This was my first experience visiting this establishment. I really enjoyed it. Everything was great! The environment was clean and elegant, the food was a little pricey but absolutely worth it and our waiter was fabulous! He even brought me a Duck for my drink after learning I love Ducks! This was a fun experience! I recommend giving this establishment a GO.
Five-Star Review for Alexia – Amazing Service on My Son’s Birthday! We had such a wonderful experience during our recent visit, and I have to give a special shoutout to our waitress, Alexia. It was my son’s birthday, and she went above and beyond to make it truly special. Most servers might just drop off the dessert and move on, but Alexia took the time to sing Happy Birthday with me to my son – all on her own. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that meant a lot to both of us. Her kindness, attention to detail, and genuine smile made our visit memorable. Alexia didn’t just provide great service – she created a moment we’ll always remember. Thank you for making my son’s day so special!
Excellent service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. We had burgers and fries and the flavor was outstanding. The meat was well seasoned and perfectly cooked, the bun was soft and tasty. The iced tea was very fresh, and fries were hot and crispy. I love the high ceilings and warm, rich colors of the furnishings in this restaurant. The nice big screen TVs strategically placed around the restaurant make this a good place to watch a game. I highly recommend this restaurant.
First time in town and decided to stop here after flying all day. We came in late a little after 10 and they close at 11. Wait staff was very friendly and extremely attentive. She kept asking if we we ok. We got the margarita flight which was very delicious and had four different kinds of cocktails. And also got the cheese surfs as an appetizer which tasted good. It was a little salty but still good. I got the fresh Atlantic salmon for the main course and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Paying via the website was very easy and fast. I wish there was an Apple Pay option next time. Overall a great experience.
Great service. Great food. We have visited this location a few times and have always had a great experience. The establishment is clean and has a trendy vibe. The servers are always friendly and our orders have always been right (big plus!). We've visited other BJ's locations throughout the country and have never had a bad meal. We love their crafted sodas. I ordered fish tacos and they were perfect! My husband ordered pizza and said it was outstanding (he's picky ya'all so this says a lot!) My adult sons were with us and ordered burger and shrimp tacos and said they were amazing. We'll definitely visit this location again. It's quickly become our go to place for celebrating birthdays, graduations, and other important events.
This place was amazing! They have a gluten-free broccoli and cheddar soup. They also have a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie dessert that was amazing as well. Our server, Lance, was most knowledgeable on food allergies and took precaution with our food each step of the way. I highly recommend eating here!!
It has been awhile since my wife and I sat down at a restaurant and a had a completely wonderful experience. Last night at BJ's was fantastic! I had the 3 course Prime Rib dinner and my wife had the Salmon. Everything was delicious! BRAVO!!!
I don’t usually leave reviews but we got this ANGEL of a server Mason. He was extremely kind and patient with us and overall understanding. Also, he engaged with us very well and matched our humor. There wasn’t a point where we weren’t laughing when he was around. He was just so amazing!!! :)
Allah was a great server. The food was delicious. Of course you can't beat the pazookie!!
We had an excellent experience thanks to our server Brianna . She was attentive, efficient, and genuinely kind the entire time. Even with the restaurant being busy, she stayed organized, communicated clearly, and made sure everything was taken care of. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and it really shows. Management should be proud to have her on the team.
We are here today, had a wonderful waitress (Alex) we had 2 smash burgers and the fried macroni balls and a pazookie. We enjoyed it all, food was cooked perfectly, was out fast, service was warming and enviting, only issue we had was at the end. I’m not one to carry cash on me, so i’m using upside to pay and i tried 3 times to pay using their preferred method by my phone, as i went in to pay i would put in the tip amount then when it would process the gift card it only would pay for the meal. so we waited 10 min until we saw alex next and advised our concern that we want to ensure she gets a tip so she ran up another bill with 1$ on it so i could pay it while adding the tip on and again it takes my tip off and pays only for the 1$. We couldn’t wait any longer we felt terrible we couldn’t empty the purchased gift card to her but some reason the payment system has a flaw in it with tipping.
It’s not often you get the level of service we received here in a casual restaurant. Tucker really embodies hospitality and was the perfect level of attentive. The food was great but we’d come back for the service alone.
