Having lived literally 5 minutes from this restaurant for over 2 years, I can’t believe I only visited for the first time recently! What a fun experience and yummy, creative, filling dishes. I love seeing places with great food great outside of downtown Greenville. Dinner date got the spaghetti (added meatballs) I got a pesto/based pasta dish that for the life of me I can’t remember the name of, and added chicken. We shared an appetizer that was like sourdough bruschetta caprese- delicious. Drinks were mules of some kind (yummy). We also got some donut-type desert. I believe they change their menu seasonally, and we went in August, so their offerings may be different currently. But service was great as well. Definitely make a reservation, as it’s not the largest place and you definitely want to be able to get in and eat!
Absolutely delicious! Everything is made fresh to order and was so well presented. Service was excellent, drinks stayed filled and the servers were very knowledgeable of their menu. We will definitely go back!
Had the best dinner with friends last night. After hearing of Spaghetti Western i’ve been wanting to give it a try for a while and finally made it. Push past the unassuming location and you’re in for a treat. For the level of food the atmosphere is nicely laid back, warm and welcoming. The name gives away the theme and the execution is 10/10. Wanting to try as much of the menu as possible we started with the grilled bread, had the sour grapes salad, the Hog Tie (beef Bolognese) added on the meatballs and finished with Slow Dough doughnuts. Everything exactly lived up to the reputation what a wonderful meal and evening. A special shoutout to Kelsey she made our evening. One of our party was dietary vegan and she did the best job walking through the preparations of each dish to fit her needs. Can’t wait to come back
Spaghetti Westurn is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to! Local ingredients and they make their own pasta in the restaurant definitely adds to the uniqueness and deliciousness (is that even a word lol) of the menu! We started off with "six feet under " beet salad with goat cheese. If I had a complaint... it would be it needs more beets ! I ordered the "white lighting " and added grilled chicken. This dish was so good! Kinda like an Alfredo sauce with the noodles. It would be delicious with any of the proteins they have to offer. My girlfriend ordered "Prarie dog" and added shrimp. Again, a very good dish! If you like pesto, this is for you! Our dessert was a Huckleberry Panna cotta with a biscotti crumbles topping. It was a nice light ending for our meal. Our service was spot on. Our server answered any questions we had and took good care of us. I look forward to dining at Spaghetti Westurn again. Hopefully soon!
I so thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The vibe is eclectic and fun. Western theme and music, handmade pasta...what a combo! Our waitress, Anna Marie, was such a joy. The owner (didn't catch his name) was so friendly, and his wife makes the pasta. We got the grilled bread, the Prairie Dog, White Lightning, and took the Giddy Up to-go. I will definitely be back!
6/04/24 First visit to this restaurant and certainly not the last! We went super early because we were going to the Peace Center to see Mama Mia tonight. We were greeted and quickly shown to a table by the owner Jason Sanders. We loved the fact that he explained the appetizer & entrees to us to which added to our enjoyment. Our server Velena was exceptionally good! So quick to take our orders, fill our drinks and deilver our meals always cheerful too. Smiling Steve in the kitchen also did a great job helping to prepare our dishes & plating them. There is plenty of seating and the atmosphere is family friendly and lovely for couples too. I tried the Tropic Like it's Hot cocktail and loved it my friend had a Michelob Ultra. We shared the Fogata Ricotta Appetizer a delicious portion of creamy whipped Ricotta cheese, black pepper honey, pickled grapes & garlic bread & fried sage. Our entrees were the The Gitty Up pasta with marinara sauce, shaved parmesan and meatballs. For desert we got the Lavender Panna Cotta with trail mix. This is a place we plan to enjoy again very soon.
Absolutely some of the best Italian food we have had here in Greenville. The crispy bread with the garlic aioli was a good start, then the Caesar salad, followed by our main dish; nothing was a disappointment. The service was amazing and our waitress checked on us frequently. We went right after they opened at 4pm and it was not busy at all. The parking was tight but overall we had a very good experience. Will definitely go back.
The staff was friendly. The food was flavorful. The kitchen was able to accommodate gluten-free and vegan requests.
This was our first time at Spaghetti Westurn, and will not be our last! The food and service are phenomenal.
