Great neighborhood spot, diner with a Latin twist. The cheeseburger deluxe was flavorful and cooked to perfection.. this steak was juicy and delicious. The fried plantains with some sort of house sauce were amazing. This was our first time visiting this location. I will update this review as I try different meals in the future.

We were staying just one day/night while in transit near JFK, and our place was sort of close to this restaurant. We came here for breakfast/lunch and had a great meal here! Service was friendly, efficient, and the food was delicious. I could tell a lot of neighborhood folks and locals were there, which is always a nice sign.

The Recovering Know-it-All

Lovely outdoor seating in the back. We went at an optimal time on a Tuesday mid-morning before the lunch rush. Had the patio to ourselves and could talk without interrupting anyone else. Beautiful day and the table umbrella was sufficient to block the glare of the sun. Every morning I passed by the restaurant until one day I decided to enter, until today I am still visiting this place, I feel at home and when I go on a trip I feel that I need to go to this place for breakfast. The atmosphere, the energy, the guys, the food is out of this world and above all how cheap it is to eat here, it is a super nice moment every morning here and I am always grateful that there is this type of place where they make you feel special every day !!!

I ordered a chicken gyro pita with lettuce, tomato, onion, tzatziki, coleslaw, and a pickle. Unfortunately, the taste was not good because of the meat. It did not taste like real chicken or even like regular meat, it tasted like a pressed, highly processed product. I checked the menu on Google, and it simply says “gyro,” which was confusing. I was expecting chicken, but the meat I received was very thinly sliced, heavily seasoned, and not clearly identifiable. The flavor was closer to pork mixed with lamb and fat, and it did not taste fresh. In my opinion, if this is a processed gyro-style chicken product, that should be clearly explained. The lack of clarity about the type of meat made this a very disappointing experience. Otherwise, the place looks nice, and the staff working there were very friendly and pleasant.

$2 for 3 slivers of avocado is Wild. The coleslaw should state that it has peppers ,,food allergies. I couldn't eat it. The oatmeal had a funny taste like it was cooked with other food

But today was the last time i order from here. I had my Cesar salad delivered with no chicken and few days ago and today got none of the side order bacon. Sometimes the missing item doesn’t even make sense: how do you send out an egg platter with no egg?? If you don’t have the time to deal with customer service do not order from here.
