Great food at great prices! Recently found a new favorite. Chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce is delicious. Was hesitant about sour cream sauce but it's worth trying. They offer military discount. Service could be faster at times but overall acceptable.

I had dinner there last night with 3 friends. The restaurant appeared very neat and clean. The staff was very nice. We all thought the food and service was excellent. We had a great time. A nice, quiet atmosphere.

The layout is like an older Casa Ole, and the food is similar , good and fresh. My wife and are glad to have tried it today and we will be coming back.

Delicious food, excellent service. This was our first time, and we dont eat large portions of food, so we ordered the appetizer sampler platter to get an idea about the food. We asked that sour cream be left off. To our pleasure, they gave an extra guacamole in its place. Then were offered a senior discount at checkout. Our waitress Sarai was very attentive. We will definitely be back!

We had not been to Don Benitos in a while. We ate there on Saturday afternoon and Jayden was our server. The food was some of the best we have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. I wish I had gotten some red and green sauce to go. :) Jayden was very attentive and friendly. It means a lot when the server anticipates your needs and checks to make sure you have everything. We will definitely be returning soon and asking for Jayden or Reagan. They are the best servers around!

We have loved Don Benito's for over 30 years. But as my husband and I ate lunch there last week, we both agreed that the restaurant had really stepped up its game lately. We enjoyed lunch fajitas and a side taco. The portions were generous, and the food, including the complimentary chips, was served hot and delicious. Our server was attentive, and there was nothing negative about our experience! Ole to all of you at Don Benitos. We will be back very soon!

Morgan was our server and she was amazing! The food and atmosphere were amazing my strawberry margarita was very tasty as well. We received great portions at a fantastic price and truly it was well worth the visit. If you’re ever in town or want a reason to stop by i’d say just go for it.

It's been a long week, and I cannot describe how much my boys and I just needed a time out to just enjoy dinner and have some decent conversation. Our server was on top.of everything, at all times. My taco salad primo (shrimp) was exactly the way I wanted it. My boys both had the wet burrito, and there was clearly no issues, as they didn't last long, lol. Thank you for a great evening!

Cheese enchiladas, tamale, rice beans, tostado, cheese tostado. Guacamole Red Sauce White Queso. Just enough spice, not drowning in raw onions. Its just fantastic.

I was greeted by a friendly hostess (Shelby) and shown to my seat. I can't say enough about Blanca (Waitstaff). She was the only one waiting on 10 tables. You would never know it!! I ordered the Casa Ole Dinner.. It was flavorful & seasoned just right for my palate. The red sauce is just a little on the spicy/medium. Chips were just right. They carry Coke products so I settled right in with Diet DP... I did see others enjoying Margaritas. Finished off the meal with a sopapilla & honey. If this review was helpful, please "Like" it.

Today 4 star, tomorrow who knows. This is always hit-or-miss and while the food is always better than average you start to really judge or rate a place based on the staff. Or waitress was OK, she wasn't overly attentive or friendly like she was with the group of ladies in the next table that she clearly new or somehow liked more than us but we didn't really suffer. You could just tell we weren't getting the same attention. The staff at the front register were as cold and scripted as they could be. Nothing special. Other days you get the people with pep and enthusiasm. Overall it is a good place to eat with good food and typically good services and for that the 4 star rating.

I gave them 4 because most real Mexican restaurant the family Cooks items in their family style and recipes. Region and area make strong differences in style and flavor. every thing was well prepared and presented well. I myself prefer more Mexico City and southern Mexico recipes. Service was excellent. Very clean and employees seemed happy. I was surprised that the waitress had not tasted all the items on the menu, so she was unable to make recommendations on several of my selection. Management should make sure the staff gets to sample every item on the menu. shame on management.

I always loved the food, but I would really like them to start serving the Papa Grande again. It was my favorite thing to get and when we came back today they said it was taken off. Please give me my Papa Grande back!