Just discovered this place...it is a gem. Cutest decor and themed menu, the food is top notch quality with home made sauces and locally sourced sourdough bread and the presentation is perfect...all with very fair prices. We had the beet appetizer and sourdough bread (pictured)...But the best of all is the warm hospitality and excellent service. Our waitress, Priscilla was so attentive and friendly. We are definitely adding this place to our restaurant rotation.
My friends took me to Spaghetti Westurn for the first time last night. They went on opening night and loved it. I called on a Friday afternoon and Jason was a huge help getting us a last minute reservation-and I suggest making one because they were packed! We ordered the broccolini app (appetizer special) with house made aioli, which was SO good. We also ordered the bread with infused olive oil-excellent. Two of us ordered the White Lightning pasta, I added steak. It was so delicious I would definitely recommend it. The other person at the table got the spaghetti and meatballs and said it was really good. The staff was so nice, our server Michelle was incredibly sweet and genuine, we loved her!! The owner stopped by the check on us which is always a nice touch. 10/10, I can’t wait to go back.
Great food. Every pasta dish is made with in house made pasta and you can't go wrong with any of them. Don't miss the Fogata Ricotta. One of the best dishes in Greenville. This is a hidden (or not so hidden) neighborhood gem. Definitely make a reservation on the weekend.
First time here! It was amazing. We shared a Caesar salad (the best we’ve ever had!!) then got the beef bolognese and chicken pesto dishes. Absolutely delish- will not be our last visit. Also, our waitress was awesome!!
We had the Goat Cheese and Beet Salad, White Lightning, Black Gold, and Chocolate Cake. They were all INCREDIBLE. I think it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Greenville. Must visit.
This place is AMAZING!! The beet appetizer is part of their regular menu and was beautiful and delicious. There was a special pesto burrata on aioli bread that was OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD and hands down the best burrata we have ever had. All the pasta is handmade and fantastic. This is my favorite pasta place in Greenville now. The cowgirl's kiss drink I chose was perfect. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about all the choices and very efficient. I wasn't confident it was going to be as great as many of the reviews stated because of the location, but don't judge a book by its cover. The inside of the restaurant is super cute and clean and the food is better than 99% of the restaurants we've eaten at since moving down here last year. This is a must try and you will definitely return!!
My first dining experience at Spaghetti Westurn and I already have a new favorite restaurant. Such a great meal and dining experience. This is honestly some of the best pasta I have had in a very long time. The flavor profile and creativity from the two dishes my wife and I got were amazing. Service was excellent, bar drinks were fantastic and best of all I left with a full stomach and leftovers which usually never happens.
Spaghetti Westurn has really unique pasta dishes and is probably unlike any Italian restaurant you’ve ever been in. The last time we were there, they had ran out of a few dishes, but the ones they did have were really good. You must try their Fogata Ricotta appetizer (pictured) because it is AMAZING. The Lady of the Night dish is mine me my wife’s favorite dish as it’s is very unique and tasteful. Service has always been really great too. Give Spaghetti Westurn a try because I think you’ll be quite pleased!
Finally got an opportunity to put a reservation in for Spaghetti Westurn. It did not disappoint! Drinks were well made. You can definitely taste the quality of ingredients that are used. All the pastas except GF are hand made, and you can taste the difference. Can’t wait to go back!
What a great experience! Our server, AnneMarie, was a delight. She was extremely attentive and personable. The food was absolutely incredible. A 10/10 for sure. We are lucky to have this little gem in Taylors! Also, their margarita is one of the best I've ever had. Go here as soon as you can, you will NOT be disappointed.
This is a wonderful restaurant! Everything has been suburb every time I have eaten here. The food is delicious, flavorful, and filling. We always have the same server and she is incredible! She is extremely kind and attentive! Do yourself a favor and dine here !
One of Greenville’s newest restaurants and this beet and goat cheese salad tasted just as good as it looked. Definitely will have to go back for some of their fresh pasta that they’re known for. If this salad is an indicator of what’s your come, it’s definitely not going to disappoint I didn’t even like beets prior to trying this salad.
