it's McDonald's. no Michelin stars here. just lots of hard working people. clean restaurant. definitely up to standards.

My first Radio Release was at this McDonalds. It is called Rebel With A Kickstand by Rihanna. HS

We usually go for coffee and soda either walk-in or drive through. People are nice and good is hot and great.

My son loves this place!

I've always had good service using mobile order and pick up. Items always ready upon arrival.

Never have I had such fantastic customer service at a McDonalds. Every worker was friendly and thorough and well as efficient. Establishment was clean even the bathrooms. It’s nice to have service like that. Keep it up McDonalds on Grand Ave, you guys are excelling in what “customer Service” should be..... and as for food, well it’s still fast food but I can say it was fresh, hot and ready. Saturday morning service can’t be beat. Thanks.

It's McDonald's...they were very busy but staff did an excellent job of moving orders. We had dine in and were a large party. Oatmeal was made with fruit in it by mistake and they replaced it quickly and without a problem.

I love this Mc Donald's. I don't know why exactly. It feels local.

Had to wait for hash browns in parking lot realized while I was waiting that orange juice was water. Young lady who brought order ended up making 3 trips to make it right. She was a trooper.

We travel in a small RV. all over the US and visit a lot of McDonald's restaurants. This was an exceptionally clean restaurant. Service was quick and courteous. I did not check for power outlets or wifi.

The fillet o fish deal is great! 2 for 6! Get them made "Mac" style!

After several visits for takeout, and a couple of large delivery orders, this McDonalds was accurate each time, and included all requested items, condiments, napkins, etc. The App is really good for ordering ahead, and the Kiosks are intuitive and detailed, eliminating the need for human interaction, and miscommunication. EXCELLENT! Had a takeout early lunch order. Prompt, friendly service. Beautiful recent remodel, easy to use kiosk boards, bright display menu. Very clean... I saw 2 employees cleaning the dining room while I waited. This location is an excellent example of what McDonalds should be! Aside from that, there are lots of BUMS☹ around, hanging around the parking lot and occupying the bathrooms.

It's McDonald's, they have the taste crave you want. Just check your order but that's true for all fast food.

Just regular fast foods! Nothing special. Wish they would get more nutritious food and not raise the prices.

It's McDonald's, so don't expect gourmet food. That being said, as far as the fat food here goes, it's ok for what it is. Just BE SURE to double-check your food and beverages once you receive them. I used to always get the wrong things.

Went through drive-thru. Service was great. Easy ordering and personable. Paid at first window and food pick up at 2nd window. Whole time from order to leaving. Less than a minute. Great job staff.

Service is normally very friendly. Disappointed with the fudge oreo mcflurry. There was a small layer of fudge and Oreo on the top and the rest was just soft-serve(no blending).

I would have rated five stars but alas, it was busy and order was wrong however, I understand food service and it wasn't terrible mistake I appreciate everybody who works there and thank you very much

No friendly greeting or thank you. Gries were luke warm which was disappointing because that was maim reason to go to McDonald's that day.

Always ask for your food fresh. I used to work for McDonald's and the food that us sitting in the trays like the hamburger patties have been there for hours. They have timers and as soon as the timers start beeping they are reset without taking out the old food. If you ask for everything fresh they have to make it fresh. It is worth the extra couple of minutes u will have to wait for your food

Slow, nuggets tasted like nothing. I thought the self order menu board was supposed to speed things up. Come on McD, it was faster when you tell the sales person what you want and each item was entered before you finished the word.

It's McDonald's. I don't think there is a lot to expect. I used a kiosk, which worked up until I wanted to pay. So I found myself waiting to confirm my order and pay for it. It was a short wait so no big deal, but a longer wait would have me abandon the mcnuggets and look elsewhere for chicken.

The new steak and egg bagels are wonderful but oily. They nearly stopped offering cashier service, trying to make customers us app or kiosk to order. Very frustrating for elderly or disabled.

It seems every time I go I seem to get warm fries I have to ask for fries that just come out of the fryer so they're hot!!!!

The young lady at the drive thru was very rude 😕 also got to pay for cold, stale fries. Burgers were OK though.

McDonald's About 2 or 3 times a year I decide to eat at McDonald's. Usually it's on those occasions I'm running errands and suddenly realize how I hungry I am.

It isnt a Frap...it is a Frappe! Employees need to be corrected and pronounce the items correctly! Even the managers say it wrong! Plus if I say black coffee, then NO I don't want cream or sugar!

