I go here for lunch at least once a week, and it's delicious every time. Always ask for the lunch menu, they never offer it in hopes that you'll automatically default to the all-you-can eat options that cost more. It's affordable sushi, so I'm not going to say you'll think you're in Japan because it's so fresh, but it's pretty awesome for some Monday-lunch hour sushi!

This location is so roomy with adequate distance between our table and the others. Their pepper salmon is 👍and their fish was fresh. After eating all the sushi and sashimi, I like to end it with green tea ice cream and fried oreos!

Ordered on Uber Eats. I had a horrible day and asked them if they could make the sashimi/sushi combo all with salmon and they did. Very nice thank you so much!

The food was amazing, one of the greatest tasting sushi I have ever tasted. The sweet potatoe roll was amazing. The mango sauce had such nice flavor. I would definitely come here again.

Sushi Village is my favorite! I've been ordering takeout from them for years and I've finally gone to eat in. The all you can eat is phenomenal. Seriously the finest in japanese cuisine. And the staff is fantastic. Five stars.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food and service is phenomenal. Perfect for large groups. The quality of the sushi is very good and the dessert is included with the all-you-can-eat price. Very large variety of rolls, including simple and fancy rolls!

A set rate for as much sushi as you want. The presentation is great and the staff is super nice. The food itself is pretty good. The fried oreos are a killer, they're too amazing. Be careful about going nuts and ordering too much, the rolls here are more filling than you'd think!

Very nice place to eat with the family. We left feeling quite satisfied. They give you a nice variety to choose from... Soups, salads, appetizers, sushi, sashimi and dessert. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and fast. We had to wait a little toward the end, but I think it was because there was a rush of new people being served. I would probably order a little more on the first run, but we wanted to be careful not to waste. Needless to say, there was zero waste!

They have nice environment and indoor decorations. They have both the indivisual menu and buffet of of $22-24 whatever you eat. I will give 6/10 for the taste of the food. It was pre cooked. They maintain 6 feet distances between each table. And also they have their own parking in the front. The food price was $-$$ and reasonable.

All you can eat is great! The portion sizes make it so you can have seconds and you feel you get your money's worth. The food was delicious and everything was served in an appetizing way. Will definitely be going again.

Always a good dinner at sushi village. Went for the all you can eat, worth every penny. Staff was quick and attentive, also very conscious which is a plus. Every roll was fresh and tasty. The fried oreos are worth ordering even if you're full.

Great a la carte all-you-can-eat sushi spot, no buffet-style sneeze guards required, thankfully. Sushi was fresh and hot apps were tasty. Attentive waitstaff kept an eye on the table to know when to come back for another order. My friends love the deep fried oreos for dessert but a simple scoop of vanilla ice cream on a tempura banana is a perfect ending. You can't go wrong for the price.

Absolutely a great place. The food is authentic, really good. The owner is a pleasure. Anything you order there doesn’t disappoint. All you can eat is well worth it. Love this place. 5 stars Ordered the Party Shushi platter today for my birthday! Just excellent!!! Well worth it. $50 bucks for ten rolls You can’t go wrong.

Was a good meal and definitely a great price for all you get! Service is ok. Sometimes better than other times. The sushi seems freshest on a Monday for some reason. Recommend yes...

Came here for Mother's Day with my family for the AYCE. Service was excellent & food was yummy and came out in a timely manner. My mother was so happy when the staff surprised her with a tulip because it was Mother's Day. We'll definitely be back again! Thank you so much for the pleasant time!

This is a real gem in an unprepossessing location , so don't be put off ! I stopped by to check it out on Tuesday , 12/3/24 while on my way to Fogo de Chao after a dental appointment , having had no breakfast ....... I decided to stay and was happy I did ! The atmosphere was pleasingly oriental : soft Chinese music , relaxing video displays , comfortable seating ( but could use vinyl seat covers ) ...... and an immaculate bathroom . The food was very good , although more fruit variety would be nice , and the little Fujian waitresses attentive and delightful ( in their quiet way ) ...... I would like salt shakers , napkin dispensers and regular utensils on the tables , but Sushi Village follows a set pattern seen all over Long Island , while being so very relaxing , getting so much right that other locales don't . Treat yourself early in the day ; you won't be disappointed .