Fun, casual ambience with the coolest decor and music to set the scene. This would definitely make a great date night destination. Or you can go on a solo adventure like I did. It’s a comfortable vibe either way. Now, let’s get down & dirty… Spaghetti Westurn has a killer menu with a fun, creative take on pasta dishes. The best part? Their pasta is hand-made. Gluten-free pasta? They got you. I got the White Lightening dish as my entree. Tagliatelle pasta (similar to fettuccine but wider and thinner), mozzarella, artichokes, crispy pancetta bits in a creamy sauce with grated cheese on top. I added grilled chicken to it as well. This was unbelievably amazing!! So much flavor. I was actually sad when all the pasta was gone because it was soooo fresh. If you’ve had fresh pasta before, you understand. It has a satisfying silky springy texture unlike its boxed counterpart. If you want to know how pasta should taste, definitely visit Spaghetti Westurn. Prepare to have your minds blown.
truly amazing food! had the Crispy Grilled Bread, Arancini, and the Prairie Dog pasta for the main course. Every single thing we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection! Extremely fresh, beautifully prepared and excellent service. I have found a new favorite and can not wait to return : )
Amazing! Hands down one of the best kept secrets in Greenville! Food is phenomenal and quality, service and attention to detail are outstanding!
Wow! What a great restaurant. The food was as pretty as it was delicious, the pastas are all handmade, the cocktails are intriguing, and the clever title comes complete with Western movies and a giant Lee Van Cleef giving diners the evil eye.
Absolutely incredible food. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Food is spectacular, to say the very least, as are the drinks. You would be doing yourself a disservice by not eating here asap.
Saw this cute little restaurant up the street of our house and figured we stop by! And I’m really glad we did because everything was so cute from the aesthetics of the decor and the delicious handmade pasta! Our waitress was also lovely! Will be stopping by more frequently
Hidden gem in Greenville. Amazing date night with my wife and it always feels like you are a part of the family.
We had an amazing experience! It was busy on a Thursday night but our server Kelsey was so great. We had the ricotta, gnocchi, and the carolina ‘weeper’ which were all a 10/10. My favorite was the ricotta appetizer! Def recommend a reservation!
Probably our favorite local restaurant in Greenville. It is charming and disarming with a fun, happy atmosphere where you can tell people enjoy where they work . And of course - the food is phenomenal. All of their pastas have been top tier and the bread is always perfect ! We love this place, the owners, and the staff.
Amazing pasta! Everything is made fresh and the beet salad is to die for, so delicious! The staff is super friendly and very attentive. My favorite italian restaurant in Greenville!
We love this place. Great food and service. Very chill environment. The westerns are always a good conversation piece.
Fresh homemade pasta, delicious with good variety. We’ll be back. Recommend reservations unless you’re going to arrive early.
I had the whipped ricotta with pickled grapes appetizer and White Lightning entree. Both were delicious! I'm not a foodie, but I went home with the intention of recreating the appetizer! The atmosphere is very casual and true to the name, it has a western theme with western movies playing on the big screens! I would return and will recommend to others!
Had dinner here last night for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect! Food was Amazing, atmosphere was super cute and Mandy our server was helpful, knowledgeable and very nice. We’ll be back for sure! Thank you!
Fantastic place with quality all around. Delicious appetizers with incredible flavor. Classy decor: all on theme. They really went all out. There were even western films on the tv and the music was awesome. Super friendly staff and they were so real!! If you’re feeling like going to Jianna for dinner, GO HERE INSTEAD!!
Spaghetti Westurn is such a gem. We don't live in the Greenville area, but whenever we visit from out of town we try to get to this restaurant. Sometimes you want pasta as no-frills comfort food, and there are restaurants that don't deliver because they try to elevate every menu item when you just want filling and delicious food with no pretense. But a lot of casual Italian places offer only limited options with pasta drenched in super acidic tomato sauce or a alfredo/cream sauce that separates and solidifies before you are halfway done. Where is the restaurant with a low-key vibe that has a variety of good pasta dishes . . . one where you walk away feeling like you satisfied the near primal desire for a comfy bowl of pasta and are simultaneously impressed at the execution? That's Spaghetti Westurn!! Every been to a pasta place that has old western movies showing on tvs visible to all tables, where you can also get squid ink pasta and salad with pickled grapes? No? You really need to try this place. Do yourself a favor and get the Fogata Ricotta (whipped ricotta with black pepper honey and roasted garlic cloves served with crusty sourdough).