The bathrooms had a code which you have to ask for.

so my husband went out and bought us all dinner tonight and my deluxe crispy chicken sandwich had only the top portion of the bun, it was missing the bottom portion of the bun march 5, 2022 update so a couples of times I've placed orders here, and always have asked for no whip cream, much to my surprise I ended up giving the drink over to my son as I don't like the whip cream, my son doesn't mind it one way or the other but to end up getting on order from them with items missing, or not properly prepared is not very good, I normally place around 30 to 50 dollar orders, guess it's time to find a better restaurant all together

Pretty poor, compared to your average McDonald's. The website menu was wrong, since they didn't actually have the artisan chicken or any salads. To make things worse, the fries were double cooked, making them greasy and too hard.

Not the best in this area at all, service is often lazy, and misses parts of order frequently. That being the only part of consistency as the fry quality often jumps from oversalted, and back to under cooked. Different prices for CHARGED ranch, among other things. I recommend visiting a different McD's in this area for much better service.

Don’t eat at this McDonald’s. They don’t even spread the sauce on sandwiches they leave clumps of mayo,Big Mac sauce etc on the sandwiches they lazy go to Burger King instead

The bathroom needs lots of attention and it's very dirty and stinky.the food was good in the service was good but the place needs a lot of cleaning.

Don't go early took 30 minutes to get 12 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins and a latte several people were taking their orders back because they were wrong

Waited 15 minutes at drive through and I know they weren't closed and no one came to take our order.

Yesterday I ordered 2 unsweetened iced teas. Put straw in one and sucked up hair and slime and white chalky stuff. I’ve been grossed out ever since. I used to get an iced tea there every day...never again.

Very lousy customer service didn't want to take the time to listen carefully of taking our order.we ordered double cheeseburgers 4 of them and they purposely gave us regular cheese burgers. So I don't recommend this place right now do to discrimination on our order

I was overcharged today on a simple order that my untrained cashier couldn't get done right Then the manager found out about it and still overcharged me for the soda that I didn't Ask for Who does the training at these places really?

I was uncomfortable with the menus if it says you could get 2 items for $5.00 and you are trying to order it because you see on the menu and the cashier says no we no longer have that menu. Then why do they have it I say its false advertising. Then you get treated wrong 😔🙁

Horrible! I have had multiple mistakes on orders. They forget stuff when I call for delivery or they send the wrong items. When I call to correct it they always blame the driver, so I’ve gone in person and the manager is completely rude! Then they begin to talk about the customer in Spanish which is completely uncalled for because they are the ones not doing their job correctly. This last time I called out the manager for talking about me in Spanish it caught her off guard and when I went to pay for my food she threw my card back at me. I’m not 100% sure if it is the same lady but if it is she needs to be fired, she is totally unprofessional. As for the rest a the staff they should get trained on customer service. Not going to this location no more.

McDonald’s breakfast has gotten ridiculous. I wanted to get some thing for my five year old and I had to spend almost 6 dollars to buy three pancakes.she’s only gonna eat one and a piece of sausage. you can’t buy a pancake on the side or you can’t get a smaller sizing of pancakes. I asked the gentleman that worked there if I could just get a smaller sizing of pancakes like just buy one pancake or if they had any kids pancakes or any kids meals or anything for breakfast and he said no so I had to buy an adult portion and spend about six dollars when my five year olds only going to eat maybe a third of that. And also for one hash brown now it’s 2.49. I for sure won’t ever be going back to McDonald’s for breakfast. I realize prices go up like the hashbrowns but the fact that they couldn’t accommodate a smaller portion than there’s three pancake meal was ridiculous. I will go elsewhere.

