This place was pretty great. Loved the classic design, it is well missed. It was clean, and organised well. The service was fast and great. Met the nicest server in all my 24 years of life lol, and made sure to let her know. Everything was pretty smooth. The food was also delicious. It wasn't messy, undercooked, nor overcooked. It was all just right. Next time I'm in the area for awhile, definitely going back!

I mean it's a standard Wendy's in an atmosphere, haha. So it's solid. I guess. Not one of the older styles. Service was prompt. I ordered on the app and was given my order shortly after arriving. The food tasted like wendys. The hamburger was hot and tasted yummy. Fries were crisp. Nuggets were juicy and spicy. Would eat at this particular Wendy's again.

As long as the pretzel bacon pub burger is around I'm all in but the fries always have to be hot..parking is small but good, no issues, staff is good, overall great place. Thanks for reading catch you on the next one

A great Wendy's that I've gone to for a long time. Though this place has been here for years, this place is still in great condition and still good food. Also unlike other Wendy's, their building is bigger than most. It's located on a corner so it's easy to spot from the street.

This is an old Wendy's in Hicksville where I grew up. Whenever I pass through I stop. It is never crowded and the service is always fast. It is also close to the train station.

Lunchtime food was fresh and at great price (4 for $4). The location is clean. As good of an experience as one could expect. I liked.

I've been eating at Wendy's a lot more over the last few months. For those that don't know there is a popular financial app called Bumped. This app gives you a percentage of your spend back in the form of company stock - at no extra charge, but I digress. LOOK IT UP 😎 This Wendy's is in a bit of a weird location past the Broadway Mall and I find it a bit inaccessible in terms of driving. I found the interior not as modernized as other Wendy's I have been to recently. It is large inside which is nice but it is off-putting when you are the only people in there. The food was honestly fine I had no complaints. I remember it being clean which was a plus. I just think that this location is lacking the traditional feel.

Located not far from the Hicksville Train Station makes it convenient. Menu is standard for a Wendy's. Was able to eat a baked potato, frosty and cheese fries (vegetarian) for under $5. Staff was friendly and seating was ample. Side window with Street view made the short meal break a little scenic.

the baconator was great!! The fries were really good, unexpectedly you can taste the freshness of the potatoe. the starchy taste is good. we went there at 12:30am. and it was still fresh.

For the first time ever had breakfast at a Wendy's. Morning rush hour with a train station a block away and I was in and out of the drive thru in under 3 minutes. Not a bad breakfast sandwich either.

Clean and spacious. The guys behind the counter are fast. There is drive through facility. The Food is hot and crispy. The only concern is, you will need to park your car on the roadside if you are willing to go inside and order. And more often it will be hard to find a parking place and most cases it will be a metered one.

It's OK for a fast food spot. To be honest, if the ambient music they play was a big louder, it would definitely make a difference. Staff could learn to smile more.

I usually always go at night. I have no complaints. The staff is as friendly as a typical fast food employee can be. My go to is the baconator meal, spicy chicken nuggets, and I always have to get the creamy Sriracha-Best sauce at Wendy's. I really recommend the breakfast as well. The potatoes wedges are full of seasoning. The biscuit sandwiches are usually buttery and soft. And they have the $3 value breakfast which is a croissant with potato wedges.

This is next to the laundromat we go to so we usually get dinner from here during dryer-time. Our usuals are the spicy chicken sandwich meal and the crispy chicken sandwich. Basics that never go wrong. I like my bites with a bit of mayo. ;) Decent customer service. Clean place.

Wendy's was never my favorite but I do enjoy it once in a while. The food was decent. The restaurant wasn't that clean and the food looked sloppily made.

Honestly, this Wendy's is so secluded, it seems out of place. I've been here a few times, I'm not a fan of the chain itself but the food was okay. It wasn't that fresh.

I don't consume too much fast foods, however, Wendy's in my opinion is superior to it's competitors, for quality, freshness and variety.

Very good location. Just a short walk from the Hicksville train station. This is a typical *older* Wendy's store. This store really does need to get a referubishment, similar in nature to the store in Levittown.

I wish they can provide regularly good service and food. Sometimes they serve well and sometimes they don't. Chicken nuggets many times are not fresh.

Wendy's was ok the double bacon cheese burger tasted good andvtge fries well they were just ok nothing special about them and I had a medium drink all was sufficient for me. Just a quick meal no fuss nothing special about the food or the place just stopped by to eat before heading to the tillis center for a free holiday concert

It's Wendy's. You have either eaten there or not. Usually getting the grilled chicken sandwich, ditching the bread/bun and top a homemade salad. Their bread (and basically all fast food's buns, etc) is loaded with way too many chemicals, so this is the best trade off when I'm a rush, like tonight. As one that's hasn't had the big two, Mac & BK in decades now, the in walking distance Wendy's is the best for the moment. Could have done better if I woke up earlier & cooked a protein, but it was a late night.

