Great food at a great price. Fast and friendly staff. Rachels is one of our go to places due to a child with celiacs. Food is always good and very filling.
Wonderful service. They give great portion sizes and actually give you a good amount of extra meat unlike most Rachel’s and chipotle. This is the best Rachel’s in the area and I would say it’s worth the drive even if it’s not the closest.
It was good food! Not sure what else to say about it. It's a chipotle style place, where you can pick and choose what you want. The food was fresh, well cooked (not too dry, not undercooked), seasoned well, and a place we would stop by again if we ever pass through again. Definitely a place I'd recommend for someone trying to avoid fast foods
I found myself a new lunch place and I could not be more pleased. Everything is super fresh, veggies are cut daily, and you can really taste the difference. The protein options are top-notch, clean, and perfect for anyone serious about their diet, especially if you’re into bodybuilding like me. I love that I can build my meal exactly how I need it for my macros. After eating here, I always feel energized, not sluggish. If you’re looking for a spot that’s both delicious and supports your fitness goals, this is it. It’s become my go-to for clean, tasty meals on the go!!! 10/10
Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is a fast-casual restaurant that emphasizes a healthy, balanced lifestyle without sacrificing flavor. Their menu is based on Mediterranean cuisine and offers customizable options like bowls and wraps, allowing you to choose from a variety of fresh, all-natural ingredients. The concept is to offer a healthy alternative to traditional fast food, focusing on fresh ingredients and mouthwatering flavors. The restaurant was originally a neighborhood cafe and deli in Buffalo, NY, founded by the Khoury family in 2006 and named after their youngest sister, Rachel. In 2012, the founders, brothers Joe and G Khoury, expanded the business into a fast-casual restaurant with the opening of Rachel’s Grill. They now have 14 locations across New York and Texas. Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is committed to providing fresh, healthy food in a fast and convenient way. They have a customizable menu that includes options like salad bowls, rice bowls, and pita wraps. Each dish is prepared fresh and cooked to order in an open kitchen setting, allowing customers to witness the preparation of their meals. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rachel's Mediterranean Grill, and I must say, the experience was delightful. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff, though limited in number, were incredibly efficient and hospitable, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer. As I placed my order, I was impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Despite being busy, they took the time to explain the menu and offered suggestions based on my preferences. The efficiency with which they handled the orders, even during a rush, was commendable. It was evident that each member of the team was dedicated to providing excellent service. The food arrived promptly, and I was amazed by the flavors and presentation. Each ingredient in my Mediterranean bowl was fresh, and the combination of flavors was a delightful experience for my taste buds. The portion size was generous, and the quality of the food was top-notch. What really stood out to me was the teamwork and coordination among the staff. They worked seamlessly together, ensuring that every customer received prompt and attentive service. Despite the challenges of limited staffing, they managed to create a pleasant and efficient dining experience.
Every time I come here they ask if I want the pita that comes with the salad? The girl who cashed me out asked me twice if I wanted it. I just spent $50 on food... yes I want the pita that comes with it.....
Since they left Rochester I haven't been back. Visiting Buffalo and trying them again; I still understand the lack of passion for the product. Better options, quality and service is available nearby elsewhere.
A little disappointed. Food was good, but no tabouli salad and no desserts.
This was my first Rachel’s experience. Ordered on their website to pick up at McKinley location. Not usually a fan of ordering online takeout ever, but how Rachel’s is set up I wish all places had the same format and process. Husband ordered a rice bowl (pictured) I got a salad bowl, we got fries to share. Order was ready on time, the young girl behind the counter seemed annoyed I interrupted her convo with her coworker to be served. Or just ready for the day/her shift to be over. I should have checked the bag when I put it in my back seat since the sauces seemed thrown in the bag on the side of the containers. Hindsight, because when I got home 2 of the 5 Greek dressings were spilled inside the bag (pictured). Their bags are great quality so none ended up on seat of car. Meals were super fresh high quality ingredients and extremely tasty, minus the soggy fries which are to be somewhat expected with takeout. My only let down of it all even with the spilled dressing, and it was a big let down was we ordered garlic sauce and got tzatziki instead. The garlic sauce is why I wanted to try Rachel’s, no joke. We also ordered 3 sides of pita, on the order page it is pictured with 2 slices of pita but you only get one slice in the order. I am really craving some garlic sauce.