So, this morning I decided to go to this McDonalds after dropping my husband off at work nearby. I usually like this McDonalds because of it's cleanliness, and usually the staff is pretty nice. I decided to go through the drive-thru, to save some time and get my food quick because my tummy was growling. I placed my order, went through, paid for my order, then went to the second window to wait for my food, which was a number 7 (Sausage egg and cheese McGriddle with) with a medium orange juice. Next thing I know the girl hands me a large sweet tea. I tell her that I didn't order that, and that I got a medium orange juice. She looks at me confused and says that I ordered a sweet tea. I stated that I didn't order a sweet tea, it was an orange juice. She then said that if I wanted an orange juice, then I would have to pay the difference. I told her it was ok, I'll take the sweet tea (I'm usually pretty laid back with these things because I worked in food service for 6 years, I know how it gets). She then hands me my food, and as I turn around to say thank you, she tries to hand me a Peppermint Mocha. I told her that I didn't order the mocha, and she looked at me confused and said that I did order the mocha. I stated that I didn't, and that I can't have their mocha's. That's when she stepped aside and the manager came over. Immediately without asking me what was wrong, or asking for the receipt, she started accusing me of ordering these items and that she heard my order over the headpiece. I then showed her my Venti Starbucks cup and stated that I just went to Starbucks to get my own drink, why would I order a Mocha here, right now? Then she interrupted me and insisted that I did order a sweet tea and mocha with my McGriddle. That's when I told her that I'm severely lactose intolerant an I can't have their mocha's, so why would I be ordering a mocha? She interrupted me again and repeated herself, and stated that she heard me order it over the headpiece. I was very shocked of her accusatory actions, to say the least, and I told her no, I didn't order it because I'm severely lactose intolerant, and that wasn't me that she heard on the headpiece. Then she interrupted me AGAIN and repeated herself. This back and forth between her accusations and me trying to defend myself in complete shock, went on for a good five minutes before she even asked me what I ordered. I told her my order, then she demanded that I give her the sweet tea back (which I did). As she was handing me the correct order she stated again that I ordered the Peppermint Mocha and Sweet Tea, and that she heard me over the headpiece, and I told her no, that wasn't me, I'm severely lactose intolerant I can't have their Mocha's. As I was setting my food down, that's when I thought about the receipt, and as I grabbed it, while she was repeating herself AGAIN, she yelled "OK THANK YOU" and slammed the sliding door loudly and disappeared before I could turn around and give her my receipt. Like I said, I have worked in food service for 6 years, I know that the job is tough with long hours, but that is absolutely NOT how you treat a customer. I was pretty much in tears on my drive home because I was so shocked and stunned that I was treated SO rudely. I have had worse things done to my orders at restaurants before, but the managers immediately fixed it without any issues. Now I'm debating on whether or not I should contact the owner of these central coast McDonald's restaurants (I met him at a craft fair, so I have access to his information) and let him know what happened. At the very least I am definitely contacting corporate.

Nothing like having to park for 20 minutes yes I said 20 MINUTES to wait for a specific item only to find out when you get home it isn’t even in the bad and THEN calling to let them know only for them not to answer calling back and having someone pick up phone and hang up. APPALLING Customer Service. This disgusts me to be honest I mean they make your verify it on the screen and then they repeat your order at the window and then tell you that there will be a wait on “my item” and to park. So here they have so many times to get it right yet they still get it wrong. If I was the owner or Manager I would be so embarrassed and upset that their staff would make someone wait for their item and then not deliver. Ok....ahem....(((((breathe))))) Rant is complete. Have a nice day and go to another McDonalds when you get a crazy as this one obviously doesn’t value its customers OR answer their phones! 😑

I live locally and try to frequent here occassioanlly and they are the worst slowest rudest service ever. All I want is a drink and 1 car in front of me ans we eill sit at the drive thru for 15 mins before the order is taken and there is zero guest inside

Now I remember why I haven't been to a McDonald's in years! The Cashier had a "could not care less" attitude. It took almost 20 minutes to get the order and we were the only ones in the place. The food was cold and stale, particularly the McNuggets. Not all the order was in the bag, ordered a 20 piece and only got 10 pieces and no sauce, none at all! Filled out a Survey and it calls for the 26 digit number??? I mean are there really 25 Septillion survey responses? Makes it almost impossible to respond! Probably intentional on McDonald's part. Giant Fail.

I’ve been a regular customer at McDonald’s on grand Avenue in Grover Beach and today as well as before this is what happened several times before I start to get a meal with hashbrowns and I get to work miles away and find out what the hashbrowns are under cooked and stuck to the paper in the package I took them back this morning and what happened they said they were cooked properly when they were not cooked properly I asked them to replace them with some other hashbrowns and they also were under cooked I found them to be very disrespectful towards me a regular customer for years and will never go to that McDonald’s ever again

Stale tortilla for my sausage burritos complain to them about it and they said that's the way they are I've also gotten burnt sausage egg McMuffins their previously they do not care and they'll let you know that they don't!

I got breakfast and it was cold the hash browns were not even warm and not to mention if you go in there is no one anymore to take your order so there getting paid for me to do there job that I'm not trained for... Horrible

Don't use your app at this location if you can avoid it my order is always incorrect when I order over the app I've tried talking to the people and the owner of this location there's nothing they can do once taking your money from the app you can't be refunded from the app and the owner at this location will only pay you back personally so you have to be there when he's there update try to give them another chance today ordered my phone on the online app I came in the store when it was ready but all the workers make sure to not make eye contact after I sat there for a while event processing multiple online orders they said oh sorry we thought you were waiting for another order instead of asking me what I was waiting for disestablishment needs new ownership and management I've already talked to the owner of this establishment or which he stated he ran whiskey was extremely unprofessional and would only give me a refund if I came in in person while he was here I go out of town a lot and I was unable to do it so was unable to ever accomplish my refund

Health and safety: Food contamination. Unfortunately this location keeps giving out raw burger patties (this location has done it to me three times now.) This is unacceptable because it is a huge health and safety issue concerning food contamination. As someone who has restaurant experience I empathize with the employees because this location always seems busy, but food safety is extremely important.