Place had excellent workers, they always take my order fast and correctly and never have a problem. Certainly would recommend the spicy nuggets with a jr. bacon cheese burger. only down fall is the weird drive thru and how small the parking lot is.

Dining room was closed. So the Drive Thru Line was a bit longer than usual. An uber eats or Door Dash guy was in front of me who's order wasn't ready or wrong. After being on line for ten minutes I asked for Hot French fries not the ones that had been sitting for 10 minutes. Now the girl acts like she can't speak English. I didn't move until she understood.

The store is old, for lack of a better word. When I arrived around 6-7 it was rather slow, the drive thru had a bit of customers, there was a small crew on shift, which was kind of odd. The indoor experience was something rather interesting. The dining room was desolate and barren, kind of like a library. I enjoyed that, it allowed me to have a conversation in full without much distraction. The food quality wasn't what I expected from a Wendy's, but it wasn't horrible, just somewhat stale. Not the best Wendy's I've been to, far from the worse, though in brutal honesty, I'd only go here for one of my friends nostalgia.

I attempted a green drink, Fresca style!! Fresca style was not as good as plain old water!! Water is always spot on I also skipped frosty, I did not want it that time around

Recently redesigned restaurant. Drive-thru can be slow sometimes; only one way entrance into parking lot/drive-thru. Service is a little better than before. Still typical Wendy's quality food.

Open late. Great drive thru but you wouldn't want to sit inside their depressing dining area. Their drive thru is designed to destroy your rims. It took turns ruining all my rims over the past 4 years.

The store is reasonably clean and the staff were great but my wife and child who usually have iron guts got diarrhea after eating lunch there on 5/2/2024. My other kids however did not suffer any issues. Its not a common occurrence so it may be a one off.

I used the app and drive through. There was a long wait to get to the window, although only 2 cars were ahead of me. The employee tried to hand me a drink order that was not mine. This was quickly corrected. It was not until I had driven away that I discovered my chicken nuggets were missing from the order. I was unable to go back due to distance and time restraints.

The service is slow and terrible most of workers there either didnt know what they we're doing or wasnt trained properly. I had to comeback twice because the cashier doesnt know how to take orders written in paper. I understand that most of workers were highschool teenagers but they need to at least have 2 or 3 ppl with experience to work.

One of the cleaner and more efficient Wendy's I've been to. They almost never get my order wrong and the food they make always tastes fresh. Definitely would recommend for a quick bite or meal. Edit 2023: Went from one of my go to locations to one I'll actively avoid. I don't know if it's new workers or what but the last 3 times I've gone here my order has been messed up in one way or another. How hard is it to make a burger? Seriously.

Hours are deceptive. Dining room closes before 1* but there’s no indication outside or online. Food is Wendy’s. *I tried going at 10PM Edit: we ordered delivery and the fries and nuggets arrived cold and hard. Driver took less than 20 minutes from placing the order.

I come here routinely, usually order the same thing without problem. Today they got my drink wrong, fries were not hot and must have been sitting for a while. New staff is just paying attention. Drive thru is usually spot on. Not today.

Hicksville location old and abused. Staff there is like a revolving door never see the same worker for more then a few months. This is just 2 small blocks walking to the train station, if i exit via the east-most end of the platform.... very convenient to me. I was about to give it a 4-stars rating. But, as i was writing this i saw a food-preparing staff wiping her food-station with a paper towel. Then, she, presumably accidentally, dropped the towel on the wet floor. She picked it up and continue the wiping! I don't see a sense of hygiene which is particularly important in food industry. Since i see it, i will have to lower the rating. Otherwise, everything else looks satisfactory in the restaurant, considering it is a relatively old establishment.

Bad customer service I went today to wendy’s January 26 2022 I order 20 pieces of chicken nuggets they gave me 16 pieces also I order buffalo and Barbecue sauce they gave me a different sauce they said they didn’t accept Apple Pay also I said no onions because I’m allergic to onions and they still put it on. The people from there were supper road with me and friends.

Me and my boyfriend went to This Wendy’s location we ordered 3 10 piece chicken nuggets and only two. We Also ordered 2 Bacorators and French fries that were Soggy and cold the manager was very disrespectful and the people drive-through we’re on their phones texting And not paying attention to us . We called the manager and he told us to come back and he will give us our order and we go back and he tells us Drive around! They take your coupons, don't honor them, and then don't give you your receipt back so you don't realize the coupon wasn't applied. Been here a few times to say that most of the drive through staff are always unpleasant. There's a number of other Wendy's in the area that never give you issues with transactions and never make you feel like your bothering them (which isn't a lot to ask).