Best sushi place I've been to! All you can eat sushi at a great price, staffconstantly makes rounds and removes plates off the table immediately after they're clear. Better options and much more quantity of food is brought out per order than other all you can eat sushi places! Hands down one of my favorite places to go!

This is our go-to all you can eat sushi restaurant. I love that it’s centrally located… right on old country Road, in Hicksville. The food is very good too! It’s reasonably priced for all you can eat - my advice is to order those special rolls that cost more à la carte at other restaurants. We are especially fans of the butterfly roll. The service is especially quick.

C
Chris Baker

Really good food! We had both sushi and hot foods and it was delicious

K

The place is really fun with a group. The sushi it's pretty good but the Salmon Sashimi (regular and peppered) is a must-have item!

C
Commissar Adrian

Now you shouldn't expect the highest quality sushi but for an eat-all-you-can location the food was enjoyable and consistent. Recommendations would include the Kalbi beef, the Pink Lady roll, the Dragon roll, and the Summer roll. The Butterfly roll also serves as a good palette cleanser if needed. Service was great especially considering how busy they were for a Thursday night. Staff were also observed wearing masks and actively cleaning tables with disinfectant. All in all it was a good night out and my group of 11 had no complaints. 3 hours of feasting and we all left full and satisfied. What more can you ask for?

Sushi Village is hands down the best all you can eat Sushi spot in Nassau! Large selection of sushi & DELICIOUS appetizers. The staff is super attentive with great service and the atmosphere is super peaceful! The best!

When you pull up, you're not quite sure what to expect. When you get inside, the atmosphere is fine, but who cares? You're there for AYCE sushi which is really good quality and tasty. The service is on point, very attentive and quick. We've been numerous times and it's consistently good. They don't load the rolls up with rice, and brown rice is available upon request.

This place was great, we went a few years ago it was ok but when we went in today they were warm and accommodating. The food was great and it came fast. We loved the appetizers and the sushi’s quality was good. The green tea ice cream was amazing and we also liked the lumpia, gyozas, chicken satay and takoyaki.

The outside looks like a prison complex but the inside is a swanky restaurant for sushi lovers. We came on a Saturday night at ~6:30 pm and were seated right away. The menu features a variety of "from the kitchen" appetizers, like soup, tempera, gyoza, and salads, as well as a large selection of sushi, sashimi, rolls, etc. I thought it was strange how the menu/order slip didn't show the price of anything? Anyways, service was prompt and everything tasted good! We ordered too much sushi and I felt big when leaving!

Kimberly Rodriguez

I've never had complaints the times that I've gone here. The sushi always tastes fresh and the service is pretty quick. It is an over $25 for an all you can eat so definitely go with an appetite and a companion that can help you out. When I have a big appetite for sushi and can offered to splurge a bit this is the place I always go. The service is not going to be the most friendliest but they will get the job done

M

We like their food its delicious, but prices are a bit stip if you order from the menu not buffet. One more thing I need to mention waitresses make you pretty uncomfortable by watching your every move but then you actually need them they are not around.

J
Jake Jakobsen

Basic sushi and all you can eat. The more you eat, the better the value. Clean neat decor with an attentive wait staff. What's not to love? While you're stuffing yourself, try the $10 unlimited sake too. By the time you're done, you'll need a nap.

J
Joe Babinski

All you can eat option was menu-order, not buffet. Sushi was fresh. Price is what you would expect, not the cheapest but not unreasonable by any stretch. Seats are close together, all tables in one room, so it felt a little tight during the crowded hours.

R
Robert deGaulle

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a delight! I probably shouldn't be eating from this place at my age but I love coming back. Staff is great. Some times they wont be the most fresh but the service is always wonderful. There have been many short lived places here in Hicksville, I hope this is one that lasts. My kids and their kids love this place too!

M
Mara Leonardi

I went for the all you can eat lunch special. Food was very good and fresh. Large staff kept my tea filled. The dishes were brought out at a nice pace. Might have cost the same for a similar quantity of food if ordered a la crate, but this is a great way to try new things! I was too shy to ask until the end, so here is what I learned: order as you go. You pay extra for what you don't eat, though they let me take it home for $4 — they charge by the piece for "extra". You can order just 1 piece of something. If you like it, order more. Yum!

