Everytime I come to Taco Bueno I leave satisfied. The pricing is good and the amount of food you get is better. It also tastes good, and my order is always correct. The service is friendly and the building itself is clean and tidy

The manager is great, its fast food but we rarely wait longer than 5 minutes. We eat here once a week and feed a family of 5 for roughly 10$. It is hard to beat.

Everything was perfect, you get a good amount of food for the money and I was definitely satisfied. We do not have these restaurants where I'm from so I make it a point to stop here every chance I get !

Location location location! it's always a convenience at your hands when you get that tiring Walmart trip or sams trip taken care of and your hungry for some Mexican food. Fast service Drive through to access and fed family of 4 for under 35$. STARSX4

I love almost anything here. It’s so crazy how good it is. It taste so authentic. It’s better than Taco Bell by a long shot. I wish there were more of them around so I could our eat there more often. I had some today randomly and I inhaled it! Delicious!

Food is always good. I love the small salsa bar. Lately they've been having really good deals online. My best friend can eat gluten free there and not get sick.

Not sure why these people are complaining, I've been going here for about 8 years now and I've never had a bad experience. I love the breakfast but I've often come for lunch as well. The people are friendly the food is hot and I've never had a cause for complaint.

Had the beef quesadilla and a taco salad. The quesadilla was made well, cheese melted and crispy Tortilla. The taco salad bowl was fried correctly, not greasy, and was light and flakey. The salsa table was stocked well, and clean. The bathroom... not good. Smelled like an old gas station bathroom needing cleaned but it did have paper towels stocked to dry hands.

Always good, fresh food. Good guacamole and the chili con queso is fine. The salsa and pico de gallo is always fresh. In my opinion, it's got the best iced tea in town! But they were out of wrapped plastic ware. Fortunately my order came with shells, which I could use to get food into my mouth. Not having wrapped plastic wear during this time of covid is a huge No-No! No! No! No!

New employees kinda skimp out on the serving size for the party burritos now so it's not as good of value as taco bell anymore. However the food is still very high quality and the employees are nice.

First time in a Taco Bueno. Fairly friendly staff, very fast service in getting our food that was fresh, and had really good thin chips. Will definitely stop by again when I need fast food!

CHECK YOUR ORDER. Did an online order recently. I should've checked the order before leaving the drive thru. They forgot both quesadillas I ordered, plus the BFT. And the chips for chips & queso. Had to make a return trip to get it. They had gotten better at not forgetting food but I should've known something was up when the lady at the window didn't realize I had three drinks total. She forgot the drinks entirely at first. The food was good though. Just had to make two trips to get it all.

Pretty good food for fast tex mex.seems to be fresh and the brisket tacos are delicious! I was very disappointed in the shrimp street tacos tho.the shrimp was hard as a rock and they barely had anything in them.when we went on Thursday the drive through girl was very nice!

We love taco bueno. This store is an older location and has not been updated in years. But our food is always how we order it, and is always fresh and hot. Sometimes depending who you get, the staff can be friendly. The chicken quesadilla is sooo good.

It's fast food, but I liked it better than taco bell. Meat and tortillas have a better flavor.

Its ok the food is decent for lunch break. The staff is quite but friendly. Its clean on the inside, no weird smell. And the bathroom was usable and clean.

I had the taco salad..no sour cream no guacamole..they brought it out meat and cheese only..about a quarter of the way through there was a hair..they did replace my food and it was made correctly the second time..and the tea was great..not sour

Overall good food ..gets better with dine in. I always get better service and attention to my needs if I go in. Drive thrue seems to be about how fast the $$ can come in and get you out.

Drive thru wasn't very observant and charged me for extra sour cream when the taco already came with sour cream. The food was not that great. Taco tortillas tasted old and broken

Understaffed, so they were extremely slow. Order was incorrect twice. Seems to happen alot at this location. Foods still better than Taco Bell though.

Serving was not nearly as large as same item served at other Taco Bueno stores. The Big ol Burrito should live up to its title and this one most definitely did not.