Was very good. Went there on a Thur afternoon about 1:30 with a friend. Had the Fajita tacos, got 1 of each, rice & beans. Didn't care too much for the chips. Seemed like they were little stale or maybe just to thick for me. Our 2 plates, sprite & water was $34. Good food, I would go again

The stuffed avocados were absolutely delicious. The fajita chimichanga on the other hand was less than spectacular. While our server was extremely busy with multiple tables, she did keep forgetting things we asked for like extra napkins, more salsa and an additonal knife all which appeared after additional reminders. She was great nevertheless. The two salsas that the chips come with were absolutely delicious. Will definitely go back.

Very similar to prior restaurant for so many years. Green and red sauce were absolutely on point. Main dishes were average to above average, but the service was PHENOMENAL. Andi went above and beyond in a way you rarely see these days, and the atmosphere was far quieter than competitors. Wonderful place to enjoy a family meal, and we will be back!

The Door was heavy opening it to go in. I find myself fairly strong for who I am and I had a great deal of issue of opening it I noticed they had a large stock of booster seats Place was clean, even all of the decor and knickknacks above we're free of dust and cobwebs. The only thing I could see that needed a bit of cleaning was the restrooms. Broken tiles and door locks My waitress Kaylee was phenomenal. She was Johnny on the spot with my refill and was not the hover waitress. She anticipated my needs and wants which was exactly what is needed in her profession. She had great recommendations and helped me with ordering exactly what I was looking for. Making sure there were substitutions for the meat. The carbon to syrup ratio on the Dr Pepper was like crack Tons of orders coming and going & that's a great sign I walked out of there so very full

While the service was stellar, the food was definitely not worth 5 stars. The nachos only had meat and cheese on the very top layer of the chips so once you got through that, you were left with nothing but plain chips. Thankfully, the waitress noticed it and fixed the issue promptly.

We have been eating at Casa Ole for nearly 40 years! When the name changed to Don Benitos, we were worried about the menu changing! We were assured that it was still the same great food & service! For the most part, we have found this to be true! The service is still very fast & friendly & the food has the same great taste! The only thing we have found that has changed during our last 2 visits is the green sauce! We can't pinpoint what is different, but it IS different! It is not as good as the green sauce we have looked forward to for so long! Please, please go back to the original recipe! Seriously!!

Don Benito's (formerly Casa Ole) was a favorite for years. We used to come here so often, the staff knew us. Unfortunately, (like many restaurants) the food & service has declined and the prices have gone up. The last time we were here, we ordered yellow queso. The queso tasted like it had rotten ingredients in it. However, the waitress was kind about the issue and took the cost off of our bill. This restaurant used to be a great and affordable place to eat, however I can't say that anymore.

Nice place, service was great. That was about it. We ordered a couple margaritas, wasn't a bad taste, but I doubt there was a shot of tequila in it. Regular size that it was, should have a taste. Food, although the presentation was lovely. The actual plate compared to the picture on the menu, didn't match up. Food was Bland , come on a Mexican resturant with no flavor, nor seasoning.. sorry . Guess I will have to bring my own spices, hot sauce, to add something.

Our waitress was fantastic and clearly doing her best, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. It was obvious she was overwhelmed, likely due to how backed up the kitchen was. Unfortunately, it took over 35 minutes for our food to arrive. When it finally came out, the food wasn’t very hot. The fajitas made a sizzling sound, but they cooled quickly—unlike typical fajitas where the plate is so hot you have to wait before eating. The chicken was noticeably dry, and the onions weren’t properly cooked; they were still firm and hadn’t reached that translucent, sautéed stage. For the price we paid, the portion size and quality just didn’t match up. We could go to places like Chuy’s or Pappasito’s and pay around $17 for fajitas that are more flavorful, better cooked, and more generous in portion. Lastly, the tea tasted stale, as if it had been sitting for hours—it had that bitter, over-steeped flavor you get when it’s not fresh.

Had lunch here today. Two of us ordered fajitas. A 50/50 beef/chicken, and a loco hombre, beef/shrimps. Overall, it was rather bland for a mexican dish. Beans and rice as well, rather bland. Decor was good, seating in the booth we sat, was very tight. We were literally against the table both sides. For us, prob not a return anytime soon. We'll be trying other longview mexican places to eat.

I ordered delivery. My chips were sent open. Wasn’t thrilled with that at all. I don’t know if my driver got hungry and grabbed a couple. I don’t know if his car was clean.