This is my local go-to place for all you can eat sushi. Been many times and it always seems pretty fresh, and the service is good as well. Good selection of fish as well as cooked appetizers, noodles, etc.

Great place, good service . The batter is really thick on the tempura so when I start eating it I get too full for sushi when it arrives. Ice cream is individually scooped and packaged for covid reasons. Very good overall for infection precautions

R
Ralph Fraumeni

Salmon and soft shell crab roll were not great but it is AYCE so.... Everything else was very good.

Z
Z Kad

Food was great, all the fish tasted fresh and everything was prepared to order. Some items did come out different than expected. Spicy salmon sashimi was chopped rather than the standard sashimi slices. That may have been customer error. Service was quick and attentive and the atmosphere is high quality though it can get loud and it’s some larger parties. Overall a high quality AYCE sushi restaurant.

J
J. M

Good sushi and sashimi. .The all you can eat is good and selections are good..Service was fast and friendly. .The Tempura Oreos are killer. Anyone who enjoys decent sushi and sashimi at the all you can eat at $19.99 weekdays should look into this place. .Definitely coming back soon. Update 6/20/23: Service still friendly and attentive..after pandemic pricing as everything else has risen sharply.. Salmon kind of tasteless lately and sushi rice not starchy enough to hold it together properly and not a bit of rice wine vinegar used as it should making it bland and not proper sushi rice.. Price is still competitive with most AYCE sushi spots.. Still my go to spot but could use a tad of improvement as stated..

This AYCE place is very well decorated and it seems family owned. The food is on average just like regular all you can eat sushi. They also serve cocktails 🍹 which is a surprise. Have to say their service is great they really care about the customer and they are very helpful. Free parking lot is a plus. I would definitely come back again if I feel like to have quick sushi dinner.

Sushi Village is great for anyone who's just craving sushi. You have two sheets of paper where you can check off anything you would like. The first sheet consists of different soups or appetizers (chicken katsu, miso soup, tempura, etc.), and the second sheet has a wide selection of rolls. The appetizers come in about 5 minutes, but the sushi comes in 20-25 minutes. Food isn't overly unique but enough to satisfy your sushi cravings.

Updated: COVID-19 restrictions changed the experience of dining (similarly to other restaurants) and safety precautions are properly and effectively enforced. Face mask worn by all staff and diners, a 2hr dining limit, and immediate cleaning and sanitizing of the dining area. Also utilized disposable plates and small paper trays for diners. Patrons/diners separated by adequate social distance spaces. Sushi bar is closed, only tables and booths are available for diners as well as take-out service. Service and food quality were similar as before, efficient and very good. All-you-can-eat sushi was great (M-Th $21.99 or Fri-Sun $23.99 + tax per person). Friendly and fast service. Clean, quiet, and lovely dining atmosphere with ample parking. Cost a little more than some other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, but the quality of the food/seafood is better. Great that it's shareable, similar to a family style dining. Some sushi rolls were great and delicious. Some had "accompaniment" sauces that were either too sweet or just ok. Great dishes I tried included the BBQ squid, fried calamari, rock shrimp tempura, kani salad, salmon skin salad, dragon roll, yellowtail jalapeno roll, spicy dragon, sashimi (consisting of yellowtail, red snapper, eel, spicy tuna, white salmon, and egg custard), and several others. The green tea ice cream was delicious. Tempura Oreo was good, some may love it and some may just be ok with it -- simply try it for yourself. There were a couple of items I may not get again because they are bit humdrum and forgettable (I actually forgot the specific names). Overall, it was a great experience. Will dine in again.

When: Saturday at 6pm Party Size: 5 Came here for my dad's birthday. This has been our go-to AYCE spot since it's close to home. It was fairly empty at the time we got here but filled up over the next hour. Food came out quick and the waitress kept coming to fill up tea and water. They also give a free dinner if it's your birthday week ($20+ saved). The sushi is solid here. Sashimi is easily the best bang for your buck. Very fresh fish. The salmon and albacore tuna were my favorites. Food: 8/10 Ambiance: 8/10 Overall: 8/10 I'll always come back as long as the service and food stay the same quality!