There was no one in the drive thru line. The automoted welcome recording came on advertising the specials. I waited almost 10 minutes for a human to respond. It was raining and there is no covering at the speaker, my car was getting wet while waiting for someone. The speaker doesn't work too well. Woman at the drive thru seemed unhappy and agitated. She wasn't rude, just "unintrested". My order came out pretty quickly and was correct. The sauce, which is the big reason I come to Bueno, tasted watered down and old. It will be awhile before I visit this location again.

Building smelled like a musty sewer smell probably needs Oder eradicater poured in floor drains food is normally great here but my enchiladas had diced chicken instead of shredded like normal made them dry and taste weird

Pretty fast service, however condiments usually low & and it's generally kind of messy around the same area. In addition the napkins are usually always out and you have to ask for more while all of this is during lunch time.

Taco Buena is always a good bargain. Reliable food with consistent tastes at reasonable prices. Wish they would rinse the table rag out and maybe use it alittle dryer. Disgusting to sit down at a wet table

Bueno founded in Abilene, Texas...They even have a sign in the establishment that gives a little history. This Bueno has been really fast with the order's when I come in. Most have booths and tables but this one has a little bar like area where you may watch the traffic drive by as you eat and look at the weather. Has a small bar so you may load up your burrito... Affordable prices, clean and tidy inside and out.

Update: Since my last post this location seems to have upped it's game. The food has been good the last 2 times (although the party burritos were lacking tonight) and their customer service has improved dramatically. Old post: Put in an online order for pickup. I got there when it was supposed to be ready and they hadn't even started on it yet. Then when we got home 3 of our burritos were cold and stale. Normally I would give this place 5 stars, but this visit was pretty bad. If I were to go based on this visit alone I'd give it a one-star, but since it's normally good I'll give it three. Unless they step it up though, I wouldn't recommend the online ordering.

I am a huge Taco Bueno fan! This particular location at this time didn't quite measure up. The drive-thru line was long and incredibly slow. When we did get our order most of the food was not hot and a couple of the orders were incorrect. Sorry fellas! Better luck next time!

The food was delicious, the service .... Eh. It took a while to get our order and when I had asked for some hot sauce I was told to "Hold On!" The employees were such a bundle of joy .... Not. Probably won't be back.

I like Taco Bueno in general. It is usually a step above Taco Bell in quality. This location has the absolute slowest service I've seen though. The drive thru takes forever. Probably the slowest drive thru in town.

Didnt get the order right in multiple ways. No napkins. Wrong drinks. Everything printed on the ticket correctly as we ordered it, just wasn't correct AT ALL.

Only really come here because my boyfriend likes it. Not sure the name of the lady that was working the drive thru but she was very rude, when I got to the window to pay it was a different person.

Ordered the quesadilla and was not impressed. Only had chicken and cheese, no sauce. Environment wasn't the best, and my family didn't enjoy their food either. The pico de Gallo wasn't very good either, had clearly been setting out a while. Unlikely to come back.

Ordered potato burrito with chicken and beef quesadilla. Order was wrong and instead received potato burrito with beef and beef quesadilla. Did not like the burrito since it had beef. Looks like it was just thrown together and wasn't even warm. My wife like the beef quesadilla but won't be back at this location. Due to them missing up my order, food not being warm, and presentation wasn't very good.

This was the most disgusting food I've ever tried. The ground beef was pretty good tasting but in a burrito with soggy lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream with a floured tortilla big as a hat was dreadful. I gave it to the dogs. Won't be going back.

Tried calling but it didn’t even ring- I went through the drive through a little while ago today (about 3:30) and ordered 3 bean and cheese burritos with a large Dr.Pepper. For starters they gave me Diet Dr.Pepper…. i get it i’m pregnant however i did not order a diet dr.pepper….. When i got to the window he said my total was 16 and some change which seemed like a lot for just 3 bean and cheese burritos and a large dr.pepper but i know prices go up and whatnot so i didn’t question it- When he told me my order he said “3 combo burritos” which to that i told him i ordered 3 bean and cheese burritos and he told me that was what a combo burrito was despite me getting bean and cheese burritos and being told bean and cheese burritos but it’s not my job so i didn’t question it, i realize now i should have checked because when i got home and started eating my burritos there was meat in all 3 of my burritos when i specifically ordered bean and cheese. I am still going to eat them because i am 37 weeks pregnant and very hungry but definitely not very happy about this situation!