We went to dinner here and it was a fairly slow night for the restaurant. The waitress got our drink order but failed to return to get our food order. I went to the hostess to place our food order. She retrieved our waitress. My husband wanted to leave if she failed to return. Once food was ordered, the food was delivered quickly and all went afterwards.

We've been regulars here for years coming a couple of times a week at times. The fajitas and carne asada have gone down hill. Less and less meat each time I go. Meat doesn't taste grilled. Tastes that it's been broiled or something. Green salsa isn't near as good.

Wife and I eat here regularly and typically have a good experience. However, we stopped in for dinner on Saturday, June 4 and had a terrible experience. There were only 2 waitresses working (according to ours) and they had everyone sitting on the right hand side of the restaurant. It was very busy! There were two female hostesses and one male at the front, along with the manager, who all seemed to be doing nothing. Long story but we were there for over an hour, couldn't get refills on anything, waited forever and after ordering dessert were brought our check (20 minutes later) as she forgot completely about dessert. When you stop in, if they're busy and short staffed, you may wish to go somewhere else. Shame on the manager for allowing this to happen and for not pitching in or making the 3 folks doing nothing help out.

The atmosphere was great, and we got seated quickly. The waitress was attentive except when I asked if they could cook my food with no oil and she said yes, it came back with oil and as a waitress, she should have checked the food prior to bringing it out. I am not allowed to eat certain types of oils in. Typically, they do not serve their food. Cooked in avocado or coconut oil. So I'm positive it was an oil I could not eat. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she said. Well, I don't think they cooked it in oil, maybe butter!!! I said butter is an oil. Anyway, I ate part 7 because I'm hungry. And. even if I was allowed to eat those oils, the food was to say the least, mediocre.

When we walked in we were greeted and sat almost immediately. That’s because of a lack of customers which I don’t know whether to say if that’s good or bad. The food was not very appetizing. I ordered refried beans and when I took my fork to it it was liquidity. When I ate it, I felt like I was gonna throw up.

I had the “steak” and enchiladas… they tried to pass off a pork rib as a steak. I got the monster pina coloda which was 11$ and didn’t even catch a buzz. All that being said they did have wonderful service.

Have been a regular customer for over 40 years...1st with casa Ole...the quality has gone down. Big fan of your queso, extremely salty today. My friend said hers was too, so not just me. The beef is now grainy and flavorless. Please do better. We supported you during covid, by eating there as much as was financially possible, because you were important to us.

The worst pork tacos I have ever had. My friends food came out cold she had them run it back through it was still cold we left will never go back. I'm sure if you like bland food that you can only find in a nursing home you will be right at home.

Out with my sisters to have a great dinner and never will come back!!! We order our meal, the server repeat it, but brought the wrong dinner. When we informed her this was wrong. She tried to say it was what we order. Ma'am please leave my table. Then manager came I'm upset so please leave. When they bought my food threw it. Brought our to go order gave us a to go plate and left. Refused us more to go plates and bags. After calming down from unprofessional treatment manager came over and said she believe her server. We got the Hell out and will never COME BACK!!!!

As a family of 4 that always orders the same meal every time we come, our food is always $40. Got the check and it was $53 this time with no one attempting to make us aware that they raised all their prices including their kid meals which where $6.99 and are now almost $9!! That is insane for a kids plate that literally is from the dollar section of the grocery store. I talked to the manager about it and she said the company refuses to send them updated menus with their raised prices on it so we as customers basically just have to eat the extra cost and they won’t do anything about it. We should at least have a warning because that would definitely help us decide what we will and won’t order. The plate I usually get has always been $9.99. It’s now $13.49 although that’s what the TICKET says not the MENU. All menu prices are wrong so expect to pay 2-3$ more per plate you order. We usually come almost every week after church but we will not be returning. Papacitas is better anyway and almost half the price. Rude “manager” and do not value their customers or even offer an apology for the non-updated prices and a slap in the face when you have to pay almost $15 extra. Very unprofessional. Highly disappointed in this restaurant and everyone who runs it.