On Friday we came here and had such a great experience thanks to our waitress Brianna! She was incredibly kind, patient, and professional, and handled everything with a smile. You can tell she truly cares about her guests. Please recognize her—she’s a gem!
Our server Britney was amazing! She was so friendly and engaging with our table. She joked around with us and I could really tell that she loves what she does. As for food, it's always great! Large portions and great drinks to go with the meals.
Just wanted to shout out our server, Brianna K., because she handled our table really well. She was efficient, friendly, and professional, and clearly on top of her section even when it got busy. Everything went smoothly, and that doesn’t happen by accident. Please pass this along to management she deserves recognition.
Allie, the dining manager at BJs, goes above and beyond to serve her guests! We catered a Christmas party for around 40 professionals and Allie made the ordering process seamless from start to finish. She listened to our needs, guided us through our options, helped us make the right choice, and communicated beautifully. The tri tip steak and Sal's chicken with sides were all delicious and transported well. Allie leads an amazing team at BJs and we are so grateful for her TOP-NOTCH SERVICE!
Never been a big fan of this restaurant but my experience tonight has changed my mind! Ate at the Greenwood location and my servers name was Shaylynn. Outstanding service! So good I will now be a regular!
We love coming here to eat. The other day our server, Alexia, was the best we’ve yet to have. She was so kind and prompt. Good service is hard to come by these days so BJ’s did a great job hiring her.
Hello! I made the mistake of posting a review to this restaurant that was for somewhere else. I want to correct that. We came and, was greeted promptly and sat in a corner booth. The hostess greeted us in a timely manner. Our waiter appeared to be a little overwhelmed but she was nice. The food was awesome. I have not been here before. It took a little longer than I expected to get our food but it was very good.
We met friends there for Monday night half price pizza. The pizza and adult drinks were excellent. There were 5 of us in our party. Service was very good as well. The only issue is was the temperature it was uncomfortably cold. While I enjoy air conditioning management needs to make sure that it doesn’t feel like you are sitting in a refrigerator. There were a number of people around us that also complained about the temperature.
Great place! Food is delicious. But, deep dish should be renamed thick crust. Great BBQ chicken "deep dish" and save room for dessert. Will return on next business trips as the restaurant and staff are terrific.
Once we were finally acknowledged, our server was great. We haven’t been in about a year. Somethings different. Two in our party got the jambalaya - both said it wasn’t the same they’d had before. One person got parmesan encrusted chicken and SHE said it was different. THEN mine comes out - spicy peanut chicken w/soba noodles. It was definitely different - sauce so runny it looked like soup. My broccoli was 90% stems - yuk - The sauce had good flavor but it was nothing like I’d ever had before. Very disappointing. Come on BJ’s - $140 later we are filled but not satisfied.
So, my wife and I went out to eat due to a boil water advisory in our area. We decided on BJ's Brewhouse, as we've never been before. We were seated very quickly and had our drink orders taken right then. We looked around and it seemed to have a decent layout. It was a Tuesday night, so it wasn't that busy and we could hear both the music and our conversation. We ordered the pretzel with beer cheese and fried couscous for apps. The pretzel was tasty and the cheese was beer-y. The fried couscous was decent, but not worth the price paid. I also bought a beer, which was pretty tasty. As for the entrées, my wife got the small pizza special with the pizzokie (sp?), and I got the bbq bacon burger. The pizza was tasty but reminded her of an old-school pizza from the Book-it program at Pizza Hut. My burger was okay.. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out well done. Not angry, but if I'm asked about a temperature, I expect it to come out as I want. I got the onion rings as a side and they were both crunchy and wet at the same time. For the approx. $3.50 upcharge, i expected more than 5 rings. Very strange. The pizzokie (sp?) was tasty though! Overall, the atmosphere was great and the service was decent. The food was not worth the price paid. For a first time, it was not really that memorable and we probably would go somewhere else.