The food was okay, but the cleanliness was lacking. Also, when my husband took our son in to use the restroom, there was feces all over the toilet. The last person to come out of the men's room was an employee who was visible prepping food immediately after. He may have washed his hands, but if he left the bathroom in that kind of state, how does that reflect on his hygiene and adherence to health and safety protocol (and just decency and common sense) in the kitchen?? 🤢

I was amazed that the only time anyone ever spoke to me during the entire time of my visit was to tell me the total that I owe for the food I ordered. I'm not over exaggerateing! I walk in at around 9ish pm and no one greeted me...after about 5 minutes the manager walked up to the front counter and looked at me with a look like he is waiting for me to order....still no words to me. I asked him how he was doing and got no response so I proceeded to order. The only thing he said to me was the total of my order. I paid and he gave me my receipt and just walked away. Around 10 to 15 minutes later he brought me my order. I thanked him and I told him I hope he had a good night and he did not respond but just walked away....oh did I mention that he was the manager! I have never had a lack of service like this before. Now that I think about It I have never had a negitave interaction with another human like this...I gave it 2 stars because the food tasted better then normal.

It's a shame when a restaurant with a fine reputation like Taco Bueno is not able to hire good workers. The food was good enough, but the empty parking lot at noon on a Sunday was a direct reflection of the laxadaisical, "I don't give a ____” attitude reflected from within. Let's just say that after they put my to-go order on the counter and turned around without saying a word (heaven forbid a 'Thank you!'), I stood there, not sure if the order was complete or not. That's when the older server (maybe even the manager??) looked up and just said, "You can go now.". That I will, and unfortunately, for much longer than either one of us would have liked.

We were the only people in the restaurant an ordered 3 meals, they screwed up on mine twice. They never apologized, they were not happy about having to fix it. I ordered a taco platter with crispy beef tacos, I got soft beef tacos... I told them what I had ordered, they remade my tacos, this time I got 2 chicken tacos. :(

The drive thru took close to 30 minutes with only 5 cars in from of us! The woman who took our order was also rude. This place is definitely not worth it! I won't be returning!

Dinning room was very dirty, no clean tables and floor had several spills. Stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us.

Came to grab some lunch. Doors were locked during business hours. Went to taco cabana instead. Was wayyy better. Nice way to run off business!

terrible, first time i went through drive thru, messed up my order and left stuff out, 2nd time i told them exactly and still messed it up! and they were out of beef!?

Everything has meat in it. Their sauce, their beans even have beef fat. Their tostadas are the same size as taco bell and 2.5 times the price.

Last 2 times a very poor experience. I ordered a #6 and one taco. 22 mins later (I waited by the counter not sitting down where they could easily forget about me) I checked on my order, and they had overlooked it. No sorry or anything. The time before that was just extremely slow in the drive through. So, if you have a ton of time to waste and aren't that hungry this is the Taco Bueno for you!

Didn't get the queso we paid for. Refried beans were like soup they were so liquidy. Rice was hard as rocks like it had been sitting out all day.

All the sodas in the machine were flat and tasted disgusting. There was no ice in the machine either. As for the food, it was decent but it was overpriced for the quantity and the quality. The chips were stale and the tacos were tiny and underfilled. You got more tortilla than filling.

So... we just TRIED to eat here and they said we couldn't order because they were out of meat. No suggestions for anything else, no apology, just told us they couldn't serve us because they were "out of meat". We drove all the way from Hallsville because we were craving Taco Bueno. I even tried to call ahead to see if the dining room was open, but their telephone line was busy for over 15 minutes. I just hope they were on the phone trying to get some friggin meat delivered. Smh

If a place can't keep the restroom clean then my family sure isn't eating there. The men's restroom had a faucet that wouldn't turn off and the floor was flooded. No thank you.

