Cute little local restaurant with delicious food & friendly service as we drove north on Hwy 59 north of Marshall, TX. I had a vegetable plate with cornbread. My friend had the best club sandwich ever!

The food we had was wonderful as for the Cook in August 15 2025, at 1 pm she made everything look so great and it was very good, I'm glad me and my husband stop for lunch . Accept we wanted fish but you have to come back from 5-9, they need to have it all the time.🥰

This is a hidden gem. The food is fresh and delicious, made with love by Miss Sylvia. The place is clean and bright and one of my favorite places in East Texas. I am a picky eater because I'm a really good cook. Most meals I've had out fall a little flat because my meals are better than most restaurants, but that's not the case here. Additionally, all the staff and the owners are quite exceptional. If you are in the Jefferson, TX area, do your taste buds a favor and stop in. Actually, it's worth a trip to Jefferson just to eat here. If you happen to be here on Friday, that's pie day! Who can say no to that?!?

The Friday night catfish and fries are excellent. The beans and coleslaw were good but the hush puppies could be improved. Overall, very good.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken strips and my hubby had the chicken fried steak we didn't leave a crumb. It was fresh . The service was amazing the owners were so sweet and welcoming

Little country kitchen, hometown feel inside, and they have great wait staff. The food is great definitely mom and pop eatery has plenty of room if pulling a trailer, come drop by and get some good food.

Just happened upon this cafe. It was just what we were looking for. A family run cafe with home cooking at reasonable prices. The hamburger was delicious. The steak fingers were hand breaded and very tasty. We would definitely stop here again.

We went for breakfast as I'm a vegetarian. I had veggie omelette and two pancakes. My wife had the loaded omelette. We both enjoyed our meals very much. The owner (I supposed) chatted with us and was very attentive to our needs.

We stopped here on Friday on our journey from Houston area to Hot springs Arkansas. We didn’t want to stop and eat at a chain restaurant. We wanted to try something we wouldn’t be able to eat elsewhere and man this was definitely the place! Friendly staff from the min we opened the door till when we left. Food is quality and very reasonably priced. Can not talk highly enough about the cowboy bites.

Great food and great people. Fish plate very good. And the homemade pie to finish it off. Keep up the good work.

Super friendly place with good food and desserts. My buddy and I got there few minutes before closing were treated super nice. Nice little place to stop if in area with tasty food.

Parked my truck there for my 10 hour break and woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. Had to go and grab breakfast after that. Aunty B's Special was amazing. Good food. Great service and a really nice place to park for a 10 hour break. Thank you for the hospitality. Will be back.

The owner immediately told the cook in front of Everyone that if she didn't share the tip she would Fire her on the spot. The owner said this more than once. Very rude and inappropriate in the public view. We often tip the cook when the meal was done right because most places do not share tips with the cooks. We really enjoyed the meal so we'll probably return to give them another chance.

Chicken sandwich was fried to perfection. Next time I'll get the spicy. Seasoning was a lil flat on the regular. Look forward to trying more from the menu

I love the idea of this place being a home town restaurant, BUT definitely needs some fixing on some things. The floor was falling through and we had a roach was in our basket of jelly. The food was average and so was the service. It took longer then 30 minutes for our food. We're all disappointed.