Well it started it good, waitress was great!!!! the chips and salsa was flavorful. I ordered the three enchilada plate and my wife ordered the fried avocado (Waitress recommended it) When we received our food the enchiladas looked appetizing but my wifes meal looked like my dog had just thrown up on the plate. I am a pretty easy person to please when it comes to Mexican Food but the enchiladas tasted like a microwave meal and my wifes meal was burnt and was really bad tasting I will not be back. save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else

Overcharged me $45 stolen as a tip, over the $5+ I gave. 135% Gratuity !!??!! Did not offer me anything after I had to go back to them to fix it. Be careful with them. Keep your receipts and check your bank statements. I won’t risk going back

This place has gone down hill since Casa Ole sold out. The menu might be “the same” but the ingredients and the quality is definitely not. I grew up coming here for 20+ years, the green & red sauce always tasted the same. It’s WAY off the mark now. Plates are thrown together with no real care or love.

We ordered lunch fajitas and tacos.. It took 23 minutes for our waitress to even come over and take our drink order. The food was AWFUL. It took me all of 3 minutes to chew one piece of my fajita steak.. wish I was kidding. When I ordered a watermelon margarita and got a peach margarita I also got a side of attitude from our waitress. When the manager was informed she acted SHOCKED as if no one has ever complained.. And now reading the reviews I know that’s not true. Poor management runs down hill.. and this is definitely what’s taking place here.

The waitress forgot about our table!! I had to get up and get several people in our group refills on my own. When the waitress realized it, she caught a MAJOR attitude. The food is way way way overpriced for what you get. The manager on duty attempted to help the situation, but I will definitely spend my money somewhere else.

Edit: I got food poisoning after eating here. I would recommend avoiding anything with the chicken 🤢 It was very overpriced considering the actual quality of the food. The rest of the staff was friendly but our waitress who's name I unfortunately didn't catch was rude to us and other tables. The best part of my entire meal was the chips and salsa which should tell you a lot right there. After finishing my food I felt like I was going to get sick and someone I know got food poisoning last time they ate at that location. I can tell you it isn't the worst Mexican restaurant that I've been to but it's far from the best. I've eaten at Mexican restaurants that have way better food for lower prices. Maybe tonight was just a bad night since other people's reviews seem like they have had better experiences but after mine I will not be going back.

This used to be my favorite place. Since they changed the name, the food is bland but most of all, it is SO expensive! I got a water and chicken quesadillas. After tip I ended up spending $21! Unfortunately The food is just not worth it. I won't be back.

Oh no I would definitely not come back here again we spent 80 dollars on 4 tacos a burrito 2 beers and a very salty margarita. Our server was very sweet I appreciate her very much but the food was so underwhelming. I think 16 dollars for 2 very sad street tacos a scoop of rice and a small bowl of beans was way too much totally not worth it. The reason I only gave 4 stars for service is because the owner was trying to help but made things worse he brought our food out when it wasn’t even dished all the way and he wasn’t very personable. He even came by our table while he was on the phone and grabbed empty plates without acknowledging us which I thought was strange.

We paid $13 for this meal (had 2 of the same meal so $26 total) and this meal normally only came with 2 “street tacos” so one of the 3 was extra on both meals. (Total Bill was $54.70 with chips/sauce/wife’s food) These tacos are so extremely small and for the amount that was paid is insane. We tried to bring the food back the moment we opened them and didn’t even want a refund just for a different menu item that was not significantly small. We were told only the GM could authorize that since it would be free food and nothing was wrong with our order. Keep in mind these 2 meals were for myself and my brother and we eat a lot. We were told nothing could be done today and would have to wait for the GM to return since the managers that are there can’t make that decision. So we now have to go pay even more money to go get more food since there was hardly anything to eat. My wife ordered the stacked enchiladas which she said were great, and 9/10 we have never had an issue here; but for the amount we paid and the amount of food we received we are extremely upset.

The food was alright as always but there was a roach in my queso today and our drink was wrong. They took the queso off the ticket but a manager didnt come talk to us or apologize or anything. Casa Ole used to be my favorite till they sold out. Since then the quality and taste of food has gone down while the price had gone up $50+ for two people at lunch. Our last couple waiters have been inattentive. I am highly disappointed to say the least. We will not be returning again.
