We were looking for a good breakfast restaurant and Mexicano Grill was the most recommended local place. What a delightful surprise. Both traditional Mexican dishes, and a great breakfast array, and all was excellent. If you are in south Waco, this is the place to try.

We had dinner here tonight and our server Gerardo was amazing! He was super friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made us feel really welcome. He kept everything running smoothly, and made sure our family had a wonderful time. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests. We’ll definitely be back and asking for him again!

Jefferson is awesome!!! He is very friendly, helpful, attentive, and accommodating. This makes the food tastes better and the experience memorable. Margaritas were GOOD!!!

we went here for lunch and we were greeted by our server within just a few minutes. we got our drinks pretty quickly too. when we got the chips and salsa and queso and all the sauces were sooooooo yummy. i ordered the cheese enchiladas and the people i went with got the light plate and quesabirria tacos and all the food was really yummy. our food came out in less than ten minutes. i very much recommend this place, every time i go it’s always so good.

Don't know how or why we've went this long without trying this place but I have definitely been missing out! Everything was delicious. My son (10 years old) was a huge fan of the wings, said they were way better than Wingstop. We were given plenty of food to fill us up. We had 2 kids meals, 5 adult meals, 5 soft drinks and 2 appetizers and spent around $130. Walked out with 3 to go boxes!

OMGOODNESS, this food is soooo good! The margaritas..Delish! We ordered the Tacos AL Carbon and 2 House Margaritas, 1/w sangria&strawberry to go. I gave service 3 stars bc they did mess up on the order in a few ways which was frustrating to find out once home. If you like Mexican food like me, theirs is good

I didn't know what to get so I got Tres Amigos. After eating I really wanted to relax but while eating the server dropped off the ticket. I'd only been there 30 minutes and maybe eating for 20. So I know when you order from the drink menu sometimes you would get better service but I was on the way to work! So I put my taco into a box with my chips and went on my way to work. At home I opened up my box to eat my taco. All it was was beef in a tortilla. Kind of disappointed now. Too tired to call in and say something and its 10:06pm.

SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILY DON'T GO!! 12l21 - my daughter is autistic and on a routine . I specifically order ahead of time and in a certain way to ensure her meal is perfect. I tried them again after my review in March and they are the WORST at quality food, order taking, and overall logistics. I asked for cheese enchiladas with cheese on the side. They put the cheese on top of the Enchiladas, and the tortillas soaked it in. I paid $20 for cheese enchiladas that my daughter won't eat now. She'll eat the brand and cheese, though. I did call and I was told I was wrong because she took the order correctly; all I wanted was for the cheese to be refunded to my card. The only good place in this town is MI CASITA! 3/26 I posted this review a month ago and no one has commented or reached out. There has to be better places than this! Original post: Came for my birthday meal with my daughter and parents. I ordered an OJ for my daughter thinking it came with the kid's meal, but was told it would be $6. So I tried for a lemonade, and that didn't come with the kid's meal either... Only soda, apparently. I ordered steak and eggs - medium rare with over easy eggs. The meal also comes with beans and breakfast potatoes. My steak was well done (but still tasty), eggs were over medium, and the potatoes were cold. I did ask for a plate of warm potatoes and you can see what they did with their potatoes when I asked for that (left are the cold ones and the right are the super fried ones). Also, there's a pic of the steak. I wanted to say something about the steak and eggs, but after what they did with flash frying the potatoes, that didn't seem like it would help anything. Welp, Happy birthday to me!

PROS: street tacos were excellent. large and tasty. Enchildas were good. staff attentive, polite and accurate. Prices reasonable to good. DISCOUNT FOR CASH!!! -- CONS: Salsa is awful. too hot for most people. they know that which explains the tiny amount they bring. not sure the refried beans are even beans. Very, very noisy especially when the staff stops doing what they should be doing and bursts out yelling and clapping -VERY loudly- to sing happy birthday. Don't sit near the kitchen door unless you have ear plugs. (isn't it time retire this practice?). Jalapenos had a strange slightly sweetish flavor and no heat at all. Wife opened the restroom door and didn't enter due to the smell.---- Overall I'd recommend using the drive through for a to go order, get the street tacos and charro beans, -after stopping down the street for some salsa and go home where you can hear your partner when they speak and enjoy the beef fajita street tacos. edit...followed my advice and picked up street tacos with cilantro and onions at the drive through. after 20 minute drive home, no cilantro or onions. left off 2/3 of my order. I really wanted to like this place but guess it head on down the street.

I just went up there because I ordered a burrito with only 3 ingredients rice eggs and bacon. You couldn't find bacon on that burrito with a magnifying glass.. Went back up there they apologize said they give me another one they put 1 slight misleasy strip of bacon and it was the most fatty gooey piece of bacon I've ever seen in my life the burrito that gave me back was even smaller as well.... For a $9 burrito absolutely not worth it at this point. Don't bother going. They also gave me salsa that tasted sour so they don't even check their salsas.