Friend and I were seated immediately on a busy night, you could tell they had their hands full but were still attentive. Place was clean and offers the option to sit at the sushi bar. All you can eat for $20 was a great deal (literally includes anything on the menu). Sushi and tempura were good but i must say I've had better. Decent place to go to when you have no plans, would go again if i was nearby with no better options.

H

My friend got all you can eat and I ordered from the regular menu. I wanted to try literally a sip of my friends udon soup and the employee said I couldn’t even try a sip. After that the employees were watching us like hawks and it was very uncomfortable. When my friend ordered a second portion of the beef teriyaki it was smaller than the first and mostly fat, not meat. The food came out at all different times so we weren’t really eating together and I finished my meal before my friend. Overall sushi and menu is full of options, however service needs improvement.

K
Kat Kappel Turnil

Amazing food but bad service. There is this one really mean girl. We put our drinks at the end of the table to refill but instead the girl puts the empty cups them away and tells us we can’t order any more food. We weren’t even asking for more food. We were waiting for the check. So petty.

W
William Kucmierowski (Brimstone)

Food itself is great. Pricing isn't bad. Most staff is good; however a few unreasonable and borderline rude. Been there in a few occasions - quality of food is consistent, not my first choice concerning wait staff.

D

Around 3.5 stars. The waiters were very attentive and great. The problem with this place is that masa sushi exists so close and offers a better quality experience of nearly the same system for a lower price ($28 compared to $22 for lunch sushi buffet at the time of this review). The rice from the sushi tastes imo less fresh/good comparatively and the food in general was made a bit sloppily. Sauce on the tofu and sushi is kind of slapped on and one piece of tofu didn't even get any sauce on it. As for the sauce on the sushi some parts had heavy amounts of sauce and some parts light amounts. Just drive to masa sushi nearby.

J
Justin Bayoneto

Decent quality food for an All You Can Eat place. However the pricing has definitely gone up in recent years and the service can be on/off: sometimes they're attentive and accommodating, and sometimes it's like the waiters are nowhere to be found. However, be warned that if not everyone in your party is participating in All You Can Eat, they are very strict and will call you out if they believe you are sharing or have not completed your meal.

Quiet budget friendly sushi place. Food is acceptable for the price. Service is ok (depend on who is on duty that day). The interior is clean and nice.

R

Sushi village was a place my friends and I would go to eat at for a reasonable price back in the day (for an all you can eat). I have noticed over The past two years that the quality of the food and the price of the food is no longer reasonable. I also have to say that the servers are always hard to get their attention whenever you need your drink refilled. I hope in the future with the rise in the all you can prices comes fresher food with better quality.

D
Dani K

We did the all-you-can-eat option, which was a bit more expensive than other sushi places we've tried. The quality and taste were good, but they use too much rice in their rolls and on their sushi pieces. The quality of sushi was good, and the fish was very fresh tasting. They have a good variety on their menu for the all-you-can-eat option. The service was good - they were very attentive about water filling and taking away finished plates. I told them about my allergy and they asked about every roll as they were making it, as well as informed me that some of the sauces had sesame oil. I ordered my roll a certain way, which was ignored, but it did not come with sesame on it. I would recommend this place more if it was more reasonably priced.

Food 4/5 Service 3/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Went with my family and a child. It was great until we asked if they could give us a scissor to cut meat for the child. One of the waitresses began to treat us differently afterwards. She started with dropping and sliding the dishes we ordered, ignored us 3 times that I had to walk up to them to request for stuff, avoided eye contact despite seeing us raising hand. At first we thought it was just her, but she was smiling at other tables. She was only rude to our table, which is not a great feeling. We were so confused. I’m giving 3/5 service because the other waitress with glasses and short hair was very accommodating to us.

S
Sherry Xie

We waited 30 minutes just to receive one salad and two soups. About a third of the tables around us had no food or were only served appetizers. It’s obvious the place is severely understaffed, and customer experience doesn’t seem to be a priority.

The food was alright, average for a sushi place! Service was really good and the outside looks shady but inside looks like a respectable sushi restaurant! Great if you live in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here from far away!

