I like the atmosphere. Very cute old house made into a restsurant. Unique place to eat.

The food is excellently prepared by a knowledgeable chef who seeks to use local fresh ingredients adding his own personal touch to recipes discovered by his creative wife.

I picked up lasagna from here for our dinner. It was great and we will be picking up again.

Quaint, cozy atmosphere with great food at a very reasonable price. This restaurant is a good example for others in this town to follow.

Best food in Longview. Nothing from Sysco or other industrial food suppliers. Excellent chef, great servers. The management is pretty harsh on the servers...that's the only disappointing part of the establishment.

Came here to listen to a musician at their outdoor patio and decided to try the food. The options are limitless! The food not only was great, but also tasted fresh.

Good little place! The pizza was good and they were attentive to our situation when our food was not delivered for quite some time. And while there were other things that went wrong with our meal, they tried to make it right by comping some of the issues, not all but some. We will definitely try it again in hopes of a better experience.

Our Valentine’s Day lunch was wonderful today. We loved the lasagna. Absolutely delicious! The warm “flourless” chocolate dessert was scrumptious. This was our first time to eat there but we plan to go back soon and try something else from their menu. Made for a nice Valentine’s Day lunch.

One bite and your mouth will sing it's praises, it will wonder how can you ever bite into another boring burger. You will find excuses to send the kids to grandmas just so you can bask in the ambience of good food. Eating perfectly sauteed veggies.. the ones your kids would sit at the table for hours without eating. Sauces, entrees, special dishes and not a single chicken nugget. Send the kids to summer camp so you can come every night Drinking coffee from French presses and flasks of water will leave you feeling so high class that you feel your pinky raise as it touches your lips. Service fit for royalty as you eat the food of kings and queens.

There was no indication of this charge anywhere, not on the bands notices online, not on the restaurant online, not anywhere in person while we were there. We were not told ever, and learned when we got the final bill. Also, the suggested tip accounts included both taxes and cover charges. Just not good business practice. For tables of 4, a 20% tip is added automatically, this includes the band charge so for a table of 4 the unmentioned added fee is $48!!! And that's just for the band! Then the tip gets added. Again, this should be printed, posted online and told to us in person before we are about to leave for the night. It was our first time there, so it was a shock. Just didn't feel good. Great pizza though.

The only blemish was the bread wasn’t as warmed as we’d expect, but that was probably due to the crowd of people. My wife is a bread connoisseur, so she notices.

Overall it is a nice restaurant but the pricing is a but high given amount of food. The parking is not the best and if there are a lot of people in there it can feel tight.

Nice place, but We didn't eat here. Was able to rent the outside for a private event.

Other than being seated where there was no shade, and getting bitten by a mosquito while sitting outside, I loved the experience and live music. Ya'll need to get the duck.

So I'm torn here. The owner rubbed my party wrong by the way she spoke to my niece and nephew. She redeemed herself by giving my nephew a tour of the kitchen when he got too rowdy. Very cool of her. A quaint little establishment... One of the few "Anniversary" worthy places in Longview! Their menu is limited, but always excellent! The service is excellent. Never had a bad meal here! Enjoy!

Had 2 separated meals. Lunch was so good. Staff was so polite and helpful. Dinner was disappointing. The online menu was out dated so at time of ordering it was difficult. The main item was discontinued. The meal was for a special occasion so the cost was not a problem.

Sat down to eat then changed our mind. It was okay but I think we would appreciate it more if it was on San Antonio riverwalk. Just seems slightly out of place. But the ambience was cute!!

I so much wanted to love this place! It is a quaint little house with calming colors and decor. I read all the great reviews and since we are new to the area I was excited to try what sounded like a great restaurant. We made a same day reservation and showed up on time. We were greeted and seated immediately but it took 15 minutes for us to get water and a wine list after we were seated.🤔 We ordered our wine, antipasti appetizer, and entrees all at the same time. We got the wime right away and it was good. We received the wrong appetizer and waited a while before the one we actually ordered got to us. We never got any napkins or flatware. We had to ask twice. Our server tried to give us salads which werent ours and then we waited and got the wrong entrees. Then we waited and waited and finally got our meal. The scallops were delicious but my husband had ordered a filet with lobster tail and the filet was burnt on one side and barely cooked on the other and the lobster tails were also overdone. We were given a free dessert and a lot of the bill was forgiven. I thought most of the food was delicious but watching 3 tables get served before you when you got there before them was difficult and ive never had the wrong food brought to me 3 times! Im not sure we will try again...it may be a while if we decide to.

Our first time here. The atmosphere is really quaint, and clean. Looks like it was a house at one time and turned into a restuarant. Wood table tops, wood chairs and cloth napkins. Our waitress gave us great friendly service and was very attentive. Maybe 14 tables total with only a few empty at 6:30 Saturday and we were seated very quickly. I ordered the rack of lamb and my wife wife ordered the black Angus and lobster tail. Soft drinks are canned but poured over ice at your table. We are not wine drinkers. Flatbread sausage appetizers were very tasty. The lamb was wonderful until I found hair in my dish. The steak was terrific, tender and juicy. Tiramisu was okay and the Creme Brulee was pretty good as well. Too bad about the hair or this would be a 5 star review. And no manager apologized or even approached our table. This to me shows management simply doesn't care. This will make me not return for another visit.

