good value for money. Will be back soon!
I have many food allergies, and it is usually not easy to choose a suitable dish from the menu. The waitress was very kind and explained everything clearly, helping me with my selection. She worked with the chef to adjust the ingredients specifically for me and was always happy to assist. My father and I were very pleased and decided to come back again even after we ordered drinks and food. It was an excellent experience!
Had a lovely meal at Côte in Bluewater. The beef steak was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavour. My child really enjoyed the burger from the kids' menu – it was just the right size and really tasty. The garlic bread was a great start to the meal, crispy and full of garlic goodness. To top it all off, the dessert was amazing and felt really special – the perfect end to the meal. The mojito was refreshing and well-balanced. The service was excellent – our server she was polite, professional, and attentive throughout. I really recommend this place; it’s a must-visit!
EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much to the grey haired waiter who has the most incredible customer service skills and was so polite and friendly, simply excellent. You made our afternoon so pleasant with your hospitality skills and manners and the fuss you made of us despite it being busy in the restaurant. Even when I had such a fussy friend when he eats out you were so accommodating. Been to many restaurants in my lifetime hundreds if not thousands but this waiter in Cote Bluewater is out of a top fine hotel. The only other place I saw such high polite and warm hospitality skills was in Beverly Hills, California. As for the Italian Manager , you are so polite and incredible with a HEART OF GOLD. The running of the restaurant is what it is because of you my dear and thank you for being you. Your both truly special. The food was truly incredible and mouth watering. The soup, sea bass and cheeseboard out of this world. Even the butter and bread so tasty and everything that was served so well presented. We will be back but returning hopefully next week. I also researched to find out this restaurant is not Jewish owned so If like me you are currently boycotting Jewish and Israeli businesses due to the genocide , this restaurant is not on the boycott list. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR FOOD AND SERVICE !!!!! ❤️
Our dining experience at Côte Bluewater was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly greeted by the attentive staff, especially our waitress, Ida, whose knowledge and guidance in selecting our dishes were invaluable. Her expert descriptions truly enhanced our culinary journey. The presentation of each dish was a work of art, meticulously crafted to please both the eyes and the palate. Each plate that graced our table was a testament to the chef's dedication to perfection. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delightful symphony of flavors. Not only was the food exquisite in taste, but the ambiance of the restaurant also added to the overall charm of the evening. The elegant decor and soothing atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an extraordinary culinary adventure. With impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder this establishment stands out as a pinnacle of fine dining excellence.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere under the guidance of Ida who was friendly attentive and gave great service in a relaxed pace , never felt rushed and really enjoyed our evening , food was delicious and plentiful. Had the chicken to share , and a starter and a wonderful chocolate sharing dessert with biscuits nuts and salt which together tasted amazing
From start to finish, the staff at Côte Brasserie Bluewater were incredibly attentive, sincere, and committed to ensuring their customers had a wonderful experience. When I say everyone, I truly mean everyone! The food was full of flavor, and the chocolate chaud is an absolute must-try. We were also celebrating my son’s birthday, and the team kindly provided a complimentary cake, which made the occasion even more special. A special mention goes to Gheorge, who served us, and Konsta, who gave us such a warm welcome. Congratulations to the manager for keeping this Côte branch a standout among all the others.
Amazing service and delicious food at incredible prices. The prix fixe menu represented unbelievable value with 3 courses for £25. We upgraded to sirloin steak for an extra £8 which was delicious (only thing is we would have preferred our steak a bit hotter but it was tasty nonetheless) Front of house through to waiters and servers were so so lovely. Highly recommend French onion soup and the blueberry financier to finish.
We were served by Leah for breakfast. From arrival she greeted us with a warm smile. From explaining the menu choices and answering our questions. She was so patient and served us with a warm and gentle presence. My husband and I don’t have a lot of time alone and I really appreciate Leah taking the extra time to ensure we were comfortable and happy with our food and experience. Thank you Leah and Cote Bluewater
Coté really made my birthday special 🥹. They gave me a birthday card and a glass of champagne 🥂. Such kind and warm hearted staff. I really appreciate it. Food and service 10/10. Management 10/10 and Azzurra I loved her positive aura. She made us feel welcome and she knew guided us through the menu and drinks. 10/10. I enjoy coming to Coté and by far this has been the best experience.