Came during a weekday lunch. The staff was attentive since there was only one other party in the whole restaurant. There was a funny funk in the air when we arrived. I did get use to it after a few minutes. I use to frequent this place and loved the food. This time everything that came out of the kitchen felt microwaved, over cooked , and fried items were extra greasy. The sashimi was good. The rolls were mid. Overall it was quite a disappointment. Unlike what it was back in the days.

It’s an all you can eat sushi restaurant. We went there on a weekday. So we didn’t have to make any reservations. They have two different menu options Chinese and Sushi.. both of the menu have various options to choose from..but taste wise I loved the Chinese foods rather than the sushi..

Sushi was fair. The fried foods were very greasy. The Kani salad was okay. The salmon skin salad was soso. The sashimi looks very nice and fresh. The fish look fresh and tastes fresh. Taste is lacking a bit. Bland was the theme. High quality fish. Everything was good just something was missing. One of the better all you can eat places with top notch fish quality. I'd say much better than the competition so far. Everyone working there is clearing tables some with gloves and some without are also serving food and not washing hands. Service is okay/soso friendly but not super attentive. You need to get their attention because you will be sitting there. Soda tasted okay. Sushi presentation was very good. It was either a hit or a miss and it felt like a miss. I don't know if I'll ever go here again. There's parking which is very convenient. The restaurant looked very nice. All you can eat Japanese food. All you can eat sushi. Basically a all you can eat buffet just order off the menu and stop eating before you stop breathing. All you can eat for $29 per adult and $9.99 per child under 3 they said and charged. Sushi village is decent.

G
Gary

Sushi is very average at best here. There are much better ayce sushi places. This is probably one of the work ayce’s. Service isn’t the best here. Waiter poured water into my cup of soda and charges extra. This is the only place I know of that doesn’t give free refills. BEWARE!!!

C

My friend and I went after we heard good reviews. The entrance was kind, but the hostesses are forgetful and rude. We ordered a yakitori and when it hadn’t arrived, we reminded a hostess. Someone else brought it to us, so when the other hostess arrived and saw- she sucked her teeth. We ignored it until someone tried offering us the second plate and again, the same hostess came and sucked her teeth! Afterwards, we ordered Oreo tempura and vanilla ice cream. The ice cream never arrived so we went to the front desk to pay and leave. Both of us noticed the ice cream sitting on the freezer behind two hostesses who were too busy laughing to notice us waiting. We paid and somehow they had the nerve to ask if we left the tip on the table. I was too stunned to react and my friend handed off a $5 bill for a check that came out to over $50. In short, the food was good, the service was cheap.

D

The food was ok, not worst I’ve eaten or best I had, but the service was really bad. The Waitresses were not friendly at all and seemed bothered when we asked for anything. My husband got the all you can eat and I got from the menu. The waitresses were watching us as hawks but when we asked for something seemed to not see us. Our 4 year old tried five fries, tops, the kid had already eaten and is not really keen into food she doesn’t know. The waitress had the audacity of charging a whole kids buffet menu for the French fries she tried. For the sake of argument let’s say she ate the entire small dish of French fries, which she did not, they wanted to charge $14.99 for that! They refunded me $10, but we go to restaurants to eat good food and have a good time and not have to be distrustful of they charge and be fighting about French fries! Advise to owners, improve on service and just let people know you’ll be charging for the buffet price to everyone who sits on the table. Personally I’m not going or ordering from there.

g

The rolls had significantly more white rice on them than is typical. That bothered me because it felt like they were trying to maximize profit by filling me up with white rice. I didn’t appreciate that and will choose another all you can sushi restaurant next time.

c

So first off the restaurant was really nice, and felt welcoming, where as employees weren’t talkative and there wasn’t a proper introduction, or name stated or how the menu worked, they just placed what we needed down and continue onto another task. I’m understanding that there job is quick efficient, but where my concerns come in is , while walking in me and my family weren’t aware every dish was over 25$ and the menu in front wasn’t in bold so being out of state it didn’t catch our eye, and the sign was facing away from us , it was not clear about how much everything cost. Really would have been helpful for a more deeper context. Ended up spending 100$ (Im from Houston and you can grab way cheaper sushi and it still taste the same.) Another complaint that made me upset was that not only was the food so good I rate a 10/10 but while I was eating I found a sort of white worm like substance in my fish and i wish I got a picture of it , it really scared me and i want to give a warning out there to people who are trying sushi and are not aware of what your consuming! Please take in consideration! Thank you.