So underrated. Creative menu, delicious food, excellent cocktails, phenomenal service, and eclectic vibe. Looking forward to becoming a regular
The food was wonderful. We tried the Fogata Ricotta & it was amazing! I had a lemon shrimp pasta which really yummy. My husband had the lady of the night & it was a bit soupy but still delicious! Will definitely be back even with the 45 min drive.
We went here when they opened and loved it but have not been able to make it back until last night. Wow! This pasta is top notch, the cocktails were excellent and the service was attentive yet not overwhelming. Absolutely love this spot.
This was an amazing surprise. I expect a mid range restaurant but surprised with a level of precision par equal to dining at a true fine dining restaurant with a comfortable layer back friendly feeling. The food was suburb and Will was our server and food Sherpa. Interesting menu but everything was unique, fresh and excellent. We are already looking forward to coming back. My only complaint is they treats credit card to make a reservation. True, they don’t have many tables, I understand but didn’t feel comfortable doing this. Lastly, the prices are reasonable and affordable especially for fine ding in a casual atmosphere.
Very enjoyable experience. Flavorful and craveable pasta dishes. The ricotta appetizer is a must. The putanesca is heart, and the white lighting delivers for the cream based folks. The only minor complaint was the thinner bits of artichoke got dry/stringy in spots. Atmosphere was very nice, and the staff was engaged, friendly, and professional. I totally found this place by accident.
The restaurant was nice. I hadn't read any reviews or anything before going so I didn't have any real expectations going on. I was pleased with the experience. The menu wasn't huge and that's OK because it wasn't overwhelming. We got the Fogata ricotta and it was really good. I got the Gitty up and added meatballs. It wasn't the best spaghetti that I have ever had but it was pretty good. The meatballs were a little salty for my liking. I don't remember our waitress' name but she was great. She was very attentive. We went around 5pm on Saturday. Probably before the dinner crowd but it wasn't busy then. I would recommend this place.
The sauce had way too much clove and cinnamon. You could not taste the pasta or the meat. The arancini was very good.
I’ve eaten here a few times, the food is good but it doesn’t really seem like they care about being a real restaurant. Alcohol selection is super limited, hours are really strange, there are maybe 7 tables in the whole place and there are like maybe 3 or 4 people working at any given time. They also dont take takeout orders if all 7 of their tables fill up. I guess that’s too overwhelming. Pasta is good but they could try a little harder to be an actual restaurant. Maybe the best pasta on wade Hampton but you’d be better off going to Jianna or indaco for a similar price
I guess we were expecting more. Small portion, little overpriced, feel like it was a can sauce with herbs added. Server was nice and explained everything
Gave this place a try for our anniversary. The music was very loud. I asked the waitress if the music was always this loud. She told me the music was loud to cover the yelling in the kitchen. The food was just ok at best. The cost was a little much for what we had. 1 appetizer. 2 entries, and 1 glass of wine. Had high hopes, but was disappointed.
Bolognese entree was so bitter to the point of being inedible. The other entree we ordered had no flavor at all and the chicken on top tasted bitter and burnt as if the griddle was not clean and was inedible as well. The only reason for two stars is because our server was friendly and the salad was good. I will not be returning.
To be honest we had high hopes. It smelled great when we walked in, thought we were about to experience what everyone else seemed to get with this restaurant. What we experienced fell short of that. Ordered the Gitty Up $16.99 with chicken for an additional $6.99, bringing the total to almost $24. This dish was BY FAR not worth $24, the pasta and sauce very closely resembled chef-boyardee…. The chicken was charred and dry. For the prices on the menu I expected something FAR better. This in no way compares with the food at Carpi’s or Portofino’s… I would recommend getting your Italian fix at one of those vs here, at a far better price point. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive and the restaurant was very clean as well. But the food and price vs value/quality missed the mark by a long shot. Sucks cause we had high hopes
For the last 3 weeks we have not been able to get a reservation or order online to go. They shut off online orders every time. Trying to call his hit or miss. Food is great but we will just take our business to the slice because this is ridiculous to not allow online orders. Don’t offer it online if you’re going to shut it off every week.
