It was amazing as always we had reservations for the Valentine's day special and it did not disappoint. Service was on point and the manager even came by to check on us. It was a little expensive but also it was a special even so that was to be expected. We absolutely love coming to the Melting Pot and will 100% be coming back. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Freaking amazing! My wife and I are from Northwest Tn then moved to SC from Murfreesboro Tn. We have visited the Melting pot in Memphis Tn, Nashville Tn and Greenville SC and we have never been let down!

Eventhough we didn't have a reservation on a Thursday night, we only waited about 20 minutes for a table. The place was empty, but I guess they had to find servers to accommodate us and the others that walked in. Our server was great and gave us time between courses to take a minute and catch our breath. The food was decadent as always. Thanks for allowing us to share our birthdays with you.

I took my gf here a few times now and it's been nothing but great experiences. I'm honestly surprised this place isn't rated higher. The food is great and plentiful for what you get definitely worth the price. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Our waiter Cody was very informative and friendly, attentive, talkative in a good way lol. I always enjoy my time here. If you haven't given this place a try please do and avoid what negative reviews say about this place they're just nitpicking. Truly great experience.

Never been here before but my girlfriend suggested it! The service was absolutely outstanding. Truly one of the best experiences as a customer I've ever had. Though it may also be the most I've ever spent on a dinner before it was well worth it for the food and dining experience.

Everything is always perfect at this location. This was our third time visiting this location. Our server Cody was really nice and attentive. He asked multiple times if we needed anything and was very good about making sure everything was perfect. He was very friendly and made the night even better. The food was also very good. The menu has a bar code that allows you to make sure your cooking everything to perfection. Each course was absolutely amazing the cheese, the entree, the chocolate, even the The salad was memorable. The rest of the staff was also very friendly. Our server was willing to exchange anything if we didn't like the cheese or the chocolate he offered to exchange them for something we did like. A very good experience

This is one of our absolute favorite places. We've made so many special memories here over the years--it's where we usually celebrate our birthdays, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for a quiet date night. It's not a place to rush through a meal--it's meant to be enjoyed slowly. Take your time, soak in the experience, and savor each course. It's truly worth every dime. The restaurant is always spotless, and the staff consistently go above and beyond. Every time we arrive, it feels like they've been expecting us. The service is thoughtful and attentive without being overbearing. Important tip: Make a reservation. This is a popular spot, especially for couples, and planning ahead ensures the best experience. We often go on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for our birthdays, and it still feels just as special. Also, keep an eye on their website or sign up for their newsletter--they sometimes offer specials like endless fondue or entrée deals that make the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a meaningful, memorable night out.

Great experience everyone should have! Just in case you're not familiar with fondue, your items are brought out, and you cook them yourself at your table pot. Different courses evolve different items. Breads, veggies, meats, and dessert items. Also, different cooking or dunking methods are prepared in your table pot. All of this is such a fun and entertaining dining experience!

Went to celebrate my god daughter’s birthday! They had a card for her and everything! We had a great time and it was an amazing experience!

Absolutely loved this place! Well worth the experience. One thing I must say negative is my booth was a bit low for the table. Not worried too much about it or I would have asked to sit elsewhere. Other than that it was absolutely amazing.

A fun experience! We've been to this location twice now, each time for our anniversary. Very friendly staff with great attention to detail. Clean location as well with clean bathrooms. We did the 4 course meal for 2 and left totally stuffed. So many food options it's hard to decide in a great way. Important to add here they even have vegetarian and vegan options! Highly suggest this place if you are looking for a date night or a fun get together with some friends! The booths create a great private feel which also limits the sound pollution of other parties around you.

We had an PERFECT experience!! We did the four-course dinner for dinner. There was plenty of food way more than we could eat. Wendy L was our waitresses and did a amazing job explaining everything to us. This was our first time there. She did an amazing job all the way around it made for an great experience. I would highly recommend asking for her!!......oh I'm gluten free and they had a ton of options even gluten free bread 😁 and a amazing macaroons. Definitely get them!!

150% recommend. This place is always fabulous! From the drinks down to the last bite. We went this time for our late anniversary dinner, and our sever, Maddie, was a doll. She was beyond sweet and cracking us up. They offer a wide range of options for glutten free to everything in between. This is a wonderful restaurant, and I'm glad we have one in the upstate.