Our waitress was amazing she was super nice. It was pretty busy when we came at 530 on Saturday. Most the food came out at a decent time but was room temp. Our table ordered the mozzarella sticks which were just a bit warm and the marinara was the best I've had and piping hot. The queso was amazing as well 3 people ordered the slow roasted sirloin and shrimp sides were forgotten but brought when asked for. I had the the prime rib weekend special and about half of it was all fat and it was also only warm but the loaded potato and mozzarella salad were amazing. The sauces that came with it were also forgotten but brought when asked about as well. The special came with a pizzookie but we unfortunately had to leave with out it due to a time constraint. Overall the food was good the problem was the temp and missing items. the waitress was apologetic saying the food was just grabbed from the window by the runners so she wasn't aware what happened. We understand these things can happen and will be eating here again
Slow service. Dining room wasn’t even 1/4 filled, and it took forever to get our food. Server barely acknowledged us. Once the check was dropped off, we didn’t see him again. Hostess was curt in her dealings with others and us. No employee smiled the entire time we were there.
I was there on January 10 2026 and it was a long wait time like 40 to 50 minutes. I had to use the bathroom and there were no toilet paper in non of the stalls so I had to find someone so I can get some. Then when we were finally seated the area we were in had so many available spaces and empty seats me and my daughter was wondering why it took so long to be seated. The area was very cold and once I got my steak and baked potato it got cold really quick. My daughter was so cold she didn’t even eat her food. This was my second time going here and my first experience was the best.
Came in for a nice Black Friday lunch. Got there and they said there would be a 20 minute wait. We got seated fairly quickly and ordered our food and drinks for a in and out kind of meal. Got 3/4 of our drinks and had to wait for the other one then got the wrong drink. We finally got our drink and food then had to wait for the bill. Asked for a to go box three times and still never got it after spending $20 on the meal! Asked to speak to the manager and she was extremely impolite and continued to roll her eyes and walk away from our table! As well as going to other customers and talking about our being upset! They had the bartender working a section along with all the restaurants drinks the poor girl was shaking she so stressed absolutely not her fault she was very polite and apologized for the whole thing. They were severely understaffed and didn’t even have a dish washer! The manager on the other hand was very unprofessional and disrespectful. In total we spent 2 hours there for terrible service and disrespect.
No pictures this time, not worthy of taking. Sevrr brought drinks, didn't ask if we wanted appetizers, i did want some, but she took off and ik it was at least 20 minutes before she came back. Husband specifically asked for dry top bun, server even repeats it. I requested extra fettuccine sauce, seriously looked like it was barely drizzled with some. She came back with a decent sz, by then it was cold. So I requested a to go container and thought, "well I have room for a pazookie" I requested a small sz. Server asked for here or Togo. "For here plz", tik tok tik tok... more than 20 minutes later I was served with a full sz in a smashed up togo foil container. (which means cookie washed smashed) Server puts it on the table, says, "ik you wanted small for here, but ya got the big one like this and walked away. P.S- As we we're waiting, several minutes (no other customers waiting to be seated), at the hostess desk, her head to be greeted and seated, the hostess head was down, (again several minutes), something startled her, she looks over, then back down, didn'tevensee us, lol, i said "excuse us, she looked up and said, "I'm srry, I was taking a drink of my pop"! Then a Server comes up to seat us, another customer comes to, saying "worst service ever had, manager said he'd come by the table, never saw him". Guess we should have taken that as a warning sign! *Efit, I do want to add that i was contacted by BJ's and offered a $40 gift card to apologize for prior experience. I have yet to receive it, but I do want to recognize that they acknowledged my review. *Edit 9/24/2025, I received the gift card. And I will add the exceptional customer service and communication updates the provided. We look forward to revisiting, (possibly a different location). Ty Rachel
You won't see me in a BJ's anytime soon... 😵 First, they gave us dirty plates for our appetizer. Thought the plates were styled to look like white marble but then literally just wiped the black/grey off of them. We notified our server, and he got us new plates right away, but that should never have happened in the first place. Second, I know you shouldn't order spaghetti at a non-Italian restaurant, but even so, what they served me was a crime. Noodles were not cooked right and had a mushy, gritty texture and the red sauce was flavorless. I was so shocked I had my partner taste it as well just to check if something was wrong with my taste buds. No, just not seasoned. Left most of the pasta untouched and left the to-go box at the table. My partner also remarked that his burger was not great. He said it looked like the restaurant uses frozen beef patties... The only reason the review is a 2-star instead of 1 is for the wings we ordered as an appetizer and the pizookie dessert. Those were decent.