The one star is cuz the food is actually good. I went to the Wendy's drive thru. My first time getting Wendy's. I asked for a cheeseburger meal. The lady was fine but sounded frustrated. A guy took over to explain the four for four to me and he was much worse in his attitude and explanation. Anyway we get to the window and the young man there was so rude. He wouldn't even look at us when he handed anything to us and he slammed the wi dow every time. I said thank you every time he handed me something and he never responded once. Just slammed the door. Then I got everything all my food and asked to speak to the manager. The boy asked the manager to come to me, I saw him ask, and the manager was so irritated to come over. I told him that I myself am a waitress and work in the service industry. I am very kind to people even on my worst days and that young man was rude for no reason and you guys need to do better. He just looked at me and said "okay okay" and gave me a huge fake sarcastic smile and it was very obvious he was sarcastic and he wanted me to know he was sarcastic. The manager was disgusting. That boy was disgusting. I didn't get any names but the boy was a young white guy with long brown-ish wavy hair. The manager was an African American guy with short hair and glasses. If that is the manager that you guys have let run this restaurant then all the nasty attitudes in there make sense. My first experience with Wendy's and the food was great but that manager is a reflection on Wendy's and their views and values and respect for customers. I am in the service industry and maybe that is why this pisses me off even more. When I can put on a smile and not make a customer feel animosity then you sure as hell can also. Just so disgusting. This manager acts like he owns the place and clearly feels on top of the world talking to your customers like that and not caring about giving good service. So disappointed. So disgusting. Restaurant gets one star for cleanliness. I had the new grilled chicken sandwich which was gross. Chicken didn't taste like it was cooked enough, it was tough and grisly. I threw it out. Eat elsewhere.

The manager here makes up his own rules. I presented a coupon for 1/2 baconator and he said you need to make a purchase for that coupon to apply. No where on the coupon does it say you need to make a purchase and I've used this coupon before without any hiccups. I said okay forget that coupon and I showed him a coupon for free baconator fries with a purchase and asked if I could get a $1 cheeseburger and use this coupon and he said it needs to be a premium purchase. The coupon states free fries with ANY purchase. I'm not trying to be a cheapskate, but if Wendy's makes a coupon with little to no restrictions then you must honor that. You can't just make up your own rules because the coupon causes you to lose money. I've been a long time customer of this location and all I can say is that I won't be coming back here ever again. I'll take my business to another Wendy's franchise where the manager's aren't trying to screw over the customers and creating bogus rules.

Don't Order from here. The absolute worst!! Ordered from here. Didn't get a receipt nor my chicken nuggets. Drove back to ask for a refund. They had an attitude bc I wanted a refund of my entire order. Didn't even try to make things right. Didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Lack of customer service. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I've been here a few times previously and had a negative experience each time but I was in the neighborhood so I stopped by. I ordered a plain cheeseburger, small fries, a 4 piece nugget, frosty and soda. The cheeseburger was covered with a bunch of things, bacon included which I won't eat and it was hard and felt like it had been sitting for a while. this has to be the worst wendys in america... ive been there 3 times this month and 3 times they have screwed up my order even when ive asked them to confirm it and check my bag. I came here with my family we ordered food the person's registered did not hand us a receipt when we received our food half our food was not there when we request a receipt from the manager were given one by the manager slamming it down onto the counter with an attitude saying that he didn't charge us for the stuff and then he proceeded to tell us that we had a rewait in line while other food is getting cold to get the rest of our food and the top it off after we got the rest of our food I came back to the original food we received and the burger ordered was wrong and now the rest of my food is cold again upon requesting to speak to a manager i was denies. When we pick up the order, the frosty is missing, we asked the lady who gave us the order, she looked at her computer screen and said I didn't, i show her my receipt, then she gave me the frosty, later on, my son found out that we received the small fries which we ordered a large, my son brought it back to the lady and showed her the receipt, she took back the fries and put it back to the all other fries, and gave us a large one. Well, we didn't touch the fries, but as I know of, she has to discard the "return" fries instead of put it back and "ready" to give it to someone else.

This location is the ABSOLUTE slowest!! Ordered food at the kiosk and there was employees behind the counter dazed and confused. They were arguing. Asking me what I got numerous times as if they couldn’t read the order on their screen or the printed receipt. It took 27 mins from ordering until I got my food. So glad I got to eat it on my 30 min lunch break 🙄. This is absolutely asinine.