Food was disappointing. For the price, you expect better quality. They didn’t have mozzarella for our appetizer, our other app was cold and took forever to get. After waiting about an hour and a half (it wasn’t even packed), we finally got our entrees. One was not as advertised and just pretty much beans and mushrooms on a plate. I notice they are constantly looking for a chef on FB so that’s probably why things weren’t up to par. Walked out paying $200 for mediocre food (wine included in price).

The food is great, but if you order through waiter you can not be sure you will receive your order. This is not a waiter issue. The restaurant cancels the order without notifying the customer if they are “busy” only way I found out was after an hour I checked the waiter app and it was cancelled by the restaurant due to the fact they were busy...they should remove the service from waiter on the weekends if they can’t serve the app. And not have the option, very frustrating.

Super rude owner who does NOT have any customer service skill. If you go and get disrespected by her, don't ever post it on their fb page because she will still be rude to you and then delete your comment. What a shame.

We unfortunately did not get to eat here, while the staff was nice we could not bring our 7 month daughter in unless she could remain quiet; small space and sounds carry. So I understand some people want a quiet night out, but is there regulations on decibel level of conversation & laughter as well for adults? * edited to respond to the Owners response to this post* Perhaps post a sign that lets parents know not to bring kids in or have it noted what times, ages, etc are appropriate for your business. I know there was a family that was turned away right after we were.

Well brought my husband here tonight...and they weren't serving the "general public " due to a party! My husband left work early to get there before they closed! Could you have put a note on the door so that we would have known!! Will never go back!!!

Probably first and last time ever going here last night. My dad and I walked in after getting off of work. The lady first asked if we had a reservation.. we looked at her confused and said no. With about 15 tables total in the very small dining area, all of about 5 were filled. She just pointed to a table and told us to sit with very smug looks. After about 5 minutes, we had no menu and no one had so much as looked our way. We decided to just leave. After looking at menu online and everything I have heard, food is extremely overpriced ($17 for a salad), it smelled of a horrible rancid fish smell, and very rude. Felt almost as if we were being treated like Pretty Woman and if we were to return in nice clothing we would have been treated differently.

My adult sons and I went to Tombonis for my birthday. We arrived shortly before 7 pm. The service was horrible. We ordered the chips, salsa and queso appetizer. We got it about 40 minutes later and had about 15 chips for 3 sauces and 3 people. We asked for more and waited another 30 minutes for another 15 chips - not nearly enough for our 3 cups of salsa and queso. They ran out of pizza by 7:30. We finally got our dinner around 8:30. It was so bad. Everything was cold. The chicken Alfredo sauce was thick and tasted like a frozen dinner. I had the Tuscan shrimp. The shrimp was fine but the sauce was horrible; no words to describe how bad it tasted. My son tasted it and said it was by far the worst of the 3 entrees we ordered. Another got the chicken parm. It was cold and bland. Needless to say i was so disappointed. Our check was $120 for our food and beer. The food and service were horrible!! It was by far the worst dining experience in my 58 years and I will never go back.

Cute location! First time we were turned away because they were seating anymore. Just tried for a 2nd time was asked for a reservation, funny thing is I was told the 1st time I didn't need a reservation. Then this time we were offered sitting outside and pizza only. I asked if they had a full menu and the host said yes but they are busy. Host turned here back saying something I couldn't understand so we left. I surely hope it wasn't because we were black.

Tombonis claims to be an upscale dining restaurant. Although when I visited this establishment I was fairly disappointed on the upscale claim because it was far from it. This restaurant is set up and an old house. The dining room is kitchen tables and chairs. I was looking for an upscale dining establishment, i could have saved money and ate at home and had close to the same experience. The food on the other hand looks good. Although I don't recommend...

There was a $7 cover charge for music that was so loud you could not have a conversation at your table without yelling. The food was very bland and over priced. The service was the worst. We never got our appetizers and when our food finally came out we ask about the appetizers and found out she forgot to turn it in. Next we ordered dessert. After about 30 minutes we were told that they were out of the desert we ordered. It took that long to realize that? Then the last straw was receiving our check only to realize they had changed us for the appetizers we never received! Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant.

This place would be great if they sold it to someone who knew how to run a restaurant. They're like a girl you think is pretty until she opens her mouth & that nasty attitude comes spewing out. You better hope you dressed to code, don't unwittingly bring your child, reserve a table in their empty restaurant, don't expect to sit outside in their lit up area at one of the many empty picnic tables & don't get judged by their snooty staff who aren't even dressed as well as they expect their customers to be. It's a hit or miss with this place.

Sad conversation with the owner has lost our business. Eaten here many times, the food is delicious probably the best in town. I wanted to take my mom here who’s in town for the week to show her this great restaurant. I called to set a reservation for 7 guests for this evening. I was told 7:00 was available & she was even going to see if she could put together an earlier seating. I mentioned our 4-year son would be 1 of the 7 guests, should it help with possible seating arrangements. At this point she informed me “infant kids” are not allowed & implied she would not be able take our reservation. Unfortunately all 4-year olds do not know how to behave at a dinner table. Completely valid & understood, aside from the hard fact that my family & 4-year old have eaten here a 1/2 dozen times or better. Funniest part is they give him colors, allow him to color on the paper table cloth & always embrace his presence.