Our meals took a full hour to arrive at our table from the time we placed our orders; so be ready for a wait. Our waitress did not check on our group or refill drinks more than once. My order was not made as it was described with tomatoes and parsley. (Tasted like buttered noodles with shrimp) ( I ordered the shrimp scampi) Based on the fact that three people at our table ordered the same item I must assume it was all prepared together and then divided onto each bowl leaving much to be desired. After two bites I asked Sarah to return it to the kitchen and she did not offer an exchange for another item nor ask what could be done to fix my order she simply removed the plate. When the receipt was dropped the meal was still on our check; management did remove the item and I tipped the removed amount to our waitress. Overall the experience was lackluster I have no intentions on returning to this particular BJs. The main area was nice and the host was very kind. Visited Saturday afternoon 3/9/24
I normally have amazing experiences here but our last visit was pretty awful. I brought my brother here to celebrate his birthday and we ordered nachos to share… the waiter came and made a noise of confusion as he put them on the table… it was only after he left that we realized the nachos were way over cooked and had virtually no chicken on them. The vast majority of the chips were inedible so we asked for a new order and our waiter was like yeah, I saw how they liked when I brought them; no apology whatsoever. Naturally we had to wait another 15 minutes which was fine but by then we were without drink refills or checked in at all. The next order was much better but I can’t help but think that if the waiter knew they were bad the first time, why serve them? We then got an pizookie and we’re told he’d swing by after we looked to see what kind we wanted and we waited another 15 minutes for him to even come back. All in all, we ended up being there 1.5 hours for nachos and a pizookie when they were virtually dead. Definitely will have me rethinking coming here next time.
We have came here dozens of times throughout it's opening in greenwood. We came here on Tuesday for my mother's 70th birthday. We ordered and waited 45 minutes to get four salads a pretzel and cheeseburger. We asked the server to bring the salads with the pretzel for our dinner but it didn't happen. Salads out first by another staff member. The pretzel was cold and cheese had sat and got a dark film on the top. Burger had maybe 20 fries with it.. So disappointed and to think they charged 80.00 for this sad meal. No need to complain when your starving and they send the meal late. Seen the manager twice but never checked on anyone while we were there. Go elsewhere
My requested well-done bacon cheeseburger was pink inside and a fraction on the bun size, plus didn't come with the advertised special sauce. The fries were great and the waitress was attentive.
Granted we had a large group but service was extremely slow. I ordered the prime rib special as did my dad. I ordered medium and my dad ordered medium well. Both came out very well done (over cooked). I sent mine back and 20 minutes later I had a much better steak that was pink throughout. My dad ate his but it was so bad he covered it in ketchup. Sides on several kid plates were wrong. End of meal pizookies were also slow in coming. My wife had enough time to go down the street to dollar tree for some diapers and returned just in time for them to arrive.
I came to this restaurant last Saturday (1/17/26) around 5:45/6pm. The place was overall crowed, it was a 45min to a 1hour wait to sit 2 ppl. We waited in the sitting area by a door (which I would think they would have locked due to the cold weather). It felt like there was no heat in the entire building. We finally got seated around 7:00 or so, and it was freezing cold where we was sitting. We ordered our food and drinks but didn’t have any silverware. We received our drinks and appetizers and placed our dinner order. When we received our food it was NOT HOT AT ALL! The food was cold. I took my food to go to eat it at home. I shared this with some one else in my home and the next day they got food poisoning from the steak. I am not sure if the steak was cooked properly or if it was a bad steak overall because I ended up getting sick the following day. I do not appreciate the long wait time for 2 ppl was up to an hour and when we got seated there was 5 booths open for seating. I’m disappointed in my food being brought out to me as if my food was just sitting and it was all lukewarm and not steamy hot. I have never had this experience before coming here until that day! No happy!! The weather outside below 10 degrees and no heat on, even in the seating area. Very disappointed because I’m sure they known the weather outside. I spent over $70 and gave a tip when I shouldn’t have with the disappointment of my food being served to us cold. ***update 2/24/26**** BJs ask to email them, which I did. It’s been a month and they have not responded back to my review experience. Do the email even work that yall sent? And no one has responded back at all. Do yall care about customer experiences? To me you all can not if it’s been over a month and no email response back!