Fantastic time at the Melting Pot tonight. Food and fondue was really good, service was amazing. Cheese fondue was good, but way too much bread and not enough veggies to start, still, we had a great time.

This was the most fun experience, I did the BFFF special and got the 4 course dinner. Cooking the food was super fun and delicious. Our server was awesome and knew the menu very well he took his time explaining everything and was super chill and professional. Plan on spending some time there, this is not an experience that should be rushed. I totally recommend this place!!!

This was an awesome experience. We went here for restaurant week so they had limited item menu selections. For the starter we had the cheese fondue (old bay and loaded potato). We got shrimp, chicken, steak, potstickers, and tons of vegetables for the main course. For dessert we had the candy bar fondue and bananas foster. If you are looking for somewhere quick this is not a good choice as we were there for 3 hours from start to finish. We did make a reservation which I would recommend. Prices were good for the amount of food. Restaurant provided a very cozy environment and was clean.

My husband and I were celebrating this past weekend. Our server was a very pleasant young lady named "T" she was super sweet and helpful. She recommended some amazing options, as this was both of our 1st time at a fondue. We ordered the bigger night out with some add ons as well as a bottle of Moscato. Our bill was near $200, and the experience was awesome! We enjoyed our visit. If we come back to Greenville we will definitely stop again! Thanks "T" you rock!

Went here for the first time for our anniversary and we were blown away! Very romantic atmosphere, and one of the coolest experiences at a restaurant we've ever had. From getting a bouquet of roses with our meal to being able to cook your own food was amazing. If you go id definitely ask for Read if hes working. His recommendations were perfect! All in all 11 out of 10.

This was our first time at Melting Pot, and what an experience it was! Alisa A. was our server, and she was absolutely amazing – the best service I’ve had at a sit-down restaurant in a very long time! The food overall was great. The only reason I would give it a 3* instead of 5* was likely operator error. However, when we come back, we now know what we like and can be better prepared. The atmosphere was excellent – the ambient music was relaxing, the lighting and general vibe were refreshing and inviting in an intimate way. Had a great anniversary dinner! I cannot stress enough how Alisa made the whole night excellent. She even brought us a very sweet anniversary dessert and lit candles for us!

As long as we've heard of The Melting Pot, this was only our second time to go here. What a treat! Such a unique experience. My favorites we're fresh hot foods. Makes sense since you cook them yourself. This just adds to the experience. Plus the sauces are all good. We had 4 courses. We like wine, so the wine flights fit perfectly. It's really nice how they've paired the wine with the different courses. Our server, Charlisa, was very attentive and helpful in making new choices. The salmon was outstanding, but it all was very good. We really like going at lunch. When we do, we skip breakfast. You need an empty stomach so you can enjoy it all. Plus at noon, it's like you have the place to yourself. Not as busy. This is one of our new favorites! It's like a complete new dining experience, unlike anywhere we've ever been. Give it a try.

Caroline A. was the most amazing waitress!! So sweet and amazing. We had a big group for my brothers birthday and she handled our chaos with absolute grace!! Would absolutely ask for her next time

Loved the atmosphere. Lady working the bar was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about everything from the wine to the food. All of the food was delicious. I loved the cheese and chocolate, meats were also good but I didn't care for having to cook my food. In a large group with only two burners we were there for a little over 3 hours although we did have a lovely time with our group. My preference aside, I loved it and recommend it. My next visit I think I would prefer going for just the wine, cheese, charcuterie board and chocolate.

Our family of 5 dined here for a special family dinner. Our server was Zoe and she was outstanding (ask for Zoe when you make your reservation). We ordered from the gluten-free offerings and everything was so delicious! Here's what we enjoyed, and would highly recommend: Cheese Fondue: Wisconsin Cheddar and Spinach Artichoke (included gluten-free bread) Salads: Melting Pot House (gluten-free didn't have croutons) Entree: The Classic and Steak Lovers with Court Bouillon and Mojo (subbed a few meats for gluten-free ones, no problem) Chocolate: Flaming Turtle and Yin & Yang (included gluten-free brownies and cookies) ** Melting Pot is expensive but the experience and food are so worth it.

