What Chinese restaurants used to be before they either went upscale or take out only. Rivals the best of New York but much more affordable. Great food, especially if try some from the authentic selection. Had chilled chili beef & tripe, sweet & sour seafood soup, moo shoo beef, and Korean chicken. Friendly staff.
Excellent experience here. Service great and the food is fantastic!
What a nice experience. We happened upon Han Fusion after a visit at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Delicious food and attentive staff. They took the time to answer questions and share a little conversation. The restaurant was clean, comfortable seating and actually enjoyed lunch in a quiet atmosphere.
My friends and I have been eating at Han Fusion for years. Tom and Heidi run an amazing restaurant! The best food, great service, pleasant atmosphere. Freshness and quality. My favorite Asian food in the upper valley by far. Prices are good especially for being in Hanover. Great lunch specials. They are ALWAYS friendly and welcoming.
This was our 1st time ordering from Han Fusion, we ordered take-out, it was the best Chinese food that we’ve had around here in many years! Great portions, enough for another meal tomorrow! We will be getting our Chinese food from there from now on!
My husband and I went to Hans Fusion for the very first time. Omg the food and drinks were amazing. But the service was so much better. We had the best experience there from not only the waitstaff but from the owner himself. Thank you so very much. We will definitely be back
This place is really good! They’ve got a lot of classic dishes. Things that remind me of food my mom cooks and dishes we always order for Chinese New Year. There’s a nice variety of vegetarian dishes. I love the cumin lamb and the tomato egg.
As someone who used to work a block from Boston Chinatown, I was sad thinking I would never find good Chinese in this area. I was so wrong! This place is phenomenal and holds its own with Boston! We particularly loved the Stir-Fried Chicken with 3 Spicy Pepper (just the right level of salty and mala) and the Fish Fillet in Szechuan Chili Sauce. Everything we tried was good though! Thank you so much for bringing real Chinese food to the Upper Valley!!
Not sure how I missed the fact that there is GOOD CHINESE GOOD in Hanover. But I'm going to chalk it up to Covid and my having quit going to Hanover...😬😬😬 It's, you know, cost benefit analysis: the cost of having to attempt to park in Hanover was NOT outweighed by any of my prior dining experiences. 🙄🙄 However! I decided I was going over there today after reading Han Fusion's menu online and seeing sections that said "authentic" and "tripe" and "pork belly." Okay! Bet!! Turns out the undergrads are gone at the moment and driving and parking in downtown Hanover was delightful! Han Fusion is located below street level and has a nice, big dining room with old school white tablecloths. There is also a comfortable bar. Which is where I sat. I always want to sit at the bar. Because that's where I get to talk to/meet people and we were having such a good time (me, husband and wife owners, food delivery driver) that I had to TEAR MYSELF AWAY. After 3+ hrs... Good times! And REALLY good food!! There is no Chinese food in a hour radius of Hanover that can hold a candle to what they're serving at Han Asian. No. Really. Trust. I started with a selection og appetizers : cucumber salad fried shrimp (delicious comfort food); steamed veggie dumplings (very good, complex flavor); crystal shrimp dumplings (LOVELY!). I ate my cucumber salad and then used the delicious sauce for my veggie dumplings. With a spoon even. Such a good combination! Then I mixed some hot mustard in the dipping sauce meant for the dumplings and used that for the shrimp ones. Heavenly! (I used Duck Sauce for the fried shrimp...it's just super good, fresh, comfortable stuff.) I ate all of it. Which was "kind of" a mistake?? Because really I needed more room for more entree!! I ordered Homestyle Tofu and Black Mushrooms Chow Sum. Holy. Crow people. I haven't had any Chinese food even close to this anywhere in Vermont or New Hampshire. Perfection!! Crisp, fresh, perfectly cooked veggies, fantastic sauces. Everything arrives so hot you could hurt yourself. But it's SO GOOD you don't want to wait to eat it. Despite REALLY making an effort I've got of tofu for tomorrow. Which I'm not really mad about... Next time I'm gonna skip starters and eat as many entrees as humanly possible!
We were drawn in by the comments about the soup dumplings and we were not disappointed by the taste and quality. We would recommend them to everyone. The restaurant is in a nice location and the dining room was above normal for similar restaurants. Most notable however was the service. My water never got more than 1/2 down and the food came out quickly.
A newly opened authentic Chinese food restaurant in this little college town. We ordered my favorite thin sliced beef in Szechuan chili sauce as well as the lunch special Mala(spicy )chicken . They were delicious. I don’t have to drive all the way down to Boston for some good Chinese foods any more. 😂
The food here is great! And I really enjoy any of the authentic dishes they have here whenever I come. The staff are very accommodating and the food is always nice. The only thing for me is that since I have noise sensitivity and the place is always crowded and extremely loud, it makes it very hard for me to eat here.
This food is dangerous. Dangerously delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it. I have now eaten most of three entrées and my belly hurts and I am sleepy. The general Tso tofu was very well flavored with a bit of bite. The lo mein was also quite good. The Moo shu vegetables were well seasoned especially with the plum sauce however unfortunately they forgot to give us the pancakes to go with it.
The chef and recipes are very good but the food was pre-made, reheated and lukewarm when served which was disappointing. If I were the owner, I would pare down the menu, focus solely on Chinese dishes (why compete with Tuk Tuk on Thai food when there are no other Chinese restaurants in Hanover?) and serve only dishes that can be made fresh. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I would love to see these changes and I would be a life long patron if they are implemented. Quality food should always be made fresh to order.
If you are not familiar with Chinese or Thai food you would not know what to order. There are no photos on the menu. The waiter and waitress did not / could not help. I looked for menu and photos of this restaurant on google. I ended up ordering egg drop soup. There were a few pieces of egg shell in the soup. Otherwise the soup was OK. I ordered yellow curry with tofu. It looked good on the photo, but I was unlucky. It was very spicy and the tofu was hard. I could not eat the tofu.
I was very disappointed with our meal it was stale the meat was hard to chew ,white rice nasty, house love mein was old my husband would not eat it I was upset payed 58.00. It was also cold to to the cake