They don't have pricing on the menus and they didn’t even give a real menu it was just a littler paper and we circled what we ordered. Service was slow. They overcharged us

I went with my boyfriend for dinner a few days ago. The price is decent, and the service was fine, nothing terrible. However, the raw fish that we ordered was definitely not fresh. Some of the salmon tasted like rubber, and most of the raw fish was warm. The raw fish and avocado used in one of the special rolls we got also tasted strange, all of this resulting in both of us getting extremely upset stomachs after. I don’t think we will be returning to eat here.

Went for lunch on a Friday, though it’s normally good, this time the fish wasn’t fresh and the rice tasted like day old rice. It was hard and unappetizing. To make matters worse, the waitress denied this being a possibility. Ended up with an upset stomach for the rest of the day. Won’t be returning anymore.

We’ve been to sushi village a handful of times in the past. This was our first bad experience - the raw fish was warm and didn’t taste fresh, the rice tasted old and clearly not fresh. We tried to explain to the waitress why we weren’t eating more and she completely disregarded what we were saying. The chef behind the counter was also muttering insults at us as we walked out. Won’t be coming back here again.

They stared at me the whole time I ate and forced me to tip a certain amount. You sit right next to where they cook up the food and it smells horrid. Don’t ever come here they lie about how much you pay.

I did not even go in, looks completely run down and the place still has Christmas decorations up, it’s June.

Roaches!!!! Yes! We found roaches in our salad. Disgusting! This place gets zero stars. Horrible customer service after finding them. The manager told us he'll make it up by giving us a "fantastic desert"....ehh no! I would never come back here again. We didn't even make a big scene! We should've. But we respected the business.

I was very disappointed in this location. I have been to the Bayside Queens location so I was expecting better from here., as I pulled up I knew there might be an issue as the outside of the place is very run down looking. So is the inside of the establishment. Whenever I placed an order for multiple kitchen items I only got part of what I asked for. Most of the sushi chefs and Cooks was standing behind the counter texting instead of making food. Sushi was passable. But much too warm for my liking. All things being equal, stick to the Bayside location or find another place.

I have repeatedly tried to give this place a chance to impress me....but I may have set the bar too high. I am all for all you can eat sushi, however, I expect to get good sushi for my money. Sushi Village falls horribly short. The sushi at times was a little slimy, while the cut of the sushi to veggie ratio was constantly uneven. Even with writing down exactly what you choose to eat the staff manages to get the order wrong. I ate here on last Tuesday and prior to that its been about 3 months. Apparently the waitress believes she recognized me as not finishing my meal and inquired about this, which proves my point about the food quality being poor. It also does not appear that even though I have left a 20% gratuity on each visit, the business fails to appreciate their patrons. Eat here at your own peril....

Terrible Resturant with terrible customer service. The manager refused to help after charging me an extra tip when I paid the tip in cash. 0/10 not recommended unless you want to get ripped off.

Service is absolutely terrible. Myself and my friend ordered 4 types of sushi rolls that we never received. We had to order Kani salad 4 times in order to receive it. Either the hostess is crossing out our orders on the sheet of paper or the chiefs do not know how to read numbers.. Overall the sushi is good but do not recommend

Never Again. We have eaten there as a family many times. The other night, the food was below par. That can happen. No big deal. But since we left much of the sushi on the platter because it wasn't eatable, we were literally scolded for ordering and not eating. Even after we explained it wasn't good we just received dirty looks and were told, "Next time don't order so much" and "Maybe it wasn't good because you weren't hungry." They just lost a family of four for good.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience here. The food quality was below expectations, with sushi that was too warm, overly rice-heavy, and lacking variety in taste. What made the experience worse were the derogatory comments made by the waitress in Chinese, assuming we couldn't understand. It was uncomfortable to hear her complain about every customer and also take our check/tip then complain to other staff members that "it’s not enough" and to "never come back" right in front of us. While the majority of the staff were fine, it was disappointing that they didn't address or discourage this behavior. If you choose to dine here, be aware that such behavior may occur. Overall, the sushi was average, similar to sushi at a buffet. I will not be coming back.