The food was all over cooked and dry. The server forgot things as well as the cook. Had ask to make it right. We weren’t offered a substitute for sides they were out of. They just gave it to us without. Thank goodness we noticed so we did pay for what we didn’t get. It took longer than expected to get our meal. Over all we decided we would not ever go back nor would we recommend it. But we will let others know it’s not a good place to go.
Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night around 7PM. While the restaurant was only about half full, we waited over an hour for our entrees. Tables seated after us had already been served and our waiter “wasn’t really sure what happened” with our food. When the food finally arrived, my wife’s soup was barely warm and the other dishes were nowhere near good enough to justify an hour wait. I can’t imagine how bad this place could be during a busier dinner service. Overall, a disappointing experience after having decent meals here in the past. We were comped a free beer and 1/2 off our appetizer, but we don’t plan to return; it’s not worth it. There are plenty of other great options in the area (especially the local non-chain breweries). This restaurant needs to step it up.
This is my first time being able to have BJs, I tried a few months back but we waited an hour for food and finally said we're done and left. So today my boyfriend and I decided to try it again, give them a second chance. Wrong choice. We got sat and had to wait 15 minutes to be seen and our drink orders taken. When our waiter, who seemed bored and over the day, finally took our order we didnt see him again until ten minutes later to check on us. He left again and then we waited for another 15 to 20 minutes for our food. The resturant wasnt busy by any means and I am perfectly fine with waiting especially if it is but our waiter didnt check on us but twice and I watched as he walked past his other tables as well as us! Once we were done eating we sat and waited for another 20-25 minutes for hopefully boxes and the check but our waiter was no where in site. Again the restaurant wasnt busy at all! There were only at most ten other families there and only three of those tables were ones that he was serving. The food was good but was not worth the wait at all. Ambiance was fine but the attitudes of the workers just ruined the whole mood. I am never one to write reviews especially one like this, I understand these jobs and appreciate them but to that point it is just ridiculous. I would hate to see what it would be like during rush hour. We will not be coming back after all of this.
SEE UPDATED REVIEW BELOW Not pleased at all, was seated and ordered drinks. My boyfriend‘s alcoholic drink had a literal huge fruit fly at the very top of it, and when we complained and said, and obviously pointed it out the waiter that came over, he showed barely any concern and hardly apologized for the matter and then said well we’ll remove it off your tab like that was even a question. We completely left there. Do not eat here they have flies that are served with drinks and disrespectful staff zero stars if we could. So BJs Brewhouse service team reached out via email stating there Greenwood Location would call in regards to our terrible experience. We are now over a week past with no call or email from there location in regards to the disgusting drinks and terrible service. Goes to show how much they actually care about there customers will no longer be giving my business to any bj brewhouse location do not come here
Service was not great. Took over an hour and 20 min to get our food while only ordering entrees. They forgot the cheese on my chicken parm. The garlic knot was old, cold and hard. The pasta was bad and had no sauce. Also over cooked my partners steak. They had asked for medium and it came out well done. The fries and asparagus where good however. For $70 plus not worth the time to come here
So I just ate here in a party of 10 and probably will not come back actually I know I won't come back. This is a restaurant, not a drive-through. I at least want a basic standard of service when I go eat at a restaurant. All they did was take my order and hand me my food and I'm not really OK with that Which is what I receive in a drive-through McDonald's. At a restaurant, I expect a bit more than that. I expect that after my appetizers are finished that you pick them off the table and remove them when I'm finished with my entrée you pick it up and remove my plate not just keep making me pile everything in the middle of the table in a three stack pile.. They just don't have a standard of service here and I'm not OK with that. Honestly, the servers would make more money if they were top basic service etiquette when I run out of a drink refill it when I'm done eating remove my plate and take it away. I don't wanna pile all these dirty plates and dishes up in the middle of the table I'm going to go back to the restaurant to do do that. I mean, our table was completely a mess by the time we left because nothing got removed. Anything brought to our table was at our table when we left. There was hardly any room for me to be able to eat my dessert. So yeah, I'm not coming back. I tipped you out of the kindness of my heart not because you gave me good service. My food not so great those of us who ordered burgers and fries. The fries came out cold and the burgers were. I would say, medium temperature definitely not hot.. I never got my drink refilled, and there was hardly anyone there I think at the most there were seven tables and there were at least three or four servers. I can understand why this business is going downhill. Yeah, there's no way I'm ever coming back here. I'll just go to cheesecake factory if I'm gonna eat near the Greenwood Park Mall at least they'll pick up my plates and bring me hot food. I'm gonna include a picture of how dirty and nasty our table was because everything was just left on our table. No service whatsoever..