Atmosphere is always good here, it is usually very busy and the decor is very Parisienne. The new menu will take a bit of getting used to, we found the new menu very reduced and the unlimited fries and gravy seems a bit pointless, it is just creating work for the servers keep running back and forth with the same size fries for two as it was for one before the menu change, same with the sauces. The servers here are always helpful and do what they can to accommodate your needs, special thanks to Sascha - he was very attentive and helpful when we visited. If you want a well cooked meal with good atmosphere then this is definitely worth trying.
Came in for the set menu and got the steak frites and the pistachio crème brûlée! Very good value for money and the atmosphere was amazing. Cynthia was absolutely amazing. It was so busy, but she was so sweet and so kind to us. She really made our day :)
Leah is our absolute favourite, we have been coming to Cote for nearly 5 years, she was our waitress the first time we came and have been coming back ever since! always get a fantastic service, so kind & always makes your visit special! always has time for you, very professional and attentive to detail. in the 5 years i have been coming to have breaksfast here, ive never had a bad experience. we have celebrated occasions here and everything, great service and food every time. bring small children during the week in the morning, nice and quiet for them.
5:30pm booking for a 20th birthday celebration. I was able to set up some balloons and requested corner booth seating. They were very accommodating. Our server was Ida. I can not thank her enough for the exceptional service, attention to detail, and general attitude.
Always a great breakfast spot, friendly team, good value for money. Please don’t change.
Stopped by for a quick lunch with some friends after a morning of shopping. Luckily seated outside with the sun shining. Staff were attentive, smiling and constantly keeping all surfaces clean. Food was hot, nicely presented and everyone finished their meal. I enjoyed the tomato, shallot and basil salad. Simple but incredibly tasty. I also had the calamari, not a rubbery piece in sight, juicy, flavoursome and wonderfully cooked. I'm sure we will all return on our next spree
What a gorgeous place! Food was amazing. Our server was so friendly and helpful. Such a lovely little gem tucked away!
Went for the set lunch 2 courses. Our server was Leah who did a great job of helping us decide on which starter to choose & looked after us well. It’s nice to have such a friendly face and person take care of you especially when going out to lunch with a friend is still such a treat for me & always will be. This was Cote Bluewater.
Had a lovely time for brunch at Côte with my husband. The atmosphere was lovely and the service from our waitress Leah was exceptional. I would highly recommend
Went for a pre Christmas family lunch and our waitress Ida was lovely! Friendly, funny, and really accommodating. Made a lovely atmosphere and good food!
Lovely lunch as a break from Xmas shopping. Great service from all the staff and particularly Cynthia our server. One of the few really good places for Coeliac safe food in Bluewater.
This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, is never too noisy & serves delicious food. What sets it apart from other eateries at Bluewater is the staff. They are always knowledgeable, welcoming, efficient & very friendly. We'd like to particularly mention Tom S who made our visit extra special. Thank you Tom.
Had a lovely meal for my mother in laws bday. All the staff including Ida were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and made her bday special. The choc mousse was the best I have ever tasted
Leah is amazing, a fantastic waitress, me and my partner have come back time and time again because of her. She’s so attentive, polite and a great asset to this restaurant. We look forward to getting breakfast at cote before having a shop round bluewater and always hope for her to be in (always a Monday we have found out!) five star service from Leah, give that woman a pay rise because she deserves it ! Food is always great too, best place to have breakfast in bluewater!
Perfect evening at cote blueeeee. Food perfect, atmosphere perfect and waitress service impeccable.. thanks all for a perfect evening.. first time for an evening meal as we normally come to you for breakfast. Will be back for sure in the new year... We all wish you a merry Christmas and let's hope for you guys 2026 will be a better year for business..
Restaurant buzzing when all others around were dead. Roast chicken was absolutely delicious, amazing gravy January special tartiflette rich and creamy, service from Leah topped off a wonderful dining experience. Cote Bluewater still consistently delivers
Food and service were amazing! We just came for lunch — I had the sea bass and my husband had a steak, both were delicious. The French onion soup was incredible. My boys were happy and they loved their vanilla ice cream in a waffle cup. Everything was tasty and well-priced. Our waitress Ida was awesome — friendly, quick-response and very helpful. Thank you for making our first visit such a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back!
We would like to pass on excellent feedback for our server at Côte Bluewater (Azzurra) they were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Their service significantly enhanced our dining experience, and we felt very well looked after throughout the meal.
I recently came to Côte at Bluewater . I was served by Cynthia n Alex (who I asked their names because I couldn’t help but leave a review based on how fantastic they were) . The service was warm, kind, welcoming . From the minute we stepped in the door to the moment we left was a wonderful experience . Food was 10/10 but the staff , especially Cynthia n Alex made it extra special . Definitely recommend 10/10 .