The food was great, but when it came time to pay the bill and leave a tip, the waitress got upset that I didn't leave more. The bill was $74 so I rounded it up to $82 since I usually tip what double the tax is. It's not like we were the only customers in the whole restaurant, it was a busy night by the looks of it. The entitlement that waitress had to complain about me not giving her more money is disgusting, I was so close to just taking back the receipt and replacing what I originally put with a 0.

This is one the worst experiences that I encountered dining at AYCE. from the waiters to food quality is all way below mediocre. They don't refill tea, provide option to order more and food that you do get upon first arrival falls apart and rice outweighs the filling. Hot options are bland. Save your money and go else where

I don't like leaving bad reviews. However all it takes is for one person to ruin it for the rest of the staff. I have been going here for 4 years. The staff and food is amazing. Unfortunately today when placing my orders for a party tray, the lady Nikki over the phone was rude. Telling me to hurry up and " you don't know what you want , I am very busy call back later I have real customers to help!" I was in shock, I said you do realize I always order from you guys almost every weekend. Why are you speaking to me this way, she said I have no time for you. Call back later I am to busy. I told her I know the owner and I am sure she's not going to be happy, she said I don't care she won't fire me. Such a shame to be so bold and brave.

Been to plenty of sushi places /AYCE and this is by far the most BLAH place.. Nothing had flavor .. Most rolls were falling apart before it can reach the mouth or the plate . BBQ Squid was not fully prepared as it was EXTREMELY crunchy 🤮🤮🤮.. Never again we coming here again!!!!!

Not only is this restaurant the most unprofessional with the rudest staff, but it is beyond filthy. There are living quarters (presumably the staff/are they even legal to work or be in this country ?) in this building near the food prep and dining areas. Visible rodent traps, sticky fly tape along the walls, and under tables. The sushi chefs when given customer orders will refuse to make checked items when it’s an AYCE, if I’m paying then you’re making it. When had to be told again these are the rolls I want, these so called “chefs” will huff and puff, openly gossip with each other about the customers and act as if you’re bothering them to make the rolls you ordered, plan to eat and pay for. It became really uncomfortable and Who can enjoy their meal after this kind of rude customer service and a filthy establishment. There are plenty of other AYCE sushi places, don’t let the cheaper price persuade you to come here. Its only a $2 difference compared to the closet AYCE (Sushi Time 560) and it is a complete difference in ambiance and quality. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND DINE AT YOUR OWN RISK. This place needs to be shut down, the last health code check was in JULY 2024 with a score of 70 out of 100 with multiple violations. Why haven’t they been checked again in over a year ?

Just went to this place for all you can eat. I have been to countless all you can eat places and this place is sad compared to the others. They have a very limited menu and the quality of their food isn’t good. We got a shrimp tempura roll and had to send it back because it was old. We ordered other food but the rice is old. The food came out warm and didn’t seem fresh. Honestly this place needs to go out of business. I will not be returning. If u wanna feel like you have food poisoning I would go here.

Got two weekday buffets yesterday (Tuesday). There were a couple good things, a couple really bad things (one order of Kalbi was like 10 pieces, I don’t want that much…), and then there’s the taste. Nothing had any taste whatsoever. The mango had taste to the point where it overpowered everything else in the butterfly roll. The tempura surrounding the crab and the chicken was very hard, and flavorless. In fact they nearly nullified the flavor of the tempura sauce, and the crab was so sparse it didn’t even absorb any of the sauce period. The crab, the shrimp, the yellowtail, the salmon, both from rolls and sashimi just did not have any flavor, it was incredibly mulled and severely overboiled. The red california roll, the summer roll, the tiger roll, didn’t taste of anything except avocado and even that came and went in different bites. The spice from the summer roll was almost inexistent. The mushroom soup didn't even have anything in it, save two small pieces of cut up mushroom, and that was the most flavorful thing I got. Some of the things, the cucumber roll, didn’t even come out and the sashimi I ordered were all very small cuts. If you want to get ayce sushi, this ain’t it. I highly suggest Watawa, if you can enjoy Sushi Village spend your money where you’ll get value for your money.