In the past BJ has been really good. This visit was Terrible. Server was missing in action and food service took hours. They ran out of beer. They served burnt hamburger twice and no refills. Soup was cold. Silverware was visibly soiled. This visit was horrific. NO communication on the super slow service and terrible food. NOT going back until they get a new chef and hire staff. NOT worth the money spent.
Stood in the to go area for about 25 min before being acknowledged . Food was cold and very disappointing. No Apologies just handed me my food and walked away. Multiple people gossiping at the host stand . Update I went back to the restaurant because there was an item missing. I kept my cool and just asked them to fix it. They did and as I was walking out, the young man did apologize. He was extremely kind and said they don't have anybody on To go orders today, I really did appreciate him apologizing however the $90 and cold food and the inconvenience was just a little hard to swallow
The management and staff have consistently failed to provide timely communication and lack basic customer service to those dining onsite. Whether understaffed or lack of urgency, several meals here have resulted in long wait at the table for drinks, unfortunate notices of what the kitchen doesn't have, or food that just misses the level of satisfaction for a good dinner.
Family and I went on a Tuesday night and it wasn’t very busy. Service was slow and the food even slower. By the time it arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The whole meal took over 2 hours and a waste of a night. If you plan on coming here just come for pizookies. Don’t waste your time on dinner.
My daughter and I have had great experience with the soup /salad while we are out shopping. But today…should have had a clue when at 12:30 the place was empty. We ordered our usual and Brussels sprouts for appetizer. They were very over roasted and spicey. But the clam chowder was HORRID, sour and rancid. Caesar salad was so wilted and drowned in dressing, we complained and air headed waitress said she would talk to manager asked if I would like a different soup. No manager ever came to our table and waitress never said anything more. We paid and that will be the last time we darken that doorway, should have taken the clue and not sat down. Used to be a good choice.
This was the worst dining experience I have had in a very long time. We chose BJs for lunch as we had 2 small children with us and they have a nice kid's menu. We were seated promptly, but then waited way too long to order and 90 minutes for our food to arrive. It all arrived cold except for kid's chicken tenders which were very hot (assuming they held food waiting on tenders). One person didn't get her food, was promised by a manager it would be out in 3 mins and would be comped. It was out in 6 mins and not comped. The kids were over the entire experience and barely ate anything. Drinks were not refilled until we were almost ready to leave. It was a total disaster, and I will not be returning in a long time.
My husband ordered the fish and chips and left pissed and hungry, they were very sad looking and full of scales. Service was mediocre waiting 5mins just for the Cole slaw that came with my meal. Fry’s were cold. We were so disappointed that we just wanted to pay and leave. The food was definitely not worth the almost $80.00 that I spent. You can get better fish at long John silvers.
Ordered take out for curbside delivery they forgot to bring out pizza, that i had to go in and get, then after my 20 min commute home I realized they also forgot the sweet potato fries that were ordered with my wife's burger, so I had to drive back to get them, when I arrived the counter person was on phone arguing with a customer about another togo order that was missing food. They did give me The fries, after I had to wait so now im eating cold food due to poor service. I wouldn't waste my time here again the food isn't worth it.
I just spent 10 minutes waiting on a server David come get my drink order. And then another 5 minutes and she still hasn't come back with my drink order yet. So I walked out. I've never been in a BJ's Brewhouse before and by this experience I'll never go in there to eat again. I've been told by a lot of friends to go in there and eat because the food was really good but now from my experience I'm going to tell my friends to quit coming in too.