WOW!! My sweet fiancé brought me here for our three year anniversary, and I can't believe I'm not dreaming. Meadow was our hostess, she was absolutely such a kind light that made sure we were smiling, eating well, and enjoying our anniversary dinner. Petals, chocolate covered strawberries, a note from the staff, and the most BEAUTIFUL bouquet I got to bring home!! This has been beyond my wildest dreams, and my love said staff made everything so easy. We will be back 🤎

The drinks and food were all amazing. The server is what made the night, though. I'm pretty sure he said his name was "Reed". His help with flavor suggestions, his conversation, and just overall attitude was the most memorable. We will definitely be coming back!

From the atmosphere , service , quality and taste of the food I most definitely recommend dining here . It was a romantic yet relaxing experience to prepare your own food and to enjoy the many flavors / options they offer .

A fantastic meal. Plentiful steak. Shrimp fish and chicken. Bread and cheese with vegetables for dipping. The desserts were so good! Fun time cooking food with friends. The staff was great.

My friend and I dined here last summer. We had such a great time! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Parking was somewhat confusing since it’s a busy area, but we used the adjacent parking lot without any trouble.

This place was awesome! It was a fantastic date night spot and my wife and I both enjoyed our entire visit. The food, while expensive, was definitely worth the experience. It offered a lot of options and all of them were delicious. You cook the main entrée in a hot-pot style broth and the vegetables and other “dippers” go in for as long or little as you like. We got the yin and Yang chocolate for dessert and it was mind blowing! My ONLY Complaint, if you can even call it that, was that the service was a bit slow. We got there and the restaurant was mostly empty but it filled up pretty quick. I understand that it can get pretty busy, but I did have to go and track down another waiter to get a missing item from my wife’s dish because ours was nowhere to be found. She was very nice and really made a great setting for us, but would just disappear for long stretches without checking in. Other than that, it was an experience I would recommend to anyone. But be prepared to drop some major $$$ on this meal! While it’s delicious and worth every penny for the experience, it will definitely lighten your wallet. Check it out for yourself!!

Love the melting pot!!! Such a fun experience. The cheese and green apples didn't know there could be something that addicting but wow so good. The meal was fantastic but lets be honest the chocolate is my favorite!! ;) Girls night is a must here!!!

I love this place. Every time I’ve been, their food and service were excellent. I went last night on first date and had not been a hot minute. Aiden our server was excellent, very polite and very patient with us. The entire staff impressed. The food was excellent and the portions were plenty. I Look forward to going back soon. A+.

Melting Pot for girls' happy hour, sounds good! We got there at 5 and hit the bar. They have half-price cheese/chocolate fondue during happy hour! Plus, a fall margarita menu with $5 margaritas! Tim and Savannah were awesome. They made us great drinks, knew their stuff about the food, and were super friendly! We had a few more people join, so they gave us a table! Every first Monday, they do ladies' night with a 4-course meal and two cocktails for $48. We did that and loved it! It was a great deal, and we left feeling full, happy, and warm! Good job Melting Pot Greenville! We will definitely be back! Halloween decorations are on point! It looked incredible upon arrival!

Excellent overall experience. It was very nice how they acknowledged our anniversary. The only thing that wasn't five stars was that it was not really an intimate experience. The interior was just like most other restaurants. In the past, Melting Pot used to be darker and more cozy. Otherwise, everything was awesome!

One of my favorite meal experiences! I have been to many over the years in different areas and this one is a good one! Cheese fondue is fantastic and the dessert chocolate with nuts is the best!! Great for dinner conversations with friends and loved ones.

My husband and I LOVE new food experiences.  It was our first time eating here. First and foremost, Caroline C was absolutely AMAZING.  She explained the menu in detail and with all honesty.  She gave her honest opinion based on her experiences with some of the menu items and cooking styles.  She had us laughing and feeling confident that we had a server that was knowledgeable and genuinely friendly.  We had the "Bigger Night Out For Two"  which came with (salmon, center cut filet, lobster tail, shrimp, and mushroom ravioli, and vegetables).  Due to choosing the grill cooking style Caroline suggested a substitute for the ravioli stove that wouldn't do well on the grill and we opted for the teriyaki steak. Our favorites were the lobster tail and the teriyaki steak. It's saying A LOT about the lobster tail being that I'm not the biggest fan of lobster. Another fave was the chocolate fondue which we both agreed was way better than the cheese fondue. Ultimately, I gave the food a 3 because it was good but not really worth the price in my opinion. The price is essentially for the entire experience and that was worth it. Especially because my husband paid a little extra for the Romance Package which provided me intimate seating which is extremely important on a date night. I will definitely go back and try it again even if it's just for drinks and the chocolate fondue alone.