I am taking cancer treatments. I fell today and cut myself on eye. Needed to eat something so got out of bed and went there after waiting in drive through I ordered gave them my card my phone shows they charged me for food yet they would not give me my meal. I will never eat there again and I recommend nobody eat there

So my wife is very picky about her muchaco and asked if the could cook her muchaco crispy. The lady at the front looked at her and said you know it's pita bread fried, right. So she replies yes can u fry it crispy. The lady never responds and continues to take order. My wife got a cold soggy muchaco. Now she will never let me take her to another taco bueno.

Decided to just walk out! As a general manager of a food establishment this is the worst service I’ve ever seen. Was looking at the menu and the nice young lady from the window asked the other lady if she would like for her to take our order and the lady in the back rudely said “yea because they gonna wait a while if I’m taking the order” there was just NO customer service skills at all! Now I’m not shocked as to why this location is so slow every single time I pass by. not sure management would even care by the looks of it. This would not have been an employee of mine I can tell you that much.

This was the best Bueno in the area, but that's not saying much - Hwy 80 and Kilgore are complete garbage. Their daily specials made the overpriced regular menu items almost tolerable, but they no longer offer those (RIP: BOGO Muchaco Mondays & $0.59 Party Taco Thursday). They also had a 3 for $6 menu that normalized pricing a little, but that only lasted a couple of months too. Service: Some people who have worked there for a while are rude and hate their jobs. It doesn't make for much of an atmosphere. To be fair, they currently offer a free taco the day after the Rangers score at home. This doesn't negate the overpriced regular menu items or the nasty sides bar. As a whole, it's not worth the free taco to me.

I cane to eat at 5:15 p.m. there was one other customer in the store took me 5 minutes to get waited on then one of the cooks in the back was rude and yelled at me because I asked about their 3 for $6. menu, I went to get my condiments and they were completely out of cilantro, I asked the girl if they had any more she said no.....

Horrible experience!! For starters we order our food and the girl looks at us like we said something wrong. She obviously didn't know the menu. I go to the salsa bar and it looked like it had been there for days.so we left that alone. While waiting for our food. She tells us that they don't have any onions and would take a min to get them done. We asked how long and she says 45 min. Really? So we ask why didn't she tell us this before we ordered? She shrugs and acts like she didn't care at all. Well we got our food and it was stale and hardly anything on it. Now I know why on a Saturday afternoon they were empty!! I do need to add that every single table in that place was dirty. There was only one other lady in there and just like us she had to walk around and find the cleanest one in the place to sit. Food, cleanliness, and customer services down right horrible!! Never again!!

We usually go to the Taco Bueno on Marshall but decided to try this location. The service sucks and the employees are rude. You go in to eat at 9pm and the lady working the front counter continues to mention that she's closing the dining room. They have no Pico on the condiment bar and gets rude when you ask for some from the back. Told me that they don't have any more and I won't be getting any tonight. I do not recommend.

This location needs some help! When we went inside to order, the cashier guy said "you obviously want this to go, right?" like even questioning that we would even want to eat in. It appeared the air conditioning unit was leaking and seeping through the ceiling tiles in several spots, leaving weird sticky puddles everywhere and making it difficult to find a place to sit that you weren't getting dripped on. When we went to get our sodas, there was visible gunk hanging off the coca cola when we used it. Seems like this location needs a remodel and some retraining on cleaning protocols.

Employees are slow and lazy. Other than taking almost 10 mins to get food, no one in drive thru n 1 person inside, couldn't be bothered to get the count right. I ordered 2 burritos n 2 tacos. I know a tough order.

It's my second visit to this establishment. Wasn't impressed the first time but I thought I would give it a second chance, bad mistake. Ordered 4 tacos 2 were broke in half across the bottom. Meat & salsa were tasteless, hardly any cheese or lettuce. I'm not going for STRIKE 3, (YOU SUCK).. .I'll take my business back to JUCYS TACO 🌮!!!