The food was ok, but not great. The souvlaki was a little oily. The service was not that great. The girls behind the counter were a little surly and seemed to rush us. I didn't feel a sense of welcoming from them. Since I live out of the area, I will not come back. If I lived in the area, I probably would visit one more time to see if the service and food were a little better. ✌️
We went in to get food at 7:15 pm. They close at 8 pm. They had already put the chairs up and made it clear they were trying to close early. They were rude and glared at us the entire time as we ordered the easiest rice bowls possible. The food is great but the staff needs to be trained on how to interact with customers. Its not like we were rude or did anything wrong. We came in well before close and were treated like we had walked in 5 minutes before close. I mean we ate there one time amd they literally put the chairs up around us loudly to pressure us to leave. I don't understand why they cant just be remotely pleasant.
I ordered lunch on-line for myself and 8 coworkers. What we received were 4 orders that generally had the ingredients selected, 3 contained additional, not-requested items such as a hand full of french fries on the bottom of a salad bowl. 1 of the other orders wasn't at all what was requested, providing us with a chicken salad instead of a shwarma rice bowl. I don't think I'll be ordering from there again.
Went to Rachel’s the other day and such rude service with all the team members! The lady that takes your order was extremely nasty “what do you want”!! The girl that made my wrap put like 6 pieces of lettuce on my wrap and the lady that rang us out was extremely rude when I asked to purchase extra dill sauce and when I left I notice she didn’t put it in the bag she rolled her eyes and chucked the sauce in the bag. You pay so much money but get little food - very disappointing!!
I will preface this with I was there an hour before they closed. They were out of many items but the girl who prepared my food was good and i was understanding. The girl who cashed me out on the other hand... whew. She was about 16 and had the worst attitude behind the counter I've ever experienced at a Rachel's. She would ask a question with her back tuned and expected you to hear her. I gave her specifics as to what sides I wanted and she came back and charged me for "everything" because I apparently had told her I wanted "everything". When she told me the total for 3 salads and fries was almost $70 I knew something was wrong. I asked her to repeat back what she was charging me for and when I stopped her and explained that you can't charge me for dressing that comes with the salad she rolled her eyes so far back into her head I was impressed. She grabbed the manager who was very nice and explained that yes.. you do get dressing with a salad. (Obviously) once the manager walked away she proceeded to slam and I do mean slam because there were dents in the cups of dressing into my bag. She stomped away and ran to the back where I saw her sit down, put her feet on the desk and talk to her fellow coworker aggressively like i had made her angry. The manager did briefly apologize saying that there's been many complaints before about her nasty attitude and they usually keep her in the back because of it. I don't like to write negative reviews but this young girl really needs to be held accountable because who knows how many people have had this experience or had to pay an outrageous amount of money due to her laziness.
The workers here should be trained on how to speak to customers. The one man who was taking orders who I assumed was the manager was hostile and rude to everyone in our party when ordering. He kept rolling his eyes at everything and just looked miserable. Will not be back to this location ever again because we felt so uncomfortable. If you hate your job that much, please don’t taking out on paying customers…🤷🏻♀️
This is the worst restaurant in the franchise. Someone should do a spot check. Sticky floors. Bad attitudes. Dry chicken. I love going to Rachel's otherwise. Just not this one. Someone from corporate should look into this. Gives the brand a bad name.
Not sure if they're under new management or what, but our last few visits have been AWFUL. Honest waste of money for greasy slop and extremely nasty young women. FYI, girl in the red sweat shirt today is such a ray of sunshine, NOT! Oof. Do better, pals.
I picked up a order for my Lady, they forgot to give me the special sauce that went with the meal she ordered, and I specifically asked if everything was in the bag and order, so I wouldn't have to come back, because they did it before. I explained that it's ,15 miles each way, They forgot that sauce, and it ruined my day, I will never order from this place, and it's expensive on top of that.
Ordered takeout from this Rachel’s location earlier this week. After the third bite of my food I discovered something in my mouth which turned out to be a hard, jagged, glasslike piece of sharp plastic. Immediately tried calling the location multiple times (with no answer). Tried calling again the next day. Emailed the company, did a contact us form. No response. I’m hoping nobody else had anything in their food but extremely disappointed nobody reached back out to me. Mistakes happen, but this is unsafe and the company appears to be uninterested. Patron with caution.
I went to Rachel’s last week and ordered a rice bowl and rice pudding. When I got home I saw that my rice pudding had mold on the top. I was disgusted. I drove back to Rachel’s with my moldy rice pudding and my receipt. I told them I would like a refund on my pudding. They said that they would notify the manager and I would get a refund in 24 hours. A couple days went by and I didn’t receive a refund I called them and they said the same thing that they will remind the manager and I will get my refund in 24 hours. Now it has been a week and still no refund. The customer service is bad and quality of food is bad.