It was definitely a place id go to again. It was quiet and the ambience was pleasant. We got the 4 course meal which was fantastic! Im not too fond of chocolate so they allowed me to get two cheese pots. Yum! Got the recommended yellow cheese that tasted great with the wine and the garlic pairing. They charge for more cheese but allowed more dippers. The salad was delicious if a bit too much dressing. The entree was also quite suprisingly tasty as we didnt know we were to dip it in a pot. We got the mojo as per our lovely waitresses recommendation. It has a slight bitter smell but the citrus/refreshing taste more than made up for it. 4 stars tho for the silverware being absolutely dirty... I had to use my partner's fork, i was shocked owo. The waitress we had was kind although a tad tense but she was still awesome! I really enjoyed this experience and would recommend it.

First time to the Melting Pot and definitely won't be the last Folks 😁 Selections are incredible and the Staff are so happy to help with your selections. We went with the Three Course Special for Two. Now it definitely is too much food but hey we hadn't been there. Well the Meal included Salad, Entree and Dessert. We were there for almost 3 hours so it not a Quick meal. Our Server was absolutely wonderful and helpful 👏👏👏It is not Cheap but the quality and quantity makes it Worth it!

4.5 Stars It's always a treat to visit for a special occassion. The service has been exceptional every time. Make sure you book ahead to reserve a booth because the tables just don't offer the same ambiance. So far, every fondue that I've tasted has been excellent. The dippers are hit or miss. Some are definitely better than others. The meats all seem to be very high quality. And the cocktails are great. It's very expensive, but definitely an experience worth having for a special night out. Or just come for dessert.

My wife had never had The Melting Pot experience; our anniversary was on February 14th, (yesterday.) I booked one month in advance for 6:30 PM for the Diamond Valentine's package. We arrived and checked in with the hostess. Valentine's Day collectively at a fine dining restaurant is going to be busy expectedly. However, they were running behind getting patrons seated. At 6:45 PM, I asked how much longer and the hostess said they were about 15 minutes behind which they should inform everyone when they arrive but did not happen. At 7:00 PM, I went and asked again. I was told there were two couples ahead of us. When we were the second to last still waiting, I inquired as to why we weren't seated yet. The hostess said a private booth had come available but there was a "more" private booth they wanted to give us. All in all, it was approximately 7:20 PM when we were taken to the private booth to the right of the restrooms, next to their "Valentine's photo booth," (a free standing display with white and gold balloons arranged in the shape of hearts.) There was NOTHING private about this booth because every single person that passed by the opening were staring as they passed, (this includes staff.) The food was good and our server Kylie, (that may not be the way she spells it.) was absolutely AMAZING. She spent a lot of time checking in with us in between serving the food. Management take note: do whatever you need to and keep her happy. Thank you Kylie!

The visit was a combo celebration (birthday/Valentines). I appreciate the subtitle celebration of just a birthday card and not the loud attention of staff singing. Reservations were made for first thing on Saturday at noon. The temperature inside seemed too cold for my liking. Seating options were not offered (booth vs table)  Booths are too low and was difficult to view the fondue area for me.  Although there is handicap parking available, the women's restroom only had two stalls - neither were handicap accessible. The lobster bisque was tasty but salty and the temperature was barely lukewarm. Given this was our first time experience, the cooking options were presented to us and we chose the oil method when we should have stuck with our original choice for the cast iron grill due to the cooking time frame was longer. The non-alcoholic champagne was ok but the husband did not like the alcoholic champagne (too dry for his taste).  I enjoyed the swiss cheese and pesto cheese but the husband did not.  I enjoyed the cobb salad but the husband did not like the dressing. The cupid's combo entrée gave a variety of different meats which had a nice flavor but the shared lobster tail was not cleaned properly (entrails not removed) which surprised me since the shrimp was cleaned. We both enjoyed the Almond bliss with the fruit more than the sweet treats (rice crispy treats, brownies, cookies, and marshmallow) . At the end of the dinner, total with included gratuity was $182 and that was with water beverages. Isaac , our server, was very good at his service and information.  Would I return? probably not, the novelty was interesting to experience but we would have preferred using the cost at a Morton's Steakhouse. Would I recommend?  You have to experience before you know what you enjoy .

