Great Restaurant! The service is superb and the food is a beautiful and very flavorful! The presentation on each plate was mouth watering! This is a family owned and operated restaurant, and props go to this family! Their attention to detail is what will keep their customers coming back, I know I will be back again!

I’m from San Diego so I’m a Mexican food snob… I’ve been pretty disappointed with the Mexican food up here in northern Cali… but the Diego burrito was by far the best thing I’ve had since I’ve been here! I’m looking forward to going back!

Been going to Agava for years. That should say something right there. I prefer t he shrimp burritos, but have enjoyed many items off the menu.

Our first time here. The service was excellent 👌🏽 the food 😋 delicious! The drinks authentic. My favorite was our server. He was attentive, knowledgeable and enthusiastic to help me choose the best meal for my first time. Cannot wait to go back for the tequila ice cream 🤩

My dad brought me to this lovely restaurant for a Sunday lunch. The beautiful art and culture of Oaxaca greets you as you enter in. It felt welcoming and calm. The staff was friendly and our server, Mari, had a wonderful sense of humor. She teased my dad in the most endearing way. My husband and my dad had the chimichanga and I had the chicken avocado salad with mango. My said that the chimichanga was the best he had ever had. I felt the same way about my sale. The food was so fresh and full of flavor that I forced myself to have the tequila ice cream. I will be back to eat here the next time I am in town.

Wow.... Stopped in for lunch with the wifey, been a while since I've been here. Service was friendly and fast. Food was fantastic! I had the Coastal bowl, wife had Carnitas. Both were great, my bowl had several pieces of grilled fish along with veggies and avocado and some good cheese. It was exceptionally good Wife has Carnitas plate and said it was delicious, she cleaned the plate Chips and salsa were fresh also, pretty good salsa, nice and spicy. Food is very affordable also. We will definitely be going back next time we are up in Healdsburg

Excellent customer service! We came in for a few drinks and were greeted by the nicest servers. When our margarita came out, it seemed to be missing the Grand Marnier we had asked for. The staff fixed it immediately, and to our surprise, they even took it off the bill without us asking. That kind of genuine service is rare to find, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The drinks are amazing my favorite is the Corazon Healdsburg. Every experience we have had here has been top notch!

I had fish taco and looked pretty tasty n delicious. Our kids enjoyed the food and juice both. Server was knowledgeable and gave us a lot of lot of great recommendations. The environment was open, peaceful, and relaxing even when we were in the outside area.

I had the burrito Al pastor, amazing! But Never had burrito Al pastor with mushrooms, potatoes and queso fresco! Going back again tomorrow! Before I head back to Southern California tomorrow night. Northern California is beautiful! I’ll be back!

My wife and I stopped in for lunch during our 25th anniversary vacation. Matteo at the bar was super friendly and we ended up spending about an hour and a half chatting with him. You have to try his grandmother‘s mole. We had chips and salsa and the memelitas which were super good. They have a great selection of Mezcal and tequila. We were a little hesitant at first because they were in a plaza, but we didn’t regret it! Family business that’s been around for 16 years! Thank you so much for celebrating our 25th Matteo!!!

Service was great, a lil slow on getting food out. Appetizer was the best thing we ordered. Ordered molcajete for main dish and wasn't told to mix it. It was decent, but we figured out at the end that it would've been better to mix. When paying our check, we realized that we were charged double the sales tax amount. The Server attempted to fix it, however, it needed to be fixed a couple times. They didnt know how to alter the system. Watch your check, we probably would not return.

Came here because all the reviews raved about it. Got seated right away. The chips and salsa was served right away. It took so long for us to get water, a cleaning lady eventually came over and asked us for water. The chips had no flavor. The bowls for salsa were so small that after two bites with chips you'd have to wait awhile for a refill. Took awhile for us to order. I ordered the taco salad, and asked what dressing it came with. The server had no idea and went to ask. She came back saying it came with none and said I could add some for an extra charge. I didn't want my salad dry so I said okay. When the salad came it came with stuff on it so I was charged extra for no reason. The tables were so close together inside that when a server went to give other tables food they'd bump ours constantly. Pretty loud in there and the music that was played way the same beat the whole time. It took so long for us to get the check. By thos time I was so ready to leave. Food was okay nothing super great. Would not be back if back in town.

Friendly staff. However, they overcharge.... I ordered a soda. Asked for a to go cup for rest of my drink. Server said she'd get me a new cup of soda. Didn't bother to tell me she charged for a new drink! Also, the beef meat cuts in burritos were fatty and tough. Told server; she didn't seem surprised.

This place we as super disappointing. Google suggested this place as similar to Los Bandidos de Carlos y Mickey's in El Paso TX. Which is one of the best period. This food looked amazing but when I went to take a bite ... No seasoning no flavor. I think it is an attempt at making it healthy but Mexican food isn't supposed to be healthy it's supposed to be robust and spicy! I also got a michelada and it tasted like cornona and maybe a spoonful of v8. I will not return here for a meal again.

Him how to start this review I had a very high expectations for the Mexican restaurant and when we arrived in Hillsboro we were expecting it to be in the queue part of town but it was actually in a Safeway strip mall so that that was a surprise but it was OK because when we got inside we thought that the atmosphere was quite authentic we went to Mexico recently and he reminded us of a Taqueria/Miss calorie are in Mexico so that was good. Now let’s talk about the service so when we got in we had to wait for a table even though I saw a couple saw a couple empty tables however it was OK because it was only a 15 minute wait but I was rather hungry because it was pretty late and we had been driving for a while so I just wanted to sit down but when we sat down they did give us chips and I thought the chips were fresh but they probably were just chips reheated so they’re OK they were chips and I ate a lot of the chips because the food service well let’s talk about the food service and the food service was slow I ordered Horchata and took a long time for them to fill the glass and I thought it would be bigger but then it wasn’t that big but it was good overall good that’s good because it took a long time for the food to come out so I just had for a bit. Yeah yeah I guess so we went so we waited 15 minutes to get a table that I drinks within five minutes or so but then we waited probably 30 minutes to get a food which is pretty long for what we wanted to just standard food when the food came out it was all right. But it price was probably 25-what the food was I got a fish taco and then it was covered and stuff but then when I dug around in my fish taco it turns out the fish was really small like if you think about the size of a taco and then you think about how much fish is on it it was probably like 1/8 of the taco was fish which is not that high when you’re paying like I’ll you know quite a bit of money for fish tacos to have an eighth of a tacos portion and then most of it was cabbage and pineapple so there was an a lot of fish on the fish taco it’s mostly just filler and then I also ordered the Malay which was good but the serving of the Molly was quite small and then it came with beans and rice and radish which was an ordinary nothing special and then they almost forgot my tortillas so I Saul the tortillas and I made eye contact with the tortillas but then they didn’t bring the tortillas right away I just was staring at the tortillas for like 10 minutes just looking at them knowing that they were mine but I didn’t have them on my table so I was tortilla less for sometime before the tortillas got to me. What else to say about this restaurant the decor decor was was good and there’s a lot of Mezcal however I didn’t have the Mezcal I had half of corona instead but the rim of the glass for the granite was too spicy so I couldn’t finish y’all I could taste was spice chili not Corona stop