The service every single time is terrible, & today will be my last visit. Arriving at the speaker, it was on, as I could hear background noise. After several seconds of no acknowledgement, I am the only vehicle in line, I said, Hello? Finally, a barely able to hear, I was told, Just a minute! The person finally came back & refused to speak up. I got to the window & saw three walking as slowly as possible. One was at the end of the metal table, putting napkins into bags, & when I say she drug it out, it was so slow, not even efficient. No one acknowledged we were waiting, & after several minutes, the lady finally brought our food. I said, I think your speaker may be broken because I could barely hear you. She just looked at me like I was wasting her time. As she handed me my food, not a word, not even whe. I said, Thank you. These are middle aged ladies. They are not disabled. They simply have no work ethic & don't care. When the store finally shuts down, this will be a huge contributor, but obviously whomever operates it doesn't care. Good luck, ladies, on future employment elsewhere. Such a shame.

Stopped at the 4th street location in Longview today a little after 4pm and sat at the speaker in the drive through for about 5 minutes and noone came on or said anything so I pulled up to the window and sat there for another few minutes while the employees definitely saw us and just ignored us , finally the employee comes to the window and asked if he could help us so I tried to order some tacos and was told that tbey was out of taco meat !!!! Come on , the name of the place is literally taco bueno!!! The emotes was rude and lazy , this was the worst service I have ever had at any taco bueno. I will never visit that location again , DO BETTER TACO BUENO!

I stopped at the drive thru, there was no response for several minutes. I pulled up to the window, again...crickets. I parked and went inside. An employee (who refused to give her name) was sitting at a table eating. I told her I'd been at the drive thru with no response. Her excuse, "We've been really busy", like business should stop because she was tired. I am ashamed to say, I said something to her that I normally wouldn't. I've always loved Taco Bueno but whoever is paying her to work there is wasting their money. Rude, lazy, unprofessional and entitled. I'm so disappointed. BTW, judging by other comments, this is not new or out of the ordinary.

I just left there I tried to order while I'm standing at the counter three employees look directly at me but they're all too busy how I don't know because the building had one customer in their eating and I exited out the building went to my vehicle and there was no one in drive-thru but yet no one came to the counter and offered to serve me so I walked out. Very rude unprofessional they need better employees

I guess maybe I should’ve read the reviews, I was just too damn hungry. Went to taco no Bueno! Cold tortillas that were cracked and falling apart probably 3 to 5 pieces of cube chicken sour cream was watery and when I tried to make a joke at the window Telling the young man that he pushed too many buttons cause my order was $15 for four little tacos, he was like what? I said never mind. I was just joking. Also, this also might as well be tomato sauce never again.

Well I got an itch to eat at the Bueno after years of not going there, big mistake. I ordered nachos and a party burrito, what I always get. I look back in the kitchen and I see the cook set my burrito on one of the nastiest counters I have ever seen. As she proceeds to make it, I say yea I don't think so, and she said excuses me. I said that counter top is disgusting and you just made my burrito on it. At this point the manager said I got it, and took over making me a new one the right way. As the 1st cook was making my nachos she dropped two of the chips on the same nasty counter and just picked them up and put them on the plate. Bueno do better, take pride in your work. P.S. clean the place up, it was disgusting.

Terrible food quality. Meat looked like sausge and was dried out. Steak was just as bad. Tasted terrible. Got water and kept getting black substance in water. Looks like it was from the ice. Ceiling has mold over all the tiles and above the ice machine. Told kids to throw food away and we left. While leaving staff where all on there phones and cook was chewing on his finger nails.

I was on the drive through & ordered a muchaco platter. I asked for both tacos to have beef & veggies only; no beans or cheese. I repeated myself twice cuz the guy taking my order didn't listen to me the 1st time & when I got home to eat it it had everything thing I specifically didn't want in my tacos. They added too much beans that the crunchy taco got soggy & the cheese melted all over the meat & veggies. This has happened multiple occasions & I'd go back to get it fixed but today I just had to say something about the issue.