My first time at one of these! Was pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the place. It could use a good deep clean in the booths and carpet replaced or at least washed. The bathrooms were clean but outdated. I understand this location has been around for a while. The staff was extremely friendly and the desert was out personal favorite. I didn’t feel that for the price it was enough food for filling bit rather tasting. I’d go again but just for desert. The cheese and meat wasn’t amazing like I had expected.

We've been to the melting pot a half a dozen times, in three or four cities. This experience was much, much different than the rest. It was fine, but, not "the melting pot." We only got dessert and coffee, but there is an expectation that when you're going to spend $40 on dessert for two people, it is to be exceptional. Walking in the front door, we knew that this location was much different than the others. It was much brighter and less professional, less romantic than the other locations. From the bright orange sweater at the hostess stand, to the mall food courtesque feel of half of the restaurant, we were very surprised. It's rare to think of Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach South Carolina as being the swanky, sophisticated locations, but they are night and day different from this location. The chocolate was fine (plain dark chocolate). The coffee was lukewarm. The atmosphere was okay once we got to our table. The service was fine, though, bringing the check out at the same time as our order made the experience feel rushed and more like a waffle house on a busy Saturday than a high dollar dessert. It's fine, but for $40 it was disappointing. I wouldn't suggest this location, though, the brand is still top notch.

So to begin I personally had book the valentines dinner for 6 people (3x couples). Reservations were confirmed and we were sat down. Mind you this was our first time to the Melting Pot, we were sat down at a table that holds 6 but only had 2 burners. So that’s where our night begins with the problems, because we only had 2 burners all of us had to make sure we all agreed on only 2 options for cheeses, 2 options for the main dish, and only 2 dessert chocolate choices. From there we struggled with our burners staying on because the outlet was physically broken, the waitress brought duck tape to hold the plug in. Our whole experience took 4 hrs to complete. We waited the longest just to get our final desert tray that took 45 min to get. 1 in our party kept getting dirty silverware on top of that. The final bill had 20% gratuity added without choice and yes because we waited we were docked 26$ for the wait but that was only AFTER they got their 20% from the total bill. Me and my wife paid 216$ for a partial meal and mind you the other 2 couples paid the exact same (200$) and yet we all got a partial/shared dinner. No we are not pleased and I would never recommend the Melting Pot just from this 1 time because we all felt because we were limited to making sure we all were ok with choosing some of the same things the last thing we noticed was that 6 people were present 6x meals were purchased yet we only received service for 4 because we had to share the 2 pots so we were completely screwed on desert because we didn’t get 3x couples desert because at least 2 of us shared out of each pot. And FYI if you have any food allergies PLEASE BEWARE THE FOOD COMES TOUCHING EACH OTHER.

Terrible experience. Made reservations, had to wait. Got seated in an incredibly uncomfortable table which had a seriously low seat and high table top. Whatever... there was NOBODY on our side of the restaurant. 10 minutes of waiting after getting water and our waitress was nowhere to be found. Sorry if I'm going to drop 150 with tip on a dinner for two - I DEMAND decent service. We walked out... I won't be going back again. I've been to 6 different melting pots and this one by far has nonexistent service

We sat at the bar before our party and the bartender was amazing! However, it went downhill fast after that. Our party was set for 5:30. The servers were really nice and explained everything perfectly, however it took an extremely long time to get the drinks we ordered at the table (mind you we were literally right beside the bar) and the food is endless but took 30+ minutes for more food. We got our desert course at 9:30pm. I have never spent 5hrs in a restaurant. I will not be going back.

S

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. Just awful. 30 minutes over the “reserved table” time and even got there 15 minutes early. When I was finally seated, was seated at the literal smallest corner seat with non-movable table or chairs. Decided to take our business elsewhere after being sat. Just an overall bad customer experience.
