I always come to this Applebees location with my family for different meals. Compared to other Applebees on Long Island, this one never disappoints. Service was great as per usual. We loved our waitress Kayla as well!

We especially love to come here on Veterans Day. It's just a very nice experience all around. Veterans talking at different tables, being able to thank others for their service and I know my father feels honored. Mary Anne is always our favorite and the manager is always to gracious walking around shaking hands.

This is really a great establishment with consistently tasty food. You can't beat the neighborhood atmosphere, I have gotten to know some of the waitstaff personalities well. Manager Prog is always friendly and attentive with our orders, and I appreciate how clean the place is even though its busy. This is my go to place.

We came here for dinner tonight as a family and had a great time. The food was delicious and the drinks were very yummy. The server Molly was very attentive and kind. She was amazing. I went to Applebees with my mom for lunch. The place was very clean and the hostess was very nice. Our server was friendly and took our order right away. We ordered the 2 for 25. We got the spinach artichoke dip as the appetizer, and for our entrees, my mom got the classic cheeseburger and I got the chicken finger platter. The spinach artichoke dip came out fast and was nice and warm. Shortly after we received our food and it was delicious and warm. The fries were nicely seasoned, the bun to the hamburger was toasted to perfection and the chicken fingers were seasoned nicely. The staff and managers were friendly and were very attentive if we needed more napkins and/or refills on our drinks. Overall experience was great! Highly recommend coming here!

8/28/24 Had dinner here tonight and we really enjoyed it. We got the "two for $32" which was a great value for our money. (Two entrees, two salads OR one shared appetizer). I had the 6 oz. This Applebees location was one of the best I’ve ever been too! The ambient was amazing, food was excellent, and overall it was very clean and well lit compared to other Applebees locations. We were greeted by our lovely server, Angela, who had a bright smile and answered all our questions and made any necessary changes due to some of my wife’s food allergies. Been while since I visited a location. The host was friendly and quick in seating. The waiter was energetic, friendly and very attentive to my table. The food was ok and great. The riblets were my least favorite of my meal. I'm not sure if they were charred under sauce. The shrimp was great.

Only thing management could do better is Sunday Football. Bar crowded. Restaurant crowded and he has bartender waiting on tables too. Poor girl running around. Staff puts all dirty glasses on bar too. Bring to back and have washed on kitchen.

Good food, attentive service and a family friendly atmosphere. Their menu includes chicken dishes such as the savory Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp entree with garlic mashed potatoes. The hand battered Fish & Chips platter comes with fries and cole slaw as standard. However, you can substitute garlic green beans or mashed potatoes for the side, if you prefer. Appetizers are also a very good option. The Crunchy onion rings come barbecue sauce on the side. Also, the mini pub brew pretzel bites are fantastic. They come with white cheddar beer dipping sauce as well as a tangy honey dijon sauce. They also have delicious wraps and an Oriental salad which looks very good and is also a healthier option. They offer a special right now which is the 2 for $22 option. This includes an appetizer to share and 2 entrees. Applebees' also offer margaritas, flavored Iced teas and lemonade including the new Blue Raspberry flavored drink. So many options to satisfy one's hungry palette here. Enjoy.

Waited almost 20 mins no one come to ask for the order. On leaving the manager or the supervisor says thank you. We always come here. Now no more poor service. Bad attitude of the waiter and the supervisor.

Got to the restaurant at 10, and left after 12am. Drinks took 20 minutes, food even longer, and dessert even longer. In top of this, all the food was freezing cold. I don’t wanna shoot the place down as a whole. But I came here for lunch with my son on a Saturday afternoon. The male waiter was an absolute useless, moron. Over a half an hour to get my food 25 minutes to get his attention for the check. He spent most of his time fumbling with the computer. Every time he came back to our area he’s trying to fix one screwup or another at each individual table. He never once pays attention to more than one table at a time. Angela provided great service but the chefs screwed her on food. Almost all of our orders were either wrong or cold unfortunately. We also spent about an hour waiting for food and then the chefs said the kitchen was closed so they couldn’t fix our orders. The manager comped a few things but we left hungry.

I wanted to share with you my experience on 8/24/2024 at the Hicksville, NY location. Our server Kayla C was great. She asked us how our meal was twice and was very friendly and personable. My issue was with the food quality. I ordered the Shrimp N Parmesan Sirloin and Kayla asked how I wanted it cooked, I said medium. Unfortunately the Sirloin was cooked well done. The mashed potatoes had no garlic in them and were warm at best, and one third of the broccoli had little black specs on them. Since I was at Applebee’s for a celebration, I opted not to bring it to her attention because I didn’t want to cause a scene and have the order sent back while my party was eating. My issue was 100% the fault of the kitchen staff and not the server. No manager ever came over to the table as I remembered from previous visits. I already reached out via the website and no one responded to me. Let's see if I can get some traction with this review. I don't think I'll be going back to this location again.

I had a long piece of black hair in the Southwest Chicken Bowl. There was one waitress serving all tables. We hardly saw her. The restaurant needs a facelift. Not happy and won’t return here. Going there I had read other people complaining about their tables not being cleaned etc and guess what, as soon as we sat down our arms were sticking to the table. I'm not sure what they use to clean but the tables were super sticky. Anyway we grabbed some napkins and cleaned out table. I ended up trying the classic wings with cheese sticks and I got the first hand experience of almost plastic made cheese. I'll be adding a video here as well of how uncheesy looking the cheese was. Then we ordered their chicken burger with grilled petty with Chipotle mayo on the side and it was nothing like a sandwich I tasted before. Even the Chipotle mayo was something else. I don't know if their standard of making things is so much different than the rest of the world or if the chef is trying to create something new but I never tasted a sandwich that would taste this bad before. No disrespect to the chef and the cooks there but I'd definitely suggest them to try other burgers(I'm not so sure in states but we got Red Robins, Milestones, Browns, Cactus Club, Earls etc in Canada and they all taste amazing). The service wasn't bad but the food just wasn't edible. So much for my friend to get me to try Applebees in NY.

I had a very disappointing experience at Applebee’s. The service was extremely poor — the staff seemed disinterested, inattentive, and unorganized. It took an unusually long time just to place an order, and even longer to get basic items like water or cutlery. What was even more concerning was the state of cleanliness. The restaurant looked filthy, with sticky tables, stained floors, and an overall unhygienic environment. It didn’t feel like a place where food should be served, let alone enjoyed. I expected better from a well-known chain like Applebee’s. Sadly, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it unless they make serious improvements in both cleanliness and customer service.