We just had a lovely lunch at Cote in Bluewater. There was not one person we came in contact with who was not warm, friendly, welcoming and efficient. This experience was positive from the welcome we received on entering, ordering of food, delivery of food, problem encountered & food quality. Special mention goes to Kitty and Alex. The service received elevated the whole experience. I was particularly impressed that when i mentioned to a manager how pleasant a member of staff had been she came back with a QR code and the member of staff’s name so that she could get recognition for her service, that’s promoting your team. Would certainly recommend and return. Had no intention of spending this much on a quick lunch the experience made the decision for us. Thoroughly enjoyed.
We booked the table for happiest menu however most of the choices were unavailable! The waitress IDA was absolutely brilliant and very helpful. The food was tasty just not enough options.
Brought my mum to have lunch at cote Bluewater last Thursday: impeccable service from Leah. She greeted us with a warm welcome and really put us at ease to enjoy the moment and appreciate great food! Thank you so much Leah! Compliment to the chef as well for thé bœuf bourguignon and amazing chocolate fondant! Only down side: non-alcoholic cocktail for £10 each. Good but nothing special.
Lovely restaurant in Bluewater. Menu quite small and very few cocktails for the non driver. Never the less food was pleasant and pudding was OK. I would suggest to add a little more caramelised sugar to your Cremé Brulle so it definitely cracks as that was very much lacking
We went for the lunch menu. The starters were good sized and tasted nice. The steak main had some chewy inedible fat. Even though there were chips it left the plates empty looking with some herbs. The kids meals were ok but it seems the kids and adults chips were the same size. There was a very buzzy lovely atmosphere and service was attentive.
Very disappointed with the service my friend and I received today from a young rude aggressive waitress. We asked a manager her name but he wouldn’t give it to us. The food was nice but it was certainly not service with a smile. So upsetting as my friend and I don’t meet that often. Definitely some people skills training required
A Dining Rollercoaster - The restaurant started strong with attentive staff and delicious food. But after the main course, service plummeted. Ordering dessert was impossible and paying the bill were painfully slow. Hence we didn’t make it to dessert. Despite this we were overcharged for a 2 course meal instead of just the one we had. To top it off, we found out we could have saved money ordering from a la carte instead of the prix fix menu. But waiter was not keen to suggest or adjust. £48 for one course adult and one course child meal plus one drink each. We left disappointed and unsatisfied. Despite the promising start, i we won’t be returning anytime soon - if at all. There are plenty of other businesses to support.
Edit in response with the website screenshot which I went back to check - our booking was for before 5pm. Came for Valentine’s Day meal and despite our booking being before 5pm we were still forced to have the valentines set menu which is more expensive than then normal menu even though it’s the same meals as the normal menu (check normal menu meal costs for the exact 2 or 3 courses). The opinion was either 2 or 3 course meal from the set menu making it more expensive and the portions were small anyway and food not that amazing. The service was good though and the atmosphere (although very cold as it’s near the door to the shopping centre and the open area). I don’t think I will return again as this was unfair
We got the sharer roast chicken dinner and we're not impressed with it. The chicken was good, but the potatoes were hash browns and the gravy pot was tiny - when we asked for more gravy they charged us nearly £3 for another tiny pot. Also I was not impressed with the vegetable selection and surprised that there were no carrots or peas. Really poor for a sharer roast for over £50. You would have a better meal if you order the single chicken meal each rather than the sharer. We also got a camembert to share and there was barely enough cheese for one person.
Just had their steak, egg and chips for breakfast, very poor quality steak flavour was not great, so tough the knife’s could not cut it and quite a bit of gristle. I would avoid this option.
I don’t know what’s wrong with this particular Cote. But the restaurant is quite bad overall. 1. Food’s not good - slow cook pork belly skin is not crispy, and very salty. Mussels are over cooked. Pasta is very oilish. 2. The manager have to lean across our seat to get a bottle of wine from the shelf behind us, and broke the glass bottle. Rather than cleaning up our jacket first, he actually try to clean up the sofa and the floor first….speechless 3. Frites - very bad, as they are so proud of their frites, but all of them are over cooked and burned.
The most awful steak I’ve ever had. Sitting in the restaurant to review it shows how bad it was. 3/4 of the steak left because of fat and gristle, according to the waitress that’s considered ‘normal’. Apparently I should’ve sent it back immediately. Who knew. On a positive, service was quick and efficient, restaurant was quiet. Shame about the rubber steak.
